will be with you.(nasb) ======= Joshua 3:8 ============ Jos 3:8 And thou shalt command the priests that bear the ark of the covenant, saying, When ye are come to the brink of the water of Jordan, ye shall stand still in Jordan.(KJV) Joshua 3:8 Thou shalt therefore command the Priests that beare the Arke of the Couenant, saying, When ye are come to the brinke of the waters of Iorden, ye shall the Hivites, and the Perizzites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Jebusites.(KJV) Joshua 3:10 And Ioshua said, Hereby ye shall know that the liuing God is among you, and that he will Hivite, the Perizzite, the Girgashite, the Amorite, and the Jebusite.(nasb) ======= Joshua 3:11 ============ Jos 3:11 Behold, the ark of the covenant of the LORD of all the earth passeth over before Lord of all the earth is crossing over ahead of you into the Jordan.(nasb) ======= Joshua 3:12 ============ Jos 3:12 Now therefore take you twelve men out of the tribes of Israel, out of every tribe a the LORD, the LORD of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of Jordan, that the waters of Jordan shall be cut off from the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand upon an heap.(KJV) Joshua 3:13 And assoone as the soles of the feete of the Priestes (that beare the Arke of the Lorde God the Lorde of all the worlde) shall stay in the waters of Iorden, the waters of Iorden shall be cut off: for the waters that come from aboue, shall stande still vpon an heape.(Geneva) Josué 3:13 Et dès que les sacrificateurs qui portent l'arche de l'Eternel, le Seigneur de toute la terre, Joshua Jos 3:13 It shall come about when the soles of the feet of the priests who carry the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, rest in the waters of the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan will be cut off, and the waters which are flowing down from above will stand in one heap."(nasb) ======= Joshua 3:14 ============ Jos 3:14 And it came to pass, when the people removed from their tents, to pass over Jordan, and the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people;(KJV) Joshua 3:14 Then when the people were departed from their tentes to goe ouer Iorden, the Priestes bearing the their tents to cross the Jordan with the priests carrying the ark of the covenant before the people,(nasb) ======= Joshua 3:15 ============ Jos 3:15 And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,)(KJV) Joshua 3:15 And as they that bare the Arke came vnto Iorden, and the feete of the Priestes that bare the Arke were dipped in the brinke of the water, ( for Iorden vseth to fill all his bankes all the time of haruest)(Geneva) Josué 3:15 Quand les sacrificateurs qui portaient l'arche furent arrivés au Jourdain, et que leurs pieds se furent mouillés au bord de l'eau, -le Jourdain regorge par-dessus toutes ses rives tout le temps de la קָצִֽיר׃ Joshua Jos 3:15 and when those who carried the ark came into the Jordan, and the feet of the priests carrying the ark were dipped in the edge of the water (for the Jordan overflows all its banks all the days of harvest),(nasb) ======= Joshua 3:16 ============ Jos 3:16 That the waters which came down from above stood and rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, failed, and were cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.(KJV) Joshua 3:16 Then the waters that came downe from aboue, stayed and rose vpon an heape and departed farre from the citie of Adam, that was beside Zaretan: but the waters that came downe towarde the Sea of the wildernes, euen the salt Sea, failed, and were cut off: so the people went right ouer against Iericho.(Geneva) Josué 3:16 les eaux qui descendent d'en haut s'arrêtèrent, et s'élevèrent en un monceau, à une très grande distance, près de la ville d'Adam, qui est à côté de Tsarthan; et celles qui descendaient vers la mer de la plaine, la mer Salée, furent complètement coupées. Le peuple passa vis-à-vis de Jéricho.(FR) 16 ׃3 וַיַּעַמְד֡וּ הַמַּיִם֩ הַיֹּרְדִ֨ים מִלְמַ֜עְלָה קָ֣מוּ נֵד־אֶחָ֗ד הַרְחֵ֨ק מְאֹ֜ד *באדם **מֵֽאָדָ֤ם הָעִיר֙ אֲשֶׁר֙ מִצַּ֣ד צָֽרְתָ֔ן וְהַיֹּרְדִ֗ים עַ֣ל יָ֧ם הָעֲרָבָ֛ה יָם־הַמֶּ֖לַח תַּ֣מּוּ נִכְרָ֑תוּ וְהָעָ֥ם עָבְר֖וּ נֶ֥גֶד יְרִיחֽוֹ׃ Joshua Jos 3:16 the waters which were flowing down from above stood and rose up in one heap, a great distance away at Adam, the city that is beside Zarethan; and those which were flowing down toward the sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, were completely cut off. So the people crossed opposite Jericho.(nasb) ======= Joshua 3:17 ============ Jos 3:17 And the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of Jordan, and all the Israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Jordan.(kjv) Joshua 3:17 But the Priestes that bare the Arke of the couenant of the Lorde, stoode drie within Iorden readie prepared, and all the Israelites went ouer dry, vntill all the people were gone cleane ouer through Iorden.(Geneva) Josué 3:17 Les sacrificateurs qui portaient l'arche de l'alliance de l'Eternel s'arrêtèrent de pied ferme sur le sec, au milieu du Jourdain, pendant que tout Israël passait à sec, jusqu'à ce que toute la nation eût achevé de passer le Jourdain.(FR) 17 ׃3 וַיַּעַמְד֣וּ הַכֹּהֲנִ֡ים נֹ֠שְׂאֵי הָאָר֨וֹן בְּרִית־יְהוָ֜ה בֶּחֽ͏ָרָבָ֛ה בְּת֥וֹךְ הַיַּרְדֵּ֖ן הָכֵ֑ן וְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל עֹֽבְרִים֙ בֶּחָ֣רָבָ֔ה עַ֤ד אֲשֶׁר־תַּ֙מּוּ֙ כָּל־הַגּ֔וֹי לַעֲבֹ֖ר אֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃ Joshua Jos 3:17 And the priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan while all Israel crossed on dry ground, until all the nation had finished crossing the Jordan.
