Acan, fils de Carmi, fils de Zabdi, fils de Zérach, de la tribu de Juda, prit des choses dévouées. Et la colère de l'Eternel s'enflamma contre les enfants d'Israël.(FR) 1 ׃7 וַיִּמְעֲל֧וּ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל מַ֖עַל בַּחֵ֑רֶם וַיִּקַּ֡ח עָכָ֣ן בֶּן־כַּרְמִי֩ בֶן־זַבְדִּ֨י בֶן־זֶ֜רַח לְמַטֵּ֤ה יְהוּדָה֙ מִן־הַחֵ֔רֶם וַיִּֽחַר־אַ֥ף יְהוָ֖ה בִּבְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Joshua Jos 7:1 But the sons of Israel acted unfaithfully in regard to the things under the ban, for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, from the tribe of Judah, took some of the things under the ban, therefore the anger of the Lord burned against the sons of Israel.(nasb) ======= Joshua 7:2 ============ Jos 7:2 And Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is beside Bethaven, on the east of Bethel, and spake unto them, saying, Go up and view the country. Et ces hommes montèrent, et explorèrent Aï.(FR) 2 ׃7 וַיִּשְׁלַח֩ יְהוֹשֻׁ֨עַ אֲנָשִׁ֜ים מִֽירִיח֗וֹ הָעַ֞י אֲשֶׁ֨ר עִם־בֵּ֥ית אָ֙וֶן֙ מִקֶּ֣דֶם לְבֵֽית־אֵ֔ל וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֲלֵיהֶם֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר עֲל֖וּ וְרַגְּל֣וּ אֶת־הָאָ֑רֶץ וַֽיַּעֲלוּ֙ הָאֲנָשִׁ֔ים וַֽיְרַגְּל֖וּ אֶת־הָעָֽי׃ Joshua Jos 7:2 Now Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is near Beth-aven, east of Bethel, and said to them, "Go up and spy out the land." Oh! si nous eussions su rester de l'autre côté du Jourdain!(FR) 7 ׃7 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוֹשֻׁ֜עַ אֲהָ֣הּ ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה לָ֠מָה הֵעֲבַ֨רְתָּ הַעֲבִ֜יר אֶת־הָעָ֤ם הַזֶּה֙ אֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּ֔ן לָתֵ֥ת אֹתָ֛נוּ בְּיַ֥ד הָאֱמֹרִ֖י לְהַאֲבִידֵ֑נוּ וְלוּ֙ הוֹאַ֣לְנוּ וַנֵּ֔שֶׁב בְּעֵ֖בֶר הַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃ Joshua Jos 7:7 Joshua said, "Alas, O Lord God, why did You ever bring this people over the Jordan, only to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? If only we had been willing to dwell beyond the Jordan!(nasb) ======= Joshua 7:8 ============ Jos 7:8 O LORD, what shall I say, when Israel turneth their backs before their enemies!(KJV) Joshua 7:8 Oh Lord, what shal I say, when Israel turne their backes before their enemies?(Geneva) Josué 7:8 De grâce, Seigneur, que dirai-je, après qu'Israël a tourné le dos devant ses ennemis?(FR) 8 ׃7 בִּ֖י אֲדֹנָ֑י מָ֣ה אֹמַ֔ר אַ֠חֲרֵי אֲשֶׁ֨ר הָפַ֧ךְ יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל עֹ֖רֶף לִפְנֵ֥י אֹיְבָֽיו׃ Joshua Jos 7:8 O Lord, what can I say since Israel has turned their back before their enemies?(nasb) ======= Joshua 7:9 ============ Jos 7:9 For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land shall hear of it, and shall environ us round, and cut off our name from the earth: and what wilt thou do unto thy great name?(KJV) Joshua 7:9 For the Canaanites, and all the inhabitants of the land shall heare of it, and shall compasse vs, and destroy our name out of the earth: and what wilt thou doe vnto thy mightie Name?(Geneva) Josué 7:9 Les Cananéens et tous les habitants du pays l'apprendront; ils nous envelopperont, et ils feront disparaître notre nom de la terre. And what will You do for Your great name?"(nasb) ======= Joshua 7:10 ============ Jos 7:10 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Get thee up; wherefore liest thou thus upon thy face?(KJV) Joshua 7:10 And the Lord said vnto Ioshua, Get thee vp: wherefore lyest thou thus vpon thy face?(Geneva) Josué 7:10 L'Eternel dit à Josué: Lève-toi! Why is it that you have fallen on your face?(nasb) ======= Joshua 7:11 ============ Jos 7:11 Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff.(KJV) Joshua 7:11 Israel hath sinned, and they haue transgressed my couenant, which I commanded them: for they haue euen taken of the excomunicate thing, and haue also stollen, and dissembled also, and haue put it euen with their owne stuffe.(Geneva) Josué 7:11 Israël a péché; ils ont transgressé mon alliance que je leur ai prescrite, ils ont pris des choses dévouées par interdit, ils les ont dérobées et ont dissimulé, et ils les ont cachées parmi leurs bagages.(FR) 11 ׃7 חָטָא֙ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְגַם֙ עָבְר֣וּ אֶת־בְּרִיתִ֔י אֲשֶׁ֥ר צִוִּ֖יתִי אוֹתָ֑ם וְגַ֤ם לָֽקְחוּ֙ מִן־הַחֵ֔רֶם וְגַ֤ם גָּֽנְבוּ֙ וְגַ֣ם כִּֽחֲשׁ֔וּ וְגַ֖ם שָׂ֥מוּ בִכְלֵיהֶֽם׃ Joshua Jos 7:11 Israel has sinned, and they have also transgressed My covenant which I commanded them. And they have even taken some of the things under the ban and have both stolen and deceived. Moreover, they have also put them among their own things.(nasb) ======= Joshua 7:12 ============ Jos 7:12 Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed: neither will I be with you any more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you.(KJV) Joshua 7:12 Therefore ye children of Israel cannot stand before their enemies, but haue turned their backes before their enemies, because they be execrable: neither will I bee with you any more, except ye destroy the excommunicate from among you.(Geneva) Josué 7:12 Aussi les enfants d'Israël ne peuvent-ils résister à leurs ennemis; ils tourneront le dos devant leurs ennemis, car ils sont sous l'interdit; je ne serai plus avec vous, si vous ne détruisez pas l'interdit du milieu de vous.(FR) 12 ׃7 וְלֹ֨א יֻכְל֜וּ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל לָקוּם֙ לִפְנֵ֣י אֹיְבֵיהֶ֔ם עֹ֗רֶף יִפְנוּ֙ לִפְנֵ֣י אֹֽיְבֵיהֶ֔ם כִּ֥י הָי֖וּ לְחֵ֑רֶם לֹ֤א אוֹסִיף֙ לִֽהְי֣וֹת עִמָּכֶ֔ם אִם־לֹ֥א תַשְׁמִ֛ידוּ הַחֵ֖רֶם מִֽקִּרְבְּכֶֽם׃ Joshua Jos 7:12 Therefore the sons of Israel cannot stand before their enemies; they turn their backs before their enemies, for they have become accursed. I will not be with you anymore unless you destroy the things under the ban from your midst.(nasb) ======= Joshua 7:13 ============ Jos 7:13 Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow: for thus saith the LORD God of Israel, There is an accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the accursed thing from among you.(KJV) Joshua 7:13 Vp therefore, sanctifie the people, and say, Sanctifie your selues against to morowe: for thus saith the Lorde God of Israel, There is an execrable thing among you, O Israel, therefore ye cannot stand against your enemies, vntill ye haue put the execrable thing from among you.(Geneva) Josué 7:13 Lève-toi, sanctifie le peuple. Consecrate the people and say, 'Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow, for thus the Lord, the God of Israel, has said, "There are things under the ban in your midst, O Israel. And it shall be that the tribe which the Lord takes by lot shall come near by families, and the family which the Lord takes shall come near by households, and the household which the Lord takes shall come near man by man.(nasb) ======= Joshua 7:15 ============ Jos 7:15 And it shall be, that he that is taken with the accursed thing shall be burnt with fire, he and all that he hath: because he hath transgressed the covenant of the LORD, and because he hath wrought folly in Israel.(KJV) Joshua 7:15 And he that is taken with the excommunicate thing, shall be burnt with fire, hee, and all that he hath, because he hath transgressed the couenant of the Lord, and because he hath wrought folly in Israel.(Geneva) Josué 7:15 Celui qui sera désigné comme ayant pris de ce qui était dévoué par interdit sera brûlé au feu, lui et tout ce qui lui appartient, pour avoir transgressé l'alliance de l'Eternel et commis une infamie en Israël.(FR) 15 ׃7 וְהָיָה֙ הַנִּלְכָּ֣ד בַּחֵ֔רֶם יִשָּׂרֵ֣ף בָּאֵ֔שׁ אֹת֖וֹ וְאֶת־כָּל־אֲשֶׁר־ל֑וֹ כִּ֤י עָבַר֙ אֶת־בְּרִ֣ית יְהוָ֔ה וְכִֽי־עָשָׂ֥ה נְבָלָ֖ה בְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Joshua Jos 7:15 It shall be that the one who is taken with the things under the ban shall be burned with fire, he and all that belongs to him, because he has transgressed the covenant of the Lord, and because he has committed a disgraceful thing in Israel.'" (nasb) ======= Joshua 7:16 ============ Jos 7:16 So Joshua rose up early in the morning, and brought Israel by their tribes; and the tribe of Judah was taken:(KJV) Joshua 7:16 So Ioshua rose vp earely in the morning and brought Israel by their tribes: and the tribe of Iudah was taken.(Geneva) Josué 7:16 Josué se leva de bon matin, et il fit approcher Israël selon ses tribus, et la tribu de Juda fut désignée.(FR) 16 ׃7 וַיַּשְׁכֵּ֤ם יְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙ בַּבֹּ֔קֶר וַיַּקְרֵ֥ב אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לִשְׁבָטָ֑יו וַיִּלָּכֵ֖ד שֵׁ֥בֶט יְהוּדָֽה׃ Joshua Jos 7:16 So Joshua arose early in the morning and brought Israel near by tribes, and the tribe of Judah was taken.(nasb) ======= Joshua 7:17 ============ Jos 7:17 And he brought the family of Judah; and he took the family of the Zarhites: and he brought the family of the Zarhites man by man; and Zabdi was taken:(KJV) Joshua 7:17 And he brought the families of Iudah, and tooke the familie of the Zarhites, and he brought the familie of the Zarhites, man by man, and Zabdi was taken.(Geneva) Josué 7:17 Il fit approcher les familles de Juda, et la famille de Zérach fut désignée. The Lord will trouble you this day." And all Israel stoned them with stones; and they burned them with fire after they had stoned them with stones.(nasb) ======= Joshua 7:26 ============ Jos 7:26 And they raised over him a great heap of stones unto this day. So the LORD turned from the fierceness of his anger. Wherefore the name of that place was called, The valley of Achor, unto this day.(kjv) Joshua 7:26 And they cast vpon him a great heape of stones vnto this day: and so the Lord turned from his fierce wrath: therefore hee called the name of that place, The valley of Achor, vnto this day.(Geneva) Josué 7:26 et l'on éleva sur Acan un grand monceau de pierres, qui subsiste encore aujourd'hui. Et l'Eternel revint de l'ardeur de sa colère.
