Des gens de rien se rassemblèrent auprès de Jephthé, et ils faisaient avec lui des excursions.(FR) 3 ׃11 וַיִּבְרַ֤ח יִפְתָּח֙ מִפְּנֵ֣י אֶחָ֔יו וַיֵּ֖שֶׁב בְּאֶ֣רֶץ ט֑וֹב וַיִּֽתְלַקְּט֤וּ אֶל־יִפְתָּח֙ אֲנָשִׁ֣ים רֵיקִ֔ים וַיֵּצְא֖וּ עִמּֽוֹ׃ פ Judges Jdg 11:3 So Jephthah fled from his brothers and lived in the land of Tob; and worthless fellows gathered themselves about Jephthah, and they went out with him.(nasb) ======= Judges 11:4 ============ Jdg 11:4 And it came to pass in process of time, that the children of Ammon made war against Israel.(KJV) Judges 11:4 And in processe of time the children of Ammon made warre with Israel.(Geneva) Juges 11:4 Quelque temps après, les fils d'Ammon firent la guerre à Israël.(FR) 4 ׃11 וַיְהִ֖י מִיָּמִ֑ים וַיִּלָּחֲמ֥וּ בְנֵֽי־עַמּ֖וֹן עִם־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Judges Jdg 11:4 It came about after a while that the sons of Ammon fought against Israel.(nasb) ======= Judges 11:5 ============ Jdg 11:5 And it was so, that when the children of Ammon made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to fetch Jephthah out of the land of Tob:(KJV) Judges 11:5 And when the children of Ammon fought with Israel, the Elders of Gilead went to fet Iphtah out of the land of Tob.(Geneva) Juges 11:5 Et comme les fils d'Ammon faisaient la guerre à Israël, les anciens de Galaad allèrent chercher Jephthé au pays de Tob.(FR) 5 ׃11 וַיְהִ֕י כַּאֲשֶׁר־נִלְחֲמ֥וּ בְנֵֽי־עַמּ֖וֹן עִם־יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיֵּֽלְכוּ֙ זִקְנֵ֣י גִלְעָ֔ד לָקַ֥חַת אֶת־יִפְתָּ֖ח מֵאֶ֥רֶץ טֽוֹב׃ Judges Jdg 11:5 When the sons of Ammon fought against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to get Jephthah from the land of Tob;(nasb) ======= Judges 11:6 ============ Jdg 11:6 And they said unto Jephthah, Come, and be our captain, that we may fight with the children of Ammon.(KJV) Judges 11:6 And they saide vnto Iphtah, Come and be our captaine, that we may fight with the children of Ammon.(Geneva) Juges 11:6 Ils dirent à Jephthé: Viens, tu seras notre chef, et nous combattrons les fils d'Ammon.(FR) 6 ׃11 וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ לְיִפְתָּ֔ח לְכָ֕ה וְהָיִ֥יתָה לָּ֖נוּ לְקָצִ֑ין וְנִֽלָּחֲמָ֖ה בִּבְנֵ֥י עַמּֽוֹן׃ Judges Jdg 11:6 and they said to Jephthah, "Come and be our chief that we may fight against the sons of Ammon."(nasb) ======= Judges 11:7 ============ Jdg 11:7 And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, Did not ye hate me, and expel me out of my father's house? and why are ye come unto me now when ye are in distress?(KJV) Judges 11:7 Iphtah then answered the Elders of Gilead, Did not ye hate me, and expell me out of my fathers house? how then come you vnto me now in time of your tribulation?(Geneva) Juges 11:7 Jephthé répondit aux anciens de Galaad: N'avez-vous pas eu de la haine pour moi, et ne m'avez-vous pas chassé de la maison de mon père? Pourquoi venez-vous à moi maintenant que vous êtes dans la détresse?(FR) 7 ׃11 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יִפְתָּח֙ לְזִקְנֵ֣י גִלְעָ֔ד הֲלֹ֤א אַתֶּם֙ שְׂנֵאתֶ֣ם אוֹתִ֔י וַתְּגָרְשׁ֖וּנִי מִבֵּ֣ית אָבִ֑י וּמַדּ֜וּעַ בָּאתֶ֤ם אֵלַי֙ עַ֔תָּה כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר צַ֥ר לָכֶֽם׃ Judges Jdg 11:7 Then Jephthah said to the elders of Gilead, "Did you not hate me and drive me from my father's house? So why have you come to me now when you are in trouble?"(nasb) ======= Judges 11:8 ============ Jdg 11:8 And the elders of Gilead said unto Jephthah, Therefore we turn again to thee now, that thou mayest go with us, and fight against the children of Ammon, and be our head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.(KJV) Judges 11:8 Then the Elders of Gilead saide vnto Iphtah, Therefore we turne againe to thee now, that thou mayest goe with vs, and fight against the children of Ammon, and bee our head ouer all the inhabitants of Gilead.(Geneva) Juges 11:8 Les anciens de Galaad dirent à Jephthé: Nous revenons à toi maintenant, afin que tu marches avec nous, que tu combattes les fils d'Ammon, et que tu sois notre chef, celui de tous les habitants de Galaad.(FR) 8 ׃11 וַיֹּאמְרוּ֩ זִקְנֵ֨י גִלְעָ֜ד אֶל־יִפְתָּ֗ח לָכֵן֙ עַתָּה֙ שַׁ֣בְנוּ אֵלֶ֔יךָ וְהָלַכְתָּ֣ עִמָּ֔נוּ וְנִלְחַמְתָּ֖ בִּבְנֵ֣י עַמּ֑וֹן וְהָיִ֤יתָ לָּ֙נוּ֙ לְרֹ֔אשׁ לְכֹ֖ל יֹשְׁבֵ֥י גִלְעָֽד׃ Judges Jdg 11:8 The elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, "For this reason we have now returned to you, that you may go with us and fight with the sons of Ammon and become head over all the inhabitants of Gilead."(nasb) ======= Judges 11:9 ============ Jdg 11:9 And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, If ye bring me home again to fight against the children of Ammon, and the LORD deliver them before me, shall I be your head?(KJV) Judges 11:9 And Iphtah said vnto the Elders of Gilead, If ye bring me home againe to fight against the children of Ammon, if the Lord giue them before me, shall I be your head?(Geneva) Juges 11:9 Jephthé répondit aux anciens de Galaad: Si vous me ramenez pour combattre les fils d'Ammon, et que l'Eternel les livre devant moi, je serai votre chef.(FR) 9 ׃11 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יִפְתָּ֜ח אֶל־זִקְנֵ֣י גִלְעָ֗ד אִם־מְשִׁיבִ֨ים אַתֶּ֤ם אוֹתִי֙ לְהִלָּחֵם֙ בִּבְנֵ֣י עַמּ֔וֹן וְנָתַ֧ן יְהוָ֛ה אוֹתָ֖ם לְפָנָ֑י אָנֹכִ֕י אֶהְיֶ֥ה לָכֶ֖ם לְרֹֽאשׁ׃ Judges Jdg 11:9 So Jephthah said to the elders of Gilead, "If you take me back to fight against the sons of Ammon and the Lord gives them up to me, will I become your head?"(nasb) ======= Judges 11:10 ============ Jdg 11:10 And the elders of Gilead said unto Jephthah, The LORD be witness between us, if we do not so according to thy words.(KJV) Judges 11:10 And the Elders of Gilead saide to Iphtah, The Lorde be witnesse betweene vs, if we doe not according to thy wordes.(Geneva) Juges 11:10 Les anciens de Galaad dirent à Jephthé: Que l'Eternel nous entende, et qu'il juge, si nous ne faisons pas ce que tu dis.(FR) 10 ׃11 וַיֹּאמְר֥וּ זִקְנֵֽי־גִלְעָ֖ד אֶל־יִפְתָּ֑ח יְהוָ֗ה יִהְיֶ֤ה שֹׁמֵ֙עַ֙ בֵּֽינוֹתֵ֔ינוּ אִם־לֹ֥א כִדְבָרְךָ֖ כֵּ֥ן נַעֲשֶֽׂה׃ Judges Jdg 11:10 The elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, "The Lord is witness between us; surely we will do as you have said."(nasb) ======= Judges 11:11 ============ Jdg 11:11 Then Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead, and the people made him head and captain over them: and Jephthah uttered all his words before the LORD in Mizpeh.(KJV) Judges 11:11 Then Iphtah went with the Elders of Gilead, and the people made him head and captaine ouer them: and Iphtah rehearsed all his wordes before the Lorde in Mizpeh.(Geneva) Juges 11:11 Et Jephthé partit avec les anciens de Galaad. Le peuple le mit à sa tête et l'établit comme chef, et Jephthé répéta devant l'Eternel, à Mitspa, toutes les paroles qu'il avait prononcées.(FR) 11 ׃11 וַיֵּ֤לֶךְ יִפְתָּח֙ עִם־זִקְנֵ֣י גִלְעָ֔ד וַיָּשִׂ֨ימוּ הָעָ֥ם אוֹת֛וֹ עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם לְרֹ֣אשׁ וּלְקָצִ֑ין וַיְדַבֵּ֨ר יִפְתָּ֧ח אֶת־כָּל־דְּבָרָ֛יו לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָ֖ה בַּמִּצְפָּֽה׃ פ Judges Jdg 11:11 Then Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead, and the people made him head and chief over them; and Jephthah spoke all his words before the Lord at Mizpah.(nasb) ======= Judges 11:12 ============ Jdg 11:12 And Jephthah sent messengers unto the king of the children of Ammon, saying, What hast thou to do with me, that thou art come against me to fight in my land?(KJV) Judges 11:12 Then Iphtah sent messengers vnto the king of the children of Ammon, saying, What hast thou to doe with me, that thou art come against me, to fight in my lande?(Geneva) Juges 11:12 Jephthé envoya des messagers au roi des fils d'Ammon, pour lui dire: Qu'y a-t-il entre moi et toi, que tu viennes contre moi pour faire la guerre à mon pays?(FR) 12 ׃11 וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח יִפְתָּח֙ מַלְאָכִ֔ים אֶל־מֶ֥לֶךְ בְּנֵֽי־עַמּ֖וֹן לֵאמֹ֑ר מַה־לִּ֣י וָלָ֔ךְ כִּֽי־בָ֥אתָ אֵלַ֖י לְהִלָּחֵ֥ם בְּאַרְצִֽי׃ Judges Jdg 11:12 Now Jephthah sent messengers to the king of the sons of Ammon, saying, "What is between you and me, that you have come to me to fight against my land?"(nasb) ======= Judges 11:13 ============ Jdg 11:13 And the king of the children of Ammon answered unto the messengers of Jephthah, Because Israel took away my land, when they came up out of Egypt, from Arnon even unto Jabbok, and unto Jordan: now therefore restore those lands again peaceably.(KJV) Judges 11:13 And the King of the children of Ammon answered vnto the messengers of Iphtah, Because Israel tooke my lande, when they came vp from Egypt, fro Arnon vnto Iabbok, & vnto Iorden: now therefore restore those lands quietly.(Geneva) Juges 11:13 Le roi des fils d'Ammon répondit aux messagers de Jephthé: C'est qu'Israël, quand il est monté d'Egypte, s'est emparé de mon pays, depuis l'Arnon jusqu'au Jabbok et au Jourdain. Rends-le maintenant de bon gré.(FR) 13 ׃11 וַיֹּאמֶר֩ מֶ֨לֶךְ בְּנֵי־עַמּ֜וֹן אֶל־מַלְאֲכֵ֣י יִפְתָּ֗ח כִּֽי־לָקַ֨ח יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל אֶת־אַרְצִי֙ בַּעֲלוֹת֣וֹ מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם מֵאַרְנ֥וֹן וְעַד־הַיַּבֹּ֖ק וְעַד־הַיַּרְדֵּ֑ן וְעַתָּ֕ה הָשִׁ֥יבָה אֶתְהֶ֖ן בְּשָׁלֽוֹם׃ Judges Jdg 11:13 The king of the sons of Ammon said to the messengers of Jephthah, "Because Israel took away my land when they came up from Egypt, from the Arnon as far as the Jabbok and the Jordan; therefore, return them peaceably now."(nasb) ======= Judges 11:14 ============ Jdg 11:14 And Jephthah sent messengers again unto the king of the children of Ammon:(KJV) Judges 11:14 Yet Iphtah sent messengers againe vnto the King of the children of Ammon,(Geneva) Juges 11:14 Jephthé envoya de nouveau des messagers au roi des fils d'Ammon,(FR) 14 ׃11 וַיּ֥וֹסֶף ע֖וֹד יִפְתָּ֑ח וַיִּשְׁלַח֙ מַלְאָכִ֔ים אֶל־מֶ֖לֶךְ בְּנֵ֥י עַמּֽוֹן׃ Judges Jdg 11:14 But Jephthah sent messengers again to the king of the sons of Ammon,(nasb) ======= Judges 11:15 ============ Jdg 11:15 And said unto him, Thus saith Jephthah, Israel took not away the land of Moab, nor the land of the children of Ammon:(KJV) Judges 11:15 And said vnto him, Thus saith Iphtah, Israel tooke not the lande of Moab, nor the lande of the children of Ammon.(Geneva) Juges 11:15 pour lui dire: Ainsi parle Jephthé: Israël ne s'est point emparé du pays de Moab, ni du pays des fils d'Ammon.(FR) 15 ׃11 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ל֔וֹ כֹּ֖ה אָמַ֣ר יִפְתָּ֑ח לֹֽא־לָקַ֤ח יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אֶת־אֶ֣רֶץ מוֹאָ֔ב וְאֶת־אֶ֖רֶץ בְּנֵ֥י עַמּֽוֹן׃ Judges Jdg 11:15 and they said to him, "Thus says Jephthah, 'Israel did not take away the land of Moab nor the land of the sons of Ammon.(nasb) ======= Judges 11:16 ============ Jdg 11:16 But when Israel came up from Egypt, and walked through the wilderness unto the Red sea, and came to Kadesh;(KJV) Judges 11:16 But when Israel came vp from Egypt, and walked through the wildernesse vnto the redde Sea, then they came to Kadesh.(Geneva) Juges 11:16 Car lorsque Israël est monté d'Egypte, il a marché dans le désert jusqu'à la mer Rouge, et il est arrivé à Kadès.(FR) 16 ׃11 כִּ֖י בַּעֲלוֹתָ֣ם מִמִּצְרָ֑יִם וַיֵּ֨לֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל בַּמִּדְבָּר֙ עַד־יַם־ס֔וּף וַיָּבֹ֖א קָדֵֽשָׁה׃ Judges Jdg 11:16 For when they came up from Egypt, and Israel went through the wilderness to the Red Sea and came to Kadesh,(nasb) ======= Judges 11:17 ============ Jdg 11:17 Then Israel sent messengers unto the king of Edom, saying, Let me, I pray thee, pass through thy land: but the king of Edom would not hearken thereto. And in like manner they sent unto the king of Moab: but he would not consent: and Israel abode in Kadesh.(KJV) Judges 11:17 And Israel sent messengers vnto the king of Edom, saying, Let me, I pray thee, goe thorowe thy lande: but the King of Edom woulde not consent: and also they sent vnto the King of Moab, but he would not: therefore Israel abode in Kadesh.(Geneva) Juges 11:17 Alors Israël envoya des messagers au roi d'Edom, pour lui dire: Laisse-moi passer par ton pays. Mais le roi d'Edom n'y consentit pas. Il en envoya aussi au roi de Moab, qui refusa. Et Israël resta à Kadès.(FR) 17 ׃11 וַיִּשְׁלַ֣ח יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל מַלְאָכִ֣ים ׀ אֶל־מֶלֶךְ֩ אֱד֨וֹם ׀ לֵאמֹ֜ר אֶעְבְּרָה־נָּ֣א בְאַרְצֶ֗ךָ וְלֹ֤א שָׁמַע֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ אֱד֔וֹם וְגַ֨ם אֶל־מֶ֧לֶךְ מוֹאָ֛ב שָׁלַ֖ח וְלֹ֣א אָבָ֑ה וַיֵּ֥שֶׁב יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בְּקָדֵֽשׁ׃ Judges Jdg 11:17 then Israel sent messengers to the king of Edom, saying, "Please let us pass through your land," but the king of Edom would not listen. And they also sent to the king of Moab, but he would not consent. So Israel remained at Kadesh.(nasb) ======= Judges 11:18 ============ Jdg 11:18 Then they went along through the wilderness, and compassed the land of Edom, and the land of Moab, and came by the east side of the land of Moab, and pitched on the other side of Arnon, but came not within the border of Moab: for Arnon was the border of Moab.(KJV) Judges 11:18 Then they went through the wildernesse, and compassed the lande of Edom, and the lande of Moab, and came by the Eastside of the lande of Moab, and pitched on the other side of Arnon, and came not within the coast of Moab: for Arnon was the border of Moab.(Geneva) Juges 11:18 Puis il marcha par le désert, tourna le pays d'Edom et le pays de Moab, et vint à l'orient du pays de Moab; ils campèrent au delà de l'Arnon, sans entrer sur le territoire de Moab, car l'Arnon est la frontière de Moab.(FR) 18 ׃11 וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ בַּמִּדְבָּ֗ר וַיָּ֜סָב אֶת־אֶ֤רֶץ אֱדוֹם֙ וְאֶת־אֶ֣רֶץ מוֹאָ֔ב וַיָּבֹ֤א מִמִּזְרַח־שֶׁ֙מֶשׁ֙ לְאֶ֣רֶץ מוֹאָ֔ב וַֽיַּחֲנ֖ו[c]ן בְּעֵ֣בֶר אַרְנ֑וֹן וְלֹא־בָ֙אוּ֙ בִּגְב֣וּל מוֹאָ֔ב כִּ֥י אַרְנ֖וֹן גְּב֥וּל מוֹאָֽב׃ Judges Jdg 11:18 Then they went through the wilderness and around the land of Edom and the land of Moab, and came to the east side of the land of Moab, and they camped beyond the Arnon; but they did not enter the territory of Moab, for the Arnon was the border of Moab.(nasb) ======= Judges 11:19 ============ Jdg 11:19 And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites, the king of Heshbon; and Israel said unto him, Let us pass, we pray thee, through thy land into my place.(KJV) Judges 11:19 Also Israel sent messengers vnto Sihon, King of the Amorites, the King of Heshbon, and Israel said vnto him, Let vs passe, we pray thee, by thy lande vnto our place.(Geneva) Juges 11:19 Israël envoya des messagers à Sihon, roi des Amoréens, roi de Hesbon, et Israël lui dit: Laisse-nous passer par ton pays jusqu'au lieu où nous allons.(FR) 19 ׃11 וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ מַלְאָכִ֔ים אֶל־סִיח֥וֹן מֶֽלֶךְ־הָאֱמֹרִ֖י מֶ֣לֶךְ חֶשְׁבּ֑וֹן וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לוֹ֙ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל נַעְבְּרָה־נָּ֥א בְאַרְצְךָ֖ עַד־מְקוֹמִֽי׃ Judges Jdg 11:19 And Israel sent messengers to Sihon king of the Amorites, the king of Heshbon, and Israel said to him, "Please let us pass through your land to our place."(nasb) ======= Judges 11:20 ============ Jdg 11:20 But Sihon trusted not Israel to pass through his coast: but Sihon gathered all his people together, and pitched in Jahaz, and fought against Israel.(KJV) Judges 11:20 But Sihon consented not to Israel, that he shoulde goe through his coast: but Sihon gathered all his people together, and pitched in Iahaz, and fought with Israel.(Geneva) Juges 11:20 Mais Sihon n'eut pas assez confiance en Israël pour le laisser passer sur son territoire; il rassembla tout son peuple, campa à Jahats, et combattit Israël.(FR) 20 ׃11 וְלֹא־הֶאֱמִ֨ין סִיח֤וֹן אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ עֲבֹ֣ר בִּגְבֻל֔וֹ וַיֶּאֱסֹ֤ף סִיחוֹן֙ אֶת־כָּל־עַמּ֔וֹ וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּ בְּיָ֑הְצָה וַיִלָּ֖חֶם עִם־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Judges Jdg 11:20 But Sihon did not trust Israel to pass through his territory; so Sihon gathered all his people and camped in Jahaz and fought with Israel.(nasb) ======= Judges 11:21 ============ Jdg 11:21 And the LORD God of Israel delivered Sihon and all his people into the hand of Israel, and they smote them: so Israel possessed all the land of the Amorites, the inhabitants of that country.(KJV) Judges 11:21 And the Lorde God of Israel gaue Sihon and all his folke into the handes of Israel, & they smote them: so Israel possessed all the lande of the Amorites, the inhabitants of that countrey:(Geneva) Juges 11:21 L'Eternel, le Dieu d'Israël, livra Sihon et tout son peuple entre les mains d'Israël, qui les battit. Thus the children of Ammon were subdued before the children of Israel.(KJV) Judges 11:33 And he smote them from Aroer euen till thou come to Minnith, twentie cities, and so foorth to Abel of the vineyardes, with an exceeding great slaughter. So the sons of Ammon were subdued before the sons of Israel.(nasb) ======= Judges 11:34 ============ Jdg 11:34 And Jephthah came to Mizpeh unto his house, and, behold, his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels and with dances: and she was his only child; beside her he had neither son nor daughter.(KJV) Judges 11:34 Nowe when Iphtah came to Mizpeh vnto his house, beholde, his daughter came out to meete him with timbrels and daunces, which was his onely childe: he had none other sonne, nor daughter.(Geneva) Juges 11:34 Jephthé retourna dans sa maison à Mitspa. Now she was his one and only child; besides her he had no son or daughter.(nasb) ======= Judges 11:35 ============ Jdg 11:35 And it came to pass, when he saw her, that he rent his clothes, and said, Alas, my daughter! thou hast brought me very low, and thou art one of them that trouble me: for I have opened my mouth unto the LORD, and I cannot go back.(KJV) Judges 11:35 And when hee sawe her, hee rent his clothes, and saide, Alas my daughter, thou hast brought me lowe, and art of them that trouble me: for I haue opened my mouth vnto the Lord, and can not goe backe.(Geneva) Juges 11:35 Dès qu'il la vit, il déchira ses vêtements, et dit: Ah! ma fille! tu me jettes dans l'abattement, tu es au nombre de ceux qui me troublent! J'ai fait un voeu à l'Eternel, et je ne puis le révoquer.(FR) 35 ׃11 וַיְהִי֩ כִרְאוֹת֨וֹ אוֹתָ֜הּ וַיִּקְרַ֣ע אֶת־בְּגָדָ֗יו וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ אֲהָ֤הּ בִּתִּי֙ הַכְרֵ֣עַ הִכְרַעְתִּ֔נִי וְאַ֖תְּ הָיִ֣יתְ בְּעֹֽכְרָ֑י וְאָנֹכִ֗י פָּצִ֤יתִי־פִי֙ אֶל־יְהוָ֔ה וְלֹ֥א אוּכַ֖ל לָשֽׁוּב׃ Judges Jdg 11:35 When he saw her, he tore his clothes and said, "Alas, my daughter! You have brought me very low, and you are among those who trouble me; for I have given my word to the Lord, and I cannot take it back."(nasb) ======= Judges 11:36 ============ Jdg 11:36 And she said unto him, My father, if thou hast opened thy mouth unto the LORD, do to me according to that which hath proceeded out of thy mouth; forasmuch as the LORD hath taken vengeance for thee of thine enemies, even of the children of Ammon.(KJV) Judges 11:36 And she said vnto him, My father, if thou hast opened thy mouth vnto the Lorde, doe with me as thou hast promised, seeing that the Lorde hath auenged thee of thine enemies the children of Ammon.(Geneva) Juges 11:36 Elle lui dit: Mon père, si tu as fait un voeu à l'Eternel, traite-moi selon ce qui est sorti de ta bouche, maintenant que l'Eternel t'a vengé de tes ennemis, des fils d'Ammon.(FR) 36 ׃11 וַתֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלָ֗יו אָבִי֙ פָּצִ֤יתָה אֶת־פִּ֙יךָ֙ אֶל־יְהוָ֔ה עֲשֵׂ֣ה לִ֔י כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר יָצָ֣א מִפִּ֑יךָ אַחֲרֵ֡י אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָׂה֩ לְךָ֙ יְהוָ֧ה נְקָמ֛וֹת מֵאֹיְבֶ֖יךָ מִבְּנֵ֥י עַמּֽוֹן׃ Judges Jdg 11:36 So she said to him, "My father, you have given your word to the Lord; do to me as you have said, since the Lord has avenged you of your enemies, the sons of Ammon."(nasb) ======= Judges 11:37 ============ Jdg 11:37 And she said unto her father, Let this thing be done for me: let me alone two months, that I may go up and down upon the mountains, and bewail my virginity, I and my fellows.(KJV) Judges 11:37 Also she saide vnto her father, Doe thus much for me: suffer me two moneths, that I may goe to the mountaines, and bewaile my virginitie, I and my fellowes.(Geneva) Juges 11:37 Et elle dit à son père: Que ceci me soit accordé: laisse-moi libre pendant deux mois! Je m'en irai, je descendrai dans les montagnes, et je pleurerai ma virginité avec mes compagnes.(FR) 37 ׃11 וַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙ אֶל־אָבִ֔יהָ יֵעָ֥שֶׂה לִּ֖י הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֑ה הַרְפֵּ֨ה מִמֶּ֜נִּי שְׁנַ֣יִם חֳדָשִׁ֗ים וְאֵֽלְכָה֙ וְיָרַדְתִּ֣י עַל־הֶֽהָרִ֔ים וְאֶבְכֶּה֙ עַל־בְּתוּלַ֔י אָנֹכִ֖י *ורעיתי **וְרֵעוֹתָֽי׃ Judges Jdg 11:37 She said to her father, "Let this thing be done for me; let me alone two months, that I may go to the mountains and weep because of my virginity, I and my companions."(nasb) ======= Judges 11:38 ============ Jdg 11:38 And he said, Go. And he sent her away for two months: and she went with her companions, and bewailed her virginity upon the mountains.(KJV) Judges 11:38 And he sayde, Goe: and he sent her away two moneths: so she went with her companions, and lamented her virginitie vpon the moutaines.(Geneva) Juges 11:38 Il répondit: Va! Et il la laissa libre pour deux mois. So he sent her away for two months; and she left with her companions, and wept on the mountains because of her virginity.(nasb) ======= Judges 11:39 ============ Jdg 11:39 And it came to pass at the end of two months, that she returned unto her father, who did with her according to his vow which he had vowed: and she knew no man. And it was a custom in Israel,(KJV) Judges 11:39 And after the ende of two moneths, she turned againe vnto her father, who did with her according to his vowe which he had vowed, and she had knowen no man; it was a custome in Israel:(Geneva) Juges 11:39 Au bout des deux mois, elle revint vers son père, et il accomplit sur elle le voeu qu'il avait fait. Elle n'avait point connu d'homme. Dès lors s'établit en Israël la coutume(FR) 39 ׃11 וַיְהִ֞י מִקֵּ֣ץ ׀ שְׁנַ֣יִם חֳדָשִׁ֗ים וַתָּ֙שָׁב֙ אֶל־אָבִ֔יהָ וַיַּ֣עַשׂ לָ֔הּ אֶת־נִדְר֖וֹ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נָדָ֑ר וְהִיא֙ לֹא־יָדְעָ֣ה אִ֔ישׁ וַתְּהִי־חֹ֖ק בְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Judges Jdg 11:39 At the end of two months she returned to her father, who did to her according to the vow which he had made; and she had no relations with a man. Thus it became a custom in Israel,(nasb) ======= Judges 11:40 ============ Jdg 11:40 That the daughters of Israel went yearly to lament the daughter of Jephthah the Gileadite four days in a year.(kjv) Judges 11:40 The daughters of Israel went yere by yere to lament the daughter of Iphtah the Gileadite, foure dayes in a yeere.(Geneva) Juges 11:40 que tous les ans les filles d'Israël s'en vont célébrer la fille de Jephthé, le Galaadite, quatre jours par année.(FR) 40 ׃11 מִיָּמִ֣ים ׀ יָמִ֗ימָה תֵּלַ֙כְנָה֙ בְּנ֣וֹת יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לְתַנּ֕וֹת לְבַת־יִפְתָּ֖ח הַגִּלְעָדִ֑י אַרְבַּ֥עַת יָמִ֖ים בַּשָּׁנָֽה׃ ס Judges Jdg 11:40 that the daughters of Israel went yearly to commemorate the daughter of Jephthah the Gileadite four days in the year.
