Today's Date: ======= Judges 13:1 ============ Jdg 13:1 And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD delivered them into the hand of the Philistines forty years.(KJV) Judges 13:1 Bvt the children of Israel continued to commit wickednesse in the sight of the Lorde, and the Lorde deliuerd them into the handes of the Philistims fourtie yeere.(Geneva) Juges 13:1 Les enfants d'Israël firent encore ce qui déplaît à l'Eternel; et l'Eternel les livra entre les mains des Philistins, pendant quarante ans.(FR) 1 ׃13 וַיֹּסִ֙פוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת הָרַ֖ע בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וַיִּתְּנֵ֧ם יְהוָ֛ה בְּיַד־פְּלִשְׁתִּ֖ים אַרְבָּעִ֥ים שָׁנָֽה׃ פ Judges Jdg 13:1 Now the sons of Israel again did evil in the sight of the Lord, so that the Lord gave them into the hands of the Philistines forty years.(nasb) ======= Judges 13:2 ============ Jdg 13:2 And there was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren, and bare not.(KJV) Judges 13:2 Then there was a man in Zorah of the familie of the Danites, named Manoah, whose wife was baren, and bare not.(Geneva) Juges 13:2 Il y avait un homme de Tsorea, de la famille des Danites, et qui s'appelait Manoach. Sa femme était stérile, et n'enfantait pas.(FR) 2 ׃13 וַיְהִי֩ אִ֨ישׁ אֶחָ֧ד מִצָּרְעָ֛ה מִמִּשְׁפַּ֥חַת הַדָּנִ֖י וּשְׁמ֣וֹ מָנ֑וֹחַ וְאִשְׁתּ֥וֹ עֲקָרָ֖ה וְלֹ֥א יָלָֽדָה׃ Judges Jdg 13:2 There was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren and had borne no children.(nasb) ======= Judges 13:3 ============ Jdg 13:3 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son.(KJV) Judges 13:3 And the Angel of the Lorde appeared vnto the woman, and said vnto her, Beholde nowe, thou art baren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceiue, and beare a sonne.(Geneva) Juges 13:3 Un ange de l'Eternel apparut à la femme, et lui dit: Voici, tu es stérile, et tu n'as point d'enfants; tu deviendras enceinte, et tu enfanteras un fils.(FR) 3 ׃13 וַיֵּרָ֥א מַלְאַךְ־יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־הָאִשָּׁ֑ה וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלֶ֗יהָ הִנֵּה־נָ֤א אַתְּ־עֲקָרָה֙ וְלֹ֣א יָלַ֔דְתְּ וְהָרִ֖ית וְיָלַ֥דְתְּ בֵּֽן׃ Judges Jdg 13:3 Then the angel of the Lord appeared to the woman and said to her, "Behold now, you are barren and have borne no children, but you shall conceive and give birth to a son.(nasb) ======= Judges 13:4 ============ Jdg 13:4 Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing:(KJV) Judges 13:4 And nowe therefore beware that thou drinke no wine, nor strong drinke, neither eate any vncleane thing.(Geneva) Juges 13:4 Maintenant prends bien garde, ne bois ni vin ni liqueur forte, et ne mange rien d'impur.(FR) 4 ׃13 וְעַתָּה֙ הִשָּׁ֣מְרִי נָ֔א וְאַל־תִּשְׁתִּ֖י יַ֣יִן וְשֵׁכָ֑ר וְאַל־תֹּאכְלִ֖י כָּל־טָמֵֽא׃ Judges Jdg 13:4 Now therefore, be careful not to drink wine or strong drink, nor eat any unclean thing.(nasb) ======= Judges 13:5 ============ Jdg 13:5 For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.(KJV) Judges 13:5 For loe, thou shalt conceiue and beare a sonne, and no rasor shall come on his head: for the childe shall be a Nazarite vnto God from his birth: and he shall begin to saue Israel out of the handes of the Philistims.(Geneva) Juges 13:5 Car tu vas devenir enceinte et tu enfanteras un fils. Le rasoir ne passera point sur sa tête, parce que cet enfant sera consacré à Dieu dès le ventre de sa mère; et ce sera lui qui commencera à délivrer Israël de la main des Philistins.(FR) 5 ׃13 כִּי֩ הִנָּ֨ךְ הָרָ֜ה וְיֹלַ֣דְתְּ בֵּ֗ן וּמוֹרָה֙ לֹא־יַעֲלֶ֣ה עַל־רֹאשׁ֔וֹ כִּֽי־נְזִ֧יר אֱלֹהִ֛ים יִהְיֶ֥ה הַנַּ֖עַר מִן־הַבָּ֑טֶן וְה֗וּא יָחֵ֛ל לְהוֹשִׁ֥יעַ אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מִיַּ֥ד פְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃ Judges Jdg 13:5 For behold, you shall conceive and give birth to a son, and no razor shall come upon his head, for the boy shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb; and he shall begin to deliver Israel from the hands of the Philistines."(nasb) ======= Judges 13:6 ============ Jdg 13:6 Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, A man of God came unto me, and his countenance was like the countenance of an angel of God, very terrible: but I asked him not whence he was, neither told he me his name:(KJV) Judges 13:6 Then the wife came, and tolde her husband, saying, A man of God came vnto me, and the facion of him was like the facion of the Angel of God exceeding feareful, but I asked him not whence he was, neither told he me his name,(Geneva) Juges 13:6 La femme alla dire à son mari; Un homme de Dieu est venu vers moi, et il avait l'aspect d'un ange de Dieu, un aspect redoutable. Je ne lui ai pas demandé d'où il était, et il ne m'a pas fait connaître son nom.(FR) 6 ׃13 וַתָּבֹ֣א הָאִשָּׁ֗ה וַתֹּ֣אמֶר לְאִישָׁהּ֮ לֵאמֹר֒ אִ֤ישׁ הָאֱלֹהִים֙ בָּ֣א אֵלַ֔י וּמַרְאֵ֕הוּ כְּמַרְאֵ֛ה מַלְאַ֥ךְ הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים נוֹרָ֣א מְאֹ֑ד וְלֹ֤א שְׁאִלְתִּ֙יהוּ֙ אֵֽי־מִזֶּ֣ה ה֔וּא וְאֶת־שְׁמ֖וֹ לֹֽא־הִגִּ֥יד לִֽי׃ Judges Jdg 13:6 Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, "A man of God came to me and his appearance was like the appearance of the angel of God, very awesome. And I did not ask him where he came from, nor did he tell me his name.(nasb) ======= Judges 13:7 ============ Jdg 13:7 But he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death.(KJV) Judges 13:7 But he saide vnto me, Beholde, thou shalt conceiue, and beare a sonne, and nowe thou shalt drinke no wine, nor strong drinke, neither eate any vncleane thing: for the childe shalbe a Nazarite to God from his birth to the day of his death.(Geneva) Juges 13:7 Mais il m'a dit: Tu vas devenir enceinte, et tu enfanteras un fils; et maintenant ne bois ni vin ni liqueur forte, et ne mange rien d'impur, parce que cet enfant sera consacré à Dieu dès le ventre de sa mère jusqu'au jour de sa mort.(FR) 7 ׃13 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לִ֔י הִנָּ֥ךְ הָרָ֖ה וְיֹלַ֣דְתְּ בֵּ֑ן וְעַתָּ֞ה אַל־תִּשְׁתִּ֣י ׀ יַ֣יִן וְשֵׁכָ֗ר וְאַל־תֹּֽאכְלִי֙ כָּל־טֻמְאָ֔ה כִּֽי־נְזִ֤יר אֱלֹהִים֙ יִהְיֶ֣ה הַנַּ֔עַר מִן־הַבֶּ֖טֶן עַד־י֥וֹם מוֹתֽוֹ׃ פ Judges Jdg 13:7 But he said to me, 'Behold, you shall conceive and give birth to a son, and now you shall not drink wine or strong drink nor eat any unclean thing, for the boy shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb to the day of his death.'"(nasb) ======= Judges 13:8 ============ Jdg 13:8 Then Manoah intreated the LORD, and said, O my Lord, let the man of God which thou didst send come again unto us, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born.(KJV) Judges 13:8 Then Manoah prayed to the Lorde and saide, I pray thee, my Lorde, Let the man of God, whome thou sentest, come againe nowe vnto vs, and teach vs what we shall doe vnto the child when he is borne.(Geneva) Juges 13:8 Manoach fit cette prière à l'Eternel: Ah! Seigneur, que l'homme de Dieu que tu as envoyé vienne encore vers nous, et qu'il nous enseigne ce que nous devons faire pour l'enfant qui naîtra!(FR) 8 ׃13 וַיֶּעְתַּ֥ר מָנ֛וֹחַ אֶל־יְהוָ֖ה וַיֹּאמַ֑ר בִּ֣י אֲדוֹנָ֔י אִ֣ישׁ הָאֱלֹהִ֞ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר שָׁלַ֗חְתָּ יָבוֹא־נָ֥א עוֹד֙ אֵלֵ֔ינוּ וְיוֹרֵ֕נוּ מַֽה־נַּעֲשֶׂ֖ה לַנַּ֥עַר הַיּוּלָּֽד׃ Judges Jdg 13:8 Then Manoah entreated the Lord and said, "O Lord, please let the man of God whom You have sent come to us again that he may teach us what to do for the boy who is to be born."(nasb) ======= Judges 13:9 ============ Jdg 13:9 And God hearkened to the voice of Manoah; and the angel of God came again unto the woman as she sat in the field: but Manoah her husband was not with her.(KJV) Judges 13:9 And God heard the voyce of Manoah, and the Angel of God came againe vnto the wife, as she sate in the fielde, but Manoah her husbande was not with her.(Geneva) Juges 13:9 Dieu exauça la prière de Manoach, et l'ange de Dieu vint encore vers la femme. Elle était assise dans un champ, et Manoach, son mari, n'était pas avec elle.(FR) 9 ׃13 וַיִּשְׁמַ֥ע הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים בְּק֣וֹל מָנ֑וֹחַ וַיָּבֹ֣א מַלְאַךְ֩ הָאֱלֹהִ֨ים ע֜וֹד אֶל־הָאִשָּׁ֗ה וְהִיא֙ יוֹשֶׁ֣בֶת בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה וּמָנ֥וֹחַ אִישָׁ֖הּ אֵ֥ין עִמָּֽהּ׃ Judges Jdg 13:9 God listened to the voice of Manoah; and the angel of God came again to the woman as she was sitting in the field, but Manoah her husband was not with her.(nasb) ======= Judges 13:10 ============ Jdg 13:10 And the woman made haste, and ran, and shewed her husband, and said unto him, Behold, the man hath appeared unto me, that came unto me the other day.(KJV) Judges 13:10 And the wife made haste and ranne, and shewed her husbande and sayde vnto him, Behold, the man hath appeared vnto me, that came vnto me to day.(Geneva) Juges 13:10 Elle courut promptement donner cette nouvelle à son mari, et lui dit: Voici, l'homme qui était venu l'autre jour vers moi m'est apparu.(FR) 10 ׃13 וַתְּמַהֵר֙ הָֽאִשָּׁ֔ה וַתָּ֖רָץ וַתַּגֵּ֣ד לְאִישָׁ֑הּ וַתֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלָ֔יו הִנֵּ֨ה נִרְאָ֤ה אֵלַי֙ הָאִ֔ישׁ אֲשֶׁר־בָּ֥א בַיּ֖וֹם אֵלָֽי׃ Judges Jdg 13:10 So the woman ran quickly and told her husband, "Behold, the man who came the other day has appeared to me."(nasb) ======= Judges 13:11 ============ Jdg 13:11 And Manoah arose, and went after his wife, and came to the man, and said unto him, Art thou the man that spakest unto the woman? And he said, I am.(KJV) Judges 13:11 And Manoah arose & went after his wife, and came to the man, and saide vnto him, Art thou the man that spakest vnto the woman? and he said, Yea.(Geneva) Juges 13:11 Manoach se leva, suivit sa femme, alla vers l'homme, et lui dit: Est-ce toi qui as parlé à cette femme? Il répondit: C'est moi.(FR) 11 ׃13 וַיָּ֛קָם וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ מָנ֖וֹחַ אַחֲרֵ֣י אִשְׁתּ֑וֹ וַיָּבֹא֙ אֶל־הָאִ֔ישׁ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ל֗וֹ הַאַתָּ֥ה הָאִ֛ישׁ אֲשֶׁר־דִּבַּ֥רְתָּ אֶל־הָאִשָּׁ֖ה וַיֹּ֥אמֶר אָֽנִי׃ Judges Jdg 13:11 Then Manoah arose and followed his wife, and when he came to the man he said to him, "Are you the man who spoke to the woman?" And he said, "I am."(nasb) ======= Judges 13:12 ============ Jdg 13:12 And Manoah said, Now let thy words come to pass. How shall we order the child, and how shall we do unto him?(KJV) Judges 13:12 Then Manoah sayde, Nowe let thy saying come to passe: but howe shall we order the childe and doe vnto him?(Geneva) Juges 13:12 Manoach dit: Maintenant, si ta parole s'accomplit, que faudra-t-il observer à l'égard de l'enfant, et qu'y aura-t-il à faire?(FR) 12 ׃13 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר מָנ֔וֹחַ עַתָּ֖ה יָבֹ֣א דְבָרֶ֑יךָ מַה־יִּֽהְיֶ֥ה מִשְׁפַּט־הַנַּ֖עַר וּמַעֲשֵֽׂהוּ׃ Judges Jdg 13:12 Manoah said, "Now when your words come to pass, what shall be the boy's mode of life and his vocation?"(nasb) ======= Judges 13:13 ============ Jdg 13:13 And the angel of the LORD said unto Manoah, Of all that I said unto the woman let her beware.(KJV) Judges 13:13 And the Angell of the Lorde saide vnto Manoah, The woman must beware of all that I said vnto her.(Geneva) Juges 13:13 L'ange de l'Eternel répondit à Manoach: La femme s'abstiendra de tout ce que je lui ai dit.(FR) 13 ׃13 וַיֹּ֛אמֶר מַלְאַ֥ךְ יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מָנ֑וֹחַ מִכֹּ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־אָמַ֥רְתִּי אֶל־הָאִשָּׁ֖ה תִּשָּׁמֵֽר׃ Judges Jdg 13:13 So the angel of the Lord said to Manoah, "Let the woman pay attention to all that I said.(nasb) ======= Judges 13:14 ============ Jdg 13:14 She may not eat of any thing that cometh of the vine, neither let her drink wine or strong drink, nor eat any unclean thing: all that I commanded her let her observe.(KJV) Judges 13:14 She may eate of nothing that commeth of the vinetree: she shal not drinke wine nor strong drinke, nor eate any vncleane thing: let her obserue all that I haue commanded her.(Geneva) Juges 13:14 Elle ne goûtera d'aucun produit de la vigne, elle ne boira ni vin ni liqueur forte, et elle ne mangera rien d'impur; elle observera tout ce que je lui ai prescrit.(FR) 14 ׃13 מִכֹּ֣ל אֲשֶׁר־יֵצֵא֩ מִגֶּ֨פֶן הַיַּ֜יִן לֹ֣א תֹאכַ֗ל וְיַ֤יִן וְשֵׁכָר֙ אַל־תֵּ֔שְׁתְּ וְכָל־טֻמְאָ֖ה אַל־תֹּאכַ֑ל כֹּ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־צִוִּיתִ֖יהָ תִּשְׁמֹֽר׃ Judges Jdg 13:14 She should not eat anything that comes from the vine nor drink wine or strong drink, nor eat any unclean thing; let her observe all that I commanded."(nasb) ======= Judges 13:15 ============ Jdg 13:15 And Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, I pray thee, let us detain thee, until we shall have made ready a kid for thee.(KJV) Judges 13:15 Manoah then said vnto the Angell of the Lorde, I pray thee, let vs reteine thee, vntill we haue made readie a kid for thee.(Geneva) Juges 13:15 Manoach dit à l'ange de l'Eternel: Permets-nous de te retenir, et de t'apprêter un chevreau.(FR) 15 ׃13 וַיֹּ֥אמֶר מָנ֖וֹחַ אֶל־מַלְאַ֣ךְ יְהוָ֑ה נַעְצְרָה־נָּ֣א אוֹתָ֔ךְ וְנַעֲשֶׂ֥ה לְפָנֶ֖יךָ גְּדִ֥י עִזִּֽים׃ Judges Jdg 13:15 Then Manoah said to the angel of the Lord, "Please let us detain you so that we may prepare a young goat for you."(nasb) ======= Judges 13:16 ============ Jdg 13:16 And the angel of the LORD said unto Manoah, Though thou detain me, I will not eat of thy bread: and if thou wilt offer a burnt offering, thou must offer it unto the LORD. For Manoah knew not that he was an angel of the LORD.(KJV) Judges 13:16 And the Angel of the Lord said vnto Manoah, Though thou make me abide, I will not eate of thy bread, and if thou wilt make a burnt offring, offer it vnto the Lorde: for Manoah knewe not that it was an Angel of the Lorde.(Geneva) Juges 13:16 L'ange de l'Eternel répondit à Manoach: Quand tu me retiendrais, je ne mangerais pas de ton mets; mais si tu veux faire un holocauste, tu l'offriras à l'Eternel. Manoach ne savait point que ce fût un ange de l'Eternel.(FR) 16 ׃13 וַיֹּאמֶר֩ מַלְאַ֨ךְ יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־מָנ֗וֹחַ אִם־תַּעְצְרֵ֙נִי֙ לֹא־אֹכַ֣ל בְּלַחְמֶ֔ךָ וְאִם־תַּעֲשֶׂ֣ה עֹלָ֔ה לַיהוָ֖ה תַּעֲלֶ֑נָּה כִּ֚י לֹא־יָדַ֣ע מָנ֔וֹחַ כִּֽי־מַלְאַ֥ךְ יְהוָ֖ה הֽוּא׃ Judges Jdg 13:16 The angel of the Lord said to Manoah, "Though you detain me, I will not eat your food, but if you prepare a burnt offering, then offer it to the Lord." For Manoah did not know that he was the angel of the Lord.(nasb) ======= Judges 13:17 ============ Jdg 13:17 And Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, What is thy name, that when thy sayings come to pass we may do thee honour?(KJV) Judges 13:17 Againe Manoah said vnto the Angell of the Lorde, What is thy name, that when thy saying is come to passe, we may honour thee?(Geneva) Juges 13:17 Et Manoach dit à l'ange de l'Eternel: Quel est ton nom, afin que nous te rendions gloire, quand ta parole s'accomplira?(FR) 17 ׃13 וַיֹּ֧אמֶר מָנ֛וֹחַ אֶל־מַלְאַ֥ךְ יְהוָ֖ה מִ֣י שְׁמֶ֑ךָ כִּֽי־יָבֹ֥א *דבריך **דְבָרְךָ֖ וְכִבַּדְנֽוּךָ׃ Judges Jdg 13:17 Manoah said to the angel of the Lord, "What is your name, so that when your words come to pass, we may honor you?"(nasb) ======= Judges 13:18 ============ Jdg 13:18 And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Why askest thou thus after my name, seeing it is secret?(KJV) Judges 13:18 And the Angell of the Lorde saide vnto him, Why askest thou thus after my name, which is secret?(Geneva) Juges 13:18 L'ange de l'Eternel lui répondit: Pourquoi demandes-tu mon nom? Il est merveilleux.(FR) 18 ׃13 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לּוֹ֙ מַלְאַ֣ךְ יְהוָ֔ה לָ֥מָּה זֶּ֖ה תִּשְׁאַ֣ל לִשְׁמִ֑י וְהוּא־פֶ֛[t]לִאי׃ ס Judges Jdg 13:18 But the angel of the Lord said to him, "Why do you ask my name, seeing it is wonderful?"(nasb) ======= Judges 13:19 ============ Jdg 13:19 So Manoah took a kid with a meat offering, and offered it upon a rock unto the LORD: and the angel did wonderously; and Manoah and his wife looked on.(KJV) Judges 13:19 Then Manoah tooke a kid with a meate offering, and offered it vpon a stone vnto the Lorde: and the Angell did wonderously, whiles Manoah and his wife looked on.(Geneva) Juges 13:19 Manoach prit le chevreau et l'offrande, et fit un sacrifice à l'Eternel sur le rocher. Il s'opéra un prodige, pendant que Manoach et sa femme regardaient.(FR) 19 ׃13 וַיִּקַּ֨ח מָנ֜וֹחַ אֶת־גְּדִ֤י הָעִזִּים֙ וְאֶת־הַמִּנְחָ֔ה וַיַּ֥עַל עַל־הַצּ֖וּר לַֽיהוָ֑ה וּמַפְלִ֣א לַעֲשׂ֔וֹת וּמָנ֥וֹחַ וְאִשְׁתּ֖וֹ רֹאִֽים׃ Judges Jdg 13:19 So Manoah took the young goat with the grain offering and offered it on the rock to the Lord, and He performed wonders while Manoah and his wife looked on.(nasb) ======= Judges 13:20 ============ Jdg 13:20 For it came to pass, when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the angel of the LORD ascended in the flame of the altar. And Manoah and his wife looked on it, and fell on their faces to the ground.(KJV) Judges 13:20 For when the flame came vp toward heauen from the altar, the Angel of the Lorde ascended vp in the flame of the altar, and Manoah and his wife behelde it, and fell on their faces vnto the grounde.(Geneva) Juges 13:20 Comme la flamme montait de dessus l'autel vers le ciel, l'ange de l'Eternel monta dans la flamme de l'autel. A cette vue, Manoach et sa femme tombèrent la face contre terre.(FR) 20 ׃13 וַיְהִי֩ בַעֲל֨וֹת הַלַּ֜הַב מֵעַ֤ל הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ הַשָּׁמַ֔יְמָה וַיַּ֥עַל מַלְאַךְ־יְהוָ֖ה בְּלַ֣הַב הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ וּמָנ֤וֹחַ וְאִשְׁתּוֹ֙ רֹאִ֔ים וַיִּפְּל֥וּ עַל־פְּנֵיהֶ֖ם אָֽרְצָה׃ Judges Jdg 13:20 For it came about when the flame went up from the altar toward heaven, that the angel of the Lord ascended in the flame of the altar. When Manoah and his wife saw this, they fell on their faces to the ground.(nasb) ======= Judges 13:21 ============ Jdg 13:21 But the angel of the LORD did no more appear to Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he was an angel of the LORD.(KJV) Judges 13:21 (So the Angel of the Lorde did no more appeare vnto Manoah and his wife.) Then Manoah knewe that it was an Angel of the Lord.(Geneva) Juges 13:21 L'ange de l'Eternel n'apparut plus à Manoach et à sa femme. Alors Manoach comprit que c'était l'ange de l'Eternel,(FR) 21 ׃13 וְלֹא־יָ֤סַף עוֹד֙ מַלְאַ֣ךְ יְהוָ֔ה לְהֵרָאֹ֖ה אֶל־מָנ֣וֹחַ וְאֶל־אִשְׁתּ֑וֹ אָ֚ז יָדַ֣ע מָנ֔וֹחַ כִּֽי־מַלְאַ֥ךְ יְהוָ֖ה הֽוּא׃ Judges Jdg 13:21 Now the angel of the Lord did not appear to Manoah or his wife again. Then Manoah knew that he was the angel of the Lord.(nasb) ======= Judges 13:22 ============ Jdg 13:22 And Manoah said unto his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen God.(KJV) Judges 13:22 And Manoah said vnto his wife, We shal surely dye, because we haue seene God.(Geneva) Juges 13:22 et il dit à sa femme: Nous allons mourir, car nous avons vu Dieu.(FR) 22 ׃13 וַיֹּ֧אמֶר מָנ֛וֹחַ אֶל־אִשְׁתּ֖וֹ מ֣וֹת נָמ֑וּת כִּ֥י אֱלֹהִ֖ים רָאִֽינוּ׃ Judges Jdg 13:22 So Manoah said to his wife, "We will surely die, for we have seen God."(nasb) ======= Judges 13:23 ============ Jdg 13:23 But his wife said unto him, If the LORD were pleased to kill us, he would not have received a burnt offering and a meat offering at our hands, neither would he have shewed us all these things, nor would as at this time have told us such things as these.(KJV) Judges 13:23 But his wife saide vnto him, If the Lorde woulde kill vs, he woulde not haue receiued a burnt offring, and a meate offring of our hands, neither would he haue shewed vs all these things, nor would now haue tolde vs any such.(Geneva) Juges 13:23 Sa femme lui répondit: Si l'Eternel eût voulu nous faire mourir, il n'aurait pas pris de nos mains l'holocauste et l'offrande, il ne nous aurait pas fait voir tout cela, et il ne nous aurait pas maintenant fait entendre pareilles choses.(FR) 23 ׃13 וַתֹּ֧אמֶר ל֣וֹ אִשְׁתּ֗וֹ לוּ֩ חָפֵ֨ץ יְהוָ֤ה לַהֲמִיתֵ֙נוּ֙ לֹֽא־לָקַ֤ח מִיָּדֵ֙נוּ֙ עֹלָ֣ה וּמִנְחָ֔ה וְלֹ֥א הֶרְאָ֖נוּ אֶת־כָּל־אֵ֑לֶּה וְכָעֵ֕ת לֹ֥א הִשְׁמִיעָ֖נוּ כָּזֹֽאת׃ Judges Jdg 13:23 But his wife said to him, "If the Lord had desired to kill us, He would not have accepted a burnt offering and a grain offering from our hands, nor would He have shown us all these things, nor would He have let us hear things like this at this time."(nasb) ======= Judges 13:24 ============ Jdg 13:24 And the woman bare a son, and called his name Samson: and the child grew, and the LORD blessed him.(KJV) Judges 13:24 And the wife bare a sonne, and called his name Samson: and the childe grewe, and the Lorde blessed him.(Geneva) Juges 13:24 La femme enfanta un fils, et lui donna le nom de Samson. L'enfant grandit, et l'Eternel le bénit.(FR) 24 ׃13 וַתֵּ֤לֶד הָֽאִשָּׁה֙ בֵּ֔ן וַתִּקְרָ֥א אֶת־שְׁמ֖וֹ שִׁמְשׁ֑וֹן וַיִּגְדַּ֣ל הַנַּ֔עַר וַֽיְבָרְכֵ֖הוּ יְהוָֽה׃ Judges Jdg 13:24 Then the woman gave birth to a son and named him Samson; and the child grew up and the Lord blessed him.(nasb) ======= Judges 13:25 ============ Jdg 13:25 And the Spirit of the LORD began to move him at times in the camp of Dan between Zorah and Eshtaol.(kjv) Judges 13:25 And the Spirite of the Lorde beganne to strengthen him in the host of Dan, betweene Zorah, and Eshtaol.(Geneva) Juges 13:25 Et l'esprit de l'Eternel commença à l'agiter à Machané-Dan, entre Tsorea et Eschthaol.(FR) 25 ׃13 וַתָּ֙חֶל֙ ר֣וּחַ יְהוָ֔ה לְפַעֲמ֖וֹ בְּמַחֲנֵה־דָ֑ן בֵּ֥ין צָרְעָ֖ה וּבֵ֥ין אֶשְׁתָּאֹֽל׃ פ Judges Jdg 13:25 And the Spirit of the Lord began to stir him in Mahaneh-dan, between Zorah and Eshtaol. (nasb) ======= Judges 14:1 ============ Jdg 14:1 And Samson went down to Timnath, and saw a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines.(KJV) Judges 14:1 Nowe Samson went downe to Timnath, and saw a woma in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistims,(Geneva) Juges 14:1 Samson descendit à Thimna, et il y vit une femme parmi les filles des Philistins.(FR) |
