Today's Date: ======= Judges 17:1 ============ Jdg 17:1 And there was a man of mount Ephraim, whose name was Micah.(KJV) Judges 17:1 There was a man of mount Ephraim, whose name was Michah,(Geneva) Juges 17:1 Il y avait un homme de la montagne d'Ephraïm, nommé Mica.(FR) 1 ׃17 וַֽיְהִי־אִ֥ישׁ מֵֽהַר־אֶפְרָ֖יִם וּשְׁמ֥וֹ מִיכָֽיְהוּ׃ Judges Jdg 17:1 Now there was a man of the hill country of Ephraim whose name was Micah.(nasb) ======= Judges 17:2 ============ Jdg 17:2 And he said unto his mother, The eleven hundred shekels of silver that were taken from thee, about which thou cursedst, and spakest of also in mine ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it. And his mother said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my son.(KJV) Judges 17:2 And he saide vnto his mother, The eleuen hundreth shekels of siluer that were taken from thee, for the which thou cursedst, and spakedst it, euen in mine hearing, beholde, the siluer is with me, I tooke it. Then his mother saide, Blessed be my sonne of the Lorde.(Geneva) Juges 17:2 Il dit à sa mère: Les mille et cent sicles d'argent qu'on t'a pris, et pour lesquels tu as fait des imprécations même à mes oreilles, voici, cet argent est entre mes mains, c'est moi qui l'avais pris. Et sa mère dit: Béni soit mon fils par l'Eternel!(FR) 2 ׃17 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לְאִמּ֡וֹ אֶלֶף֩ וּמֵאָ֨ה הַכֶּ֜סֶף אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֻֽקַּֽח־לָ֗ךְ *ואתי **וְאַ֤תְּ אָלִית֙ וְגַם֙ אָמַ֣רְתְּ בְּאָזְנַ֔י הִנֵּֽה־הַכֶּ֥סֶף אִתִּ֖י אֲנִ֣י לְקַחְתִּ֑יו וַתֹּ֣אמֶר אִמּ֔וֹ בָּר֥וּךְ בְּנִ֖י לַיהוָֽה׃ Judges Jdg 17:2 He said to his mother, "The eleven hundred pieces of silver which were taken from you, about which you uttered a curse in my hearing, behold, the silver is with me; I took it." And his mother said, "Blessed be my son by the Lord."(nasb) ======= Judges 17:3 ============ Jdg 17:3 And when he had restored the eleven hundred shekels of silver to his mother, his mother said, I had wholly dedicated the silver unto the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten image: now therefore I will restore it unto thee.(KJV) Judges 17:3 And when he had restored the eleuen hundreth shekels of siluer to his mother, his mother sayd, I had dedicate the siluer to the Lord of mine hand for my sonne, to make a grauen and molten image. Now therfore I will giue it thee again.(Geneva) Juges 17:3 Il rendit à sa mère les mille et cent sicles d'argent; et sa mère dit: Je consacre de ma main cet argent à l'Eternel, afin d'en faire pour mon fils une image taillée et une image en fonte; et c'est ainsi que je te le rendrai.(FR) 3 ׃17 וַיָּ֛שֶׁב אֶת־אֶֽלֶף־וּמֵאָ֥ה הַכֶּ֖סֶף לְאִמּ֑וֹ וַתֹּ֣אמֶר אִמּ֡וֹ הַקְדֵּ֣שׁ הִקְדַּ֣שְׁתִּי אֶת־הַכֶּסֶף֩ לַיהוָ֨ה מִיָּדִ֜י לִבְנִ֗י לַֽעֲשׂוֹת֙ פֶּ֣סֶל וּמַסֵּכָ֔ה וְעַתָּ֖ה אֲשִׁיבֶ֥נּוּ לָֽךְ׃ Judges Jdg 17:3 He then returned the eleven hundred pieces of silver to his mother, and his mother said, "I wholly dedicate the silver from my hand to the Lord for my son to make a graven image and a molten image; now therefore, I will return them to you."(nasb) ======= Judges 17:4 ============ Jdg 17:4 Yet he restored the money unto his mother; and his mother took two hundred shekels of silver, and gave them to the founder, who made thereof a graven image and a molten image: and they were in the house of Micah.(KJV) Judges 17:4 And when he had restored the money vnto his mother, his mother tooke two hundreth shekels of siluer, and gaue them to the founder, which made thereof a grauen and molten image, and it was in the house of Michah.(Geneva) Juges 17:4 Il rendit à sa mère l'argent. Sa mère prit deux cents sicles d'argent. Et elle donna l'argent au fondeur, qui en fit une image taillée et une image en fonte. On les plaça dans la maison de Mica.(FR) 4 ׃17 וַיָּ֥שֶׁב אֶת־הַכֶּ֖סֶף לְאִמּ֑וֹ וַתִּקַּ֣ח אִמּוֹ֩ מָאתַ֨יִם כֶּ֜סֶף וַתִּתְּנֵ֣הוּ לַצּוֹרֵ֗ף וַֽיַּעֲשֵׂ֙הוּ֙ פֶּ֣סֶל וּמַסֵּכָ֔ה וַיְהִ֖י בְּבֵ֥ית מִיכָֽיְהוּ׃ Judges Jdg 17:4 So when he returned the silver to his mother, his mother took two hundred pieces of silver and gave them to the silversmith who made them into a graven image and a molten image, and they were in the house of Micah.(nasb) ======= Judges 17:5 ============ Jdg 17:5 And the man Micah had an house of gods, and made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest.(KJV) Judges 17:5 And this man Michah had an house of gods, & made an Ephod, and Teraphim, & cosecrated one of his sonnes, who was his Priest.(Geneva) Juges 17:5 Ce Mica avait une maison de Dieu; il fit un éphod et des théraphim, et il consacra l'un de ses fils, qui lui servit de prêtre.(FR) 5 ׃17 וְהָאִ֣ישׁ מִיכָ֔ה ל֖וֹ בֵּ֣ית אֱלֹהִ֑ים וַיַּ֤עַשׂ אֵפוֹד֙ וּתְרָפִ֔ים וַיְמַלֵּ֗א אֶת־יַ֤ד אַחַד֙ מִבָּנָ֔יו וַיְהִי־ל֖וֹ לְכֹהֵֽן׃ Judges Jdg 17:5 And the man Micah had a shrine and he made an ephod and household idols and consecrated one of his sons, that he might become his priest.(nasb) ======= Judges 17:6 ============ Jdg 17:6 In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.(KJV) Judges 17:6 In those dayes there was no King in Israel, but euery man did that which was good in his owne eyes.(Geneva) Juges 17:6 En ce temps-là, il n'y avait point de roi en Israël. Chacun faisait ce qui lui semblait bon.(FR) 6 ׃17 בַּיָּמִ֣ים הָהֵ֔ם אֵ֥ין מֶ֖לֶךְ בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל אִ֛ישׁ הַיָּשָׁ֥ר בְּעֵינָ֖יו יַעֲשֶֽׂה׃ פ Judges Jdg 17:6 In those days there was no king in Israel; every man did what was right in his own eyes.(nasb) ======= Judges 17:7 ============ Jdg 17:7 And there was a young man out of Bethlehemjudah of the family of Judah, who was a Levite, and he sojourned there.(KJV) Judges 17:7 There was also a yong man out of Bethlehem Iudah, of the familie of Iudah: who was a Leuite, and soiourned there.(Geneva) Juges 17:7 Il y avait un jeune homme de Bethléhem de Juda, de la famille de Juda; il était Lévite, et il séjournait là.(FR) 7 ׃17 וַיְהִי־נַ֗עַר מִבֵּ֥ית לֶ֙חֶם֙ יְהוּדָ֔ה מִמִּשְׁפַּ֖חַת יְהוּדָ֑ה וְה֥וּא לֵוִ֖י וְה֥וּא גָֽר־שָֽׁם׃ Judges Jdg 17:7 Now there was a young man from Bethlehem in Judah, of the family of Judah, who was a Levite; and he was staying there.(nasb) ======= Judges 17:8 ============ Jdg 17:8 And the man departed out of the city from Bethlehemjudah to sojourn where he could find a place: and he came to mount Ephraim to the house of Micah, as he journeyed.(KJV) Judges 17:8 And the man departed out of the citie, euen out of Beth-lehem Iudah, to dwell where he coulde finde a place: and as he iourneyed, he came to mount Ephraim to the house of Michah(Geneva) Juges 17:8 Cet homme partit de la ville de Bethléhem de Juda, pour chercher une demeure qui lui convînt. En poursuivant son chemin, il arriva dans la montagne d'Ephraïm jusqu'à la maison de Mica.(FR) 8 ׃17 וַיֵּ֨לֶךְ הָאִ֜ישׁ מֵהָעִ֗יר מִבֵּ֥ית לֶ֙חֶם֙ יְהוּדָ֔ה לָג֖וּר בַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר יִמְצָ֑א וַיָּבֹ֧א הַר־אֶפְרַ֛יִם עַד־בֵּ֥ית מִיכָ֖ה לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת דַּרְכּֽוֹ׃ Judges Jdg 17:8 Then the man departed from the city, from Bethlehem in Judah, to stay wherever he might find a place; and as he made his journey, he came to the hill country of Ephraim to the house of Micah.(nasb) ======= Judges 17:9 ============ Jdg 17:9 And Micah said unto him, Whence comest thou? And he said unto him, I am a Levite of Bethlehemjudah, and I go to sojourn where I may find a place.(KJV) Judges 17:9 And Michah saide vnto him, Whence comest thou? And the Leuite answered him, I come from Beth-lehem Iudah, and goe to dwell where I may finde a place.(Geneva) Juges 17:9 Mica lui dit: D'où viens-tu? Il lui répondit: Je suis Lévite, de Bethléhem de Juda, et je voyage pour chercher une demeure qui me convienne.(FR) 9 ׃17 וַיֹּאמֶר־ל֥וֹ מִיכָ֖ה מֵאַ֣יִן תָּב֑וֹא וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֵלָ֜יו לֵוִ֣י אָנֹ֗כִי מִבֵּ֥ית לֶ֙חֶם֙ יְהוּדָ֔ה וְאָנֹכִ֣י הֹלֵ֔ךְ לָג֖וּר בַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר אֶמְצָֽא׃ Judges Jdg 17:9 Micah said to him, "Where do you come from?" And he said to him, "I am a Levite from Bethlehem in Judah, and I am going to stay wherever I may find a place."(nasb) ======= Judges 17:10 ============ Jdg 17:10 And Micah said unto him, Dwell with me, and be unto me a father and a priest, and I will give thee ten shekels of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and thy victuals. So the Levite went in.(KJV) Judges 17:10 Then Michah said vnto him, Dwell with me, and be vnto me a father and a Priest, and I will giue thee ten shekels of siluer by yeere, and a sute of apparell, and thy meate and drinke. So the Leuite went in.(Geneva) Juges 17:10 Mica lui dit: Reste avec moi; tu me serviras de père et de prêtre, et je te donnerai dix sicles d'argent par année, les vêtements dont tu auras besoin, et ton entretien. Et le Lévite entra.(FR) 10 ׃17 וַיֹּאמֶר֩ ל֨וֹ מִיכָ֜ה שְׁבָ֣ה עִמָּדִ֗י וֶֽהְיֵה־לִי֮ לְאָ֣ב וּלְכֹהֵן֒ וְאָנֹכִ֨י אֶֽתֶּן־לְךָ֜ עֲשֶׂ֤רֶת כֶּ֙סֶף֙ לַיָּמִ֔ים וְעֵ֥רֶךְ בְּגָדִ֖ים וּמִחְיָתֶ֑ךָ וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ הַלֵּוִֽי׃ Judges Jdg 17:10 Micah then said to him, "Dwell with me and be a father and a priest to me, and I will give you ten pieces of silver a year, a suit of clothes, and your maintenance." So the Levite went in.(nasb) ======= Judges 17:11 ============ Jdg 17:11 And the Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was unto him as one of his sons.(KJV) Judges 17:11 And the Leuite was content to dwel with the man, and the yong man was vnto him as one of his owne sonnes.(Geneva) Juges 17:11 Il se décida ainsi à rester avec cet homme, qui regarda le jeune homme comme l'un de ses fils.(FR) 11 ׃17 וַיּ֥וֹאֶל הַלֵּוִ֖י לָשֶׁ֣בֶת אֶת־הָאִ֑ישׁ וַיְהִ֤י הַנַּ֙עַר֙ ל֔וֹ כְּאַחַ֖ד מִבָּנָֽיו׃ Judges Jdg 17:11 The Levite agreed to live with the man, and the young man became to him like one of his sons.(nasb) ======= Judges 17:12 ============ Jdg 17:12 And Micah consecrated the Levite; and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.(KJV) Judges 17:12 And Michah consecrated the Leuite, and the yong man was his Priest, and was in the house of Michah.(Geneva) Juges 17:12 Mica consacra le Lévite, et ce jeune homme lui servit de prêtre et demeura dans sa maison.(FR) 12 ׃17 וַיְמַלֵּ֤א מִיכָה֙ אֶת־יַ֣ד הַלֵּוִ֔י וַיְהִי־ל֥וֹ הַנַּ֖עַר לְכֹהֵ֑ן וַיְהִ֖י בְּבֵ֥ית מִיכָֽה׃ Judges Jdg 17:12 So Micah consecrated the Levite, and the young man became his priest and lived in the house of Micah.(nasb) ======= Judges 17:13 ============ Jdg 17:13 Then said Micah, Now know I that the LORD will do me good, seeing I have a Levite to my priest.(kjv) Judges 17:13 Then said Michah, Nowe I know that the Lord will be good vnto me, seeing I haue a Leuite to my Priest.(Geneva) Juges 17:13 Et Mica dit: Maintenant, je sais que l'Eternel me fera du bien, puisque j'ai ce Lévite pour prêtre.(FR) 13 ׃17 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר מִיכָ֔ה עַתָּ֣ה יָדַ֔עְתִּי כִּֽי־יֵיטִ֥יב יְהוָ֖ה לִ֑י כִּ֧י הָיָה־לִ֛י הַלֵּוִ֖י לְכֹהֵֽן׃ Judges Jdg 17:13 Then Micah said, "Now I know that the Lord will prosper me, seeing I have a Levite as priest." (nasb) ======= Judges 18:1 ============ Jdg 18:1 In those days there was no king in Israel: and in those days the tribe of the Danites sought them an inheritance to dwell in; for unto that day all their inheritance had not fallen unto them among the tribes of Israel.(KJV) Judges 18:1 In those dayes there was no King in Israel, and at the same time the tribe of Dan sought them an inheritance to dwell in: for vnto that time all their inheritance had not fallen vnto them among the tribes of Israel.(Geneva) Juges 18:1 En ce temps-là, il n'y avait point de roi en Israël; et la tribu des Danites se cherchait une possession pour s'établir, car jusqu'à ce jour il ne lui était point échu d'héritage au milieu des tribus d'Israël.(FR) |
