Is not her younger sister more beautiful than she? Please let her be yours instead."(nasb) ======= Judges 15:3 ============ Jdg 15:3 And Samson said concerning them, Now shall I be more blameless than the Philistines, though I do them a displeasure.(KJV) Judges 15:3 Then Samson saide vnto them, Nowe am I more blamelesse then the Philistims: therefore will I doe them displeasure.(Geneva) Juges 15:3 Samson leur dit: Cette fois je ne serai pas coupable envers les Philistins, si je leur fais du mal.(FR) 3 ׃15 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לָהֶם֙ שִׁמְשׁ֔וֹן נִקֵּ֥יתִי הַפַּ֖עַם מִפְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים כִּֽי־עֹשֶׂ֥ה אֲנִ֛י עִמָּ֖ם רָעָֽה׃ Judges Jdg 15:3 Samson then said to them, "This time I shall be blameless in regard to the Philistines when I do them harm."(nasb) ======= Judges 15:4 ============ Jdg 15:4 And Samson went and caught three hundred foxes, and took firebrands, and turned tail to tail, and put a firebrand in the midst between two tails.(KJV) Judges 15:4 And Samson went out, and tooke three hundreth foxes, and tooke firebrands, and turned them taile to taile, and put a firebrand in ye middes betweene two tailes.(Geneva) Juges 15:4 Samson s'en alla. And they answered, Samson, the son in law of the Timnite, because he had taken his wife, and given her to his companion. And the Philistines came up, and burnt her and her father with fire.(KJV) Judges 15:6 Then the Philistims sayde, Who hath done this? And they answered, Samson the sonne in law of the Timnite, because hee had taken his wife, and giuen her to his companion. And they answered, To bind Samson are we come up, to do to him as he hath done to us.(KJV) Judges 15:10 And the men of Iudah sayde, Why are yee come vp vnto vs? And they said, "We have come up to bind Samson in order to do to him as he did to us."(nasb) ======= Judges 15:11 ============ Jdg 15:11 Then three thousand men of Judah went to the top of the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Knowest thou not that the Philistines are rulers over us? what is this that thou hast done unto us? What then is this that you have done to us?" And he said to them, "As they did to me, so I have done to them."(nasb) ======= Judges 15:12 ============ Jdg 15:12 And they said unto him, We are come down to bind thee, that we may deliver thee into the hand of the Philistines. And Samson said to them, "Swear to me that you will not kill me."(nasb) ======= Judges 15:13 ============ Jdg 15:13 And they spake unto him, saying, No; but we will bind thee fast, and deliver thee into their hand: but surely we will not kill thee. And they bound him with two new cords, and brought him up from the rock.(KJV) Judges 15:13 And they answered him, saying, No, but we will bynde thee and deliuer thee vnto their hande, but we will not kill thee; they bound him with two newe cordes, & brought him from the rocke.(Geneva) Juges 15:13 Ils lui répondirent: Non; nous voulons seulement te lier et te livrer entre leurs mains, mais nous ne te ferons pas mourir. Then they bound him with two new ropes and brought him up from the rock.(nasb) ======= Judges 15:14 ============ Jdg 15:14 And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.(KJV) Judges 15:14 When hee came to Lehi, the Philistims shouted against him, and the Spirite of the Lord came vpon him, and the cordes that were vpon his armes, became as flaxe that was burnt with fire: for the bandes loosed from his handes.(Geneva) Juges 15:14 Lorsqu'il arriva à Léchi, les Philistins poussèrent des cris à sa rencontre. Et l'on appela ce lieu Ramath-Léchi.(FR) 17 ׃15 וַֽיְהִי֙ כְּכַלֹּת֣וֹ לְדַבֵּ֔ר וַיַּשְׁלֵ֥ךְ הַלְּחִ֖י מִיָּד֑וֹ וַיִּקְרָ֛א לַמָּק֥וֹם הַה֖וּא רָ֥מַת לֶֽחִי׃ Judges Jdg 15:17 When he had finished speaking, he threw the jawbone from his hand; and he named that place Ramath-lehi.(nasb) ======= Judges 15:18 ============ Jdg 15:18 And he was sore athirst, and called on the LORD, and said, Thou hast given this great deliverance into the hand of thy servant: and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised?(KJV) Judges 15:18 And he was sore a thirst, and called on the Lorde, and sayde, Thou hast giuen this great deliuerance into the hand of thy seruaunt: and nowe shall I dye for thirst, and fall into the handes of the vncircumcised?(Geneva) Juges 15:18 Pressé par la soif, il invoqua l'Eternel, et dit: C'est toi qui as permis par la main de ton serviteur cette grande délivrance; et maintenant mourrais je de soif, et tomberais-je entre les mains des incirconcis?(FR) 18 ׃15 וַיִּצְמָא֮ מְאֹד֒ וַיִּקְרָ֤א אֶל־יְהוָה֙ וַיֹּאמַ֔ר אַתָּה֙ נָתַ֣תָּ בְיַֽד־עַבְדְּךָ֔ אֶת־הַתְּשׁוּעָ֥ה הַגְּדֹלָ֖ה הַזֹּ֑את וְעַתָּה֙ אָמ֣וּת בַּצָּמָ֔א וְנָפַלְתִּ֖י בְּיַ֥ד הָעֲרֵלִֽים׃ Judges Jdg 15:18 Then he became very thirsty, and he called to the Lord and said, "You have given this great deliverance by the hand of Your servant, and now shall I die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?"(nasb) ======= Judges 15:19 ============ Jdg 15:19 But God clave an hollow place that was in the jaw, and there came water thereout; and when he had drunk, his spirit came again, and he revived: wherefore he called the name thereof Enhakkore, which is in Lehi unto this day.(KJV) Judges 15:19 Then God brake the cheeke tooth, that was in the iawe, and water came thereout: and when he had drunke, his Spirit came againe, and he was reuiued: wherefore the name therof is called, Enhakkore, which is in Lehi vnto this day.(Geneva) Juges 15:19 Dieu fendit la cavité du rocher qui est à Léchi, et il en sortit de l'eau. When he drank, his strength returned and he revived.
