And David said unto the LORD, I have sinned greatly in that I have done: and now, I beseech thee, O LORD, take away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.(KJV) 2 Samuel 24:10 Then Dauids heart smote him, after that he had numbred the people: and Dauid said vnto the Lorde, I haue sinned exceedingly in that I haue done: therefore nowe, Lorde, I beseech thee, take away the trespasse of thy seruant: for I haue done very foolishly.(Geneva) 2 Samuel 24:10 David sentit battre son coeur, après qu'il eut ainsi fait le dénombrement du peuple. Et il dit à l'Eternel: J'ai commis un grand péché en faisant cela! Maintenant, ô Eternel, daigne pardonner l'iniquité de ton serviteur, car j'ai complètement agi en insensé!(FR) 10 ׃24 וַיַּ֤ךְ לֵב־דָּוִד֙ אֹת֔וֹ אַחֲרֵי־כֵ֖ן סָפַ֣ר אֶת־הָעָ֑ם ס וַיֹּ֨אמֶר דָּוִ֜ד אֶל־יְהוָ֗ה חָטָ֤אתִי מְאֹד֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשִׂ֔יתִי וְעַתָּ֣ה יְהוָ֔ה הַֽעֲבֶר־נָא֙ אֶת־עֲוֺ֣ן עַבְדְּךָ֔ כִּ֥י נִסְכַּ֖לְתִּי מְאֹֽד׃ Samuel2 2Sa 24:10 Now David's heart troubled him after he had numbered the people. So David said to the Lord, "I have sinned greatly in what I have done. Or will you flee three months before your foes while they pursue you? Or shall there be three days' pestilence in your land? Now consider and see what answer I shall return to Him who sent me."(nasb) ======= 2 Samuel 24:14 ============ 2Sa 24:14 And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man.(KJV) 2 Samuel 24:14 And Dauid said vnto Gad, I am in a wonderfull strait: let vs fall nowe into the hand of the Lord, (for his mercies are great) and let mee not fall into the hand of man.(Geneva) 2 Samuel 24:14 David répondit à Gad: Je suis dans une grande angoisse! Let us now fall into the hand of the Lord for His mercies are great, but do not let me fall into the hand of man." (nasb) ======= 2 Samuel 24:15 ============ 2Sa 24:15 So the LORD sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning even to the time appointed: and there died of the people from Dan even to Beersheba seventy thousand men.(KJV) 2 Samuel 24:15 So the Lord sent a pestilece in Israel, from the morning euen to the time appointed: & there dyed of the people from Dan euen to Beer-sheba seuentie thousand men.(Geneva) 2 Samuel 24:15 L'Eternel envoya la peste en Israël, depuis le matin jusqu'au temps fixé; et, de Dan à Beer-Schéba, il mourut soixante-dix mille hommes parmi le peuple.(FR) 15 ׃24 וַיִּתֵּ֨ן יְהוָ֥ה דֶּ֙בֶר֙ בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מֵהַבֹּ֖קֶר וְעַד־עֵ֣ת מוֹעֵ֑ד וַיָּ֣מָת מִן־הָעָ֗ם מִדָּן֙ וְעַד־בְּאֵ֣ר שֶׁ֔בַע שִׁבְעִ֥ים אֶ֖לֶף אִֽישׁ׃ Samuel2 2Sa 24:15 So the Lord sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning until the appointed time, and seventy thousand men of the people from Dan to Beersheba died.(nasb) ======= 2 Samuel 24:16 ============ 2Sa 24:16 And when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough: stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD was by the threshingplace of Araunah the Jebusite.(KJV) 2 Samuel 24:16 And when the Angel stretched out his hande vpon Ierusalem to destroy it, the Lord repented of the euil, and said to the Angel that destroyed the people, It is sufficient, holde nowe thine hand; the Angel of the Lorde was by the threshing place of Araunah the Iebusite.(Geneva) 2 Samuel 24:16 Comme l'ange étendait la main sur Jérusalem pour la détruire, l'Eternel se repentit de ce mal, et il dit à l'ange qui faisait périr le peuple: Assez! Retire maintenant ta main. L'ange de l'Eternel était près de l'aire d'Aravna, le Jébusien.(FR) 16 ׃24 וַיִּשְׁלַח֩ יָד֨וֹ הַמַּלְאָ֥ךְ ׀ יְרֽוּשָׁלַ[c]ם֮ לְשַׁחֲתָהּ֒ וַיִּנָּ֤חֶם יְהוָה֙ אֶל־הָ֣רָעָ֔ה וַ֠יֹּאמֶר לַמַּלְאָ֞ךְ הַמַּשְׁחִ֤ית בָּעָם֙ רַ֔ב עַתָּ֖ה הֶ֣רֶף יָדֶ֑ךָ וּמַלְאַ֤ךְ יְהוָה֙ הָיָ֔ה עִם־גֹּ֖רֶן *האורנה **הָאֲרַ֥וְנָה הַיְבֻסִֽי׃ ס Samuel2 2Sa 24:16 When the angel stretched out his hand toward Jerusalem to destroy it, the Lord relented from the calamity and said to the angel who destroyed the people, "It is enough! Now relax your hand!" And the angel of the Lord was by the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.(nasb) ======= 2 Samuel 24:17 ============ 2Sa 24:17 And David spake unto the LORD when he saw the angel that smote the people, and said, Lo, I have sinned, and I have done wickedly: but these sheep, what have they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, be against me, and against my father's house.(KJV) 2 Samuel 24:17 And Dauid spake vnto the Lorde (when he sawe the Angel that smote the people) and saide, Behold, I haue sinned, yea, I haue done wickedly: but these sheepe, what haue they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, be against mee and against my fathers house.(Geneva) 2 Samuel 24:17 David, voyant l'ange qui frappait parmi le peuple, dit à l'Eternel: Voici, j'ai péché! Que ta main soit donc sur moi et sur la maison de mon père!(FR) 17 ׃24 וַיֹּאמֶר֩ דָּוִ֨ד אֶל־יְהוָ֜ה בִּרְאֹת֣וֹ ׀ אֶֽת־הַמַּלְאָ֣ךְ ׀ הַמַּכֶּ֣ה בָעָ֗ם וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ הִנֵּ֨ה אָנֹכִ֤י חָטָ֙אתִי֙ וְאָנֹכִ֣י הֶעֱוֵ֔יתִי וְאֵ֥לֶּה הַצֹּ֖אן מֶ֣ה עָשׂ֑וּ תְּהִ֨י נָ֥א יָדְךָ֛ בִּ֖י וּבְבֵ֥ית אָבִֽי׃ פ Samuel2 2Sa 24:17 Then David spoke to the Lord when he saw the angel who was striking down the people, and said, "Behold, it is I who have sinned, and it is I who have done wrong; but these sheep, what have they done? Please let Your hand be against me and against my father's house." So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.(KJV) 2 Samuel 24:24 Then the King saide vnto Araunah, Not so, but I will bye it of thee at a price, and will not offer burnt offring vnto ye Lorde my God of that which doeth cost me nothing. So Dauid bought the threshing floore, and the oxen for fiftie shekels of siluer.(Geneva) 2 Samuel 24:24 Mais le roi dit à Aravna: Non! Je veux l'acheter de toi à prix d'argent, et je n'offrirai point à l'Eternel, mon Dieu, des holocaustes qui ne me coûtent rien. So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.(nasb) ======= 2 Samuel 24:25 ============ 2Sa 24:25 And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the LORD was intreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from Israel.(kjv) 2 Samuel 24:25 And Dauid built there an altar vnto the Lorde, and offred burnt offrings and peace offrings, and the Lord was appeased toward ye lande, and the plague ceased from Israel.(Geneva) 2 Samuel 24:25 David bâtit là un autel à l'Eternel, et il offrit des holocaustes et des sacrifices d'actions de grâces. Thus the Lord was moved by prayer for the land, and the plague was held back from Israel.
