Will you go with me to fight against Moab?" For the Lord has called these three kings to give them into the hand of Moab."(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 3:11 ============ 2Ki 3:11 But Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD, that we may enquire of the LORD by him? And one of the king of Israel's servants answered and said, Here is Elisha the son of Shaphat, which poured water on the hands of Elijah.(KJV) 2 Kings 3:11 But Iehoshaphat saide, Is there not here a Prophet of the Lorde, that we may inquire of the Lorde by him? And one of the King of Israels seruants answered, and said, Here is Elisha the sonne of Shaphat, which powred water on the handes of Eliiah.(Geneva) 2 Rois 3:11 Mais Josaphat dit: N'y a-t-il ici aucun prophète de l'Eternel, par qui nous puissions consulter l'Eternel? L'un des serviteurs du roi d'Israël répondit: Il y a ici Elisée, fils de Schaphath, qui versait l'eau sur les mains d'Elie.(FR) 11 ׃3 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יְהוֹשָׁפָ֗ט הַאֵ֨ין פֹּ֤ה נָבִיא֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה וְנִדְרְשָׁ֥ה אֶת־יְהוָ֖ה מֵאוֹת֑וֹ וַ֠יַּעַן אֶחָ֞ד מֵעַבְדֵ֤י מֶֽלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ וַיֹּ֔אמֶר פֹּ֚ה אֱלִישָׁ֣ע בֶּן־שָׁפָ֔ט אֲשֶׁר־יָ֥צַק מַ֖יִם עַל־יְדֵ֥י אֵלִיָּֽהוּ׃ Kings2 2Ki 3:11 But Jehoshaphat said, "Is there not a prophet of the Lord here, that we may inquire of the Lord by him?" And one of the king of Israel's servants answered and said, "Elisha the son of Shaphat is here, who used to pour water on the hands of Elijah."(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 3:12 ============ 2Ki 3:12 And Jehoshaphat said, The word of the LORD is with him. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.(KJV) 2 Kings 3:12 Then Iehoshaphat saide, The worde of the Lorde is with him. Et le roi d'Israël lui dit: Non! car l'Eternel a appelé ces trois rois pour les livrer entre les mains de Moab.(FR) 13 ׃3 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֱלִישָׁ֜ע אֶל־מֶ֤לֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ מַה־לִּ֣י וָלָ֔ךְ לֵ֚ךְ אֶל־נְבִיאֵ֣י אָבִ֔יךָ וְאֶל־נְבִיאֵ֖י אִמֶּ֑ךָ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לוֹ֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אַ֗ל כִּֽי־קָרָ֤א יְהוָה֙ לִשְׁלֹ֙שֶׁת֙ הַמְּלָכִ֣ים הָאֵ֔לֶּה לָתֵ֥ת אוֹתָ֖ם בְּיַד־מוֹאָֽב׃ Kings2 2Ki 3:13 Now Elisha said to the king of Israel, "What do I have to do with you? Go to the prophets of your father and to the prophets of your mother." And it came to pass, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the LORD came upon him.(KJV) 2 Kings 3:15 But nowe bring me a minstrel; when the minstrel played, the hand of the Lord came vpon him.(Geneva) 2 Rois 3:15 Maintenant, amenez-moi un joueur de harpe. And it came about, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the Lord came upon him.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 3:16 ============ 2Ki 3:16 And he said, Thus saith the LORD, Make this valley full of ditches.(KJV) 2 Kings 3:16 And he saide, Thus saith the Lorde, Make this valley full of ditches.(Geneva) 2 Rois 3:16 Et il dit: Ainsi parle l'Eternel: Faites dans cette vallée des fosses, des fosses!(FR) 16 ׃3 וַיֹּ֕אמֶר כֹּ֖ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֑ה עָשֹׂ֛ה הַנַּ֥חַל הַזֶּ֖ה גֵּבִ֥ים ׀ גֵּבִֽים׃ Kings2 2Ki 3:16 He said, "Thus says the Lord, 'Make this valley full of trenches.'(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 3:17 ============ 2Ki 3:17 For thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts.(KJV) 2 Kings 3:17 For thus saith the Lorde, Ye shall neither see winde nor see raine, yet the valley shalbe filled with water, that ye may drinke, both ye and your cattel, and your beastes.(Geneva) 2 Rois 3:17 Car ainsi parle l'Eternel: Vous n'apercevrez point de vent et vous ne verrez point de pluie, et cette vallée se remplira d'eau, et vous boirez, vous, vos troupeaux et votre bétail.(FR) 17 ׃3 כִּֽי־כֹ֣ה ׀ אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֗ה לֹֽא־תִרְא֥וּ ר֙וּחַ֙ וְלֹֽא־תִרְא֣וּ גֶ֔שֶׁם וְהַנַּ֥חַל הַה֖וּא יִמָּ֣לֵא מָ֑יִם וּשְׁתִיתֶ֛ם אַתֶּ֥ם וּמִקְנֵיכֶ֖ם וּֽבְהֶמְתְּכֶֽם׃ Kings2 2Ki 3:17 For thus says the Lord, 'You shall not see wind nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you shall drink, both you and your cattle and your beasts.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 3:18 ============ 2Ki 3:18 And this is but a light thing in the sight of the LORD: he will deliver the Moabites also into your hand.(KJV) 2 Kings 3:18 But this is a small thing in the sight of the Lorde: for he will giue Moab into your hande.(Geneva) 2 Rois 3:18 Mais cela est peu de chose aux yeux de l'Eternel. And there came great wrath against Israel, and they departed from him and returned to their own land.
