Tell me, what do you have in the house?" And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And he said, "Go, sell the oil and pay your debt, and you and your sons can live on the rest." (nasb) ======= 2 Kings 4:8 ============ 2Ki 4:8 And it fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as oft as he passed by, he turned in thither to eat bread.(KJV) 2 Kings 4:8 And on a time Elisha came to Shunem, and there a woman of great estimation constrained him to eate bread: and as he passed by, he turned in thither to eate bread.(Geneva) 2 Rois 4:8 Un jour Elisée passait par Sunem. Is there any thing to bee spoken for thee to the King or to the captaine of the hoste? Would you be spoken for to the king or to the captain of the army?'" And she said, Nay, my lord, thou man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid.(KJV) 2 Kings 4:16 And he said, At this time appointed, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a sonne; she sayd, Oh my Lorde, thou man of God, doe not lye vnto thine handmayd.(Geneva) 2 Rois 4:16 Elisée lui dit: A cette même époque, l'année prochaine, tu embrasseras un fils. Et elle dit: Non! mon seigneur, homme de Dieu, ne trompe pas ta servante!(FR) 16 ׃4 וַיֹּ֗אמֶר לַמּוֹעֵ֤ד הַזֶּה֙ כָּעֵ֣ת חַיָּ֔ה *אתי **אַ֖תְּ חֹבֶ֣קֶת בֵּ֑ן וַתֹּ֗אמֶר אַל־אֲדֹנִי֙ אִ֣ישׁ הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים אַל־תְּכַזֵּ֖ב בְּשִׁפְחָתֶֽךָ׃ Kings2 2Ki 4:16 Then he said, "At this season next year you will embrace a son." And she said, "No, my lord, O man of God, do not lie to your maidservant."(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 4:17 ============ 2Ki 4:17 And the woman conceived, and bare a son at that season that Elisha had said unto her, according to the time of life.(KJV) 2 Kings 4:17 So the woman conceiued, & bare a sonne at that same season, according to the time of life, that Elisha had sayd vnto her.(Geneva) 2 Rois 4:17 Cette femme devint enceinte, et elle enfanta un fils à la même époque, l'année suivante, comme Elisée lui avait dit.(FR) 17 ׃4 וַתַּ֥הַר הָאִשָּׁ֖ה וַתֵּ֣לֶד בֵּ֑ן לַמּוֹעֵ֤ד הַזֶּה֙ כָּעֵ֣ת חַיָּ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּ֥ר אֵלֶ֖יהָ אֱלִישָֽׁע׃ Kings2 2Ki 4:17 The woman conceived and bore a son at that season the next year, as Elisha had said to her. (nasb) ======= 2 Kings 4:18 ============ 2Ki 4:18 And when the child was grown, it fell on a day, that he went out to his father to the reapers.(KJV) 2 Kings 4:18 And when the childe was growen, it fell on a day, that he went out to his father, and to the reapers.(Geneva) 2 Rois 4:18 L'enfant grandit. And he said to a lad, Carry him to his mother.(KJV) 2 Kings 4:19 And he sayde to his father, Mine head, mine head. And he said to his servant, "Carry him to his mother."(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 4:20 ============ 2Ki 4:20 And when he had taken him, and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon, and then died.(KJV) 2 Kings 4:20 And hee tooke him & brought him to his mother, and hee sate on her knees till noone, and dyed.(Geneva) 2 Rois 4:20 Le serviteur l'emporta et l'amena à sa mère. And it came to pass, as they were eating of the pottage, that they cried out, and said, O thou man of God, there is death in the pot. He threw it into the pot and said, "Pour it out for the people that they may eat."
