But Elisha said, "As the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you." And he said, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And he said, "As the Lord lives, and as you yourself live, I will not leave you." Nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so."(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 2:11 ============ 2Ki 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.(KJV) 2 Kings 2:11 And as they went walking and talking, beholde, there appeared a charet of fire, and horses of fire, and did separate them twaine. And he saw Elijah no more. And when he also had struck the waters, they were divided here and there; and Elisha crossed over. And they came to meet him and bowed themselves to the ground before him.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 2:16 ============ 2Ki 2:16 And they said unto him, Behold now, there be with thy servants fifty strong men; let them go, we pray thee, and seek thy master: lest peradventure the Spirit of the LORD hath taken him up, and cast him upon some mountain, or into some valley. And he said, Ye shall not send.(KJV) 2 Kings 2:16 And said vnto him, Beholde nowe, there be with thy seruants fiftie strong men: let them go, we pray thee, and seeke thy master, if so be the Spirite of the Lord hath taken him vp, and cast him vpon some mountaine, or into some valley. Il répondit: Ne les envoyez pas.(FR) 16 ׃2 וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ אֵלָ֡יו הִנֵּה־נָ֣א יֵֽשׁ־אֶת־עֲבָדֶיךָ֩ חֲמִשִּׁ֨ים אֲנָשִׁ֜ים בְּנֵֽי־חַ֗יִל יֵ֣לְכוּ נָא֮ וִיבַקְשׁ֣וּ אֶת־אֲדֹנֶיךָ֒ פֶּן־נְשָׂאוֹ֙ ר֣וּחַ יְהוָ֔ה וַיַּשְׁלִכֵ֙הוּ֙ בְּאַחַ֣ד הֶהָרִ֔ים א֖וֹ בְּאַחַ֣ת *הגיאות **הַגֵּאָי֑וֹת וַיֹּ֖אמֶר לֹ֥א תִשְׁלָֽחוּ׃ Kings2 2Ki 2:16 They said to him, "Behold now, there are with your servants fifty strong men, please let them go and search for your master; perhaps the Spirit of the Lord has taken him up and cast him on some mountain or into some valley." And he said, "You shall not send."(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 2:17 ============ 2Ki 2:17 And when they urged him till he was ashamed, he said, Send. They sent therefore fifty men; and they sought three days, but found him not.(KJV) 2 Kings 2:17 Yet they were instant vpon him, til he was ashamed: wherefore he saide, Sende.
