Today's Date: ======= Esther 10:1 ============ Est 10:1 And the king Ahasuerus laid a tribute upon the land, and upon the isles of the sea.(KJV) Esther 10:1 And the King Ahashuerosh layd a tribute vpon the land, and vpon the yles of the sea.(Geneva) Esther 10:1 Le roi Assuérus imposa un tribut au pays et aux îles de la mer.(FR) 1 ׃10 וַיָּשֶׂם֩ הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ *אחשרש **אֲחַשְׁוֵר֧וֹשׁ ׀ מַ֛ס עַל־הָאָ֖רֶץ וְאִיֵּ֥י הַיָּֽם׃ Esther Est 10:1 Now King Ahasuerus laid a tribute on the land and on the coastlands of the sea.(nasb) ======= Esther 10:2 ============ Est 10:2 And all the acts of his power and of his might, and the declaration of the greatness of Mordecai, whereunto the king advanced him, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia?(KJV) Esther 10:2 And all the actes of his power, and of his might, & the declaration of the dignitie of Mordecai, wherwith the King magnified him, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Media and Persia?(Geneva) Esther 10:2 Tous les faits concernant sa puissance et ses exploits, et les détails sur la grandeur à laquelle le roi éleva Mardochée, ne sont-ils pas écrits dans le livre des Chroniques des rois des Mèdes et des Perses?(FR) 2 ׃10 וְכָל־מַעֲשֵׂ֤ה תָקְפּוֹ֙ וּגְב֣וּרָת֔וֹ וּפָרָשַׁת֙ גְּדֻלַּ֣ת מָרְדֳּכַ֔י אֲשֶׁ֥ר גִּדְּל֖וֹ הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ הֲלוֹא־הֵ֣ם כְּתוּבִ֗ים עַל־סֵ֙פֶר֙ דִּבְרֵ֣י הַיָּמִ֔ים לְמַלְכֵ֖י מָדַ֥י וּפָרָֽס׃ Esther Est 10:2 And all the accomplishments of his authority and strength, and the full account of the greatness of Mordecai to which the king advanced him, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Media and Persia?(nasb) ======= Esther 10:3 ============ Est 10:3 For Mordecai the Jew was next unto king Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his brethren, seeking the wealth of his people, and speaking peace to all his seed.(kjv) Esther 10:3 For Mordecai the Iewe was the second vnto King Ahashuerosh, & great among the Iewes, and accepted among the multitude of his brethren, who procured the wealth of his people, and spake peaceably to all his seede.(Geneva) Esther 10:3 Car le Juif Mardochée était le premier après le roi Assuérus; considéré parmi les Juifs et aimé de la multitude de ses frères, il rechercha le bien de son peuple et parla pour le bonheur de toute sa race.(FR) 3 ׃10 כִּ֣י ׀ מָרְדֳּכַ֣י הַיְּהוּדִ֗י מִשְׁנֶה֙ לַמֶּ֣לֶךְ אֲחַשְׁוֵר֔וֹשׁ וְגָדוֹל֙ לַיְּהוּדִ֔ים וְרָצ֖וּי לְרֹ֣ב אֶחָ֑יו דֹּרֵ֥שׁ טוֹב֙ לְעַמּ֔וֹ וְדֹבֵ֥ר שָׁל֖וֹם לְכָל־זַרְעֽוֹ׃ Esther Est 10:3 For Mordecai the Jew was second only to King Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews and in favor with his many kinsmen, one who sought the good of his people and one who spoke for the welfare of his whole nation.
