Today's Date: ======= Ezekiel 28:1 ============ Eze 28:1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,(KJV) Ezekiel 28:1 The woorde of the Lorde came againe vnto me, saying,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 28:1 La parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:(FR) 1 ׃28 וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:1 The word of the Lord came again to me, saying, (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 28:2 ============ Eze 28:2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:(KJV) Ezekiel 28:2 Sonne of ma, say vnto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saieth the Lord God, Because thine heart is exalted, & thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God in ye mids of the sea, yet thou art but a man & not God, and though thou didest thinke in thine heart, that thou wast equall with God,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 28:2 Fils de l'homme, dis au prince de Tyr: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Ton coeur s'est élevé, et tu as dit: Je suis Dieu, Je suis assis sur le siège de Dieu, au sein des mers! Toi, tu es homme et non Dieu, Et tu prends ta volonté pour la volonté de Dieu.(FR) 2 ׃28 בֶּן־אָדָ֡ם אֱמֹר֩ לִנְגִ֨יד צֹ֜ר כֹּֽה־אָמַ֣ר ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהֹוִ֗ה יַ֣עַן גָּבַ֤הּ לִבְּךָ֙ וַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙ אֵ֣ל אָ֔נִי מוֹשַׁ֧ב אֱלֹהִ֛ים יָשַׁ֖בְתִּי בְּלֵ֣ב יַמִּ֑ים וְאַתָּ֤ה אָדָם֙ וְֽלֹא־אֵ֔ל וַתִּתֵּ֥ן לִבְּךָ֖ כְּלֵ֥ב אֱלֹהִֽים׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:2 "Son of man, say to the leader of Tyre, 'Thus says the Lord God, "Because your heart is lifted up And you have said, 'I am a god, I sit in the seat of gods In the heart of the seas'; Yet you are a man and not God, Although you make your heart like the heart of God"(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 28:3 ============ Eze 28:3 Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:(KJV) Ezekiel 28:3 Behold, thou art wiser then Daniel: there is no secrete, that they can hide from thee.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 28:3 Voici, tu es plus sage que Daniel, Rien de secret n'est caché pour toi;(FR) 3 ׃28 הִנֵּ֥ה חָכָ֛ם אַתָּ֖ה *מדנאל **מִדָּֽנִיֵּ֑אל כָּל־סָת֖וּם לֹ֥א עֲמָמֽוּךָ׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:3 Behold, you are wiser than Daniel; There is no secret that is a match for you. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 28:4 ============ Eze 28:4 With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:(KJV) Ezekiel 28:4 With thy wisedome and thine vnderstanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten golde and siluer into thy treasures.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 28:4 Par ta sagesse et par ton intelligence Tu t'es acquis des richesses, Tu as amassé de l'or et de l'argent Dans tes trésors;(FR) 4 ׃28 בְּחָכְמָֽתְךָ֙ וּבִתְבוּנָ֣תְךָ֔ עָשִׂ֥יתָ לְּךָ֖ חָ֑יִל וַתַּ֛עַשׂ זָהָ֥ב וָכֶ֖סֶף בְּאוֹצְרוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:4 "By your wisdom and understanding You have acquired riches for yourself And have acquired gold and silver for your treasuries. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 28:5 ============ Eze 28:5 By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:(KJV) Ezekiel 28:5 By thy great wisedome and by thine occupying hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted vp because of thy riches.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 28:5 Par ta grande sagesse et par ton commerce Tu as accru tes richesses, Et par tes richesses ton coeur s'est élevé.(FR) 5 ׃28 בְּרֹ֧ב חָכְמָתְךָ֛ בִּרְכֻלָּתְךָ֖ הִרְבִּ֣יתָ חֵילֶ֑ךָ וַיִּגְבַּ֥הּ לְבָבְךָ֖ בְּחֵילֶֽךָ׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 28:5 "By your great wisdom, by your trade You have increased your riches And your heart is lifted up because of your riches"(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 28:6 ============ Eze 28:6 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;(KJV) Ezekiel 28:6 Therefore thus sayeth the Lorde God, Because thou didest thinke in thine heart, that thou wast equall with God,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 28:6 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Parce que tu prends ta volonté pour la volonté de Dieu,(FR) 6 ׃28 לָכֵ֕ן כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה יַ֛עַן תִּתְּךָ֥ אֶת־לְבָבְךָ֖ כְּלֵ֥ב אֱלֹהִֽים׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:6 Therefore thus says the Lord God, 'Because you have made your heart Like the heart of God, (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 28:7 ============ Eze 28:7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.(KJV) Ezekiel 28:7 Behold, therefore I wil bring strangers vpon thee, euen the terrible nations: and they shall drawe their swordes against the beautie of thy wisedome, and they shall defile thy brightnes.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 28:7 Voici, je ferai venir contre toi des étrangers, Les plus violents d'entre les peuples; Ils tireront l'épée contre ton éclatante sagesse, Et ils souilleront ta beauté.(FR) 7 ׃28 לָכֵ֗ן הִנְנִ֨י מֵבִ֤יא עָלֶ֙יךָ֙ זָרִ֔ים עָרִיצֵ֖י גּוֹיִ֑ם וְהֵרִ֤יקוּ חַרְבוֹתָם֙ עַל־יְפִ֣י חָכְמָתֶ֔ךָ וְחִלְּל֖וּ יִפְעָתֶֽךָ׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:7 Therefore, behold, I will bring strangers upon you, The most ruthless of the nations. And they will draw their swords Against the beauty of your wisdom And defile your splendor. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 28:8 ============ Eze 28:8 They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.(KJV) Ezekiel 28:8 They shall cast thee downe to the pit, and thou shalt die the death of them, that are slaine in the middes of the sea.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 28:8 Ils te précipiteront dans la fosse, Et tu mourras comme ceux qui tombent percés de coups, Au milieu des mers.(FR) 8 ׃28 לַשַּׁ֖חַת יֽוֹרִד֑וּךָ וָמַ֛תָּה מְמוֹתֵ֥י חָלָ֖ל בְּלֵ֥ב יַמִּֽים׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:8 'They will bring you down to the pit, And you will die the death of those who are slain In the heart of the seas. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 28:9 ============ Eze 28:9 Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.(KJV) Ezekiel 28:9 Wilt thou say then before him, that slayeth thee, I am a god? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hands of him that slayeth thee.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 28:9 En face de ton meurtrier, diras-tu: Je suis Dieu? Tu seras homme et non Dieu Sous la main de celui qui te tuera.(FR) 9 ׃28 הֶאָמֹ֤ר תֹּאמַר֙ אֱלֹהִ֣ים אָ֔נִי לִפְנֵ֖י הֹֽרְגֶ֑ךָ וְאַתָּ֥ה אָדָ֛ם וְלֹא־אֵ֖ל בְּיַ֥ד מְחַלְלֶֽיךָ׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:9 'Will you still say, "I am a god," In the presence of your slayer, Though you are a man and not God, In the hands of those who wound you? (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 28:10 ============ Eze 28:10 Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.(KJV) Ezekiel 28:10 Thou shalt die the death of the vncircumcised by the hands of stragers: for I haue spoken it, sayth the Lord God.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 28:10 Tu mourras de la mort des incirconcis, Par la main des étrangers. Car moi, j'ai parlé, Dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel.(FR) 10 ׃28 מוֹתֵ֧י עֲרֵלִ֛ים תָּמ֖וּת בְּיַד־זָרִ֑ים כִּ֚י אֲנִ֣י דִבַּ֔רְתִּי נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 28:10 'You will die the death of the uncircumcised By the hand of strangers, For I have spoken!' declares the Lord God!"'"(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 28:11 ============ Eze 28:11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,(KJV) Ezekiel 28:11 Moreouer the word of the Lorde came vnto me, saying,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 28:11 La parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:(FR) 11 ׃28 וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֶאמֹֽר׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:11 Again the word of the Lord came to me saying, (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 28:12 ============ Eze 28:12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.(KJV) Ezekiel 28:12 Sonne of man, take vp a lamentation vpon the King of Tyrus, and say vnto him, Thus sayeth the Lorde God, Thou sealest vp the summe, and art full of wisedome and perfite in beautie.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 28:12 Fils de l'homme, Prononce une complainte sur le roi de Tyr! Tu lui diras: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Tu mettais le sceau à la perfection, Tu étais plein de sagesse, parfait en beauté.(FR) 12 ׃28 בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם שָׂ֥א קִינָ֖ה עַל־מֶ֣לֶךְ צ֑וֹר וְאָמַ֣רְתָּ לּ֗וֹ כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה אַתָּה֙ חוֹתֵ֣ם תָּכְנִ֔ית מָלֵ֥א חָכְמָ֖ה וּכְלִ֥יל יֹֽפִי׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:12 "Son of man, take up a lamentation over the king of Tyre and say to him, 'Thus says the Lord God, "You had the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 28:13 ============ Eze 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.(KJV) Ezekiel 28:13 Thou hast ben in Eden the garden of God: euery precious stone was in thy garment, the rubie, the topaze and the diamonde, the chrysolite, the onix, and the iasper, the saphir, emeraude, and the carbuncle and golde: the woorkemanship of thy timbrels, & of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 28:13 Tu étais en Eden, le jardin de Dieu; Tu étais couvert de toute espèce de pierres précieuses, De sardoine, de topaze, de diamant, De chrysolithe, d'onyx, de jaspe, De saphir, d'escarboucle, d'émeraude, et d'or; Tes tambourins et tes flûtes étaient à ton service, Préparés pour le jour où tu fus créé.(FR) 13 ׃28 בְּעֵ֨דֶן גַּן־אֱלֹהִ֜ים הָיִ֗יתָ כָּל־אֶ֨בֶן יְקָרָ֤ה מְסֻכָתֶ֙ךָ֙ אֹ֣דֶם פִּטְדָ֞ה וְיָהֲלֹ֗ם תַּרְשִׁ֥ישׁ שֹׁ֙הַם֙ וְיָ֣שְׁפֵ֔ה סַפִּ֣יר נֹ֔פֶךְ וּבָרְקַ֖ת וְזָהָ֑ב מְלֶ֨אכֶת תֻּפֶּ֤יךָ וּנְקָבֶ֙יךָ֙ בָּ֔ךְ בְּי֥וֹם הִבָּרַאֲךָ֖ כּוֹנָֽנוּ׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:13 "You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The ruby, the topaz and the diamond; The beryl, the onyx and the jasper; The lapis lazuli, the turquoise and the emerald; And the gold, the workmanship of your settings and sockets, Was in you. On the day that you were created They were prepared. You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked in the midst of the stones of fire. And I have destroyed you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the stones of fire. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 28:17 ============ Eze 28:17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.(KJV) Ezekiel 28:17 Thine heart was lifted vp because of thy beautie, and thou hast corrupted thy wisedome by reason of thy brightnes: I wil cast thee to ye grounde: I will lay thee before Kinges that they may beholde thee.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 28:17 Ton coeur s'est élevé à cause de ta beauté, Tu as corrompu ta sagesse par ton éclat; Je te jette par terre, Je te livre en spectacle aux rois.(FR) 17 ׃28 גָּבַ֤הּ לִבְּךָ֙ בְּיָפְיֶ֔ךָ שִׁחַ֥תָּ חָכְמָתְךָ֖ עַל־יִפְעָתֶ֑ךָ עַל־אֶ֣רֶץ הִשְׁלַכְתִּ֗יךָ לִפְנֵ֧י מְלָכִ֛ים נְתַתִּ֖יךָ לְרַ֥אֲוָה בָֽךְ׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:17 "Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom by reason of your splendor. I cast you to the ground; I put you before kings, That they may see you. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 28:18 ============ Eze 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.(KJV) Ezekiel 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctification by the multitude of thine iniquities, & by the iniquitie of thy marchandise: therefore wil I bring forth a fire from the mids of thee, which shall deuoure thee: and I wil bring thee to ashes vpon the earth, in the sight of all them that beholde thee.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 28:18 Par la multitude de tes iniquités, Par l'injustice de ton commerce, Tu as profané tes sanctuaires; Je fais sortir du milieu de toi un feu qui te dévore, Je te réduis en cendre sur la terre, Aux yeux de tous ceux qui te regardent.(FR) 18 ׃28 מֵרֹ֣ב עֲוֺנֶ֗יךָ בְּעֶ֙וֶל֙ רְכֻלָּ֣תְךָ֔ חִלַּ֖לְתָּ מִקְדָּשֶׁ֑יךָ וָֽאוֹצִא־אֵ֤שׁ מִתּֽוֹכְךָ֙ הִ֣יא אֲכָלַ֔תְךָ וָאֶתֶּנְךָ֤ לְאֵ֙פֶר֙ עַל־הָאָ֔רֶץ לְעֵינֵ֖י כָּל־רֹאֶֽיךָ׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:18 "By the multitude of your iniquities, In the unrighteousness of your trade You profaned your sanctuaries. Therefore I have brought fire from the midst of you; It has consumed you, And I have turned you to ashes on the earth In the eyes of all who see you. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 28:19 ============ Eze 28:19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.(KJV) Ezekiel 28:19 All they that knowe thee among the people, shalbe astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terrour, and neuer shalt thou be any more.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 28:19 Tous ceux qui te connaissent parmi les peuples Sont dans la stupeur à cause de toi; Tu es réduit au néant, tu ne seras plus à jamais!(FR) 19 ׃28 כָּל־יוֹדְעֶ֙יךָ֙ בָּֽעַמִּ֔ים שָׁמְמ֖וּ עָלֶ֑יךָ בַּלָּה֣וֹת הָיִ֔יתָ וְאֵינְךָ֖ עַד־עוֹלָֽם׃ פ Ezekiel Eze 28:19 "All who know you among the peoples Are appalled at you; You have become terrified And you will cease to be forever."'" (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 28:20 ============ Eze 28:20 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,(KJV) Ezekiel 28:20 Againe, the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 28:20 La parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:(FR) 20 ׃28 וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:20 And the word of the Lord came to me saying, (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 28:21 ============ Eze 28:21 Son of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesy against it,(KJV) Ezekiel 28:21 Sonne of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesie against it,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 28:21 Fils de l'homme, tourne ta face vers Sidon, Et prophétise contre elle!(FR) 21 ׃28 בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם שִׂ֥ים פָּנֶ֖יךָ אֶל־צִיד֑וֹן וְהִנָּבֵ֖א עָלֶֽיהָ׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:21 "Son of man, set your face toward Sidon, prophesy against her(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 28:22 ============ Eze 28:22 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.(KJV) Ezekiel 28:22 And say, Thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I come against thee, O Zidon, and I will be glorified in the mids of thee: and they shall know that I am the Lorde, when I shal haue executed iudgements in her, and shalbe sanctified in her.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 28:22 Tu diras: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Voici, j'en veux à toi, Sidon! Je serai glorifié au milieu de toi; Et ils sauront que je suis l'Eternel, Quand j'exercerai mes jugements contre elle, Quand je manifesterai ma sainteté au milieu d'elle.(FR) 22 ׃28 וְאָמַרְתָּ֗ כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה הִנְנִ֤י עָלַ֙יִךְ֙ צִיד֔וֹן וְנִכְבַּדְתִּ֖י בְּתוֹכֵ֑ךְ וְֽיָדְע֞וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֗ה בַּעֲשׂ֥וֹתִי בָ֛הּ שְׁפָטִ֖ים וְנִקְדַּ֥שְׁתִּי בָֽהּ׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:22 and say, 'Thus says the Lord God, "Behold, I am against you, O Sidon, And I will be glorified in your midst. Then they will know that I am the Lord when I execute judgments in her, And I will manifest My holiness in her. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 28:26 ============ Eze 28:26 And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.(kjv) Ezekiel 28:26 And they shal dwell safely therein, & shall builde houses, and plant vineyards: yea, they shall dwell safely, when I haue executed iudgements vpon al round about them that despise them, and they shall knowe that I am the Lord their God.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 28:26 Ils y habiteront en sécurité, et ils bâtiront des maisons et planteront des vignes; ils y habiteront en sécurité, quand j'exercerai mes jugements contre tous ceux qui les entourent et qui les méprisent.
