Today's Date: 4/2/2025 ======= Ezekiel 29:1 ============ Eze 29:1 In the tenth year, in the tenth month, in the twelfth day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,(KJV) Ezekiel 29:1 In the tenth yeere, and in the tenth moneth in the twelfth day of the moneth, the word of the Lord came vnto me, saying,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 29:1 La dixième année, le douzième jour du dixième mois, la parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:(FR) 1 ׃29 בַּשָּׁנָה֙ הָעֲשִׂירִ֔ית בָּעֲשִׂרִ֕י בִּשְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָׂ֖ר לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ הָיָ֥ה דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃ Ezekiel Eze 29:1 In the tenth year, in the tenth month, on the twelfth of the month, the word of the Lord came to me saying, (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 29:2 ============ Eze 29:2 Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt:(KJV) Ezekiel 29:2 Sonne of man, set thy face against Pharaoh the King of Egypt, and prophecie against him, and against all Egypt.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 29:2 Fils de l'homme, tourne ta face vers Pharaon, roi d'Egypte, Et prophétise contre lui et contre toute l'Egypte!(FR) 2 ׃29 בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם שִׂ֣ים פָּנֶ֔יךָ עַל־פַּרְעֹ֖ה מֶ֣לֶךְ מִצְרָ֑יִם וְהִנָּבֵ֣א עָלָ֔יו וְעַל־מִצְרַ֖יִם כֻּלָּֽהּ׃ Ezekiel Eze 29:2 "Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh king of Egypt and prophesy against him and against all Egypt. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 29:3 ============ Eze 29:3 Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.(KJV) Ezekiel 29:3 Speake, and say, Thus sayth the Lord God, Beholde, I come against thee, Pharaoh King of Egypt, the great dragon, that lieth in the middes of his riuers, which hath saide, The riuer is mine, and I haue made it for my selfe.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 29:3 Parle, et tu diras: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Voici, j'en veux à toi, Pharaon, roi d'Egypte, Grand crocodile, qui te couches au milieu de tes fleuves, Et qui dis: Mon fleuve est à moi, c'est moi qui l'ai fait!(FR) 3 ׃29 דַּבֵּ֨ר וְאָמַרְתָּ֜ כֹּֽה־אָמַ֣ר ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה הִנְנִ֤י עָלֶ֙יךָ֙ פַּרְעֹ֣ה מֶֽלֶךְ־מִצְרַ֔יִם הַתַּנִּים֙ הַגָּד֔וֹל הָרֹבֵ֖ץ בְּת֣וֹךְ יְאֹרָ֑יו אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָמַ֛ר לִ֥י יְאֹרִ֖י וַאֲנִ֥י עֲשִׂיתִֽנִי׃ Ezekiel Eze 29:3 Speak and say, 'Thus says the Lord God, "Behold, I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, The great monster that lies in the midst of his rivers, That has said, 'My Nile is mine, and I myself have made it.'(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 29:4 ============ Eze 29:4 But I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales.(KJV) Ezekiel 29:4 But I will put hookes in thy chawes, and I will cause the fish of thy riuers to sticke vnto thy scales, and I will drawe thee out of the middes of thy riuers, and all the fishe of thy riuers shall sticke vnto thy scales.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 29:4 Je mettrai une boucle à tes mâchoires, J'attacherai à tes écailles les poissons de tes fleuves, Et je te tirerai du milieu de tes fleuves, Avec tous les poissons qui s'y trouvent Et qui seront attachés à tes écailles.(FR) 4 ׃29 וְנָתַתִּ֤י *חחיים **חַחִים֙ בִּלְחָיֶ֔יךָ וְהִדְבַּקְתִּ֥י דְגַת־יְאֹרֶ֖יךָ בְּקַשְׂקְשֹׂתֶ֑יךָ וְהַעֲלִיתִ֙יךָ֙ מִתּ֣וֹךְ יְאֹרֶ֔יךָ וְאֵת֙ כָּל־דְּגַ֣ת יְאֹרֶ֔יךָ בְּקַשְׂקְשֹׂתֶ֖יךָ תִּדְבָּֽק׃ Ezekiel Eze 29:4 "I will put hooks in your jaws And make the fish of your rivers cling to your scales. And I will bring you up out of the midst of your rivers, And all the fish of your rivers will cling to your scales. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 29:5 ============ Eze 29:5 And I will leave thee thrown into the wilderness, thee and all the fish of thy rivers: thou shalt fall upon the open fields; thou shalt not be brought together, nor gathered: I have given thee for meat to the beasts of the field and to the fowls of the heaven.(KJV) Ezekiel 29:5 And I will leaue thee in the wildernes, both thee & al the fish of thy riuers: thou shalt fal vpon ye open field: thou shalt not be brought together, nor gathered: for I haue giue thee for meat to the beasts of the field, and to the foules of heauen.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 29:5 Je te jetterai dans le désert, Toi et tous les poissons de tes fleuves. Tu tomberas sur la face des champs, Tu ne seras ni relevé ni ramassé; Aux bêtes de la terre et aux oiseaux du ciel Je te donnerai pour pâture.(FR) 5 ׃29 וּנְטַשְׁתִּ֣יךָ הַמִּדְבָּ֗רָה אוֹתְךָ֙ וְאֵת֙ כָּל־דְּגַ֣ת יְאֹרֶ֔יךָ עַל־פְּנֵ֤י הַשָּׂדֶה֙ תִּפּ֔וֹל לֹ֥א תֵאָסֵ֖ף וְלֹ֣א תִקָּבֵ֑ץ לְחַיַּ֥ת הָאָ֛רֶץ וּלְע֥וֹף הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם נְתַתִּ֥יךָ לְאָכְלָֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 29:5 "I will abandon you to the wilderness, you and all the fish of your rivers; You will fall on the open field; you will not be brought together or gathered. I have given you for food to the beasts of the earth and to the birds of the sky. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 29:6 ============ Eze 29:6 And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the LORD, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.(KJV) Ezekiel 29:6 And al the inhabitants of Egypt shal know that I am the Lord, because they haue ben a staffe of reede to the house of Israel.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 29:6 Et tous les habitants de l'Egypte sauront que je suis l'Eternel, Parce qu'ils ont été un soutien de roseau pour la maison d'Israël.(FR) 6 ׃29 וְיָֽדְעוּ֙ כָּל־יֹשְׁבֵ֣י מִצְרַ֔יִם כִּ֖י אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֑ה יַ֧עַן הֱיוֹתָ֛ם מִשְׁעֶ֥נֶת קָנֶ֖ה לְבֵ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Ezekiel Eze 29:6 "Then all the inhabitants of Egypt will know that I am the Lord, Because they have been only a staff made of reed to the house of Israel. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 29:7 ============ Eze 29:7 When they took hold of thee by thy hand, thou didst break, and rend all their shoulder: and when they leaned upon thee, thou brakest, and madest all their loins to be at a stand.(KJV) Ezekiel 29:7 When they tooke holde of thee with their hand, thou diddest breake, & rent all their shoulder: & when they leaned vpon thee, thou brakest and madest all their loynes to stand vpright.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 29:7 Lorsqu'ils t'ont pris dans la main, tu t'es rompu, Et tu leur as déchiré toute l'épaule; Lorsqu'ils se sont appuyés sur toi, tu t'es brisé, Et tu as rendu leurs reins immobiles.(FR) 7 ׃29 בְּתָפְשָׂ֨ם בְּךָ֤ *בכפך **בַכַּף֙ תֵּר֔וֹץ וּבָקַעְתָּ֥ לָהֶ֖ם כָּל־כָּתֵ֑ף וּבְהִֽשָּׁעֲנָ֤ם עָלֶ֙יךָ֙ תִּשָּׁבֵ֔ר וְהַעֲמַדְתָּ֥ לָהֶ֖ם כָּל־מָתְנָֽיִם׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 29:7 "When they took hold of you with the hand, You broke and tore all their hands; And when they leaned on you, You broke and made all their loins quake."(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 29:8 ============ Eze 29:8 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring a sword upon thee, and cut off man and beast out of thee.(KJV) Ezekiel 29:8 Therefore thus sayeth the Lorde God, Beholde, I will bring a sworde vpon thee, and destroy man and beast out of thee,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 29:8 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Voici, je ferai venir contre toi l'épée, Et j'exterminerai du milieu de toi les hommes et les bêtes.(FR) 8 ׃29 לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה הִנְנִ֛י מֵבִ֥יא עָלַ֖יִךְ חָ֑רֶב וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י מִמֶּ֖ךְ אָדָ֥ם וּבְהֵמָֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 29:8 'Therefore thus says the Lord God, "Behold, I will bring upon you a sword and I will cut off from you man and beast. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 29:9 ============ Eze 29:9 And the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I am the LORD: because he hath said, The river is mine, and I have made it.(KJV) Ezekiel 29:9 And the land of Egypt shalbe desolate, and waste, & they shal know that I am ye Lord: because he hath said, The riuer is mine, & I haue made it,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 29:9 Le pays d'Egypte deviendra une solitude et un désert. Et ils sauront que je suis l'Eternel, Parce qu'il a dit: Le fleuve est à moi, c'est moi qui l'ai fait!(FR) 9 ׃29 וְהָיְתָ֤ה אֶֽרֶץ־מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ לִשְׁמָמָ֣ה וְחָרְבָּ֔ה וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֑ה יַ֧עַן אָמַ֛ר יְאֹ֥ר לִ֖י וַאֲנִ֥י עָשִֽׂיתִי׃ Ezekiel Eze 29:9 The land of Egypt will become a desolation and waste. Then they will know that I am the Lord. Because you said, 'The Nile is mine, and I have made it, '(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 29:10 ============ Eze 29:10 Behold, therefore I am against thee, and against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia.(KJV) Ezekiel 29:10 Behold, therefore I come vpon thee, and vpon thy riuers, & I will make the land of Egypt vtterly waste and desolate from the towre of Seueneh, euen vnto the borders of the blacke Mores.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 29:10 C'est pourquoi voici, j'en veux à toi et à tes fleuves, Et je ferai du pays d'Egypte un désert et une solitude, Depuis Migdol jusqu'à Syène et aux frontières de l'Ethiopie.(FR) 10 ׃29 לָכֵ֛ן הִנְנִ֥י אֵלֶ֖יךָ וְאֶל־יְאֹרֶ֑יךָ וְנָתַתִּ֞י אֶת־אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֗יִם לְחָרְבוֹת֙ חֹ֣רֶב שְׁמָמָ֔ה מִמִּגְדֹּ֥ל סְוֵנֵ֖ה וְעַד־גְּב֥וּל כּֽוּשׁ׃ Ezekiel Eze 29:10 therefore, behold, I am against you and against your rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt an utter waste and desolation, from Migdol to Syene and even to the border of Ethiopia. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 29:11 ============ Eze 29:11 No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years.(KJV) Ezekiel 29:11 No foote of man shall passe by it, nor foote of beast shall passe by it, neither shall it be inhabited fourtie yeeres.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 29:11 Nul pied d'homme n'y passera, Nul pied d'animal n'y passera, Et il restera quarante ans sans être habité.(FR) 11 ׃29 לֹ֤א תַעֲבָר־בָּהּ֙ רֶ֣גֶל אָדָ֔ם וְרֶ֥גֶל בְּהֵמָ֖ה לֹ֣א תַעֲבָר־בָּ֑הּ וְלֹ֥א תֵשֵׁ֖ב אַרְבָּעִ֥ים שָׁנָֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 29:11 A man's foot will not pass through it, and the foot of a beast will not pass through it, and it will not be inhabited for forty years. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 29:12 ============ Eze 29:12 And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.(KJV) Ezekiel 29:12 And I wil make the land of Egypt desolate in the middes of the countries, that are desolate, and her cities shall be desolate among the cities that are desolate, for fourtie yeeres: and I wil scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and wil disperse them through the countreis.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 29:12 Je ferai du pays d'Egypte une solitude entre les pays dévastés, Et ses villes seront désertes entre les villes désertes, Pendant quarante ans. Je répandrai les Egyptiens parmi les nations, Je les disperserai en divers pays.(FR) 12 ׃29 וְנָתַתִּ֣י אֶת־אֶרֶץ֩ מִצְרַ֨יִם שְׁמָמָ֜ה בְּת֣וֹךְ ׀ אֲרָצ֣וֹת נְשַׁמּ֗וֹת וְעָרֶ֙יהָ֙ בְּת֨וֹךְ עָרִ֤ים מָֽחֳרָבוֹת֙ תִּֽהְיֶ֣יןָ שְׁמָמָ֔ה אַרְבָּעִ֖ים שָׁנָ֑ה וַהֲפִצֹתִ֤י אֶת־מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ בַּגּוֹיִ֔ם וְֽזֵרִיתִ֖ים בָּאֲרָצֽוֹת׃ פ Ezekiel Eze 29:12 So I will make the land of Egypt a desolation in the midst of desolated lands. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 29:14 ============ Eze 29:14 And I will bring again the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their habitation; and they shall be there a base kingdom.(KJV) Ezekiel 29:14 And I wil bring againe the captiuitie of Egypt, and will cause them to returne into the land of Pathros, into the lande of their habitation, and they shalbe there a small kingdome.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 29:14 Je ramènerai les captifs de l'Egypte, Je les ramènerai dans le pays de Pathros, Dans le pays de leur origine, Et là ils formeront un faible royaume.(FR) 14 ׃29 וְשַׁבְתִּי֙ אֶת־שְׁב֣וּת מִצְרַ֔יִם וַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֤י אֹתָם֙ אֶ֣רֶץ פַּתְר֔וֹס עַל־אֶ֖רֶץ מְכֽוּרָתָ֑ם וְהָ֥יוּ שָׁ֖ם מַמְלָכָ֥ה שְׁפָלָֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 29:14 I will turn the fortunes of Egypt and make them return to the land of Pathros, to the land of their origin, and there they will be a lowly kingdom. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 29:15 ============ Eze 29:15 It shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations.(KJV) Ezekiel 29:15 It shall be the smallest of the kingdomes, neither shall it exalt it selfe any more aboue the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule the nations.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 29:15 Ce sera le moindre des royaumes, Et il ne s'élèvera plus au-dessus des nations, Je les diminuerai, afin qu'ils ne dominent pas sur les nations.(FR) 15 ׃29 מִן־הַמַּמְלָכוֹת֙ תִּהְיֶ֣ה שְׁפָלָ֔ה וְלֹֽא־תִתְנַשֵּׂ֥א ע֖וֹד עַל־הַגּוֹיִ֑ם וְהִ֨מְעַטְתִּ֔ים לְבִלְתִּ֖י רְד֥וֹת בַּגּוֹיִֽם׃ Ezekiel Eze 29:15 It will be the lowest of the kingdoms, and it will never again lift itself up above the nations. And I will make them so small that they will not rule over the nations. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 29:16 ============ Eze 29:16 And it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, which bringeth their iniquity to remembrance, when they shall look after them: but they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.(KJV) Ezekiel 29:16 And it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, to bring their iniquitie to remembrance by looking after them, so shall they knowe, that I am the Lord God.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 29:16 Ce royaume ne sera plus pour la maison d'Israël un sujet de confiance; Il lui rappellera son iniquité, quand elle se tournait vers eux. Et ils sauront que je suis le Seigneur, l'Eternel.(FR) 16 ׃29 וְלֹ֣א יִֽהְיֶה־עוֹד֩ לְבֵ֨ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל לְמִבְטָח֙ מַזְכִּ֣יר עָוֺ֔ן בִּפְנוֹתָ֖ם אַחֲרֵיהֶ֑ם וְיָ֣דְע֔וּ כִּ֥י אֲנִ֖י אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃ פ Ezekiel Eze 29:16 And it will never again be the confidence of the house of Israel, bringing to mind the iniquity of their having turned to Egypt. Then they will know that I am the Lord God."'"(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 29:17 ============ Eze 29:17 And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,(KJV) Ezekiel 29:17 In the seuen and twentieth yeere also in the first moneth, and in the first day of the moneth, came the word of the Lord vnto me, saying,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 29:17 La vingt-septième année, le premier jour du premier mois, la parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:(FR) 17 ׃29 וַיְהִ֗י בְּעֶשְׂרִ֤ים וָשֶׁ֙בַע֙ שָׁנָ֔ה בָּֽרִאשׁ֖וֹן בְּאֶחָ֣ד לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ הָיָ֥ה דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃ Ezekiel Eze 29:17 Now in the twenty-seventh year, in the first month, on the first of the month, the word of the Lord came to me saying, (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 29:18 ============ Eze 29:18 Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyrus: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it:(KJV) Ezekiel 29:18 Sonne of man, Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel caused his armie to serue a great seruice against Tyrus: euery head was made balde, & euery shoulder was made bare: yet had he no wages, nor his armie for Tyrus, for the seruice that he serued against it.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 29:18 Fils de l'homme, Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, A fait faire à son armée un service pénible contre Tyr; Toutes les têtes sont chauves, toutes les épaules sont écorchées; Et il n'a retiré de Tyr aucun salaire, ni lui, ni son armée, Pour le service qu'il a fait contre elle.(FR) 18 ׃29 בֶּן־אָדָ֗ם נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֣ר מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּ֠בֶל הֶעֱבִ֨יד אֶת־חֵיל֜וֹ עֲבֹדָ֤ה גְדֹלָה֙ אֶל־צֹ֔ר כָּל־רֹ֣אשׁ מֻקְרָ֔ח וְכָל־כָּתֵ֖ף מְרוּטָ֑ה וְ֠שָׂכָר לֹא־הָ֨יָה ל֤וֹ וּלְחֵילוֹ֙ מִצֹּ֔ר עַל־הָעֲבֹדָ֖ה אֲשֶׁר־עָבַ֥ד עָלֶֽיהָ׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 29:18 "Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon made his army labor hard against Tyre; every head was made bald and every shoulder was rubbed bare.
