Respondit: Parvuli sunt quos donavit mihi Deus servo tuo.(vulgate) Gen 33:5 Und er hob seine Augen auf und sah die Weiber mit den Kindern und sprach: Wer sind diese bei dir? Er antwortete: Es sind Kinder, die Gott deinem Knecht beschert hat.(dhs) Gen 33:5 And he lifted his eyes and saw the women and children, and said, "Who are these with you?" Darnach trat Joseph und Rahel herzu und neigten sich auch vor ihm.(dhs) Gen 33:7 And Leah also came near with her children, and they bowed down. And he said, "To find favor in the sight of my lord."(nasb) Gen 33:8 καὶ εἶπεν τί ταῦτά σοί ἐστιν πᾶσαι αἱ παρεμβολαὶ αὗται αἷς ἀπήντηκα ὁ δὲ εἶπεν ἵνα εὕρῃ ὁ παῖς σου χάριν ἐναντίον σου κύριε (lxx) Gen 33:8 Dixitque Esau: Quænam sunt istæ turmæ quas obviam habui? Respondit: Ut invenirem gratiam coram domino meo.(vulgate) Gen 33:8 Und er sprach: Was willst du mit all dem Heere, dem ich begegnet bin? Er antwortete: Daß ich Gnade fände vor meinem Herrn.(dhs) Gen 33:8 Then Esau said, "What do you mean by all this company which I met?" And he said, "These are to find favor in the sight of my lord."(nkjv) ======= Genesis 33:9 ============ Gen 33:9 But Esau said, "I have plenty, my brother; let what you have be your own."(nasb) Gen 33:9 εἶπεν δὲ Ησαυ ἔστιν μοι πολλά ἄδελφε ἔστω σοι τὰ σά (lxx) Gen 33:9 At ille ait: Habeo plurima, frater mi, sint tua tibi.(vulgate) Gen 33:9 Esau sprach: Ich habe genug, mein Bruder; behalte was du hast.(dhs) Gen 33:9 But Esau said, "I have enough, my brother; keep what you have for yourself."(nkjv) ======= Genesis 33:10 ============ Gen 33:10 Jacob said, "No, please, if now I have found favor in your sight, then take my present from my hand, for I see your face as one sees the face of God, and you have received me favorably.(nasb) Gen 33:10 εἶπεν δὲ Ιακωβ εἰ εὕρηκα χάριν ἐναντίον σου δέξαι τὰ δῶρα διὰ τῶν ἐμῶν χειρῶν ἕνεκεν τούτου εἶδον τὸ πρόσωπόν σου ὡς ἄν τις ἴδοι πρόσωπον θεοῦ καὶ εὐδοκήσεις με (lxx) Gen 33:10 Dixitque Jacob: Noli ita, obsecro: sed si inveni gratiam in oculis tuis, accipe munusculum de manibus meis. Sic enim vidi faciem tuam, quasi viderim vultum Dei: esto mihi propitius,(vulgate) Gen 33:10 Jakob antwortete: Ach, nicht! Habe ich Gnade gefunden vor dir, so nimm mein Geschenk von meiner Hand; denn ich sah dein Angesicht, als sähe ich Gottes Angesicht; und laß dir's wohl gefallen von mir.(dhs) Gen 33:10 And Jacob said, "No, please, if I have now found favor in your sight, then receive my present from my hand, inasmuch as I have seen your face as though I had seen the face of God, and you were pleased with me.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 33:11 ============ Gen 33:11 Please take my gift which has been brought to you, because God has dealt graciously with me and because I have plenty." Thus he urged him and he took it.(nasb) Gen 33:11 λαβὲ τὰς εὐλογίας μου ἃς ἤνεγκά σοι ὅτι ἠλέησέν με ὁ θεὸς καὶ ἔστιν μοι πάντα καὶ ἐβιάσατο αὐτόν καὶ ἔλαβεν (lxx) Gen 33:11 et suscipe benedictionem quam attuli tibi, et quam donavit mihi Deus tribuens omnia. Vix fratre compellente, suscipiens,(vulgate) Gen 33:11 Nimm doch den Segen von mir an, den ich dir zugebracht habe; denn Gott hat mir's beschert, und ich habe alles genug. Also nötigte er ihn, daß er's nahm.(dhs) Gen 33:11 Please, take my blessing that is brought to you, because God has dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough." So he urged him, and he took it.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 33:12 ============ Gen 33:12 Then Esau said, "Let us take our journey and go, and I will go before you."(nasb) Gen 33:12 καὶ εἶπεν ἀπάραντες πορευσόμεθα ἐπ᾽ εὐθεῖαν (lxx) Gen 33:12 ait: Gradiamur simul, eroque socius itineris tui.(vulgate) Gen 33:12 Und er sprach: Laß uns fortziehen und reisen, ich will mit dir ziehen.(dhs) Gen 33:12 Then Esau said, "Let us take our journey; let us go, and I will go before you."(nkjv) ======= Genesis 33:13 ============ Gen 33:13 But he said to him, "My lord knows that the children are frail and that the flocks and herds which are nursing are a care to me. And if they are driven hard one day, all the flocks will die.(nasb) Gen 33:13 εἶπεν δὲ αὐτῷ ὁ κύριός μου γινώσκει ὅτι τὰ παιδία ἁπαλώτερα καὶ τὰ πρόβατα καὶ αἱ βόες λοχεύονται ἐπ᾽ ἐμέ ἐὰν οὖν καταδιώξω αὐτοὺς ἡμέραν μίαν ἀποθανοῦνται πάντα τὰ κτήνη (lxx) Gen 33:13 Dixitque Jacob: Nosti, domine mi, quod parvulos habeam teneros, et oves, et boves fœtas mecum: quas si plus in ambulando fecero laborare, morientur una die cuncti greges.(vulgate) Gen 33:13 Er aber sprach zu ihm: Mein Herr, du erkennest, daß ich zarte Kinder bei mir habe, dazu säugende Schafe und Kühe; wenn sie einen Tag übertrieben würden, würde mir die ganze Herde sterben.(dhs) Gen 33:13 But Jacob said to him, "My lord knows that the children are weak, and the flocks and herds which are nursing are with me. And if the men should drive them hard one day, all the flock will die.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 33:14 ============ Gen 33:14 Please let my lord pass on before his servant, and I will proceed at my leisure, according to the pace of the cattle that are before me and according to the pace of the children, until I come to my lord at Seir."(nasb) Gen 33:14 προελθέτω ὁ κύριός μου ἔμπροσθεν τοῦ παιδός ἐγὼ δὲ ἐνισχύσω ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ κατὰ σχολὴν τῆς πορεύσεως τῆς ἐναντίον μου καὶ κατὰ πόδα τῶν παιδαρίων ἕως τοῦ με ἐλθεῖν πρὸς τὸν κύριόν μου εἰς Σηιρ (lxx) Gen 33:14 Præcedat dominus meus ante servum suum: et ego sequar paulatim vestigia ejus, sicut videro parvulos meos posse, donec veniam ad dominum meum in Seir.(vulgate) Gen 33:14 Mein Herr ziehe vor seinem Knechte hin. Ich will gemächlich hintennach treiben, nach dem das Vieh und die Kinder gehen können, bis daß ich komme zu meinem Herrn nach Seir.(dhs) Gen 33:14 Please let my lord go on ahead before his servant. I will lead on slowly at a pace which the livestock that go before me, and the children, are able to endure, until I come to my lord in Seir."(nkjv) ======= Genesis 33:15 ============ Gen 33:15 Esau said, "Please let me leave with you some of the people who are with me." But he said, "What need is there? Let me find favor in the sight of my lord."(nasb) Gen 33:15 εἶπεν δὲ Ησαυ καταλείψω μετὰ σοῦ ἀπὸ τοῦ λαοῦ τοῦ μετ᾽ ἐμοῦ ὁ δὲ εἶπεν ἵνα τί τοῦτο ἱκανὸν ὅτι εὗρον χάριν ἐναντίον σου κύριε (lxx) Gen 33:15 Respondit Esau: Oro te, ut de populo qui mecum est, saltem socri remaneant viæ tuæ. Non est, inquit, necesse: hoc uno tantum indigeo, ut inveniam gratiam in conspectu tuo, domine mi.(vulgate) Gen 33:15 Esau sprach: So will ich doch etliche bei dir lassen vom Volk, das mit mir ist. Er antwortete: Was ist's vonnöten? Laß mich nur Gnade vor meinem Herrn finden.(dhs) Gen 33:15 And Esau said, "Now let me leave with you some of the people who are with me." Let me find favor in the sight of my lord."(nkjv) ======= Genesis 33:16 ============ Gen 33:16 So Esau returned that day on his way to Seir.(nasb) Gen 33:16 ἀπέστρεψεν δὲ Ησαυ ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ εἰς τὴν ὁδὸν αὐτοῦ εἰς Σηιρ (lxx) Gen 33:16 Reversus est itaque illo die Esau itinere quo venerat in Seir.(vulgate) Gen 33:16 Also zog des Tages Esau wiederum seines Weges gen Seir.(dhs) Gen 33:16 So Esau returned that day on his way to Seir.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 33:17 ============ Gen 33:17 Jacob journeyed to Succoth, and built for himself a house and made booths for his livestock; therefore the place is named Succoth.(nasb) Gen 33:17 καὶ Ιακωβ ἀπαίρει εἰς Σκηνάς καὶ ἐποίησεν ἑαυτῷ ἐκεῖ οἰκίας καὶ τοῖς κτήνεσιν αὐτοῦ ἐποίησεν σκηνάς διὰ τοῦτο ἐκάλεσεν τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ τόπου ἐκείνου Σκηναί (lxx) Gen 33:17 Et Jacob venit in Socoth: ubi ædificata domo et fixis tentoriis appellavit nomen loci illius Socoth, id est, Tabernacula.(vulgate) Gen 33:17 Und Jakob zog gen Sukkoth und baute sich ein Haus und machte seinem Vieh Hütten; daher heißt die Stätte Sukkoth.(dhs) Gen 33:17 And Jacob journeyed to Succoth, built himself a house, and made booths for his livestock.
