From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.(nasb) Pro 2:6 ὅτι κύριος δίδωσιν σοφίαν καὶ ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ γνῶσις καὶ σύνεσις (lxx) Pro 2:6 quia Dominus dat sapientiam, et ex ore ejus prudentia et scientia.(vulgate) Pro 2:6 Denn der HERR gibt Weisheit, und aus seinem Munde kommt Erkenntnis und Verstand.(dhs) Pro 2:6 For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding;(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 2:7 ============ Pro 2:7 He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity,(nasb) Pro 2:7 καὶ θησαυρίζει τοῖς κατορθοῦσι σωτηρίαν ὑπερασπιεῖ τὴν πορείαν αὐτῶν (lxx) Pro 2:7 Custodiet rectorum salutem, et proteget gradientes simpliciter,(vulgate) Pro 2:7 Er läßt's den Aufrichtigen gelingen und beschirmt die Frommen(dhs) Pro 2:7 He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly;(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 2:8 ============ Pro 2:8 Guarding the paths of justice, And He preserves the way of His godly ones.(nasb) Pro 2:8 τοῦ φυλάξαι ὁδοὺς δικαιωμάτων καὶ ὁδὸν εὐλαβουμένων αὐτὸν διαφυλάξει (lxx) Pro 2:8 servans semitas justitiæ, et vias sanctorum custodiens.(vulgate) Pro 2:8 und behütet die, so recht tun, und bewahrt den Weg seiner Heiligen.(dhs) Pro 2:8 He guards the paths of justice, And preserves the way of His saints.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 2:9 ============ Pro 2:9 Then you will discern righteousness and justice And equity and every good course.(nasb) Pro 2:9 τότε συνήσεις δικαιοσύνην καὶ κρίμα καὶ κατορθώσεις πάντας ἄξονας ἀγαθούς (lxx) Pro 2:9 Tunc intelliges justitiam, et judicium, et æquitatem, et omnem semitam bonam.]~(vulgate) Pro 2:9 Alsdann wirst du verstehen Gerechtigkeit und Recht und Frömmigkeit und allen guten Weg.(dhs) Pro 2:9 Then you will understand righteousness and justice, Equity and every good path.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 2:10 ============ Pro 2:10 For wisdom will enter your heart And knowledge will be pleasant to your soul;(nasb) Pro 2:10 ἐὰν γὰρ ἔλθῃ ἡ σοφία εἰς σὴν διάνοιαν ἡ δὲ αἴσθησις τῇ σῇ ψυχῇ καλὴ εἶναι δόξῃ (lxx) Pro 2:10 [Si intraverit sapientia cor tuum, et scientia animæ tuæ placuerit,(vulgate) Pro 2:10 Denn Weisheit wird in dein Herz eingehen, daß du gerne lernst;(dhs) Pro 2:10 When wisdom enters your heart, And knowledge is pleasant to your soul,(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 2:11 ============ Pro 2:11 Discretion will guard you, Understanding will watch over you,(nasb) Pro 2:11 βουλὴ καλὴ φυλάξει σε ἔννοια δὲ ὁσία τηρήσει σε (lxx) Pro 2:11 consilium custodiet te, et prudentia servabit te:(vulgate) Pro 2:11 guter Rat wird dich bewahren, und Verstand wird dich behüten,(dhs) Pro 2:11 Discretion will preserve you; Understanding will keep you,(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 2:12 ============ Pro 2:12 To deliver you from the way of evil, From the man who speaks perverse things;(nasb) Pro 2:12 ἵνα ῥύσηταί σε ἀπὸ ὁδοῦ κακῆς καὶ ἀπὸ ἀνδρὸς λαλοῦντος μηδὲν πιστόν (lxx) Pro 2:12 ut eruaris a via mala, et ab homine qui perversa loquitur;(vulgate) Pro 2:12 daß du nicht geratest auf den Weg der Bösen noch unter die verkehrten Schwätzer,(dhs) Pro 2:12 To deliver you from the way of evil, From the man who speaks perverse things,(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 2:13 ============ Pro 2:13 From those who leave the paths of uprightness To walk in the ways of darkness;(nasb) Pro 2:13 ὦ οἱ ἐγκαταλείποντες ὁδοὺς εὐθείας τοῦ πορεύεσθαι ἐν ὁδοῖς σκότους (lxx) Pro 2:13 qui relinquunt iter rectum, et ambulant per vias tenebrosas;(vulgate) Pro 2:13 die da verlassen die rechte Bahn und gehen finstere Wege,(dhs) Pro 2:13 From those who leave the paths of uprightness To walk in the ways of darkness;(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 2:14 ============ Pro 2:14 Who delight in doing evil And rejoice in the perversity of evil;(nasb) Pro 2:14 οἱ εὐφραινόμενοι ἐπὶ κακοῖς καὶ χαίροντες ἐπὶ διαστροφῇ κακῇ (lxx) Pro 2:14 qui lætantur cum malefecerint, et exsultant in rebus pessimis;(vulgate) Pro 2:14 die sich freuen, Böses zu tun, und sind fröhlich in ihrem bösen, verkehrten Wesen,(dhs) Pro 2:14 Who rejoice in doing evil, And delight in the perversity of the wicked;(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 2:15 ============ Pro 2:15 Whose paths are crooked, And who are devious in their ways;(nasb) Pro 2:15 ὧν αἱ τρίβοι σκολιαὶ καὶ καμπύλαι αἱ τροχιαὶ αὐτῶν (lxx) Pro 2:15 quorum viæ perversæ sunt, et infames gressus eorum.(vulgate) Pro 2:15 welche ihren Weg verkehren und folgen ihrem Abwege;(dhs) Pro 2:15 Whose ways are crooked, And who are devious in their paths;(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 2:16 ============ Pro 2:16 To deliver you from the strange woman, From the adulteress who flatters with her words;(nasb) Pro 2:16 τοῦ μακράν σε ποιῆσαι ἀπὸ ὁδοῦ εὐθείας καὶ ἀλλότριον τῆς δικαίας γνώμης (lxx) Pro 2:16 Ut eruaris a muliere aliena, et ab extranea quæ mollit sermones suos,(vulgate) Pro 2:16 daß du nicht geratest an eines andern Weib, an eine Fremde, die glatte Worte gibt(dhs) Pro 2:16 To deliver you from the immoral woman, From the seductress who flatters with her words,(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 2:17 ============ Pro 2:17 That leaves the companion of her youth And forgets the covenant of her God;(nasb) Pro 2:17 υἱέ μή σε καταλάβῃ κακὴ βουλὴ ἡ ἀπολείπουσα διδασκαλίαν νεότητος καὶ διαθήκην θείαν ἐπιλελησμένη (lxx) Pro 2:17 et relinquit ducem pubertatis suæ,(vulgate) Pro 2:17 und verläßt den Freund ihrer Jugend und vergißt den Bund ihres Gottes(dhs) Pro 2:17 Who forsakes the companion of her youth, And forgets the covenant of her God.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 2:18 ============ Pro 2:18 For her house sinks down to death And her tracks lead to the dead;(nasb) Pro 2:18 ἔθετο γὰρ παρὰ τῷ θανάτῳ τὸν οἶκον αὐτῆς καὶ παρὰ τῷ ᾅδῃ μετὰ τῶν γηγενῶν τοὺς ἄξονας αὐτῆς (lxx) Pro 2:18 et pacti Dei sui oblita est. Inclinata est enim ad mortem domus ejus, et ad inferos semitæ ipsius.(vulgate) Pro 2:18 (denn ihr Haus neigt sich zum Tod und ihre Gänge zu den Verlorenen;(dhs) Pro 2:18 For her house leads down to death, And her paths to the dead;(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 2:19 ============ Pro 2:19 None who go to her return again, Nor do they reach the paths of life.(nasb) Pro 2:19 πάντες οἱ πορευόμενοι ἐν αὐτῇ οὐκ ἀναστρέψουσιν οὐδὲ μὴ καταλάβωσιν τρίβους εὐθείας οὐ γὰρ καταλαμβάνονται ὑπὸ ἐνιαυτῶν ζωῆς (lxx) Pro 2:19 Omnes qui ingrediuntur ad eam non revertentur, nec apprehendent semitas vitæ.(vulgate) Pro 2:19 alle, die zu ihr eingehen, kommen nicht wieder und ergreifen den Weg des Lebens nicht);(dhs) Pro 2:19 None who go to her return, Nor do they regain the paths of life--(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 2:20 ============ Pro 2:20 So you will walk in the way of good men And keep to the paths of the righteous.(nasb) Pro 2:20 εἰ γὰρ ἐπορεύοντο τρίβους ἀγαθάς εὕροσαν ἂν τρίβους δικαιοσύνης λείους (lxx) Pro 2:20 Ut ambules in via bona, et calles justorum custodias:(vulgate) Pro 2:20 auf daß du wandelst auf gutem Wege und bleibst auf der rechten Bahn.(dhs) Pro 2:20 So you may walk in the way of goodness, And keep to the paths of righteousness.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 2:21 ============ Pro 2:21 For the upright will live in the land And the blameless will remain in it;(nasb) Pro 2:21 χρηστοὶ ἔσονται οἰκήτορες γῆς ἄκακοι δὲ ὑπολειφθήσονται ἐν αὐτῇ ὅτι εὐθεῖς κατασκηνώσουσι γῆν καὶ ὅσιοι ὑπολειφθήσονται ἐν αὐτῇ (lxx) Pro 2:21 qui enim recti sunt habitabunt in terra, et simplices permanebunt in ea;(vulgate) Pro 2:21 Denn die Gerechten werden im Lande wohnen, und die Frommen werden darin bleiben;(dhs) Pro 2:21 For the upright will dwell in the land, And the blameless will remain in it;(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 2:22 ============ Pro 2:22 But the wicked will be cut off from the land And the treacherous will be uprooted from it.(nasb) Pro 2:22 ὁδοὶ ἀσεβῶν ἐκ γῆς ὀλοῦνται οἱ δὲ παράνομοι ἐξωσθήσονται ἀπ᾽ αὐτῆς (lxx) Pro 2:22 impii vero de terra perdentur, et qui inique agunt auferentur ex ea.](vulgate) Pro 2:22 aber die Gottlosen werden aus dem Lande ausgerottet, und die Verächter werden daraus vertilgt.(dhs) Pro 2:22 But the wicked will be cut off from the earth, And the unfaithful will be uprooted from it.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:1 ============ top of the page
