denn sie kennen seine Stimme.(dhs) Jn 10:4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.(nkjv) ======= John 10:5 ============ Jn 10:5 A stranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers."(nasb) Jn 10:5 ἀλλοτρίῳ δὲ οὐ μὴ ἀκολουθήσουσιν ἀλλὰ φεύξονται ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ, ὅτι οὐκ οἴδασιν τῶν ἀλλοτρίων τὴν φωνήν.(Nestle-Aland) Jn 10:5 Alienum autem non sequuntur, sed fugiunt ab eo: quia non noverunt vocem alienorum.(vulgate) Jn 10:5 Einem Fremden aber folgen sie nicht nach, sondern fliehen von ihm; denn sie kennen der Fremden Stimme nicht.(dhs) Jn 10:5 Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers."(nkjv) ======= John 10:6 ============ Jn 10:6 This figure of speech Jesus spoke to them, but they did not understand what those things were which He had been saying to them.(nasb) Jn 10:6 ταύτην τὴν παροιμίαν εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ὁ ἰησοῦς· ἐκεῖνοι δὲ οὐκ ἔγνωσαν τίνα ἦν ἃ ἐλάλει αὐτοῖς.(Nestle-Aland) Jn 10:6 Hoc proverbium dixit eis Jesus: illi autem non cognoverunt quid loqueretur eis.(vulgate) Jn 10:6 Diesen Spruch sagte Jesus zu ihnen; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.(nasb) Jn 10:9 ἐγώ εἰμι ἡ θύρα· δι᾽ ἐμοῦ ἐάν τις εἰσέλθῃ σωθήσεται καὶ εἰσελεύσεται καὶ ἐξελεύσεται καὶ νομὴν εὑρήσει.(Nestle-Aland) Jn 10:9 Ego sum ostium. Per me si quis introierit, salvabitur: et ingredietur, et egredietur, et pascua inveniet.(vulgate) Jn 10:9 Ich bin die Tür; so jemand durch mich eingeht, der wird selig werden und wird ein und aus gehen und Weide finden.(dhs) Jn 10:9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.(nkjv) ======= John 10:10 ============ Jn 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.(nasb) Jn 10:10 ὁ κλέπτης οὐκ ἔρχεται εἰ μὴ ἵνα κλέψῃ καὶ θύσῃ καὶ ἀπολέσῃ· ἐγὼ ἦλθον ἵνα ζωὴν ἔχωσιν καὶ περισσὸν ἔχωσιν.(Nestle-Aland) Jn 10:10 Fur non venit nisi ut furetur, et mactet, et perdat. Ego veni ut vitam habeant, et abundantius habeant.(vulgate) Jn 10:10 Ein Dieb kommt nur, daß er stehle, würge und umbringe.(dhs) Jn 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.(nkjv) ======= John 10:11 ============ Jn 10:11 "I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.(nasb) Jn 10:11 ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ ποιμὴν ὁ καλός· ὁ ποιμὴν ὁ καλὸς τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ τίθησιν ὑπὲρ τῶν προβάτων·(Nestle-Aland) Jn 10:11 Ego sum pastor bonus. Bonus pastor animam suam dat pro ovibus suis.(vulgate) Jn 10:11 Ich bin gekommen, daß sie das Leben und volle Genüge haben sollen.(dhs) Jn 10:11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.(nkjv) ======= John 10:12 ============ Jn 10:12 He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them.(nasb) Jn 10:12 ὁ μισθωτὸς καὶ οὐκ ὢν ποιμήν, οὖ οὐκ ἔστιν τὰ πρόβατα ἴδια, θεωρεῖ τὸν λύκον ἐρχόμενον καὶ ἀφίησιν τὰ πρόβατα καὶ φεύγει _ καὶ ὁ λύκος ἁρπάζει αὐτὰ καὶ σκορπίζει _(Nestle-Aland) Jn 10:12 Mercenarius autem, et qui non est pastor, cujus non sunt oves propriæ, videt lupum venientem, et dimittit oves, et fugit: et lupus rapit, et dispergit oves;(vulgate) Jn 10:12 Ich bin der gute Hirte. Der gute Hirte läßt sein Leben für seine Schafe. Der Mietling aber, der nicht Hirte ist, des die Schafe nicht eigen sind, sieht den Wolf kommen und verläßt die Schafe und flieht; und der Wolf erhascht und zerstreut die Schafe.(dhs) Jn 10:12 But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them.(nkjv) ======= John 10:13 ============ Jn 10:13 He flees because he is a hired hand and is not concerned about the sheep.(nasb) Jn 10:13 ὅτι μισθωτός ἐστιν καὶ οὐ μέλει αὐτῶ περὶ τῶν προβάτων.(Nestle-Aland) Jn 10:13 mercenarius autem fugit, quia mercenarius est, et non pertinet ad eum de ovibus.(vulgate) Jn 10:13 Der Mietling aber flieht; denn er ist ein Mietling und achtet der Schafe nicht.(dhs) Jn 10:13 The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep.(nkjv) ======= John 10:14 ============ Jn 10:14 I am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me,(nasb) Jn 10:14 ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ ποιμὴν ὁ καλός, καὶ γινώσκω τὰ ἐμὰ καὶ γινώσκουσί με τὰ ἐμά,(Nestle-Aland) Jn 10:14 Ego sum pastor bonus: et cognosco meas, et cognoscunt me meæ.(vulgate) Jn 10:14 Ich bin der gute Hirte und erkenne die Meinen und bin bekannt den Meinen,(dhs) Jn 10:14 I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.(nkjv) ======= John 10:15 ============ Jn 10:15 even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.(nasb) Jn 10:15 καθὼς γινώσκει με ὁ πατὴρ κἀγὼ γινώσκω τὸν πατέρα· καὶ τὴν ψυχήν μου τίθημι ὑπὲρ τῶν προβάτων.(Nestle-Aland) Jn 10:15 Sicut novit me Pater, et ego agnosco Patrem: et animam meam pono pro ovibus meis.(vulgate) Jn 10:15 wie mich mein Vater kennt und ich kenne den Vater. Why do you listen to Him?"(nasb) Jn 10:20 ἔλεγον δὲ πολλοὶ ἐξ αὐτῶν, δαιμόνιον ἔχει καὶ μαίνεται· τί αὐτοῦ ἀκούετε;(Nestle-Aland) Jn 10:20 Dicebant autem multi ex ipsis: Dæmonium habet, et insanit: quid eum auditis?(vulgate) Jn 10:20 Viele unter ihnen sprachen: Er hat den Teufel und ist unsinnig; was höret ihr ihm zu?(dhs) Jn 10:20 And many of them said, "He has a demon and is mad.
