getan, lieber Theophilus, von alle dem, das Jesus anfing, beides, zu tun und zu lehren,(dhs) Act 1:1 The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,(nkjv) ======= Acts 1:2 ============ Act 1:2 until the day when He was taken up to heaven, after He had by the Holy Spirit given orders to the apostles whom He had chosen.(nasb) Act 1:2 ἄχρι ἧς ἡμέρας ἐντειλάμενος τοῖς ἀποστόλοις διὰ πνεύματος ἁγίου οὓς ἐξελέξατο ἀνελήμφθη·(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:2 usque in diem qua præcipiens Apostolis per Spiritum Sanctum, quos elegit, assumptus est:(vulgate) Act convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God.(nasb) Act 1:3 οἷς καὶ παρέστησεν ἑαυτὸν ζῶντα μετὰ τὸ παθεῖν αὐτὸν ἐν πολλοῖς τεκμηρίοις, δι᾽ ἡμερῶν τεσσεράκοντα ὀπτανόμενος αὐτοῖς καὶ λέγων τὰ περὶ τῆς βασιλείας τοῦ θεοῦ.(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:3 quibus et præbuit seipsum vivum post passionem suam in multis argumentis, per dies quadraginta apparens eis, et loquens de regno Dei.~(vulgate) Act 1:3 welchen er sich nach seinem Leiden lebendig erzeigt hatte durch mancherlei Erweisungen, und ließ sich sehen unter ihnen vierzig Tage lang und redete mit ihnen vom Reich Gottes.(dhs) Act 1:3 to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and μου·(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:4 Et convescens, præcepit eis ab Jerosolymis ne discederent, sed exspectarent promissionem Patris, quam audistis (inquit) per os meum:(vulgate) Act 1:4 Und als er sie versammelt hatte, befahl er ihnen, daß sie nicht von Jerusalem wichen, sondern warteten auf die Verheißung des Vaters, welche ihr habt gehört (sprach er) von mir;(dhs) Act 1:4 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, "which," He said, "you have heard from Me;(nkjv) ======= Acts 1:5 ============ Act 1:5 for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now."(nasb) Act 1:5 ὅτι ἰωάννης μὲν ἐβάπτισεν ὕδατι, ὑμεῖς δὲ ἐν πνεύματι βαπτισθήσεσθε ἁγίῳ οὐ μετὰ πολλὰς ταύτας ἡμέρας.(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:5 quia Joannes quidem baptizavit aqua, vos autem baptizabimini Spiritu Sancto non post multos hos dies.(vulgate) Act 1:5 denn Johannes hat mit Wasser getauft, ihr aber sollt mit dem Heiligen Geist getauft werden nicht lange nach diesen Tagen.(dhs) Act 1:5 for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now."(nkjv) ======= Acts 1:6 ============ Act 1:6 So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, "Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?"(nasb) Act 1:6 οἱ μὲν οὗν συνελθόντες ἠρώτων αὐτὸν λέγοντες, κύριε, εἰ ἐν τῶ χρόνῳ τούτῳ ἀποκαθιστάνεις τὴν βασιλείαν τῶ ἰσραήλ;(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:6 Igitur qui convenerant, interrogabant eum, dicentes: Domine, si in tempore hoc restitues regnum Israël?(vulgate) Act 1:6 Die aber, so zusammengekommen waren, fragten ihn und sprachen: HERR, wirst du auf diese Zeit wieder aufrichten das Reich Israel?(dhs) Act 1:6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, "Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?"(nkjv) ======= Acts 1:7 ============ Act 1:7 He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority;(nasb) Act 1:7 εἶπεν δὲ πρὸς αὐτούς, οὐχ ὑμῶν ἐστιν γνῶναι χρόνους ἢ καιροὺς οὓς ὁ πατὴρ ἔθετο ἐν τῇ ἰδίᾳ ἐξουσίᾳ·(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:7 Dixit autem eis: Non est vestrum nosse tempora vel momenta quæ Pater posuit in sua potestate:(vulgate) Act 1:7 Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Es gebührt euch nicht, zu wissen Zeit oder Stunde, welche der Vater seiner Macht vorbehalten hat;(dhs) Act 1:7 And He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.(nkjv) ======= Acts 1:8 ============ Act 1:8 but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth."(nasb) Act 1:8 ἀλλὰ λήμψεσθε δύναμιν ἐπελθόντος τοῦ ἁγίου πνεύματος ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς, καὶ ἔσεσθέ μου μάρτυρες ἔν τε ἰερουσαλὴμ καὶ [ἐν] πάσῃ τῇ ἰουδαίᾳ καὶ σαμαρείᾳ καὶ ἕως ἐσχάτου τῆς γῆς.(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:8 sed accipietis virtutem supervenientis Spiritus Sancti in vos, et eritis mihi testes in Jerusalem, et in omni Judæa, et Samaria, et usque ad ultimum terræ.~(vulgate) Act 1:8 sondern ihr werdet die Kraft des Heiligen Geistes empfangen, welcher auf euch kommen wird, und werdet meine Zeugen sein zu Jerusalem und in ganz Judäa und Samarien und bis an das Ende der ======= Acts 1:9 ============ Act 1:9 And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.(nasb) Act 1:9 καὶ ταῦτα εἰπὼν βλεπόντων αὐτῶν ἐπήρθη, καὶ νεφέλη ὑπέλαβεν αὐτὸν ἀπὸ τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν αὐτῶν.(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:9 Et cum hæc dixisset, videntibus illis, elevatus est: et nubes suscepit eum ab oculis eorum.(vulgate) Act 1:9 Und da er solches gesagt, ward er aufgehoben zusehends, und eine Wolke nahm ihn auf vor ihren Augen weg.(dhs) Act 1:9 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.(nkjv) ======= Acts 1:10 ============ Act 1:10 And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them.(nasb) Act 1:10 καὶ ὡς ἀτενίζοντες ἦσαν εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν πορευομένου αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἰδοὺ ἄνδρες δύο παρειστήκεισαν αὐτοῖς ἐν ἐσθήσεσι λευκαῖς,(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:10 Cumque intuerentur in cælum euntem illum, ecce duo viri astiterunt juxta illos in vestibus albis,(vulgate) Act 1:10 Und als sie ihm nachsahen, wie er gen Himmel fuhr, siehe, da standen bei ihnen zwei Männer in weißen Kleidern,(dhs) Act 1:10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel,(nkjv) ======= Acts 1:11 ============ Act 1:11 They also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven."(nasb) Act 1:11 οἳ καὶ εἶπαν, ἄνδρες γαλιλαῖοι, τί ἑστήκατε [ἐμ]βλέποντες εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν; οὖτος ὁ ἰησοῦς ὁ ἀναλημφθεὶς ἀφ᾽ ὑμῶν εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν οὕτως ἐλεύσεται ὃν τρόπον ἐθεάσασθε αὐτὸν πορευόμενον εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν.(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:11 qui et dixerunt: Viri Galilæi, quid statis aspicientes in cælum? Hic Jesus, qui assumptus est a vobis in cælum, sic veniet quemadmodum vidistis eum euntem in cælum.~(vulgate) Act 1:11 welche auch sagten: Ihr Männer von Galiläa, was stehet ihr und sehet gen Himmel? Dieser Jesus, welcher von euch ist aufgenommen gen Himmel, wird kommen, wie ihr ihn gesehen habt gen Himmel fahren.(dhs) Act 1:11 who also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven."(nkjv) ======= Acts 1:12 ============ Act 1:12 Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day's journey away.(nasb) Act 1:12 τότε ὑπέστρεψαν εἰς ἰερουσαλὴμ ἀπὸ ὄρους τοῦ καλουμένου ἐλαιῶνος, ὅ ἐστιν ἐγγὺς ἰερουσαλὴμ σαββάτου ἔχον ὁδόν.(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:12 Tunc reversi sunt Jerosolymam a monte qui vocatur Oliveti, qui est juxta Jerusalem, sabbati habens iter.(vulgate) Act 1:12 Da wandten sie um gen Jerusalem von dem Berge, der da heißt Ölberg, welcher ist nahe bei Jerusalem und liegt einen Sabbatweg davon.(dhs) Act 1:12 Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day's journey.(nkjv) ======= Acts 1:13 ============ Act 1:13 When they had entered the city, they went up to the upper room where they were staying; that is, Peter and John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon the Zealot, and Judas the son of James.(nasb) Act 1:13 καὶ ὅτε εἰσῆλθον, εἰς τὸ ὑπερῶον ἀνέβησαν οὖ ἦσαν καταμένοντες, ὅ τε πέτρος καὶ ἰωάννης καὶ ἰάκωβος καὶ ἀνδρέας, φίλιππος καὶ θωμᾶς, βαρθολομαῖος καὶ μαθθαῖος, ἰάκωβος ἁλφαίου καὶ σίμων ὁ ζηλωτὴς καὶ ἰούδας ἰακώβου.(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:13 Et cum introissent in cœnaculum, ascenderunt ubi manebant Petrus, et Joannes, Jacobus, et Andreas, Philippus, et Thomas, Bartholomæus, et Matthæus, Jacobus Alphæi, et Simon Zelotes, et Judas Jacobi.(vulgate) Act 1:13 Und als sie hineinkamen, stiegen sie auf den Söller, da denn sich aufhielten Petrus und Jakobus, Johannes und Andreas, Philippus und Thomas, Bartholomäus und Matthäus, Jakobus, des Alphäus Sohn, und Simon Zelotes und Judas, des Jakobus Sohn.(dhs) Act 1:13 And when they had entered, they went up into the upper room where they were staying: Peter, James, John, and Andrew; Philip and Thomas; Bartholomew and Matthew; James the son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot; and Judas the son of James.(nkjv) ======= Acts 1:14 ============ Act 1:14 These all with one mind were continually devoting themselves to prayer, along with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.(nasb) Act 1:14 οὖτοι πάντες ἦσαν προσκαρτεροῦντες ὁμοθυμαδὸν τῇ προσευχῇ σὺν γυναιξὶν καὶ μαριὰμ τῇ μητρὶ τοῦ ἰησοῦ καὶ τοῖς ἀδελφοῖς αὐτοῦ.(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:14 Hi omnes erant perseverantes unanimiter in oratione cum mulieribus, et Maria matre Jesu, et fratribus ejus.~(vulgate) Act 1:14 Diese alle waren stets beieinander einmütig mit Beten und Flehen samt den Weibern und Maria, der Mutter Jesus, und seinen Brüdern.(dhs) Act 1:14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.(nkjv) ======= Acts 1:15 ============ Act 1:15 At this time Peter stood up in the midst of the brethren (a gathering of about one hundred and twenty persons was there together), and said,(nasb) Act 1:15 καὶ ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ταύταις ἀναστὰς πέτρος ἐν μέσῳ τῶν ἀδελφῶν εἶπεν ἦν τε ὄχλος ὀνομάτων ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ ὡσεὶ ἑκατὸν εἴκοσι,(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:15 In diebus illis, exsurgens Petrus in medio fratrum, dixit (erat autem turba hominum simul, fere centum viginti):(vulgate) Act 1:15 Und in den Tagen trat auf Petrus unter die Jünger und sprach (es war aber eine Schar zuhauf bei hundertundzwanzig Namen):(dhs) Act 1:15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples (altogether the number of names was about a hundred and twenty), and said,(nkjv) ======= Acts 1:16 ============ Act 1:16 "Brethren, the Scripture had to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit foretold by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus.(nasb) Act 1:16 ἄνδρες ἀδελφοί, ἔδει πληρωθῆναι τὴν γραφὴν ἣν προεῖπεν τὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιον διὰ στόματος δαυὶδ περὶ ἰούδα τοῦ γενομένου ὁδηγοῦ τοῖς συλλαβοῦσιν ἰησοῦν,(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:16 Viri fratres, oportet impleri Scripturam quam prædixit Spiritus Sanctus per os David de Juda, qui fuit dux eorum qui comprehenderunt Jesum:(vulgate) Act 1:16 Ihr Männer und Brüder, es mußte die Schrift erfüllet werden, welche zuvor gesagt hat der Heilige Geist durch den Mund Davids von Judas, der ein Führer war derer, die Jesus fingen;(dhs) Act 1:16 "Men and brethren, this Scripture had to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke before by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus;(nkjv) ======= Acts 1:17 ============ Act 1:17 For he was counted among us and received his share in this ministry."(nasb) Act 1:17 ὅτι κατηριθμημένος ἦν ἐν ἡμῖν καὶ ἔλαχεν τὸν κλῆρον τῆς διακονίας ταύτης.(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:17 qui connumeratus erat in nobis, et sortitus est sortem ministerii hujus.(vulgate) Act 1:17 denn er war zu uns gezählt und hatte dies Amt mit uns überkommen.(dhs) Act 1:17 for he was numbered with us and obtained a part in this ministry."(nkjv) ======= Acts 1:18 ============ Act 1:18 (Now this man acquired a field with the price of his wickedness, and falling headlong, he burst open in the middle and all his intestines gushed out.(nasb) Act 1:18 οὖτος μὲν οὗν ἐκτήσατο χωρίον ἐκ μισθοῦ τῆς ἀδικίας, καὶ πρηνὴς γενόμενος ἐλάκησεν μέσος, καὶ ἐξεχύθη πάντα τὰ σπλάγχνα αὐτοῦ.(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:18 Et hic quidem possedit agrum de mercede iniquitatis, et suspensus crepuit medius: et diffusa sunt omnia viscera ejus.(vulgate) Act 1:18 Dieser hat erworben den Acker um den ungerechten Lohn und ist abgestürzt und mitten entzweigeborsten, und all sein Eingeweide ausgeschüttet.(dhs) Act 1:18 (Now this man purchased a field with the wages of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst open in the middle and all his entrails gushed out.(nkjv) ======= Acts 1:19 ============ Act 1:19 And it became known to all who were living in Jerusalem; so that in their own language that field was called Hakeldama, that is, Field of Blood. )(nasb) Act 1:19 καὶ γνωστὸν ἐγένετο πᾶσι τοῖς κατοικοῦσιν ἰερουσαλήμ, ὥστε κληθῆναι τὸ χωρίον ἐκεῖνο τῇ ἰδίᾳ διαλέκτῳ αὐτῶν ἁκελδαμάχ, τοῦτ᾽ ἔστιν, χωρίον αἵματος.(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:19 Et notum factum est omnibus habitantibus Jerusalem, ita ut appellaretur ager ille, lingua eorum, Haceldama, hoc est, ager sanguinis.(vulgate) Act 1:19 Und es ist kund geworden allen, die zu Jerusalem wohnen, also daß dieser Acker genannt wird auf ihrer Sprache: Hakeldama (das ist: ein Blutacker).(dhs) Act 1:19 And it became known to all those dwelling in Jerusalem; so that field is called in their own language, Akel Dama, that is, Field of Blood.)(nkjv) ======= Acts 1:20 ============ Act 1:20 "For it is written in the book of Psalms, 'LET HIS HOMESTEAD BE MADE DESOLATE, AND LET NO ONE DWELL IN IT'; and, 'LET ANOTHER MAN TAKE HIS OFFICE.'(nasb) Act 1:20 γέγραπται γὰρ ἐν βίβλῳ ψαλμῶν, γενηθήτω ἡ ἔπαυλις αὐτοῦ ἔρημος καὶ μὴ ἔστω ὁ κατοικῶν ἐν αὐτῇ, καί, τὴν ἐπισκοπὴν αὐτοῦ λαβέτω ἕτερος.(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:20 Scriptum est enim in libro Psalmorum: Fiat commoratio eorum deserta, et non sit qui inhabitet in ea: et episcopatum ejus accipiat alter.(vulgate) Act 1:20 Denn es steht geschrieben im Psalmbuch: "Seine Behausung müsse wüst werden, und sei niemand, der darin wohne", und: "Sein Bistum empfange ein anderer."(dhs) Act 1:20 "For it is written in the book of Psalms: 'Let his dwelling place be desolate, And let no one live in it'; and he was added to the eleven apostles.(nasb) Act 1:26 καὶ ἔδωκαν κλήρους αὐτοῖς, καὶ ἔπεσεν ὁ κλῆρος ἐπὶ μαθθίαν, καὶ συγκατεψηφίσθη μετὰ τῶν ἕνδεκα ἀποστόλων.(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:26 Et dederunt sortes eis, et cecidit sors super Mathiam: et annumeratus est cum undecim Apostolis.(vulgate) Act 1:26 Und sie warfen das Los über sie, und das Los fiel auf Matthias; und er ward zugeordnet zu den elf Aposteln.(dhs) Act 1:26 And they cast their lots, and the lot fell on Matthias.
