======= Acts 1:2 ============ Act 1:2 until the day when He was taken up to heaven, after He had by the Holy Spirit given orders to the apostles whom He had chosen.(nasb) Act 1:2 ἄχρι ἧς ἡμέρας οὗν συνελθόντες ἠρώτων αὐτὸν λέγοντες, κύριε, εἰ ἐν τῶ χρόνῳ τούτῳ ἀποκαθιστάνεις τὴν βασιλείαν τῶ ἰσραήλ;(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:6 Igitur qui convenerant, interrogabant eum, dicentes: Domine, si in tempore hoc restitues regnum Israël?(vulgate) Act 1:6 Die aber, so zusammengekommen waren, fragten ihn und sprachen: HERR, wirst du auf diese Zeit wieder aufrichten das Reich Israel?(dhs) Act 1:6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, "Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?"(nkjv) ======= Acts 1:7 ============ Act 1:7 He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority;(nasb) Act 1:7 εἶπεν δὲ πρὸς αὐτούς, οὐχ ὑμῶν ἐστιν γνῶναι χρόνους ἢ καιροὺς οὓς ὁ πατὴρ ἔθετο ἐν τῇ ἰδίᾳ ======= Acts 1:8 ============ Act 1:8 but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth."(nasb) Act 1:8 ἀλλὰ λήμψεσθε δύναμιν ἐπελθόντος τοῦ ἁγίου πνεύματος ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς, καὶ ἔσεσθέ μου μάρτυρες ἔν τε ἰερουσαλὴμ καὶ [ἐν] πάσῃ τῇ ἰουδαίᾳ καὶ σαμαρείᾳ καὶ ἕως ἐσχάτου a cloud received Him out of their sight.(nkjv) ======= Acts 1:10 ============ Act 1:10 And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them.(nasb) Act 1:10 καὶ ὡς ἀτενίζοντες ἦσαν εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν πορευομένου αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἰδοὺ ἄνδρες δύο παρειστήκεισαν αὐτοῖς ἐν ἐσθήσεσι λευκαῖς,(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:10 Cumque intuerentur in cælum euntem illum, ecce duo viri astiterunt juxta illos in vestibus albis,(vulgate) Act 1:10 Und als sie ihm nachsahen, wie er gen Himmel fuhr, siehe, da standen bei ihnen zwei Männer in weißen Kleidern,(dhs) Act 1:10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel,(nkjv) ======= Acts 1:11 ============ Act 1:11 They also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven."(nasb) Act 1:11 οἳ καὶ εἶπαν, ἄνδρες γαλιλαῖοι, τί ἑστήκατε [ἐμ]βλέποντες εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν; οὖτος ὁ ἰησοῦς ὁ ἀναλημφθεὶς ἀφ᾽ ὑμῶν εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν οὕτως ἐλεύσεται ὃν τρόπον ἐθεάσασθε αὐτὸν πορευόμενον εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν.(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:11 qui et dixerunt: Viri Galilæi, quid statis aspicientes in cælum? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven."(nkjv) ======= Acts 1:12 ============ Act 1:12 Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day's journey away.(nasb) Act 1:12 τότε ὑπέστρεψαν εἰς ἰερουσαλὴμ ἀπὸ ὄρους τοῦ καλουμένου ἐλαιῶνος, ὅ ἐστιν ἐγγὺς ἰερουσαλὴμ σαββάτου ἔχον ὁδόν.(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:12 Tunc reversi sunt Jerosolymam a monte qui vocatur Oliveti, qui est juxta Jerusalem, sabbati habens iter.(vulgate) Act 1:12 Da wandten sie um gen Jerusalem von dem Berge, der da heißt Ölberg, welcher ist nahe bei Jerusalem und liegt einen Sabbatweg davon.(dhs) Act 1:12 Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day's journey.(nkjv) ======= Acts 1:13 ============ Act 1:13 When they had entered the city, they went up to the upper room where they were staying; and falling headlong, he burst open in the middle and all his entrails gushed out.(nkjv) ======= Acts 1:19 ============ Act 1:19 And it became known to all who were living in Jerusalem; so that in their own language that field was called Hakeldama, that is, Field of Blood. )(nasb) Act 1:19 καὶ γνωστὸν ἐγένετο πᾶσι τοῖς κατοικοῦσιν ἰερουσαλήμ, ὥστε κληθῆναι τὸ χωρίον ἐκεῖνο τῇ ἰδίᾳ διαλέκτῳ αὐτῶν ἁκελδαμάχ, τοῦτ᾽ ἔστιν, χωρίον αἵματος.(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:19 Et notum factum est omnibus habitantibus Jerusalem, ita ut appellaretur ager ille, lingua eorum, Haceldama, hoc est, ager sanguinis.(vulgate) Act 1:19 Und es ist kund geworden allen, die zu Jerusalem wohnen, also daß dieser Acker genannt wird auf ihrer Sprache: Hakeldama (das ist: ein Blutacker).(dhs) Act 1:19 And it became known to all those dwelling in Jerusalem; and he was added to the eleven apostles.(nasb) Act 1:26 καὶ ἔδωκαν κλήρους αὐτοῖς, καὶ ἔπεσεν ὁ κλῆρος ἐπὶ μαθθίαν, καὶ συγκατεψηφίσθη μετὰ τῶν ἕνδεκα ἀποστόλων.(Nestle-Aland) Act 1:26 Et dederunt sortes eis, et cecidit sors super Mathiam: et annumeratus est cum undecim Apostolis.(vulgate) Act 1:26 Und sie warfen das Los über sie, und das Los fiel auf Matthias; und er ward zugeordnet zu den elf Aposteln.(dhs) Act 1:26 And they cast their lots, and the lot fell on Matthias.
