Today's Date: ======= 1 Chronicles 20:1 ============ 1Ch 20:1 Then it happened in the spring, at the time when kings go out to battle, that Joab led out the army and ravaged the land of the sons of Ammon, and came and besieged Rabbah. But David stayed at Jerusalem. And Joab struck Rabbah and overthrew it.(nasb) 1Ch 20:1 Factum est autem post anni circulum, eo tempore quo solent reges ad bella procedere, congregavit Joab exercitum, et robur militiæ, et vastavit terram filiorum Ammon: perrexitque et obsedit Rabba. And it was set on David's head. Also he brought out the spoil of the city in great abundance.(nkjv) ======= 1 Chronicles 20:3 ============ 1Ch 20:3 He brought out the people who were in it, and cut them with saws and with sharp instruments and with axes. And thus David did to all the cities of the sons of Ammon. So David did to all the cities of the people of Ammon.
