And they said, "Go up, for God will give it into the hand of the king."(nasb) 2Ch 18:5 Congregavit igitur rex Israël prophetarum quadringentos viros, et dixit ad eos: In Ramoth Galaad ad bellandum ire debemus, an quiescere? He is Micaiah, son of Imla." But Jehoshaphat said, "Let not the king say so."(nasb) 2Ch 18:7 Et ait rex Israël ad Josaphat: Est vir unus a quo possumus quærere Domini voluntatem: sed ego odi eum, quia non prophetat mihi bonum, sed malum omni tempore: est autem Michæas filius Jemla. Dixitque Josaphat: Ne loquaris, rex, hoc modo.(vulgate) 2 Crónicas 18:7 Y el rey de Israel respondió a Josafat: Aún [hay] aquí un hombre por el cual podemos preguntar a Jehová; mas yo le aborrezco, porque nunca me profetiza cosa buena, sino siempre mal. Éste es Micaías, hijo de Imla. Y respondió Josafat: No hable así el rey.(E) 2 Chroniques 18:7 Le roi d'Israël répondit à Josaphat: Il y a encore un homme par qui l'on pourrait consulter l'Eternel; mais je le hais, car il ne me prophétise rien de bon, il ne prophétise jamais que du mal: c'est Michée, fils de Jimla. Et Josaphat dit: Que le roi ne parle pas ainsi!(F) 2Ch 18:7 Der König Israels sprach zu Josaphat: Es ist noch ein Mann, daß man den HERRN durch ihn frage, aber ich bin ihm gram; denn er weissagt über mich kein Gutes, sondern allewege Böses, nämlich Micha, der Sohn Jemlas. Josaphat sprach: der König rede nicht also.(D) 2Ch 18:7 καὶ εἶπεν βασιλεὺς Ισραηλ πρὸς Ιωσαφατ ἔτι ἀνὴρ εἷς τοῦ ζητῆσαι τὸν κύριον δι᾽ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐγὼ ἐμίσησα αὐτόν ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν προφητεύων περὶ ἐμοῦ εἰς ἀγαθά ὅτι πᾶσαι αἱ ἡμέραι αὐτοῦ εἰς κακά οὗτος Μιχαιας υἱὸς Ιεμλα καὶ εἶπεν Ιωσαφατ μὴ λαλείτω ὁ βασιλεὺς οὕτως(lxx) 2Ch 18:7 So the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, "There is still one man by whom we may inquire of the Lord; but I hate him, because he never prophesies good concerning me, but always evil. So please let your word be like one of them and speak favorably."(nasb) 2Ch 18:12 Nuntius autem qui ierat ad vocandum Michæam, ait illi: En verba omnium prophetarum uno ore bona regi annuntiant: quæso ergo te ut et sermo tuus ab eis non dissentiat, loquarisque prospera.(vulgate) 2 Crónicas 18:12 Y el mensajero que había ido a llamar a Micaías, le habló, diciendo: He aquí las palabras de los profetas a una voz [anuncian] al rey bienes; yo, pues, te ruego que tu palabra sea como la de uno de ellos, que hables bien.(E) 2 Chroniques 18:12 Le messager qui était allé appeler Michée lui parla ainsi: Voici, les prophètes d'un commun accord prophétisent du bien au roi; que ta parole soit donc comme la parole de chacun d'eux! annonce du bien!(F) 2Ch 18:12 Und der Bote, der hingegangen war, Micha zu rufen, redete mit ihm und sprach: Siehe, der Propheten Reden sind einträchtig gut für den König; laß doch dein Wort auch sein wie derselben eines und rede Gutes.(D) 2Ch 18:12 καὶ ὁ ἄγγελος ὁ πορευθεὶς τοῦ καλέσαι τὸν Μιχαιαν ἐλάλησεν αὐτῷ λέγων ἰδοὺ ἐλάλησαν οἱ προφῆται ἐν στόματι ἑνὶ ἀγαθὰ περὶ τοῦ βασιλέως καὶ ἔστωσαν δὴ οἱ λόγοι σου ὡς ἑνὸς αὐτῶν καὶ λαλήσεις ἀγαθά(lxx) 2Ch 18:12 Then the messenger who had gone to call Micaiah spoke to him, saying, "Now listen, the words of the prophets with one accord encourage the king. Therefore please let your word be like the word of one of them, and speak encouragement."(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 18:13 ============ 2Ch 18:13 But Micaiah said, "As the Lord lives, what my God says, that I will speak."(nasb) 2Ch 18:13 Cui respondit Michæas: Vivit Dominus, quia quodcumque dixerit mihi Deus meus, hoc loquar.(vulgate) 2 Crónicas 18:13 Y dijo Micaías: Vive Jehová, que lo que mi Dios me dijere, eso hablaré. He said, "Go up and succeed, for they will be given into your hand."(nasb) 2Ch 18:14 Venit ergo ad regem. Cui rex ait: Michæa, ire debemus in Ramoth Galaad ad bellandum, an quiescere? And he said, "Go and prosper, and they shall be delivered into your hand!"(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 18:15 ============ 2Ch 18:15 Then the king said to him, "How many times must I adjure you to speak to me nothing but the truth in the name of the Lord?"(nasb) 2Ch 18:15 Dixitque rex: Iterum atque iterum te adjuro, ut mihi non loquaris, nisi quod verum est in nomine Domini.(vulgate) 2 Crónicas 18:15 Y el rey le dijo: ¿Hasta cuántas veces te conjuraré por el nombre de Jehová que no me hables sino la verdad?(E) 2 Chroniques 18:15 Et le roi lui dit: Combien de fois me faudra-t-il te faire jurer de ne me dire que la vérité au nom de l'Eternel?(F) 2Ch 18:15 Aber der König sprach zu ihm: Ich beschwöre dich noch einmal, daß du mir nichts denn die Wahrheit sagst im Namen des HERRN.(D) 2Ch 18:15 καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ ὁ βασιλεύς ποσάκις ὁρκίζω σε ἵνα μὴ λαλήσῃς πρός με πλὴν ἀλήθειαν ἐν ὀνόματι κυρίου(lxx) 2Ch 18:15 So the king said to him, "How many times shall I make you swear that you tell me nothing but the truth in the name of the Lord?"(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 18:16 ============ 2Ch 18:16 So he said, "I saw all Israel Scattered on the mountains, Like sheep which have no shepherd; And the Lord said,' These have no master.
