Jer 22:4 For if you men will indeed perform this thing, then kings will enter the gates of this house, sitting in David's place on his throne, riding in chariots and on horses, even the king himself and his servants and his people.(nasb)
Jer 22:4 Si enim facientes feceritis verbum istud, ingredientur per portas domus hujus reges sedentes de genere David super thronum ejus, et ascendentes currus et equos, ipsi, et servi, et populus eorum.(vulgate)

Jer 22:8 And many nations will pass by this city; and everyone will say to his neighbor, 'Why has the Lord done so to this great city?'(nkjv)

Jer 22:9 Then they will answer, 'Because they forsook the covenant of the Lord their God and bowed down to other gods and served them.'"(nasb)
