Today's Date: ======= Jeremiah 38:1 ============ Jer 38:1 Now Shephatiah the son of Mattan, and Gedaliah the son of Pashhur, and Jucal the son of Shelemiah, and Pashhur the son of Malchijah heard the words that Jeremiah was speaking to all the people, saying,(nasb) Jer 38:1 Audivit autem Saphatias filius Mathan, et Gedelias filius Phassur, et Juchal filius Selemiæ, et Phassur filius Melchiæ, sermones quos Jeremias loquebatur ad omnem populum, dicens:(vulgate) Jeremías 38:1 Y oyó Sefatías, hijo de Matán, y Gedalías, hijo de Pasur, y Jucal, hijo de Selemías, y Pasur, hijo de Malquías, las palabras que Jeremías hablaba a todo el pueblo, diciendo:(E) Jérémie 38:1 Schephathia, fils de Matthan, Guedalia, fils de Paschhur, Jucal, fils de Schélémia, et Paschhur, fils de Malkija, entendirent les paroles que Jérémie adressait à tout le peuple, en disant:(F) Jer 38:1 Es hörten aber Sephatja, der Sohn Matthans, und Gedalja, der Sohn Pashurs, und Juchal, der Sohn Selemjas, und Pashur, der Sohn Malchias, die Reden, so Jeremia zu allem Volk redete und sprach:(D) Jer 38:1 ἐν τῷ χρόνῳ ἐκείνῳ εἶπεν κύριος ἔσομαι εἰς θεὸν τῷ γένει Ισραηλ καὶ αὐτοὶ ἔσονταί μοι εἰς λαόν(lxx) Jer 38:1 Now Shephatiah the son of Mattan, Gedaliah the son of Pashhur, Jucal the son of Shelemiah, and Pashhur the son of Malchiah heard the words that Jeremiah had spoken to all the people, saying,(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 38:2 ============ Jer 38:2 "Thus says the Lord, 'He who stays in this city will die by the sword and by famine and by pestilence, but he who goes out to the Chaldeans will live and have his own life as booty and stay alive.'(nasb) Jer 38:2 Hæc dicit Dominus: Quicumque manserit in civitate hac, morietur gladio, et fame, et peste: qui autem profugerit ad Chaldæos, vivet, et erit anima ejus sospes et vivens.(vulgate) Jeremías 38:2 Así dice Jehová: El que se quede en esta ciudad morirá a espada, o de hambre, o de pestilencia; mas el que se pase a los caldeos vivirá, pues su vida le será por despojo, y vivirá.(E) Jérémie 38:2 Ainsi parle l'Eternel: Celui qui restera dans cette ville mourra par l'épée, par la famine ou par la peste; mais celui qui sortira pour se rendre aux Chaldéens, aura la vie sauve, sa vie sera son butin, et il vivra.(F) Jer 38:2 So spricht der HERR: Wer in dieser Stadt bleibt, der wird durch Schwert, Hunger und Pestilenz sterben müssen; wer aber hinausgeht zu den Chaldäern, der soll lebend bleiben und wird sein Leben wie eine Beute davonbringen.(D) Jer 38:2 οὕτως εἶπεν κύριος εὗρον θερμὸν ἐν ἐρήμῳ μετὰ ὀλωλότων ἐν μαχαίρᾳ βαδίσατε καὶ μὴ ὀλέσητε τὸν Ισραηλ(lxx) Jer 38:2 "Thus says the Lord: 'He who remains in this city shall die by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence; but he who goes over to the Chaldeans shall live; his life shall be as a prize to him, and he shall live.'(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 38:3 ============ Jer 38:3 Thus says the Lord, 'This city will certainly be given into the hand of the army of the king of Babylon and he will capture it.'"(nasb) Jer 38:3 Hæc dicit Dominus: Tradendo tradetur civitas hæc in manu exercitus regis Babylonis, et capiet eam.(vulgate) Jeremías 38:3 Así dice Jehová: De cierto será entregada esta ciudad en mano del ejército del rey de Babilonia, y la tomará.(E) Jérémie 38:3 Ainsi parle l'Eternel: Cette ville sera livrée à l'armée du roi de Babylone, qui la prendra.(F) Jer 38:3 Denn also spricht der HERR: Diese Stadt soll übergeben werden dem Heer des Königs zu Babel, und sie sollen sie gewinnen.(D) Jer 38:3 κύριος πόρρωθεν ὤφθη αὐτῷ ἀγάπησιν αἰωνίαν ἠγάπησά σε διὰ τοῦτο εἵλκυσά σε εἰς οἰκτίρημα(lxx) Jer 38:3 Thus says the Lord: 'This city shall surely be given into the hand of the king of Babylon's army, which shall take it.' "(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 38:4 ============ Jer 38:4 Then the officials said to the king, "Now let this man be put to death, inasmuch as he is discouraging the men of war who are left in this city and all the people, by speaking such words to them; for this man is not seeking the well-being of this people but rather their harm."(nasb) Jer 38:4 Et dixerunt principes regi: Rogamus ut occidatur homo iste: de industria enim dissolvit manus virorum bellantium qui remanserunt in civitate hac, et manus universi populi, loquens ad eos juxta verba hæc: siquidem homo iste non quærit pacem populo huic, sed malum.(vulgate) Jeremías 38:4 Y dijeron los príncipes al rey: Te pedimos que sea muerto este hombre; porque de esta manera hace desmayar las manos de los hombres de guerra que han quedado en esta ciudad, y las manos de todo el pueblo, hablándoles tales palabras; porque este hombre no busca la paz de este pueblo, sino el mal.(E) Jérémie 38:4 Et les chefs dirent au roi: Que cet homme soit mis à mort! car il décourage les hommes de guerre qui restent dans cette ville, et tout le peuple, en leur tenant de pareils discours; cet homme ne cherche pas le bien de ce peuple, il ne veut que son malheur.(F) Jer 38:4 Da sprachen die Fürsten zum König: Laß doch diesen Mann töten; denn mit der Weise wendet er die Kriegsleute ab, so noch übrig sind in der Stadt, desgleichen das ganze Volk auch, weil er solche Worte zu ihnen sagt. Denn der Mann sucht nicht, was diesem Volk zum Frieden, sondern zum Unglück dient.(D) Jer 38:4 ἔτι οἰκοδομήσω σε καὶ οἰκοδομηθήσῃ παρθένος Ισραηλ ἔτι λήμψῃ τύμπανόν σου καὶ ἐξελεύσῃ μετὰ συναγωγῆς παιζόντων(lxx) Jer 38:4 Therefore the princes said to the king, "Please, let this man be put to death, for thus he weakens the hands of the men of war who remain in this city, and the hands of all the people, by speaking such words to them. For this man does not seek the welfare of this people, but their harm."(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 38:5 ============ Jer 38:5 So King Zedekiah said, "Behold, he is in your hands; for the king can do nothing against you."(nasb) Jer 38:5 Et dixit rex Sedecias: Ecce ipse in manibus vestris est: nec enim fas est regem vobis quidquam negare.(vulgate) Jeremías 38:5 Y dijo el rey Sedequías: Helo ahí, en vuestras manos está; pues el rey nada puede [hacer] contra vosotros.(E) Jérémie 38:5 Le roi Sédécias répondit: Voici, il est entre vos mains; car le roi ne peut rien contre vous.(F) Jer 38:5 Der König Zedekia sprach: Siehe, er ist in euren Händen; denn der König kann nichts wider euch.(D) Jer 38:5 ἔτι φυτεύσατε ἀμπελῶνας ἐν ὄρεσιν Σαμαρείας φυτεύσατε καὶ αἰνέσατε(lxx) Jer 38:5 Then Zedekiah the king said, "Look, he is in your hand. For the king can do nothing against you."(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 38:6 ============ Jer 38:6 Then they took Jeremiah and cast him into the cistern of Malchijah the king's son, which was in the court of the guardhouse; and they let Jeremiah down with ropes. Now in the cistern there was no water but only mud, and Jeremiah sank into the mud.(nasb) Jer 38:6 Tulerunt ergo Jeremiam, et projecerunt eum in lacum Melchiæ filii Amelech, qui erat in vestibulo carceris: et submiserunt Jeremiam funibus in lacum, in quo non erat aqua, sed lutum: descendit itaque Jeremias in cœnum.(vulgate) Jeremías 38:6 Entonces tomaron ellos a Jeremías, y lo echaron en la mazmorra de Malquías hijo de Amelec, que [estaba] en el patio de la cárcel; y metieron a Jeremías con sogas. Y en la mazmorra no [había] agua, sino cieno; y se hundió Jeremías en el cieno.(E) Jérémie 38:6 Alors ils prirent Jérémie, et le jetèrent dans la citerne de Malkija, fils du roi, laquelle se trouvait dans la cour de la prison; ils descendirent Jérémie avec des cordes. Il n'y avait point d'eau dans la citerne, mais il y avait de la boue; et Jérémie enfonça dans la boue.(F) Jer 38:6 Da nahmen sie Jeremia und warfen ihn in die Grube Malchias, des Königssohnes, die am Vorhof des Gefängnisses war, da nicht Wasser, sondern Schlamm war, und Jeremia sank in den Schlamm.(D) Jer 38:6 ὅτι ἔστιν ἡμέρα κλήσεως ἀπολογουμένων ἐν ὄρεσιν Εφραιμ ἀνάστητε καὶ ἀνάβητε εἰς Σιων πρὸς κύριον τὸν θεὸν ἡμῶν(lxx) Jer 38:6 So they took Jeremiah and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the king's son, which was in the court of the prison, and they let Jeremiah down with ropes. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire. So Jeremiah sank in the mire.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 38:7 ============ Jer 38:7 But Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, a eunuch, while he was in the king's palace, heard that they had put Jeremiah into the cistern. Now the king was sitting in the Gate of Benjamin;(nasb) Jer 38:7 Audivit autem Abdemelech Æthiops, vir eunuchus, qui erat in domo regis, quod misissent Jeremiam in lacum. Porro rex sedebat in porta Benjamin:(vulgate) Jeremías 38:7 Y oyendo Ebedmelec, hombre etíope, eunuco que estaba en casa del rey, que habían puesto a Jeremías en la mazmorra, y estando sentado el rey a la puerta de Benjamín,(E) Jérémie 38:7 Ebed-Mélec, l'Ethiopien, eunuque qui était dans la maison du roi, apprit qu'on avait mis Jérémie dans la citerne. Le roi était assis à la porte de Benjamin.(F) Jer 38:7 Als aber Ebed-Melech, der Mohr, ein Kämmerer in des Königs Hause, hörte, daß man Jeremia hatte in die Grube geworfen, und der König eben saß im Tor Benjamin,(D) Jer 38:7 ὅτι οὕτως εἶπεν κύριος τῷ Ιακωβ εὐφράνθητε καὶ χρεμετίσατε ἐπὶ κεφαλὴν ἐθνῶν ἀκουστὰ ποιήσατε καὶ αἰνέσατε εἴπατε ἔσωσεν κύριος τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ τὸ κατάλοιπον τοῦ Ισραηλ(lxx) Jer 38:7 Now Ebed-Melech the Ethiopian, one of the eunuchs, who was in the king's house, heard that they had put Jeremiah in the dungeon. When the king was sitting at the Gate of Benjamin,(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 38:8 ============ Jer 38:8 and Ebed-melech went out from the king's palace and spoke to the king, saying,(nasb) Jer 38:8 et egressus est Abdemelech de domo regis, et locutus est ad regem, dicens:(vulgate) Jeremías 38:8 Ebedmelec salió de la casa del rey, y habló al rey, diciendo:(E) Jérémie 38:8 Ebed-Mélec sortit de la maison du roi, et parla ainsi au roi:(F) Jer 38:8 da ging Ebed-Melech aus des Königs Hause und redete mit dem König und sprach:(D) Jer 38:8 ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἄγω αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ βορρᾶ καὶ συνάξω αὐτοὺς ἀπ᾽ ἐσχάτου τῆς γῆς ἐν ἑορτῇ φασεκ καὶ τεκνοποιήσῃ ὄχλον πολύν καὶ ἀποστρέψουσιν ὧδε(lxx) Jer 38:8 Ebed-Melech went out of the king's house and spoke to the king, saying:(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 38:9 ============ Jer 38:9 "My lord the king, these men have acted wickedly in all that they have done to Jeremiah the prophet whom they have cast into the cistern; and he will die right where he is because of the famine, for there is no more bread in the city."(nasb) Jer 38:9 Domine mi rex, male fecerunt viri isti omnia quæcumque perpetrarunt contra Jeremiam prophetam, mittentes eum in lacum, ut moriatur ibi fame: non sunt enim panes ultra in civitate.(vulgate) Jeremías 38:9 Mi señor el rey, mal hicieron estos varones en todo lo que han hecho al profeta Jeremías, al cual echaron en la mazmorra; porque allí morirá de hambre, pues no [hay] más pan en la ciudad.(E) Jérémie 38:9 O roi, mon seigneur, ces hommes ont mal agi en traitant de la sorte Jérémie, le prophète, en le jetant dans la citerne; il mourra de faim là où il est, car il n'y a plus de pain dans la ville.(F) Jer 38:9 Mein Herr König, die Männer handeln übel an dem Propheten Jeremia, daß sie ihn haben in die Grube geworfen, da er muß Hungers sterben; denn es ist kein Brot mehr in der Stadt.(D) Jer 38:9 ἐν κλαυθμῷ ἐξῆλθον καὶ ἐν παρακλήσει ἀνάξω αὐτοὺς αὐλίζων ἐπὶ διώρυγας ὑδάτων ἐν ὁδῷ ὀρθῇ καὶ οὐ μὴ πλανηθῶσιν ἐν αὐτῇ ὅτι ἐγενόμην τῷ Ισραηλ εἰς πατέρα καὶ Εφραιμ πρωτότοκός μού ἐστιν(lxx) Jer 38:9 "My lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they have done to Jeremiah the prophet, whom they have cast into the dungeon, and he is likely to die from hunger in the place where he is. For there is no more bread in the city."(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 38:10 ============ Jer 38:10 Then the king commanded Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, saying, "Take thirty men from here under your authority and bring up Jeremiah the prophet from the cistern before he dies."(nasb) Jer 38:10 Præcepit itaque rex Abdemelech Æthiopi, dicens: Tolle tecum hinc triginta viros, et leva Jeremiam prophetam de lacu, antequam moriatur.(vulgate) Jeremías 38:10 Entonces mandó el rey al mismo Ebedmelec etíope, diciendo: Toma en tu poder a treinta hombres de aquí, y saca al profeta Jeremías de la mazmorra, antes que muera.(E) Jérémie 38:10 Le roi donna cet ordre à Ebed-Mélec, l'Ethiopien: Prends ici trente hommes avec toi, et tu retireras de la citerne Jérémie, le prophète, avant qu'il ne meure.(F) Jer 38:10 Da befahl der König Ebed-Melech, dem Mohren, und sprach: Nimm dreißig Männer mit dir von diesen und zieh den Propheten Jeremia aus der Grube, ehe denn er sterbe.(D) Jer 38:10 ἀκούσατε λόγον κυρίου ἔθνη καὶ ἀναγγείλατε εἰς νήσους τὰς μακρότερον εἴπατε ὁ λικμήσας τὸν Ισραηλ συνάξει αὐτὸν καὶ φυλάξει αὐτὸν ὡς ὁ βόσκων τὸ ποίμνιον αὐτοῦ(lxx) Jer 38:10 Then the king commanded Ebed-Melech the Ethiopian, saying, "Take from here thirty men with you, and lift Jeremiah the prophet out of the dungeon before he dies."(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 38:11 ============ Jer 38:11 So Ebed-melech took the men under his authority and went into the king's palace to a place beneath the storeroom and took from there worn-out clothes and worn-out rags and let them down by ropes into the cistern to Jeremiah.(nasb) Jer 38:11 Assumptis ergo Abdemelech secum viris, ingressus est domum regis, quæ erat sub cellario, et tulit inde veteres pannos, et antiqua quæ computruerant, et submisit ea ad Jeremiam in lacum per funiculos.(vulgate) Jeremías 38:11 Y tomó Ebedmelec en su poder hombres, y entró a la casa del rey al lugar debajo de la tesorería, y tomó de allí trapos viejos y raídos, y ropas viejas y andrajosas, y los echó a Jeremías con sogas en la mazmorra.(E) Jérémie 38:11 Ebed-Mélec prit avec lui les hommes, et se rendit à la maison du roi, dans un lieu au-dessous du trésor; il en sortit des lambeaux usés et de vieux haillons, et les descendit à Jérémie dans la citerne, avec des cordes.(F) Jer 38:11 Und Ebed-Melech nahm die Männer mit sich und ging in des Königs Haus unter die Schatzkammer und nahm daselbst zerrissene und vertragene alte Lumpen und ließ sie an einem Seil hinab zu Jeremia in die Grube.(D) Jer 38:11 ὅτι ἐλυτρώσατο κύριος τὸν Ιακωβ ἐξείλατο αὐτὸν ἐκ χειρὸς στερεωτέρων αὐτοῦ(lxx) Jer 38:11 So Ebed-Melech took the men with him and went into the house of the king under the treasury, and took from there old clothes and old rags, and let them down by ropes into the dungeon to Jeremiah.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 38:12 ============ Jer 38:12 Then Ebed-melech the Ethiopian said to Jeremiah, "Now put these worn-out clothes and rags under your armpits under the ropes"; and Jeremiah did so.(nasb) Jer 38:12 Dixitque Abdemelech Æthiops ad Jeremiam: Pone veteres pannos, et hæc scissa et putrida, sub cubito manuum tuarum, et super funes. Fecit ergo Jeremias sic,(vulgate) Jeremías 38:12 Y el etíope Ebedmelec dijo a Jeremías: Pon ahora esos trapos viejos y ropas raídas y andrajosas bajo tus sobacos, debajo de las sogas. Y lo hizo así Jeremías.(E) Jérémie 38:12 Ebed-Mélec, l'Ethiopien, dit à Jérémie: Mets ces lambeaux usés et ces haillons sous tes aisselles, sous les cordes. Et Jérémie fit ainsi.(F) Jer 38:12 Und Ebed-Melech, der Mohr, sprach zu Jeremia: Lege diese zerrissenen und vertragenen alten Lumpen unter deine Achseln um das Seil. Und Jeremia tat also.(D) Jer 38:12 καὶ ἥξουσιν καὶ εὐφρανθήσονται ἐν τῷ ὄρει Σιων καὶ ἥξουσιν ἐπ᾽ ἀγαθὰ κυρίου ἐπὶ γῆν σίτου καὶ οἴνου καὶ καρπῶν καὶ κτηνῶν καὶ προβάτων καὶ ἔσται ἡ ψυχὴ αὐτῶν ὥσπερ ξύλον ἔγκαρπον καὶ οὐ πεινάσουσιν ἔτι(lxx) Jer 38:12 Then Ebed-Melech the Ethiopian said to Jeremiah, "Please put these old clothes and rags under your armpits, under the ropes." And Jeremiah did so.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 38:13 ============ Jer 38:13 So they pulled Jeremiah up with the ropes and lifted him out of the cistern, and Jeremiah stayed in the court of the guardhouse.(nasb) Jer 38:13 et extraxerunt Jeremiam funibus, et eduxerunt eum de lacu: mansit autem Jeremias in vestibulo carceris.~(vulgate) Jeremías 38:13 De este modo sacaron a Jeremías con sogas, y lo subieron de la mazmorra; y quedó Jeremías en el patio de la cárcel.(E) Jérémie 38:13 Ils tirèrent Jérémie avec les cordes, et le firent monter hors de la citerne. Jérémie resta dans la cour de la prison.(F) Jer 38:13 Und sie zogen Jeremia herauf aus der Grube an den Stricken; und blieb also Jeremia im Vorhof des Gefängnisses.(D) Jer 38:13 τότε χαρήσονται παρθένοι ἐν συναγωγῇ νεανίσκων καὶ πρεσβῦται χαρήσονται καὶ στρέψω τὸ πένθος αὐτῶν εἰς χαρμονὴν καὶ ποιήσω αὐτοὺς εὐφραινομένους(lxx) Jer 38:13 So they pulled Jeremiah up with ropes and lifted him out of the dungeon. And Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 38:14 ============ Jer 38:14 Then King Zedekiah sent and had Jeremiah the prophet brought to him at the third entrance that is in the house of the Lord; and the king said to Jeremiah, "I am going to ask you something; do not hide anything from me."(nasb) Jer 38:14 Et misit rex Sedecias, et tulit ad se Jeremiam prophetam ad ostium tertium quod erat in domo Domini: et dixit rex ad Jeremiam: Interrogo ego te sermonem, ne abscondas a me aliquid.(vulgate) Jeremías 38:14 Después envió el rey Sedequías, e hizo traer a sí al profeta Jeremías a la tercera entrada que estaba en la casa de Jehová. Y dijo el rey a Jeremías: Voy a preguntarte algo, no me ocultes nada.(E) Jérémie 38:14 Le roi Sédécias envoya chercher Jérémie, le prophète, et le fit venir auprès de lui dans la troisième entrée de la maison de l'Eternel. Et le roi dit à Jérémie: J'ai une chose à te demander; ne me cache rien.(F) Jer 38:14 Und der König Zedekia sandte hin und ließ den Propheten Jeremia zu sich holen unter den dritten Eingang am Hause des HERRN. Und der König sprach zu Jeremia: Ich will dich etwas fragen; verhalte mir nichts.(D) Jer 38:14 μεγαλυνῶ καὶ μεθύσω τὴν ψυχὴν τῶν ἱερέων υἱῶν Λευι καὶ ὁ λαός μου τῶν ἀγαθῶν μου ἐμπλησθήσεται(lxx) Jer 38:14 Then Zedekiah the king sent and had Jeremiah the prophet brought to him at the third entrance of the house of the Lord. And the king said to Jeremiah, "I will ask you something. Hide nothing from me."(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 38:15 ============ Jer 38:15 Then Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, "If I tell you, will you not certainly put me to death? Besides, if I give you advice, you will not listen to me."(nasb) Jer 38:15 Dixit autem Jeremias ad Sedeciam: Si annuntiavero tibi, numquid non interficies me? et si consilium dedero tibi, non me audies.(vulgate) Jeremías 38:15 Y Jeremías dijo a Sedequías: Si te lo declaro, ¿no es verdad que me matarás? Y si te doy un consejo, no me escucharás.(E) Jérémie 38:15 Jérémie répondit à Sédécias: Si je te la dis, ne me feras-tu pas mourir? Et si je te donne un conseil, tu ne m'écouteras pas.(F) Jer 38:15 Jeremia sprach zu Zedekia: Sage ich dir etwas, so tötest du mich doch; gebe ich dir aber einen Rat, so gehorchst du mir nicht.(D) Jer 38:15 οὕτως εἶπεν κύριος φωνὴ ἐν Ραμα ἠκούσθη θρήνου καὶ κλαυθμοῦ καὶ ὀδυρμοῦ Ραχηλ ἀποκλαιομένη οὐκ ἤθελεν παύσασθαι ἐπὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτῆς ὅτι οὐκ εἰσίν(lxx) Jer 38:15 Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, "If I declare it to you, will you not surely put me to death? Please obey the Lord in what I am saying to you, that it may go well with you and you may live.(nasb) Jer 38:20 Respondit autem Jeremias: Non te tradent. Audi, quæso, vocem Domini, quam ego loquor ad te, et bene tibi erit, et vivet anima tua.(vulgate) Jeremías 38:20 Pero Jeremías dijo: No te entregarán. Te ruego que obedezcas la voz de Jehová, que yo te hablo, y te irá bien y vivirá tu alma.(E) Jérémie 38:20 Jérémie répondit: On ne te livrera pas. So he reported to them in accordance with all these words which the king had commanded; and they ceased speaking with him, since the conversation had not been overheard.(nasb) Jer 38:27 Venerunt ergo omnes principes ad Jeremiam, et interrogaverunt eum, et locutus est eis juxta omnia verba quæ præceperat ei rex: et cessaverunt ab eo: nihil enim fuerat auditum.(vulgate) Jeremías 38:27 Y vinieron luego todos los príncipes a Jeremías, y le preguntaron: y él les respondió conforme a todo lo que el rey le había mandado. Con esto se alejaron de él, porque el asunto no se había oído.(E) Jérémie 38:27 Tous les chefs vinrent auprès de Jérémie et le questionnèrent. Il leur répondit entièrement comme le roi l'avait ordonné. Ils gardèrent alors le silence et se retirèrent, car la chose ne s'était pas répandue.(F) Jer 38:27 Da kamen alle Fürsten zu Jeremia und fragten ihn; und er sagte ihnen, wie ihm der König befohlen hatte. Da ließen sie von ihm, weil sie nichts erfahren konnten.(D) Jer 38:27 διὰ τοῦτο ἰδοὺ ἡμέραι ἔρχονται φησὶν κύριος καὶ σπερῶ τὸν Ισραηλ καὶ τὸν Ιουδαν σπέρμα ἀνθρώπου καὶ σπέρμα κτήνους(lxx) Jer 38:27 Then all the princes came to Jeremiah and asked him. And he told them according to all these words that the king had commanded. So they stopped speaking with him, for the conversation had not been heard.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 38:28 ============ Jer 38:28 So Jeremiah stayed in the court of the guardhouse until the day that Jerusalem was captured.(nasb) Jer 38:28 Mansit vero Jeremias in vestibulo carceris usque ad diem quo capta est Jerusalem: et factum est ut caperetur Jerusalem.(vulgate) Jeremías 38:28 Y quedó Jeremías en el patio de la cárcel hasta el día que fue tomada Jerusalén; y [allí] estaba cuando Jerusalén fue tomada.(E) Jérémie 38:28 Jérémie resta dans la cour de la prison jusqu'au jour de la prise de Jérusalem.
