Today's Date: ======= Micah 4:1 ============ Mic 4:1 And it will come about in the last days That the mountain of the house of the Lord Will be established as the chief of the mountains. It will be raised above the hills, And the peoples will stream to it.(nasb) Mic 4:1 [Et erit: in novissimo dierum erit mons domus Domini præparatus in vertice montium, et sublimis super colles: et fluent ad eum populi,(vulgate) Miqueas 4:1 Y acontecerá en los postreros días [que] el monte de la casa de Jehová será establecido por cabecera de montes, y será exaltado más que los collados, y los pueblos correrán a él.(E) Michée 4:1 Il arrivera, dans la suite des temps, Que la montagne de la maison de l'Eternel Sera fondée sur le sommet des montagnes, Qu'elle s'élèvera par-dessus les collines, Et que les peuples y afflueront.(F) Mic 4:1 In den letzten Tagen aber wird der Berg, darauf des HERRN Haus ist, fest stehen, höher denn alle Berge, und über die Hügel erhaben sein, und die Völker werden dazu laufen,(D) Mic 4:1 καὶ ἔσται ἐπ᾽ ἐσχάτων τῶν ἡμερῶν ἐμφανὲς τὸ ὄρος τοῦ κυρίου ἕτοιμον ἐπὶ τὰς κορυφὰς τῶν ὀρέων καὶ μετεωρισθήσεται ὑπεράνω τῶν βουνῶν καὶ σπεύσουσιν πρὸς αὐτὸ λαοί(lxx) Mic 4:1 Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the Lord's house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And peoples shall flow to it. ======= Micah 4:2 ============ Mic 4:2 Many nations will come and say, "Come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord And to the house of the God of Jacob, That He may teach us about His ways And that we may walk in His paths." For from Zion will go forth the law, Even the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.(nasb) Mic 4:2 et properabunt gentes multæ, et dicent: Venite, ascendamus ad montem Domini, et ad domum Dei Jacob: et docebit nos de viis suis, et ibimus in semitis ejus, quia de Sion egredietur lex, et verbum Domini de Jerusalem.(vulgate) Miqueas 4:2 Y vendrán muchas naciones, y dirán: Venid, y subamos al monte de Jehová, y a la casa del Dios de Jacob; y Él nos enseñará en sus caminos, y andaremos por sus sendas; porque de Sión saldrá la ley, y de Jerusalén la palabra de Jehová.(E) Michée 4:2 Des nations s'y rendront en foule, et diront: Venez, et montons à la montagne de l'Eternel, A la maison du Dieu de Jacob, Afin qu'il nous enseigne ses voies, Et que nous marchions dans ses sentiers. Car de Sion sortira la loi, Et de Jérusalem la parole de l'Eternel.(F) Mic 4:2 und viele Heiden werden gehen und sagen: Kommt, laßt uns hinauf zum Berge des HERRN gehen und zum Hause des Gottes Jakobs, daß er uns lehre seine Wege und wir auf seiner Straße wandeln! Denn aus Zion wird das Gesetz ausgehen und des HERRN Wort aus Jerusalem.(D) Mic 4:2 καὶ πορεύσονται ἔθνη πολλὰ καὶ ἐροῦσιν δεῦτε ἀναβῶμεν εἰς τὸ ὄρος κυρίου καὶ εἰς τὸν οἶκον τοῦ θεοῦ Ιακωβ καὶ δείξουσιν ἡμῖν τὴν ὁδὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ πορευσόμεθα ἐν ταῖς τρίβοις αὐτοῦ ὅτι ἐκ Σιων ἐξελεύσεται νόμος καὶ λόγος κυρίου ἐξ Ιερουσαλημ(lxx) Mic 4:2 Many nations shall come and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths." For out of Zion the law shall go forth, And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. ======= Micah 4:3 ============ Mic 4:3 And He will judge between many peoples And render decisions for mighty, distant nations. Then they will hammer their swords into plowshares And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation will not lift up sword against nation, And never again will they train for war.(nasb) Mic 4:3 Et judicabit inter populos multos, et corripiet gentes fortes usque in longinquum: et concident gladios suos in vomeres, et hastas suas in ligones: non sumet gens adversus gentem gladium, et non discent ultra belligerare.(vulgate) Miqueas 4:3 Y juzgará entre muchos pueblos, y corregirá a naciones poderosas hasta muy lejos; y martillarán sus espadas para azadones, y sus lanzas para hoces; no alzará espada nación contra nación, ni se adiestrarán más para la guerra.(E) Michée 4:3 Il sera le juge d'un grand nombre de peuples, L'arbitre de nations puissantes, lointaines. De leurs glaives ils forgeront des hoyaux, Et de leurs lances des serpes; Une nation ne tirera plus l'épée contre une autre, Et l'on n'apprendra plus la guerre.(F) Mic 4:3 Er wird unter großen Völkern richten und viele Heiden strafen in fernen Landen. Sie werden ihre Schwerter zu Pflugscharen und ihre Spieße zu Sicheln machen. Es wird kein Volk wider das andere ein Schwert aufheben und werden nicht mehr kriegen lernen.(D) Mic 4:3 καὶ κρινεῖ ἀνὰ μέσον λαῶν πολλῶν καὶ ἐξελέγξει ἔθνη ἰσχυρὰ ἕως εἰς γῆν μακράν καὶ κατακόψουσιν τὰς ῥομφαίας αὐτῶν εἰς ἄροτρα καὶ τὰ δόρατα αὐτῶν εἰς δρέπανα καὶ οὐκέτι μὴ ἀντάρῃ ἔθνος ἐπ᾽ ἔθνος ῥομφαίαν καὶ οὐκέτι μὴ μάθωσιν πολεμεῖν(lxx) Mic 4:3 He shall judge between many peoples, And rebuke strong nations afar off; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore. ======= Micah 4:4 ============ Mic 4:4 Each of them will sit under his vine And under his fig tree, With no one to make them afraid, For the mouth of the Lord of hosts has spoken.(nasb) Mic 4:4 Et sedebit vir subtus vitem suam et subtus ficum suam, et non erit qui deterreat, quia os Domini exercituum locutum est.(vulgate) Miqueas 4:4 Y cada uno se sentará debajo de su vid y debajo de su higuera, y no habrá quien amedrente; porque la boca de Jehová de los ejércitos [lo] ha hablado.(E) Michée 4:4 Ils habiteront chacun sous sa vigne et sous son figuier, Et il n'y aura personne pour les troubler; Car la bouche de l'Eternel des armées a parlé.(F) Mic 4:4 Ein jeglicher wird unter seinem Weinstock und Feigenbaum wohnen ohne Scheu; denn der Mund des HERRN Zebaoth hat's geredet.(D) Mic 4:4 καὶ ἀναπαύσεται ἕκαστος ὑποκάτω ἀμπέλου αὐτοῦ καὶ ἕκαστος ὑποκάτω συκῆς αὐτοῦ καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ὁ ἐκφοβῶν διότι τὸ στόμα κυρίου παντοκράτορος ἐλάλησεν ταῦτα(lxx) Mic 4:4 But everyone shall sit under his vine and under his fig tree, And no one shall make them afraid; For the mouth of the Lord of hosts has spoken. ======= Micah 4:5 ============ Mic 4:5 Though all the peoples walk Each in the name of his god, As for us, we will walk In the name of the Lord our God forever and ever.(nasb) Mic 4:5 Quia omnes populi ambulabunt unusquisque in nomine dei sui; nos autem ambulabimus in nomine Domini Dei nostri, in æternum et ultra.]~(vulgate) Miqueas 4:5 Bien que todos los pueblos anduvieren cada uno en el nombre de sus dioses, nosotros con todo andaremos en el nombre de Jehová nuestro Dios eternamente y para siempre.(E) Michée 4:5 Tandis que tous les peuples marchent, chacun au nom de son dieu, Nous marcherons, nous, au nom de l'Eternel, notre Dieu, A toujours et à perpétuité.(F) Mic 4:5 Denn ein jegliches Volk wandelt im Namen seines Gottes; aber wir wandeln im Namen des HERRN, unsers Gottes, immer und ewiglich.(D) Mic 4:5 ὅτι πάντες οἱ λαοὶ πορεύσονται ἕκαστος τὴν ὁδὸν αὐτοῦ ἡμεῖς δὲ πορευσόμεθα ἐν ὀνόματι κυρίου θεοῦ ἡμῶν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα καὶ ἐπέκεινα(lxx) Mic 4:5 For all people walk each in the name of his god, But we will walk in the name of the Lord our God Forever and ever. ======= Micah 4:6 ============ Mic 4:6 "In that day," declares the Lord, "I will assemble the lame And gather the outcasts, Even those whom I have afflicted.(nasb) Mic 4:6 [In die illa, dicit Dominus, congregabo claudicantem, et eam quam ejeceram colligam, et quam afflixeram:(vulgate) Miqueas 4:6 En aquel día, dice Jehová, juntaré a la que cojea, y recogeré a la descarriada, y a la que afligí:(E) Michée 4:6 En ce jour-là, dit l'Eternel, je recueillerai les boiteux, Je rassemblerai ceux qui étaient chassés, Ceux que j'avais maltraités.(F) Mic 4:6 Zur selben Zeit, spricht der HERR, will ich die Lahmen versammeln und die Verstoßenen zuhauf bringen und die ich geplagt habe.(D) Mic 4:6 ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ λέγει κύριος συνάξω τὴν συντετριμμένην καὶ τὴν ἐξωσμένην εἰσδέξομαι καὶ οὓς ἀπωσάμην(lxx) Mic 4:6 "In that day," says the Lord, "I will assemble the lame, I will gather the outcast And those whom I have afflicted; ======= Micah 4:7 ============ Mic 4:7 "I will make the lame a remnant And the outcasts a strong nation, And the Lord will reign over them in Mount Zion From now on and forever.(nasb) Mic 4:7 et ponam claudicantem in reliquias, et eam quæ laboraverat, in gentem robustam: et regnabit Dominus super eos in monte Sion, ex hoc nunc et usque in æternum.(vulgate) Miqueas 4:7 Y haré un remanente de la que cojea, y de la descarriada una nación poderosa; y Jehová reinará sobre ellos en el monte de Sión desde ahora para siempre.(E) Michée 4:7 Des boiteux je ferai un reste, De ceux qui étaient chassés une nation puissante; Et l'Eternel régnera sur eux, à la montagne de Sion, Dès lors et pour toujours.(F) Mic 4:7 Und will die Lahmen machen, daß sie Erben haben sollen, und die Verstoßenen zum großen Volk machen; und der HERR wird König über sie sein auf dem Berge Zion von nun an bis in Ewigkeit.(D) Mic 4:7 καὶ θήσομαι τὴν συντετριμμένην εἰς ὑπόλειμμα καὶ τὴν ἀπωσμένην εἰς ἔθνος ἰσχυρόν καὶ βασιλεύσει κύριος ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς ἐν ὄρει Σιων ἀπὸ τοῦ νῦν καὶ ἕως εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα(lxx) Mic 4:7 I will make the lame a remnant, And the outcast a strong nation; So the Lord will reign over them in Mount Zion From now on, even forever. ======= Micah 4:8 ============ Mic 4:8 "As for you, tower of the flock, Hill of the daughter of Zion, To you it will come" Even the former dominion will come, The kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.(nasb) Mic 4:8 Et tu, turris gregis nebulosa filiæ Sion, usque ad te veniet, et veniet potestas prima, regnum filiæ Jerusalem.(vulgate) Miqueas 4:8 Y tú, oh torre del rebaño, la fortaleza de la hija de Sión vendrá hasta ti: y el señorío primero, el reino vendrá a la hija de Jerusalén.(E) Michée 4:8 Et toi, tour du troupeau, colline de la fille de Sion, A toi viendra, à toi arrivera l'ancienne domination, Le royaume de la fille de Jérusalem.(F) Mic 4:8 Und du, Turm Eder, du Feste der Tochter Zion, zu dir wird kommen und einkehren die vorige Herrschaft, das Königreich der Tochter Jerusalem.(D) Mic 4:8 καὶ σύ πύργος ποιμνίου αὐχμώδης θύγατερ Σιων ἐπὶ σὲ ἥξει καὶ εἰσελεύσεται ἡ ἀρχὴ ἡ πρώτη βασιλεία ἐκ Βαβυλῶνος τῇ θυγατρὶ Ιερουσαλημ(lxx) Mic 4:8 And you, O tower of the flock, The stronghold of the daughter of Zion, To you shall it come, Even the former dominion shall come, The kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem." ======= Micah 4:9 ============ Mic 4:9 "Now, why do you cry out loudly? Is there no king among you, Or has your counselor perished, That agony has gripped you like a woman in childbirth?(nasb) Mic 4:9 Nunc quare mœrore contraheris? numquid rex non est tibi, aut consiliarius tuus periit, quia comprehendit te dolor sicut parturientem?(vulgate) Miqueas 4:9 Ahora ¿por qué gritas tanto? ¿No [hay] rey en ti? ¿Pereció tu consejero, que te ha tomado dolor como de mujer de parto?(E) Michée 4:9 Pourquoi maintenant pousses-tu des cris? N'as-tu point de roi, plus de conseiller, Pour que la douleur te saisisse comme une femme qui accouche?(F) Mic 4:9 Warum schreist du denn jetzt so laut? Ist der König nicht bei dir? oder sind deine Ratgeber alle hinweg, daß dich also das Weh angekommen ist wie eine in Kindsnöten?(D) Mic 4:9 καὶ νῦν ἵνα τί ἔγνως κακά μὴ βασιλεὺς οὐκ ἦν σοι ἢ ἡ βουλή σου ἀπώλετο ὅτι κατεκράτησάν σου ὠδῖνες ὡς τικτούσης(lxx) Mic 4:9 Now why do you cry aloud? Is there no king in your midst? Has your counselor perished? For pangs have seized you like a woman in labor. ======= Micah 4:10 ============ Mic 4:10 "Writhe and labor to give birth, Daughter of Zion, Like a woman in childbirth; For now you will go out of the city, Dwell in the field, And go to Babylon. There you will be rescued; There the Lord will redeem you From the hand of your enemies.(nasb) Mic 4:10 Dole et satage, filia Sion, quasi parturiens, quia nunc egredieris de civitate, et habitabis in regione, et venies usque ad Babylonem: ibi liberaberis, ibi redimet te Dominus de manu inimicorum tuorum.(vulgate) Miqueas 4:10 Duélete y gime, hija de Sión como mujer de parto; porque ahora saldrás de la ciudad, y morarás en el campo, y llegarás hasta Babilonia; allí serás librada, allí te redimirá Jehová de la mano de tus enemigos.(E) Michée 4:10 Fille de Sion, souffre et gémis comme une femme qui accouche! Car maintenant tu sortiras de la ville et tu habiteras dans les champs, Et tu iras jusqu'à Babylone; Là tu seras délivrée, C'est là que l'Eternel te rachètera de la main de tes ennemis.(F) Mic 4:10 Leide doch solch Weh und kreiße, du Tochter Zion, wie eine in Kindsnöten. Denn du mußt nun zur Stadt hinaus und auf dem Felde wohnen und gen Babel kommen; aber daselbst wirst du errettet werden, daselbst wird dich der HERR erlösen von deinen Feinden.(D) Mic 4:10 ὤδινε καὶ ἀνδρίζου καὶ ἔγγιζε θύγατερ Σιων ὡς τίκτουσα διότι νῦν ἐξελεύσῃ ἐκ πόλεως καὶ κατασκηνώσεις ἐν πεδίῳ καὶ ἥξεις ἕως Βαβυλῶνος ἐκεῖθεν ῥύσεταί σε καὶ ἐκεῖθεν λυτρώσεταί σε κύριος ὁ θεός σου ἐκ χειρὸς ἐχθρῶν σου(lxx) Mic 4:10 Be in pain, and labor to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, Like a woman in birth pangs. For now you shall go forth from the city, You shall dwell in the field, And to Babylon you shall go. There you shall be delivered; There the Lord will redeem you From the hand of your enemies. ======= Micah 4:11 ============ Mic 4:11 "And now many nations have been assembled against you Who say, 'Let her be polluted, And let our eyes gloat over Zion.'(nasb) Mic 4:11 Et nunc congregatæ sunt super te gentes multæ, quæ dicunt: Lapidetur, et aspiciat in Sion oculus noster.(vulgate) Miqueas 4:11 Ahora también muchas naciones se han juntado contra ti, y dicen: Sea profanada, y vean nuestros ojos su deseo sobre Sión.(E) Michée 4:11 Maintenant plusieurs nations se sont rassemblées contre toi: Qu'elle soit profanée, disent-elles, Et que nos yeux se rassasient dans Sion!(F) Mic 4:11 Nun aber werden sich viele Heiden wider dich rotten und sprechen: Sie soll entweiht werden; wir wollen unsere Lust an Zion sehen.(D) Mic 4:11 καὶ νῦν ἐπισυνήχθη ἐπὶ σὲ ἔθνη πολλὰ οἱ λέγοντες ἐπιχαρούμεθα καὶ ἐπόψονται ἐπὶ Σιων οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ ἡμῶν(lxx) Mic 4:11 Now also many nations have gathered against you, Who say, "Let her be defiled, And let our eye look upon Zion." ======= Micah 4:12 ============ Mic 4:12 "But they do not know the thoughts of the Lord, And they do not understand His purpose; For He has gathered them like sheaves to the threshing floor.(nasb) Mic 4:12 Ipsi autem non cognoverunt cogitationes Domini, et non intellexerunt consilium ejus, quia congregavit eos quasi fœnum areæ.(vulgate) Miqueas 4:12 Mas ellos no conocieron los pensamientos de Jehová, ni entendieron su consejo; por lo cual los juntó como gavillas en la era.(E) Michée 4:12 Mais elles ne connaissent pas les pensées de l'Eternel, Elles ne comprennent pas ses desseins, Elles ignorent qu'il les a rassemblées comme des gerbes dans l'aire.(F) Mic 4:12 Aber sie wissen des HERRN Gedanken nicht und merken seinen Ratschlag nicht, daß er sie zuhauf gebracht hat wie Garben auf der Tenne.(D) Mic 4:12 αὐτοὶ δὲ οὐκ ἔγνωσαν τὸν λογισμὸν κυρίου καὶ οὐ συνῆκαν τὴν βουλὴν αὐτοῦ ὅτι συνήγαγεν αὐτοὺς ὡς δράγματα ἅλωνος(lxx) Mic 4:12 But they do not know the thoughts of the Lord, Nor do they understand His counsel; For He will gather them like sheaves to the threshing floor. ======= Micah 4:13 ============ Mic 4:13 "Arise and thresh, daughter of Zion, For your horn I will make iron And your hoofs I will make bronze, That you may pulverize many peoples, That you may devote to the Lord their unjust gain And their wealth to the Lord of all the earth.(nasb) Mic 4:13 Surge, et tritura, filia Sion, quia cornu tuum ponam ferreum, et ungulas tuas ponam æreas; et comminues populos multos, et interficies Domino rapinas eorum, et fortitudinem eorum Domino universæ terræ.](vulgate) Miqueas 4:13 Levántate y trilla, hija de Sión, porque tu cuerno tornaré de hierro, y tus uñas de bronce, y desmenuzarás muchos pueblos; y consagrarás a Jehová su despojo, y sus riquezas al Señor de toda la tierra.(E) Michée 4:13 Fille de Sion, lève-toi et foule! Je te ferai une corne de fer et des ongles d'airain, Et tu broieras des peuples nombreux; Tu consacreras leurs biens à l'Eternel, Leurs richesses au Seigneur de toute la terre.(F) Mic 4:13 Darum mache dich auf und drisch, du Tochter Zion! Denn ich will dir eiserne Hörner und eherne Klauen machen, und sollst viel Völker zermalmen; so will ich ihr Gut dem HERRN verbannen und ihre Habe dem Herrscher der ganzen Welt.(D) Mic 4:13 ἀνάστηθι καὶ ἀλόα αὐτούς θύγατερ Σιων ὅτι τὰ κέρατά σου θήσομαι σιδηρᾶ καὶ τὰς ὁπλάς σου θήσομαι χαλκᾶς καὶ κατατήξεις ἐν αὐτοῖς ἔθνη καὶ λεπτυνεῖς λαοὺς πολλοὺς καὶ ἀναθήσεις τῷ κυρίῳ τὸ πλῆθος αὐτῶν καὶ τὴν ἰσχὺν αὐτῶν τῷ κυρίῳ πάσης τῆς γῆς(lxx) Mic 4:13 "Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion; For I will make your horn iron, And I will make your hooves bronze; You shall beat in pieces many peoples; I will consecrate their gain to the Lord, And their substance to the Lord of the whole earth." ======= Micah 5:1 ============ top of the page
