Today's Date: ======= Micah 2:1 ============ Mic 2:1 Woe to those who scheme iniquity, Who work out evil on their beds! When morning comes, they do it, For it is in the power of their hands.(nasb) Mic 2:1 [Væ qui cogitatis inutile, et operamini malum in cubilibus vestris! In luce matutina faciunt illud, quoniam contra Deum est manus eorum.(vulgate) Miqueas 2:1 ¡Ay de los que piensan iniquidad, y de los que fabrican el mal en sus camas! Cuando viene la mañana lo ponen por obra, porque tienen en su mano el poder.(E) Michée 2:1 Malheur à ceux qui méditent l'iniquité et qui forgent le mal Sur leur couche! Au point du jour ils l'exécutent, Quand ils ont le pouvoir en main.(F) Mic 2:1 Weh denen, die Schaden zu tun trachten und gehen mit bösen Tücken um auf ihrem Lager, daß sie es früh, wenn's licht wird, vollbringen, weil sie die Macht haben.(D) Mic 2:1 ἐγένοντο λογιζόμενοι κόπους καὶ ἐργαζόμενοι κακὰ ἐν ταῖς κοίταις αὐτῶν καὶ ἅμα τῇ ἡμέρᾳ συνετέλουν αὐτά διότι οὐκ ἦραν πρὸς τὸν θεὸν τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῶν(lxx) Mic 2:1 Woe to those who devise iniquity, And work out evil on their beds! At morning light they practice it, Because it is in the power of their hand.(nkjv) ======= Micah 2:2 ============ Mic 2:2 They covet fields and then seize them, And houses, and take them away. They rob a man and his house, A man and his inheritance.(nasb) Mic 2:2 Et concupierunt agros, et violenter tulerunt: et rapuerunt domos, et calumniabantur virum, et domum ejus: virum, et hæreditatem ejus.(vulgate) Miqueas 2:2 Y codiciaron las heredades, y [las] robaron; y casas, y [las] tomaron; oprimieron al hombre y a su casa, al hombre y a su heredad.(E) Michée 2:2 Ils convoitent des champs, et ils s'en emparent, Des maisons, et ils les enlèvent; Ils portent leur violence sur l'homme et sur sa maison, Sur l'homme et sur son héritage.(F) Mic 2:2 Sie reißen Äcker an sich und nehmen Häuser, welche sie gelüstet; also treiben sie Gewalt mit eines jeden Hause und mit eines jeden Erbe.(D) Mic 2:2 καὶ ἐπεθύμουν ἀγροὺς καὶ διήρπαζον ὀρφανοὺς καὶ οἴκους κατεδυνάστευον καὶ διήρπαζον ἄνδρα καὶ τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ ἄνδρα καὶ τὴν κληρονομίαν αὐτοῦ(lxx) Mic 2:2 They covet fields and take them by violence, Also houses, and seize them. So they oppress a man and his house, A man and his inheritance.(nkjv) ======= Micah 2:3 ============ Mic 2:3 Therefore thus says the Lord, "Behold, I am planning against this family a calamity From which you cannot remove your necks; And you will not walk haughtily, For it will be an evil time.(nasb) Mic 2:3 Idcirco hæc dicit Dominus: Ecce ego cogito super familiam istam malum, unde non auferetis colla vestra, et non ambulabitis superbi: quoniam tempus pessimum est.(vulgate) Miqueas 2:3 Por tanto, así dice Jehová: He aquí, yo pienso sobre esta familia un mal del cual no sacaréis vuestros cuellos, ni andaréis erguidos; porque el tiempo [será] malo.(E) Michée 2:3 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle l'Eternel: Voici, je médite contre cette race un malheur; Vous n'en préserverez pas vos cous, Et vous ne marcherez pas la tête levée, Car ces temps seront mauvais.(F) Mic 2:3 Darum spricht der HERR also: Siehe, ich gedenke über dies Geschlecht Böses, daß ihr euren Hals nicht daraus ziehen und daß ihr nicht so stolz dahergehen sollt; denn es soll eine böse Zeit sein.(D) Mic 2:3 διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ λογίζομαι ἐπὶ τὴν φυλὴν ταύτην κακά ἐξ ὧν οὐ μὴ ἄρητε τοὺς τραχήλους ὑμῶν καὶ οὐ μὴ πορευθῆτε ὀρθοὶ ἐξαίφνης ὅτι καιρὸς πονηρός ἐστιν(lxx) Mic 2:3 Therefore thus says the Lord: "Behold, against this family I am devising disaster, From which you cannot remove your necks; Nor shall you walk haughtily, For this is an evil time.(nkjv) ======= Micah 2:4 ============ Mic 2:4 "On that day they will take up against you a taunt And utter a bitter lamentation and say, 'We are completely destroyed! He exchanges the portion of my people; How He removes it from me! To the apostate He apportions our fields.'(nasb) Mic 2:4 In die illa sumetur super vos parabola, et cantabitur canticum cum suavitate, dicentium: Depopulatione vastati sumus; pars populi mei commutata est: quomodo recedet a me, cum revertatur, qui regiones nostras dividat?(vulgate) Miqueas 2:4 En aquel tiempo se levantará sobre vosotros refrán, y se endechará una amarga lamentación, diciendo: Del todo fuimos destruidos; Él ha cambiado la porción de mi pueblo. ¡Cómo nos quitó nuestros campos! Los dio y los repartió a otros.(E) Michée 2:4 En ce jour-là, on fera de vous un sujet de sarcasme, On poussera des cris lamentables, On dira: Nous sommes entièrement dévastés! Il donne à d'autres la part de mon peuple! Eh quoi! il me l'enlève! Il distribue nos champs à l'ennemi!...(F) Mic 2:4 Zur selben Zeit wird man einen Spruch von euch machen und klagen: Es ist aus (wird man sagen), wir sind verstört. Meines Volkes Land wird eines fremden Herrn. Wann wird er uns die Äcker wieder zuteilen, die er uns genommen hat?(D) Mic 2:4 ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ λημφθήσεται ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς παραβολή καὶ θρηνηθήσεται θρῆνος ἐν μέλει λέγων ταλαιπωρίᾳ ἐταλαιπωρήσαμεν μερὶς λαοῦ μου κατεμετρήθη ἐν σχοινίῳ καὶ οὐκ ἦν ὁ κωλύσων αὐτὸν τοῦ ἀποστρέψαι οἱ ἀγροὶ ἡμῶν διεμερίσθησαν(lxx) Mic 2:4 In that day one shall take up a proverb against you, And lament with a bitter lamentation, saying: 'We are utterly destroyed! He has changed the heritage of my people; How He has removed it from me! To a turncoat He has divided our fields.' "(nkjv) ======= Micah 2:5 ============ Mic 2:5 "Therefore you will have no one stretching a measuring line For you by lot in the assembly of the Lord.(nasb) Mic 2:5 Propter hoc non erit tibi mittens funiculum sortis in cœtu Domini.(vulgate) Miqueas 2:5 Por tanto, no tendrás quien eche cordel para suerte en la congregación de Jehová.(E) Michée 2:5 C'est pourquoi tu n'auras personne Qui étende le cordeau sur un lot, Dans l'assemblée de l'Eternel. -(F) Mic 2:5 Jawohl, ihr werdet keinen Teil behalten in der Gemeinde des HERRN.(D) Mic 2:5 διὰ τοῦτο οὐκ ἔσται σοι βάλλων σχοινίον ἐν κλήρῳ ἐν ἐκκλησίᾳ κυρίου(lxx) Mic 2:5 Therefore you will have no one to determine boundaries by lot In the assembly of the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Micah 2:6 ============ Mic 2:6 'Do not speak out, 'so they speak out. But if they do not speak out concerning these things, Reproaches will not be turned back.(nasb) Mic 2:6 Ne loquamini loquentes; non stillabit super istos, non comprehendet confusio.(vulgate) Miqueas 2:6 No profeticéis, [dicen a los que] profetizan; no les profetizarán, para no llevar la vergüenza(E) Michée 2:6 Ne prophétisez pas! disent-ils. Qu'on ne prophétise pas de telles choses! Les invectives n'ont point de fin! -(F) Mic 2:6 Predigt nicht! predigen sie, denn solche Predigt trifft uns nicht; wir werden nicht so zu Schanden werden.(D) Mic 2:6 μὴ κλαίετε δάκρυσιν μηδὲ δακρυέτωσαν ἐπὶ τούτοις οὐ γὰρ ἀπώσεται ὀνείδη(lxx) Mic 2:6 "Do not prattle," you say to those who prophesy. So they shall not prophesy to you; They shall not return insult for insult.(nkjv) ======= Micah 2:7 ============ Mic 2:7 "Is it being said, O house of Jacob: 'Is the Spirit of the Lord impatient? Are these His doings?' Do not My words do good To the one walking uprightly?(nasb) Mic 2:7 Dicit domus Jacob: Numquid abbreviatus est spiritus Domini, aut tales sunt cogitationes ejus? nonne verba mea bona sunt cum eo qui recte graditur?(vulgate) Miqueas 2:7 Tú que te dices casa de Jacob, ¿se ha acortado el Espíritu de Jehová? ¿[Son] éstas sus obras? ¿Mis palabras no hacen bien al que camina rectamente?(E) Michée 2:7 Oses-tu parler ainsi, maison de Jacob? L'Eternel est-il prompt à s'irriter? Est-ce là sa manière d'agir? Mes paroles ne sont-elles pas favorables A celui qui marche avec droiture?(F) Mic 2:7 Das Haus Jakob tröstet sich also: Meinst du, der HERR sei schnell zum Zorn? Sollte er solches tun wollen? Es ist wahr, meine Reden sind freundlich den Frommen.(D) Mic 2:7 ὁ λέγων οἶκος Ιακωβ παρώργισεν πνεῦμα κυρίου εἰ ταῦτα τὰ ἐπιτηδεύματα αὐτοῦ ἐστιν οὐχ οἱ λόγοι αὐτοῦ εἰσιν καλοὶ μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ καὶ ὀρθοὶ πεπόρευνται(lxx) Mic 2:7 You who are named the house of Jacob: "Is the Spirit of the Lord restricted? Are these His doings? Do not My words do good To him who walks uprightly?(nkjv) ======= Micah 2:8 ============ Mic 2:8 "Recently My people have arisen as an enemy" You strip the robe off the garment From unsuspecting passers-by, From those returned from war.(nasb) Mic 2:8 et e contrario populus meus in adversarium consurrexit. Desuper tunica pallium sustulistis: et eos qui transibant simpliciter convertistis in bellum.(vulgate) Miqueas 2:8 El que ayer era mi pueblo, se ha levantado como enemigo; tras las vestiduras quitasteis las capas atrevidamente a los que pasaban, como los que vuelven de la guerra.(E) Michée 2:8 Depuis longtemps on traite mon peuple en ennemi; Vous enlevez le manteau de dessus les vêtements De ceux qui passent avec sécurité En revenant de la guerre.(F) Mic 2:8 Aber mein Volk hat sich aufgemacht wie ein Feind, denn sie rauben beides, Rock und Mantel, denen, so sicher dahergehen, gleich wie die, so aus dem Kriege kommen.(D) Mic 2:8 καὶ ἔμπροσθεν ὁ λαός μου εἰς ἔχθραν ἀντέστη κατέναντι τῆς εἰρήνης αὐτοῦ τὴν δορὰν αὐτοῦ ἐξέδειραν τοῦ ἀφελέσθαι ἐλπίδα συντριμμὸν πολέμου(lxx) Mic 2:8 "Lately My people have risen up as an enemy-- You pull off the robe with the garment From those who trust you, as they pass by, Like men returned from war.(nkjv) ======= Micah 2:9 ============ Mic 2:9 "The women of My people you evict, Each one from her pleasant house. From her children you take My splendor forever.(nasb) Mic 2:9 Mulieres populi mei ejecistis de domo deliciarum suarum; a parvulis earum tulistis laudem meam in perpetuum.(vulgate) Miqueas 2:9 A las mujeres de mi pueblo echasteis fuera de las casas de sus delicias; a sus niños quitasteis mi perpetua alabanza.(E) Michée 2:9 Vous chassez de leurs maisons chéries les femmes de mon peuple, Vous ôtez pour toujours ma parure à leurs enfants.(F) Mic 2:9 Ihr treibt die Weiber meines Volkes aus ihren lieben Häusern und nehmt von ihren jungen Kindern meinen Schmuck auf immer.(D) Mic 2:9 διὰ τοῦτο ἡγούμενοι λαοῦ μου ἀπορριφήσονται ἐκ τῶν οἰκιῶν τρυφῆς αὐτῶν διὰ τὰ πονηρὰ ἐπιτηδεύματα αὐτῶν ἐξώσθησαν ἐγγίσατε ὄρεσιν αἰωνίοις(lxx) Mic 2:9 The women of My people you cast out From their pleasant houses; From their children You have taken away My glory forever.(nkjv) ======= Micah 2:10 ============ Mic 2:10 "Arise and go, For this is no place of rest Because of the uncleanness that brings on destruction, A painful destruction.(nasb) Mic 2:10 Surgite, et ite, quia non habetis hic requiem: propter immunditiam ejus corrumpetur putredine pessima.(vulgate) Miqueas 2:10 Levantaos, y andad, pues éste no [es vuestro] reposo; y porque está contaminado, [os] destruirá con grande destrucción.(E) Michée 2:10 Levez-vous, marchez! car ce n'est point ici un lieu de repos; A cause de la souillure, il y aura des douleurs, des douleurs violentes.(F) Mic 2:10 Darum macht euch auf! Ihr müßt davon, ihr sollt hier nicht bleiben; um ihrer Unreinigkeit willen müssen sie unsanft zerstört werden.(D) Mic 2:10 ἀνάστηθι καὶ πορεύου ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν σοι αὕτη ἡ ἀνάπαυσις ἕνεκεν ἀκαθαρσίας διεφθάρητε φθορᾷ(lxx) Mic 2:10 "Arise and depart, For this is not your rest; Because it is defiled, it shall destroy, Yes, with utter destruction.(nkjv) ======= Micah 2:11 ============ Mic 2:11 "If a man walking after wind and falsehood Had told lies and said, 'I will speak out to you concerning wine and liquor, 'He would be spokesman to this people.(nasb) Mic 2:11 Utinam non essem vir habens spiritum, et mendacium potius loquerer! Stillabo tibi in vinum et in ebrietatem; et erit super quem stillatur populus iste.(vulgate) Miqueas 2:11 Si alguno que anda en el espíritu de falsedad mintiere, [diciendo]: Yo te profetizaré de vino y de sidra; este tal será profeta a este pueblo.(E) Michée 2:11 Si un homme court après le vent et débite des mensonges: Je vais te prophétiser sur le vin, sur les boissons fortes! Ce sera pour ce peuple un prophète.(F) Mic 2:11 Wenn ich ein Irrgeist wäre und ein Lügenprediger und predigte, wie sie saufen und schwelgen sollten, das wäre eine Predigt für dies Volk.(D) Mic 2:11 κατεδιώχθητε οὐδενὸς διώκοντος πνεῦμα ἔστησεν ψεῦδος ἐστάλαξέν σοι εἰς οἶνον καὶ μέθυσμα καὶ ἔσται ἐκ τῆς σταγόνος τοῦ λαοῦ τούτου(lxx) Mic 2:11 If a man should walk in a false spirit And speak a lie, saying, 'I will prophesy to you of wine and drink,' Even he would be the prattler of this people.(nkjv) ======= Micah 2:12 ============ Mic 2:12 "I will surely assemble all of you, Jacob, I will surely gather the remnant of Israel. I will put them together like sheep in the fold; Like a flock in the midst of its pasture They will be noisy with men.(nasb) Mic 2:12 Congregatione congregabo, Jacob, totum te; in unum conducam reliquias Israël: pariter ponam illum quasi gregem in ovili, quasi pecus in medio caularum: tumultuabuntur a multitudine hominum.(vulgate) Miqueas 2:12 De cierto te reuniré todo, oh Jacob; ciertamente recogeré el remanente de Israel; los reuniré como ovejas de Bosra, como rebaño en medio de su aprisco; harán estruendo por [la multitud] de hombres.(E) Michée 2:12 Je te rassemblerai tout entier, ô Jacob!
