Knowledge makes arrogant, but love edifies.(nasb) 1Co 8:1 De iis autem quæ idolis sacrificantur, scimus quia omnes scientiam habemus. Scientia inflat, caritas vero ædificat.(vulgate) 1 Corintios 8:1 Y en cuanto a lo sacrificado a los ídolos, sabemos que todos tenemos conocimiento. Quidam autem cum conscientia usque nunc idoli, quasi idolothytum manducant: et conscientia ipsorum cum sit infirma, polluitur.(vulgate) 1 Corintios 8:7 Pero no en todos [hay] este conocimiento; porque algunos con conciencia del ídolo hasta ahora, comen como sacrificado a ídolos; y su conciencia, siendo débil, se contamina.(E) 1 Corinthiens 8:7 Mais cette connaissance n'est pas chez tous. Quelques-uns, d'après la manière dont ils envisagent encore l'idole, mangent de ces viandes comme étant sacrifiées aux idoles, et leur conscience, qui est faible, en est souillée.(F) 1Co 8:7 Es hat aber nicht jedermann das Wissen. Denn etliche machen sich noch ein Gewissen über dem Götzen und essen's für Götzenopfer; damit wird ihr Gewissen, weil es so schwach ist, befleckt.(D) 1Co 8:7 ἀλλ᾽ οὐκ ἐν πᾶσιν ἡ γνῶσις· τινὲς δὲ τῇ συνηθείᾳ ἕως ἄρτι τοῦ εἰδώλου ὡς εἰδωλόθυτον ἐσθίουσιν, καὶ ἡ συνείδησις αὐτῶν ἀσθενὴς οὗσα μολύνεται.(Nestle-Aland) 1Co 8:7 However, there is not in everyone that knowledge; for some, with consciousness of the idol, until now eat it as a thing offered to an idol; and their conscience, being weak, is defiled.(nkjv) ======= 1 Corinthians 8:8 ============ 1Co 8:8 But food will not commend us to God; we are neither the worse if we do not eat, nor the better if we do eat.(nasb) 1Co 8:8 Esca autem nos non commendat Deo. Neque enim si manducaverimus, abundabimus: neque si non manducaverimus, deficiemus.(vulgate) 1 Corintios 8:8 Si bien el alimento no nos hace más aceptos a Dios; pues ni porque comamos, seremos más; ni porque no comamos, seremos menos.(E) 1 Corinthiens 8:8 Ce n'est pas un aliment qui nous rapproche de Dieu: si nous en mangeons, nous n'avons rien de plus; si nous n'en mangeons pas, nous n'avons rien de moins.(F) 1Co 8:8 Aber die Speise fördert uns vor Gott nicht: essen wir, so werden wir darum nicht besser sein; essen wir nicht, so werden wir darum nicht weniger sein.(D) 1Co 8:8 βρῶμα δὲ ἡμᾶς οὐ παραστήσει τῶ θεῶ· οὔτε ἐὰν μὴ φάγωμεν ὑστερούμεθα, οὔτε ἐὰν φάγωμεν περισσεύομεν.(Nestle-Aland) 1Co 8:8 But food does not commend us to God; for neither if we eat are we the better, nor if we do not eat are we the worse.(nkjv) ======= 1 Corinthians 8:9 ============ 1Co 8:9 But take care that this liberty of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to the weak.(nasb) 1Co 8:9 Videte autem ne forte hæc licentia vestra offendiculum fiat infirmis.(vulgate) 1 Corintios 8:9 Mas mirad que esta vuestra libertad de ninguna manera venga a ser tropezadero a los que son débiles.(E) 1 Corinthiens 8:9 Prenez garde, toutefois, que votre liberté ne devienne une pierre d'achoppement pour les faibles.(F) 1Co 8:9 Sehet aber zu, daß diese eure Freiheit nicht gerate zum Anstoß der Schwachen!(D) 1Co 8:9 βλέπετε δὲ μή πως ἡ ἐξουσία ὑμῶν αὕτη πρόσκομμα γένηται τοῖς ἀσθενέσιν.(Nestle-Aland) 1Co 8:9 But beware lest somehow this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to those who are weak.(nkjv) ======= 1 Corinthians 8:10 ============ 1Co 8:10 For if someone sees you, who have knowledge, dining in an idol's temple, will not his conscience, if he is weak, be strengthened to eat things sacrificed to idols?(nasb) 1Co 8:10 Si enim quis viderit eum, qui habet scientiam, in idolio recumbentem: nonne conscientia ejus, cum sit infirma, ædificabitur ad manducandum idolothyta?(vulgate) 1 Corintios 8:10 Porque si te ve alguno a ti, que tienes conocimiento, sentado a la mesa en el templo de los ídolos, la conciencia de aquel que es débil, ¿no será incitada a comer de lo sacrificado a los ídolos?(E) 1 Corinthiens 8:10 Car, si quelqu'un te voit, toi qui as de la connaissance, assis à table dans un temple d'idoles, sa conscience, à lui qui est faible, ne le portera-t-elle pas à manger des viandes sacrifiées aux idoles?(F) 1Co 8:10 Denn so dich, der du die Erkenntnis hast, jemand sähe zu Tische sitzen im Götzenhause, wird nicht sein Gewissen, obwohl er schwach ist, ermutigt, das Götzenopfer zu essen?(D) 1Co 8:10 ἐὰν γάρ τις ἴδῃ σὲ τὸν ἔχοντα γνῶσιν ἐν εἰδωλείῳ κατακείμενον, οὐχὶ ἡ συνείδησις αὐτοῦ ἀσθενοῦς ὄντος οἰκοδομηθήσεται εἰς τὸ τὰ εἰδωλόθυτα ἐσθίειν;(Nestle-Aland) 1Co 8:10 For if anyone sees you who have knowledge eating in an idol's temple, will not the conscience of him who is weak be emboldened to eat those things offered to idols?(nkjv) ======= 1 Corinthians 8:11 ============ 1Co 8:11 For through your knowledge he who is weak is ruined, the brother for whose sake Christ died.(nasb) 1Co 8:11 Et peribit infirmus in tua scientia, frater, propter quem Christus mortuus est?(vulgate) 1 Corintios 8:11 Y por tu conocimiento se perderá el hermano débil por el cual Cristo murió.(E) 1 Corinthiens 8:11 Et ainsi le faible périra par ta connaissance, le frère pour lequel Christ est mort!(F) 1Co 8:11 Und also wird über deiner Erkenntnis der schwache Bruder umkommen, um des willen doch Christus gestorben ist.(D) 1Co 8:11 ἀπόλλυται γὰρ ὁ ἀσθενῶν ἐν τῇ σῇ γνώσει, ὁ ἀδελφὸς δι᾽ ὃν χριστὸς ἀπέθανεν.(Nestle-Aland) 1Co 8:11 And because of your knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?(nkjv) ======= 1 Corinthians 8:12 ============ 1Co 8:12 And so, by sinning against the brethren and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.(nasb) 1Co 8:12 Sic autem peccantes in fratres, et percutientes conscientiam eorum infirmam, in Christum peccatis.(vulgate) 1 Corintios 8:12 De esta manera, pues, pecando contra los hermanos, e hiriendo su débil conciencia, contra Cristo pecáis.(E) 1 Corinthiens 8:12 En péchant de la sorte contre les frères, et en blessant leur conscience faible, vous péchez contre Christ.(F) 1Co 8:12 Wenn ihr aber also sündigt an den Brüdern, und schlagt ihr schwaches Gewissen, so sündigt ihr an Christo.(D) 1Co 8:12 οὕτως δὲ ἁμαρτάνοντες εἰς τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς καὶ τύπτοντες αὐτῶν τὴν συνείδησιν ἀσθενοῦσαν εἰς χριστὸν ἁμαρτάνετε.(Nestle-Aland) 1Co 8:12 But when you thus sin against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.(nkjv) ======= 1 Corinthians 8:13 ============ 1Co 8:13 Therefore, if food causes my brother to stumble, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause my brother to stumble.(nasb) 1Co 8:13 Quapropter si esca scandalizat fratrem meum, non manducabo carnem in æternum, ne fratrem meum scandalizem.(vulgate) 1 Corintios 8:13 Por lo cual, si la comida hace tropezar a mi hermano, jamás comeré carne para no ser tropiezo a mi hermano.(E) 1 Corinthiens 8:13 C'est pourquoi, si un aliment scandalise mon frère, je ne mangerai jamais de viande, afin de ne pas scandaliser mon frère.(F) 1Co 8:13 Darum, so die Speise meinen Bruder ärgert, wollt ich nimmermehr Fleisch essen, auf daß ich meinen Bruder nicht ärgere.(D) 1Co 8:13 διόπερ εἰ βρῶμα σκανδαλίζει τὸν ἀδελφόν μου, οὐ μὴ φάγω κρέα εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα, ἵνα μὴ τὸν ἀδελφόν μου σκανδαλίσω.(Nestle-Aland) 1Co 8:13 Therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, I will never again eat meat, lest I make my brother stumble.(nkjv) ======= 1 Corinthians 9:1 ============ top of the page
