Today's Date: ======= Numbers 20:1 ============ Num 20:1 Then the sons of Israel, the whole congregation, came to the wilderness of Zin in the first month; and the people stayed at Kadesh. Now Miriam died there and was buried there.(nas) Num 20:1 καὶ ἦλθον οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ πᾶσα ἡ συναγωγή εἰς τὴν ἔρημον Σιν ἐν τῷ μηνὶ τῷ πρώτῳ καὶ κατέμεινεν ὁ λαὸς ἐν Καδης καὶ ἐτελεύτησεν ἐκεῖ Μαριαμ καὶ ἐτάφη ἐκεῖ (lxx) Num 20:1 Veneruntque filii Israël et omnis multitudo in desertum Sin, mense primo, et mansit populus in Cades. Mortuaque est ibi Maria, et sepulta in eodem loco.(vulgate) 1 ׃20 וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ בְנֵֽי־יִ֠שְׂרָאֵל כָּל־הָ֨עֵדָ֤ה מִדְבַּר־צִן֙ בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ הָֽרִאשׁ֔וֹן וַיֵּ֥שֶׁב הָעָ֖ם בְּקָדֵ֑שׁ וַתָּ֤מָת שָׁם֙ מִרְיָ֔ם וַתִּקָּבֵ֖ר שָֽׁם׃ Numbers Num 20:1 Und die Kinder Israel kamen mit der ganzen Gemeinde in die Wüste Zin im ersten Monat, und das Volk lag zu Kades. Und Mirjam starb daselbst und ward daselbst begraben.(dhs) Num 20:1 Then the children of Israel, the whole congregation, came into the Wilderness of Zin in the first month, and the people stayed in Kadesh; and Miriam died there and was buried there.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 20:2 ============ Num 20:2 There was no water for the congregation, and they assembled themselves against Moses and Aaron.(nas) Num 20:2 καὶ οὐκ ἦν ὕδωρ τῇ συναγωγῇ καὶ ἠθροίσθησαν ἐπὶ Μωυσῆν καὶ Ααρων (lxx) Num 20:2 Cumque indigeret aqua populus, convenerunt adversum Moysen et Aaron:(vulgate) 2 ׃20 וְלֹא־הָ֥יָה מַ֖יִם לָעֵדָ֑ה וַיִּקָּ֣הֲל֔וּ עַל־מֹשֶׁ֖ה וְעַֽל־אַהֲרֹֽן׃ Numbers Num 20:2 Und die Gemeinde hatte kein Wasser, und sie versammelten sich wider Mose und Aaron.(dhs) Num 20:2 Now there was no water for the congregation; so they gathered together against Moses and Aaron.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 20:3 ============ Num 20:3 The people thus contended with Moses and spoke, saying, "If only we had perished when our brothers perished before the Lord!(nas) Num 20:3 καὶ ἐλοιδορεῖτο ὁ λαὸς πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγοντες ὄφελον ἀπεθάνομεν ἐν τῇ ἀπωλείᾳ τῶν ἀδελφῶν ἡμῶν ἔναντι κυρίου (lxx) Num 20:3 et versi in seditionem, dixerunt: Utinam periissemus inter fratres nostros coram Domino.(vulgate) 3 ׃20 וַיָּ֥רֶב הָעָ֖ם עִם־מֹשֶׁ֑ה וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ לֵאמֹ֔ר וְל֥וּ גָוַ֛עְנוּ בִּגְוַ֥ע אַחֵ֖ינוּ לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ Numbers Num 20:3 Und das Volk haderte mit Mose und sprach: Ach, daß wir umgekommen wären, da unsere Brüder umkamen vor dem HERRN!(dhs) Num 20:3 And the people contended with Moses and spoke, saying: "If only we had died when our brethren died before the Lord!(nkjv) ======= Numbers 20:4 ============ Num 20:4 Why then have you brought the Lord's assembly into this wilderness, for us and our beasts to die here?(nas) Num 20:4 καὶ ἵνα τί ἀνηγάγετε τὴν συναγωγὴν κυρίου εἰς τὴν ἔρημον ταύτην ἀποκτεῖναι ἡμᾶς καὶ τὰ κτήνη ἡμῶν (lxx) Num 20:4 Cur eduxistis ecclesiam Domini in solitudinem, ut et nos et nostra jumenta moriamur?(vulgate) 4 ׃20 וְלָמָ֤ה הֲבֵאתֶם֙ אֶת־קְהַ֣ל יְהוָ֔ה אֶל־הַמִּדְבָּ֖ר הַזֶּ֑ה לָמ֣וּת שָׁ֔ם אֲנַ֖חְנוּ וּבְעִירֵֽנוּ׃ Numbers Num 20:4 Warum habt ihr die Gemeinde des HERRN in diese Wüste gebracht, daß wir hier sterben mit unserm Vieh?(dhs) Num 20:4 Why have you brought up the assembly of the Lord into this wilderness, that we and our animals should die here?(nkjv) ======= Numbers 20:5 ============ Num 20:5 Why have you made us come up from Egypt, to bring us in to this wretched place? It is not a place of grain or figs or vines or pomegranates, nor is there water to drink."(nas) Num 20:5 καὶ ἵνα τί τοῦτο ἀνηγάγετε ἡμᾶς ἐξ Αἰγύπτου παραγενέσθαι εἰς τὸν τόπον τὸν πονηρὸν τοῦτον τόπος οὗ οὐ σπείρεται οὐδὲ συκαῖ οὐδὲ ἄμπελοι οὐδὲ ῥόαι οὐδὲ ὕδωρ ἐστὶν πιεῖν (lxx) Num 20:5 quare nos fecistis ascendere de Ægypto, et adduxistis in locum istum pessimum, qui seri non potest, qui nec ficum gignit, nec vineas, nec malogranata, insuper et aquam non habet ad bibendum?(vulgate) 5 ׃20 וְלָמָ֤ה הֶֽעֱלִיתֻ֙נוּ֙ מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם לְהָבִ֣יא אֹתָ֔נוּ אֶל־הַמָּק֥וֹם הָרָ֖ע הַזֶּ֑ה לֹ֣א ׀ מְק֣וֹם זֶ֗רַע וּתְאֵנָ֤ה וְגֶ֙פֶן֙ וְרִמּ֔וֹן וּמַ֥יִם אַ֖יִן לִשְׁתּֽוֹת׃ Numbers Num 20:5 Und warum habt ihr uns aus Ägypten geführt an diesen bösen Ort, da man nicht säen kann, da weder Feigen noch Weinstöcke noch Granatäpfel sind und dazu kein Wasser zu trinken?(dhs) Num 20:5 And why have you made us come up out of Egypt, to bring us to this evil place? It is not a place of grain or figs or vines or pomegranates; nor is there any water to drink."(nkjv) ======= Numbers 20:6 ============ Num 20:6 Then Moses and Aaron came in from the presence of the assembly to the doorway of the tent of meeting and fell on their faces. Then the glory of the Lord appeared to them;(nas) Num 20:6 καὶ ἦλθεν Μωυσῆς καὶ Ααρων ἀπὸ προσώπου τῆς συναγωγῆς ἐπὶ τὴν θύραν τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἔπεσαν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον καὶ ὤφθη ἡ δόξα κυρίου πρὸς αὐτούς (lxx) Num 20:6 Ingressusque Moyses et Aaron, dimissa multitudine, tabernaculum fœderis, corruerunt proni in terram, clamaveruntque ad Dominum, atque dixerunt: Domine Deus, audi clamorem hujus populi, et aperi eis thesaurum tuum fontem aquæ vivæ, ut satiati, cesset murmuratio eorum. Et apparuit gloria Domini super eos.~(vulgate) 6 ׃20 וַיָּבֹא֩ מֹשֶׁ֨ה וְאַהֲרֹ֜ן מִפְּנֵ֣י הַקָּהָ֗ל אֶל־פֶּ֙תַח֙ אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד וַֽיִּפְּל֖וּ עַל־פְּנֵיהֶ֑ם וַיֵּרָ֥א כְבוֹד־יְהוָ֖ה אֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ פ Numbers Num 20:6 Mose und Aaron gingen vor der Gemeinde zur Tür der Hütte des Stifts und fielen auf ihr Angesicht, und die Herrlichkeit des HERRN erschien ihnen.(dhs) Num 20:6 So Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and they fell on their faces. And the glory of the Lord appeared to them.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 20:7 ============ Num 20:7 and the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,(nas) Num 20:7 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων (lxx) Num 20:7 Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens:(vulgate) 7 ׃20 וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ Numbers Num 20:7 Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach:(dhs) Num 20:7 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,(nkjv) ======= Numbers 20:8 ============ Num 20:8 "Take the rod; and you and your brother Aaron assemble the congregation and speak to the rock before their eyes, that it may yield its water. You shall thus bring forth water for them out of the rock and let the congregation and their beasts drink."(nas) Num 20:8 λαβὲ τὴν ῥάβδον καὶ ἐκκλησίασον τὴν συναγωγὴν σὺ καὶ Ααρων ὁ ἀδελφός σου καὶ λαλήσατε πρὸς τὴν πέτραν ἔναντι αὐτῶν καὶ δώσει τὰ ὕδατα αὐτῆς καὶ ἐξοίσετε αὐτοῖς ὕδωρ ἐκ τῆς πέτρας καὶ ποτιεῖτε τὴν συναγωγὴν καὶ τὰ κτήνη αὐτῶν (lxx) Num 20:8 Tolle virgam, et congrega populum, tu et Aaron frater tuus, et loquimini ad petram coram eis, et illa dabit aquas. Cumque eduxeris aquam de petra, bibet omnis multitudo et jumenta ejus.(vulgate) 8 ׃20 קַ֣ח אֶת־הַמַּטֶּ֗ה וְהַקְהֵ֤ל אֶת־הָעֵדָה֙ אַתָּה֙ וְאַהֲרֹ֣ן אָחִ֔יךָ וְדִבַּרְתֶּ֧ם אֶל־הַסֶּ֛לַע לְעֵינֵיהֶ֖ם וְנָתַ֣ן מֵימָ֑יו וְהוֹצֵאתָ֨ לָהֶ֥ם מַ֙יִם֙ מִן־הַסֶּ֔לַע וְהִשְׁקִיתָ֥ אֶת־הָעֵדָ֖ה וְאֶת־בְּעִירָֽם׃ Numbers Num 20:8 Nimm den Stab und versammle die Gemeinde, du und dein Bruder Aaron, und redet mit dem Fels vor ihren Augen; der wird sein Wasser geben. Also sollst du ihnen Wasser aus dem Fels bringen und die Gemeinde tränken und ihr Vieh.(dhs) Num 20:8 "Take the rod; you and your brother Aaron gather the congregation together. Speak to the rock before their eyes, and it will yield its water; thus you shall bring water for them out of the rock, and give drink to the congregation and their animals."(nkjv) ======= Numbers 20:9 ============ Num 20:9 So Moses took the rod from before the Lord, just as He had commanded him;(nas) Num 20:9 καὶ ἔλαβεν Μωυσῆς τὴν ῥάβδον τὴν ἀπέναντι κυρίου καθὰ συνέταξεν κύριος (lxx) Num 20:9 Tulit igitur Moyses virgam, quæ erat in conspectu Domini, sicut præceperat ei,(vulgate) 9 ׃20 וַיִּקַּ֥ח מֹשֶׁ֛ה אֶת־הַמַּטֶּ֖ה מִלִּפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר צִוָּֽהוּ׃ Numbers Num 20:9 Da nahm Mose den Stab vor dem HERRN, wie er ihm geboten hatte.(dhs) Num 20:9 So Moses took the rod from before the Lord as He commanded him.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 20:10 ============ Num 20:10 and Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly before the rock. And he said to them, "Listen now, you rebels; shall we bring forth water for you out of this rock?"(nas) Num 20:10 καὶ ἐξεκκλησίασεν Μωυσῆς καὶ Ααρων τὴν συναγωγὴν ἀπέναντι τῆς πέτρας καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς ἀκούσατέ μου οἱ ἀπειθεῖς μὴ ἐκ τῆς πέτρας ταύτης ἐξάξομεν ὑμῖν ὕδωρ (lxx) Num 20:10 congregata multitudine ante petram: dixitque eis: Audite, rebelles et increduli: num de petra hac vobis aquam poterimus ejicere?(vulgate) 10 ׃20 וַיַּקְהִ֜לוּ מֹשֶׁ֧ה וְאַהֲרֹ֛ן אֶת־הַקָּהָ֖ל אֶל־פְּנֵ֣י הַסָּ֑לַע וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לָהֶ֗ם שִׁמְעוּ־נָא֙ הַמֹּרִ֔ים הֲמִן־הַסֶּ֣לַע הַזֶּ֔ה נוֹצִ֥יא לָכֶ֖ם מָֽיִם׃ Numbers Num 20:10 Und Mose und Aaron versammelten die Gemeinde vor den Fels, und er sprach zu ihnen: Höret, ihr Ungehorsamen, werden wir euch Wasser bringen aus jenem Fels?(dhs) Num 20:10 And Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock; and he said to them, "Hear now, you rebels! Must we bring water for you out of this rock?"(nkjv) ======= Numbers 20:11 ============ Num 20:11 Then Moses lifted up his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came forth abundantly, and the congregation and their beasts drank.(nas) Num 20:11 καὶ ἐπάρας Μωυσῆς τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ ἐπάταξεν τὴν πέτραν τῇ ῥάβδῳ δίς καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ὕδωρ πολύ καὶ ἔπιεν ἡ συναγωγὴ καὶ τὰ κτήνη αὐτῶν (lxx) Num 20:11 Cumque elevasset Moyses manum, percutiens virga bis silicem, egressæ sunt aquæ largissimæ, ita ut populus biberet et jumenta.(vulgate) 11 ׃20 וַיָּ֨רֶם מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶת־יָד֗וֹ וַיַּ֧ךְ אֶת־הַסֶּ֛לַע בְּמַטֵּ֖הוּ פַּעֲמָ֑יִם וַיֵּצְאוּ֙ מַ֣יִם רַבִּ֔ים וַתֵּ֥שְׁתְּ הָעֵדָ֖ה וּבְעִירָֽם׃ ס Numbers Num 20:11 Und Mose hob seine Hand auf und schlug den Fels mit dem Stab zweimal. Da ging viel Wasser heraus, daß die Gemeinde trank und ihr Vieh.(dhs) Num 20:11 Then Moses lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 20:12 ============ Num 20:12 But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, "Because you have not believed Me, to treat Me as holy in the sight of the sons of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them."(nas) Num 20:12 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν καὶ Ααρων ὅτι οὐκ ἐπιστεύσατε ἁγιάσαι με ἐναντίον υἱῶν Ισραηλ διὰ τοῦτο οὐκ εἰσάξετε ὑμεῖς τὴν συναγωγὴν ταύτην εἰς τὴν γῆν ἣν δέδωκα αὐτοῖς (lxx) Num 20:12 Dixitque Dominus ad Moysen et Aaron: Quia non credidistis mihi, ut sanctificaretis me coram filiis Israël, non introducetis hos populos in terram, quam dabo eis.(vulgate) 12 ׃20 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יְהוָה֮ אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֣ה וְאֶֽל־אַהֲרֹן֒ יַ֚עַן לֹא־הֶאֱמַנְתֶּ֣ם בִּ֔י לְהַ֨קְדִּישֵׁ֔נִי לְעֵינֵ֖י בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל לָכֵ֗ן לֹ֤א תָבִ֙יאוּ֙ אֶת־הַקָּהָ֣ל הַזֶּ֔ה אֶל־הָאָ֖רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־נָתַ֥תִּי לָהֶֽם׃ Numbers Num 20:12 Der HERR aber sprach zu Mose und Aaron: Darum daß ihr nicht an mich geglaubt habt, mich zu heiligen vor den Kindern Israel, sollt ihr diese Gemeinde nicht in das Land bringen, das ich ihnen geben werde.(dhs) Num 20:12 Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, "Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them."(nkjv) ======= Numbers 20:13 ============ Num 20:13 Those were the waters of Meribah, because the sons of Israel contended with the Lord, and He proved Himself holy among them.(nas) Num 20:13 τοῦτο ὕδωρ ἀντιλογίας ὅτι ἐλοιδορήθησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ ἡγιάσθη ἐν αὐτοῖς (lxx) Num 20:13 Hæc est aqua contradictionis, ubi jurgati sunt filii Israël contra Dominum, et sanctificatus est in eis.~(vulgate) 13 ׃20 הֵ֚מָּה מֵ֣י מְרִיבָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־רָב֥וּ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל אֶת־יְהוָ֑ה וַיִּקָּדֵ֖שׁ בָּֽם׃ ס Numbers Num 20:13 Das ist das Haderwasser, darüber die Kinder Israel mit dem HERRN haderten und er geheiligt ward an ihnen.(dhs) Num 20:13 This was the water of Meribah, because the children of Israel contended with the Lord, and He was hallowed among them.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 20:14 ============ Num 20:14 From Kadesh Moses then sent messengers to the king of Edom: "Thus your brother Israel has said, 'You know all the hardship that has befallen us;(nas) Num 20:14 καὶ ἀπέστειλεν Μωυσῆς ἀγγέλους ἐκ Καδης πρὸς βασιλέα Εδωμ λέγων τάδε λέγει ὁ ἀδελφός σου Ισραηλ σὺ ἐπίστῃ πάντα τὸν μόχθον τὸν εὑρόντα ἡμᾶς (lxx) Num 20:14 Misit interea nuntios Moyses de Cades ad regem Edom, qui dicerent: Hæc mandat frater tuus Israël: Nosti omnem laborem qui apprehendit nos,(vulgate) 14 ׃20 וַיִּשְׁלַ֨ח מֹשֶׁ֧ה מַלְאָכִ֛ים מִקָּדֵ֖שׁ אֶל־מֶ֣לֶךְ אֱד֑וֹם כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אָחִ֣יךָ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אַתָּ֣ה יָדַ֔עְתָּ אֵ֥ת כָּל־הַתְּלָאָ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר מְצָאָֽתְנוּ׃ Numbers Num 20:14 Und Mose sandte Botschaft aus Kades zu dem König der Edomiter: Also läßt dir dein Bruder Israel sagen: Du weißt alle die Mühsal, die uns betroffen hat,(dhs) Num 20:14 Now Moses sent messengers from Kadesh to the king of Edom. "Thus says your brother Israel: 'You know all the hardship that has befallen us,(nkjv) ======= Numbers 20:15 ============ Num 20:15 that our fathers went down to Egypt, and we stayed in Egypt a long time, and the Egyptians treated us and our fathers badly.(nas) Num 20:15 καὶ κατέβησαν οἱ πατέρες ἡμῶν εἰς Αἴγυπτον καὶ παρῳκήσαμεν ἐν Αἰγύπτῳ ἡμέρας πλείους καὶ ἐκάκωσαν ἡμᾶς οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι καὶ τοὺς πατέρας ἡμῶν (lxx) Num 20:15 quomodo descenderint patres nostri in Ægyptum, et habitaverimus ibi multo tempore, afflixerintque nos Ægyptii, et patres nostros:(vulgate) 15 ׃20 וַיֵּרְד֤וּ אֲבֹתֵ֙ינוּ֙ מִצְרַ֔יְמָה וַנֵּ֥שֶׁב בְּמִצְרַ֖יִם יָמִ֣ים רַבִּ֑ים וַיָּרֵ֥עוּ לָ֛נוּ מִצְרַ֖יִם וְלַאֲבֹתֵֽינוּ׃ Numbers Num 20:15 daß unsre Väter nach Ägypten hinabgezogen sind und wir lange Zeit in Ägypten gewohnt haben, und die Ägypter behandelten uns und unsre Väter übel.(dhs) Num 20:15 how our fathers went down to Egypt, and we dwelt in Egypt a long time, and the Egyptians afflicted us and our fathers.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 20:16 ============ Num 20:16 But when we cried out to the Lord, He heard our voice and sent an angel and brought us out from Egypt; now behold, we are at Kadesh, a town on the edge of your territory.(nas) Num 20:16 καὶ ἀνεβοήσαμεν πρὸς κύριον καὶ εἰσήκουσεν κύριος τῆς φωνῆς ἡμῶν καὶ ἀποστείλας ἄγγελον ἐξήγαγεν ἡμᾶς ἐξ Αἰγύπτου καὶ νῦν ἐσμεν ἐν Καδης πόλει ἐκ μέρους τῶν ὁρίων σου (lxx) Num 20:16 et quomodo clamaverimus ad Dominum, et exaudierit nos, miseritque angelum, qui eduxerit nos de Ægypto. Ecce in urbe Cades, quæ est in extremis finibus tuis, positi,(vulgate) 16 ׃20 וַנִּצְעַ֤ק אֶל־יְהוָה֙ וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע קֹלֵ֔נוּ וַיִּשְׁלַ֣ח מַלְאָ֔ךְ וַיֹּצִאֵ֖נוּ מִמִּצְרָ֑יִם וְהִנֵּה֙ אֲנַ֣חְנוּ בְקָדֵ֔שׁ עִ֖יר קְצֵ֥ה גְבוּלֶֽךָ׃ Numbers Num 20:16 Und wir schrieen zu dem HERRN; der hat unsre Stimme erhört und einen Engel gesandt und uns aus Ägypten geführt. Und siehe, wir sind zu Kades, in der Stadt an deinen Grenzen.(dhs) Num 20:16 When we cried out to the Lord, He heard our voice and sent the Angel and brought us up out of Egypt; now here we are in Kadesh, a city on the edge of your border.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 20:17 ============ Num 20:17 Please let us pass through your land. We will not pass through field or through vineyard; we will not even drink water from a well. We will go along the king's highway, not turning to the right or left, until we pass through your territory.'"(nas) Num 20:17 παρελευσόμεθα διὰ τῆς γῆς σου οὐ διελευσόμεθα δι᾽ ἀγρῶν οὐδὲ δι᾽ ἀμπελώνων οὐδὲ πιόμεθα ὕδωρ ἐκ λάκκου σου ὁδῷ βασιλικῇ πορευσόμεθα οὐκ ἐκκλινοῦμεν δεξιὰ οὐδὲ εὐώνυμα ἕως ἂν παρέλθωμεν τὰ ὅριά σου (lxx) Num 20:17 obsecramus ut nobis transire liceat per terram tuam. Und Aaron soll sich daselbst sammeln und sterben.(dhs) Num 20:26 and strip Aaron of his garments and put them on Eleazar his son; for Aaron shall be gathered to his people and die there."(nkjv) ======= Numbers 20:27 ============ Num 20:27 So Moses did just as the Lord had commanded, and they went up to Mount Hor in the sight of all the congregation.(nas) Num 20:27 καὶ ἐποίησεν Μωυσῆς καθὰ συνέταξεν κύριος καὶ ἀνεβίβασεν αὐτὸν εἰς Ωρ τὸ ὄρος ἐναντίον πάσης τῆς συναγωγῆς (lxx) Num 20:27 Fecit Moyses ut præceperat Dominus: et ascenderunt in montem Hor coram omni multitudine.(vulgate) 27 ׃20 וַיַּ֣עַשׂ מֹשֶׁ֔ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר צִוָּ֣ה יְהוָ֑ה וֽ͏ַיַּעֲלוּ֙ אֶל־הֹ֣ר הָהָ֔ר לְעֵינֵ֖י כָּל־הָעֵדָֽה׃ Numbers Num 20:27 Da tat Mose, wie ihm der HERR geboten hatte, und sie stiegen auf den Berg Hor vor der ganzen Gemeinde.(dhs) Num 20:27 So Moses did just as the Lord commanded, and they went up to Mount Hor in the sight of all the congregation.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 20:28 ============ Num 20:28 After Moses had stripped Aaron of his garments and put them on his son Eleazar, Aaron died there on the mountain top. Then Moses and Eleazar came down from the mountain.(nas) Num 20:28 καὶ ἐξέδυσεν Ααρων τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐνέδυσεν αὐτὰ Ελεαζαρ τὸν υἱὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀπέθανεν Ααρων ἐπὶ τῆς κορυφῆς τοῦ ὄρους καὶ κατέβη Μωυσῆς καὶ Ελεαζαρ ἐκ τοῦ ὄρους (lxx) Num 20:28 Cumque Aaron spoliasset vestibus suis, induit eis Eleazarum filium ejus.(vulgate) 28 ׃20 וַיַּפְשֵׁט֩ מֹשֶׁ֨ה אֶֽת־אַהֲרֹ֜ן אֶת־בְּגָדָ֗יו וַיַּלְבֵּ֤שׁ אֹתָם֙ אֶת־אֶלְעָזָ֣ר בְּנ֔וֹ וַיָּ֧מָת אַהֲרֹ֛ן שָׁ֖ם בְּרֹ֣אשׁ הָהָ֑ר וַיֵּ֧רֶד מֹשֶׁ֛ה וְאֶלְעָזָ֖ר מִן־הָהָֽר׃ Numbers Num 20:28 Und Mose zog Aaron seine Kleider aus und zog sie Eleasar an, seinem Sohne.(dhs) Num 20:28 Moses stripped Aaron of his garments and put them on Eleazar his son; and Aaron died there on the top of the mountain. Then Moses and Eleazar came down from the mountain.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 20:29 ============ Num 20:29 When all the congregation saw that Aaron had died, all the house of Israel wept for Aaron thirty days.(nas) Num 20:29 καὶ εἶδεν πᾶσα ἡ συναγωγὴ ὅτι ἀπελύθη Ααρων καὶ ἔκλαυσαν τὸν Ααρων τριάκοντα ἡμέρας πᾶς οἶκος Ισραηλ (lxx) Num 20:29 Illo mortuo in montis supercilio, descendit cum Eleazaro. Omnis autem multitudo videns occubuisse Aaron, flevit super eo triginta diebus per cunctas familias suas.(vulgate) 29 ׃20 וַיִּרְאוּ֙ כָּל־הָ֣עֵדָ֔ה כִּ֥י גָוַ֖ע אַהֲרֹ֑ן וַיִּבְכּ֤וּ אֶֽת־אַהֲרֹן֙ שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים י֔וֹם כֹּ֖ל בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ ס Numbers Num 20:29 Und Aaron starb daselbst oben auf dem Berge.
