Give ear to my words, O Lord, Consider my meditation.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 5:2 ============ Psa 5:2 Heed the sound of my cry for help, my King and my God, For to You I pray.(nas) Psa 5:2 τὰ ῥήματά μου ἐνώτισαι κύριε σύνες τῆς κραυγῆς μου (lxx) Psa 5:2 Verba mea auribus percipe, Domine; intellige clamorem meum. Intende voci orationis meæ, rex meus et Deus meus.(vulgate) 3 ׃5 הַקְשִׁ֤יבָה ׀ לְק֬וֹל שַׁוְעִ֗י מַלְכִּ֥י וֵאלֹהָ֑י כִּֽי־אֵ֝לֶ֗יךָ אֶתְפַּלָּֽל׃ Psalms Psa 5:2 Vernimm mein Schreien, mein König und mein Gott; denn ich will vor dir beten.(dhs) Psa 5:2 Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For to You I will pray.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 5:3 ============ Psa 5:3 In the morning, O Lord, You will hear my voice; In the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch.(nas) Psa 5:3 πρόσχες τῇ φωνῇ τῆς δεήσεώς μου ὁ βασιλεύς μου καὶ ὁ θεός μου ὅτι πρὸς σὲ προσεύξομαι κύριε (lxx) Psa 5:3 Quoniam ad te orabo, Domine: mane exaudies vocem meam.(vulgate) 4 ׃5 יְֽהוָ֗ה בֹּ֭קֶר תִּשְׁמַ֣ע קוֹלִ֑י בֹּ֥קֶר אֶֽעֱרָךְ־לְ֝ךָ֗ וַאֲצַפֶּֽה׃ Psalms Psa 5:3 HERR, frühe wollest du meine Stimme hören; frühe will ich mich zu dir schicken und aufmerken.(dhs) Psa 5:3 My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 5:4 ============ Psa 5:4 For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness; No evil dwells with You.(nas) Psa 5:4 τὸ πρωὶ εἰσακούσῃ τῆς φωνῆς μου τὸ πρωὶ παραστήσομαί σοι καὶ ἐπόψομαι (lxx) Psa 5:4 Mane astabo tibi, et videbo quoniam non Deus volens iniquitatem tu es.(vulgate) 5 ׃5 כִּ֤י ׀ לֹ֤א אֵֽל־חָפֵ֘ץ רֶ֥שַׁע ׀ אָ֑תָּה לֹ֖א יְגֻרְךָ֣ רָֽע׃ Psalms Psa 5:4 Denn du bist nicht ein Gott, dem gottloses Wesen gefällt; wer böse ist, bleibt nicht vor dir.(dhs) Psa 5:4 For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, Nor shall evil dwell with You.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 5:5 ============ Psa 5:5 The boastful shall not stand before Your eyes; You hate all who do iniquity.(nas) Psa 5:5 ὅτι οὐχὶ θεὸς θέλων ἀνομίαν σὺ εἶ οὐδὲ παροικήσει σοι πονηρευόμενος (lxx) Psa 5:5 Neque habitabit juxta te malignus, neque permanebunt injusti ante oculos tuos.(vulgate) 6 ׃5 לֹֽא־יִתְיַצְּב֣וּ הֽ֭וֹלְלִים לְנֶ֣גֶד עֵינֶ֑יךָ שָׂ֝נֵ֗אתָ כָּל־פֹּ֥עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן׃ Psalms Psa 5:5 Die Ruhmredigen bestehen nicht vor deinen Augen; du bist feind allen Übeltätern.(dhs) Psa 5:5 The boastful shall not stand in Your sight; You hate all workers of iniquity.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 5:6 ============ Psa 5:6 You destroy those who speak falsehood; The Lord abhors the man of bloodshed and deceit.(nas) Psa 5:6 οὐ διαμενοῦσιν παράνομοι κατέναντι τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν σου ἐμίσησας πάντας τοὺς ἐργαζομένους τὴν ἀνομίαν (lxx) Psa 5:6 Odisti omnes qui operantur iniquitatem; perdes omnes qui loquuntur mendacium. Virum sanguinum et dolosum abominabitur Dominus.(vulgate) 7 ׃5 תְּאַבֵּד֮ דֹּבְרֵ֢י כָ֫זָ֥ב אִישׁ־דָּמִ֥ים וּמִרְמָ֗ה יְתָ֘עֵ֥ב ׀ יְהוָֽה׃ Psalms Psa 5:6 Du bringst die Lügner um; der HERR hat Greuel an den Blutgierigen und Falschen.(dhs) Psa 5:6 You shall destroy those who speak falsehood; The Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 5:7 ============ Psa 5:7 But as for me, by Your abundant lovingkindness I will enter Your house, At Your holy temple I will bow in reverence for You.(nas) Psa 5:7 ἀπολεῖς πάντας τοὺς λαλοῦντας τὸ ψεῦδος ἄνδρα αἱμάτων καὶ δόλιον βδελύσσεται κύριος (lxx) Psa 5:7 Ego autem in multitudine misericordiæ tuæ introibo in domum tuam; adorabo ad templum sanctum tuum in timore tuo.(vulgate) 8 ׃5 וַאֲנִ֗י בְּרֹ֣ב חַ֭סְדְּךָ אָב֣וֹא בֵיתֶ֑ךָ אֶשְׁתַּחֲוֶ֥ה אֶל־הֽ͏ֵיכַל־קָ֝דְשְׁךָ֗ בְּיִרְאָתֶֽךָ׃ Psalms Psa 5:7 Ich aber will in dein Haus gehen auf deine große Güte und anbeten gegen deinen heiligen Tempel in deiner Furcht.(dhs) Psa 5:7 But as for me, I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy; In fear of You I will worship toward Your holy temple.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 5:8 ============ Psa 5:8 O Lord, lead me in Your righteousness because of my foes; Make Your way straight before me.(nas) Psa 5:8 ἐγὼ δὲ ἐν τῷ πλήθει τοῦ ἐλέους σου εἰσελεύσομαι εἰς τὸν οἶκόν σου προσκυνήσω πρὸς ναὸν ἅγιόν σου ἐν φόβῳ σου (lxx) Psa 5:8 Domine, deduc me in justitia tua: propter inimicos meos dirige in conspectu tuo viam meam.(vulgate) 9 ׃5 יְהוָ֤ה ׀ נְחֵ֬נִי בְצִדְקָתֶ֗ךָ לְמַ֥עַן שׁוֹרְרָ֑י *הושר **הַיְשַׁ֖ר לְפָנַ֣י דַּרְכֶּֽךָ׃ Psalms Psa 5:8 HERR, leite mich in deiner Gerechtigkeit um meiner Feinde willen; richte deinen Weg vor mir her.(dhs) Psa 5:8 Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; Make Your way straight before my face.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 5:9 ============ Psa 5:9 There is nothing reliable in what they say; Their inward part is destruction itself. Their throat is an open grave; They flatter with their tongue.(nas) Psa 5:9 κύριε ὁδήγησόν με ἐν τῇ δικαιοσύνῃ σου ἕνεκα τῶν ἐχθρῶν μου κατεύθυνον ἐνώπιόν μου τὴν ὁδόν σου (lxx) Psa 5:9 Quoniam non est in ore eorum veritas; cor eorum vanum est. Sepulchrum patens est guttur eorum; linguis suis dolose agebant:(vulgate) 10 ׃5 כִּ֤י אֵ֪ין בְּפִ֡יהוּ נְכוֹנָה֮ קִרְבָּ֢ם הַ֫וּ֥וֹת קֶֽבֶר־פָּת֥וּחַ גְּרוֹנָ֑ם לְ֝שׁוֹנָ֗ם יַחֲלִֽיקוּן׃ Psalms Psa 5:9 Denn in ihrem Munde ist nichts Gewisses; ihr Inwendiges ist Herzeleid. Ihr Rachen ist ein offenes Grab; denn mit ihren Zungen heucheln sie.(dhs) Psa 5:9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; Their inward part is destruction; Their throat is an open tomb; They flatter with their tongue.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 5:10 ============ Psa 5:10 Hold them guilty, O God; By their own devices let them fall! In the multitude of their transgressions thrust them out, For they are rebellious against You.(nas) Psa 5:10 ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ἐν τῷ στόματι αὐτῶν ἀλήθεια ἡ καρδία αὐτῶν ματαία τάφος ἀνεῳγμένος ὁ λάρυγξ αὐτῶν ταῖς γλώσσαις αὐτῶν ἐδολιοῦσαν (lxx) Psa 5:10 judica illos, Deus. Decidant a cogitationibus suis; secundum multitudinem impietatum eorum expelle eos, quoniam irritaverunt te, Domine.(vulgate) 11 ׃5 הַֽאֲשִׁימֵ֨ם ׀ אֱֽלֹהִ֗ים יִפְּלוּ֮ מִֽמֹּעֲצ֢וֹתֵ֫יהֶ֥ם בְּרֹ֣ב פִּ֭שְׁעֵיהֶם הַדִּיחֵ֑מוֹ כִּי־מָ֥רוּ בָֽךְ׃ Psalms Psa 5:10 Sprich sie schuldig, Gott, daß sie fallen von ihrem Vornehmen. Stoße sie aus um ihrer großen Übertretungen willen; denn sie sind widerspenstig.(dhs) Psa 5:10 Pronounce them guilty, O God! Let them fall by their own counsels; Cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions, For they have rebelled against You.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 5:11 ============ Psa 5:11 But let all who take refuge in You be glad, Let them ever sing for joy; And may You shelter them, That those who love Your name may exult in You.(nas) Psa 5:11 κρῖνον αὐτούς ὁ θεός ἀποπεσάτωσαν ἀπὸ τῶν διαβουλίων αὐτῶν κατὰ τὸ πλῆθος τῶν ἀσεβειῶν αὐτῶν ἔξωσον αὐτούς ὅτι παρεπίκρανάν σε κύριε (lxx) Psa 5:11 Et lætentur omnes qui sperant in te; in æternum exsultabunt, et habitabis in eis. Et gloriabuntur in te omnes qui diligunt nomen tuum,(vulgate) 12 ׃5 וְיִשְׂמְח֨וּ כָל־ח֪וֹסֵי בָ֡ךְ לְעוֹלָ֣ם יְ֭רַנֵּנוּ וְתָסֵ֣ךְ עָלֵ֑ימוֹ וְֽיַעְלְצ֥וּ בְ֝ךָ֗ אֹהֲבֵ֥י שְׁמֶֽךָ׃ Psalms Psa 5:11 Laß sich freuen alle, die auf dich trauen; ewiglich laß sie rühmen, denn du beschirmst sie; fröhlich laß sein in dir, die deinen Namen lieben.(dhs) Psa 5:11 But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 5:12 ============ Psa 5:12 For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O Lord, You surround him with favor as with a shield.(nas) Psa 5:12 ὅτι σὺ εὐλογήσεις δίκαιον κύριε ὡς ὅπλῳ εὐδοκίας ἐστεφάνωσας ἡμᾶς (lxx) Psa 5:12 quoniam tu benedices justo. Domine, ut scuto bonæ voluntatis tuæ coronasti nos.](vulgate) 13 ׃5 כִּֽי־אַתָּה֮ תְּבָרֵ֢ךְ צַ֫דִּ֥יק יְהוָ֑ה כַּ֝צִּנָּ֗ה רָצ֥וֹן תַּעְטְרֶֽנּוּ׃ Psalms Psa 5:12 Denn du, HERR, segnest die Gerechten; du krönest sie mit Gnade wie mit einem Schild.(dhs) Psa 5:12 For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 6:1 ============ top of the page
