Today's Date: ======= Psalm 3:1 ============ Psa 3:1 A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. O Lord, how my adversaries have increased! Many are rising up against me.(nas) Psa 3:1 ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυιδ ὁπότε ἀπεδίδρασκεν ἀπὸ προσώπου Αβεσσαλωμ τοῦ υἱοῦ αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 3:1 Psalmus David, cum fugeret a facie Absalom filii sui.(vulgate) 1 ׃3 מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִ֑ד בְּ֝בָרְח֗וֹ מִפְּנֵ֤י ׀ אַבְשָׁל֬וֹם בְּנֽוֹ׃ 2 ׃3 יְ֭הוָה מָֽה־רַבּ֣וּ צָרָ֑י רַ֝בִּ֗ים קָמִ֥ים עָלָֽי׃ Psalms Psa 3:1 (Ein Psa lm Davids, da er floh vor seinem Sohn Absalom.) Selah.(nas) Psa 3:2 κύριε τί ἐπληθύνθησαν οἱ θλίβοντές με πολλοὶ ἐπανίστανται ἐπ᾽ ἐμέ (lxx) Psa 3:2 [Domine, quid multiplicati sunt qui tribulant me? Multi insurgunt adversum me;(vulgate) 3 ׃3 רַבִּים֮ אֹמְרִ֢ים לְנַ֫פְשִׁ֥י אֵ֤ין יְֽשׁוּעָ֓תָה לּ֬וֹ בֵֽאלֹהִ֬ים סֶֽלָה׃ Psalms Psa 3:2 Viele sagen von meiner Seele: Sie hat keine Hilfe bei Gott. Selah(nkjv) ======= Psalm 3:3 ============ Psa 3:3 But You, O Lord, are a shield about me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head.(nas) Psa 3:3 πολλοὶ λέγουσιν τῇ ψυχῇ μου οὐκ ἔστιν σωτηρία αὐτῷ ἐν τῷ θεῷ αὐτοῦ διάψαλμα (lxx) Psa 3:3 multi dicunt animæ meæ: Non est salus ipsi in Deo ejus.(vulgate) 4 ׃3 וְאַתָּ֣ה יְ֭הוָה מָגֵ֣ן בַּעֲדִ֑י כְּ֝בוֹדִ֗י וּמֵרִ֥ים רֹאשִֽׁ[t]י׃ Psalms Psa 3:3 Aber du, HERR, bist der Schild für mich und der mich zu Ehren setzt und mein Haupt aufrichtet.(dhs) Psa 3:3 But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 3:4 ============ Psa 3:4 I was crying to the Lord with my voice, And He answered me from His holy mountain. Selah.(nas) Psa 3:4 σὺ δέ κύριε ἀντιλήμπτωρ μου εἶ δόξα μου καὶ ὑψῶν τὴν κεφαλήν μου (lxx) Psa 3:4 Tu autem Domine, susceptor meus es, gloria mea, et exaltans caput meum.(vulgate) 5 ׃3 ק֖[d]וֹלִי אֶל־יְהוָ֣ה אֶקְרָ֑א וַיַּֽעֲנֵ֨נִי מֵהַ֖ר קָדְשׁ֣וֹ סֶֽלָה׃ Psalms Psa 3:4 Ich rufe an mit meiner Stimme den HERRN; so erhört er mich von seinem heiligen Berge. (Sela.)(dhs) Psa 3:4 I cried to the Lord with my voice, And He heard me from His holy hill. Selah(nkjv) ======= Psalm 3:5 ============ Psa 3:5 I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustains me.(nas) Psa 3:5 φωνῇ μου πρὸς κύριον ἐκέκραξα καὶ ἐπήκουσέν μου ἐξ ὄρους ἁγίου αὐτοῦ διάψαλμα (lxx) Psa 3:5 Voce mea ad Dominum clamavi; et exaudivit me de monte sancto suo.(vulgate) 6 ׃3 אֲנִ֥י שָׁכַ֗בְתִּי וָֽאִ֫ישָׁ֥נָה הֱקִיצ֑וֹתִי כִּ֖י יְהוָ֣ה יִסְמְכֵֽנִי׃ Psalms Psa 3:5 Ich liege und schlafe und erwache; denn der HERR hält mich.(dhs) Psa 3:5 I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustained me.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 3:6 ============ Psa 3:6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people Who have set themselves against me round about.(nas) Psa 3:6 ἐγὼ ἐκοιμήθην καὶ ὕπνωσα ἐξηγέρθην ὅτι κύριος ἀντιλήμψεταί μου (lxx) Psa 3:6 Ego dormivi, et soporatus sum; et exsurrexi, quia Dominus suscepit me.(vulgate) 7 ׃3 לֹֽא־אִ֭ירָא מֵרִבְב֥וֹת עָ֑ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר סָ֝בִ֗יב שָׁ֣תוּ עָלָֽ[t]י׃ Psalms Psa 3:6 Ich fürchte mich nicht vor viel Tausenden, die sich umher gegen mich legen.(dhs) Psa 3:6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people Who have set themselves against me all around.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 3:7 ============ Psa 3:7 Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God! For You have smitten all my enemies on the cheek; You have shattered the teeth of the wicked.(nas) Psa 3:7 οὐ φοβηθήσομαι ἀπὸ μυριάδων λαοῦ τῶν κύκλῳ συνεπιτιθεμένων μοι (lxx) Psa 3:7 Non timebo millia populi circumdantis me. Exsurge, Domine; salvum me fac, Deus meus. Quoniam tu percussisti omnes adversantes mihi sine causa; dentes peccatorum contrivisti.(vulgate) 8 ׃3 ק֘וּמָ֤ה יְהוָ֨ה ׀ הוֹשִׁ֘יעֵ֤נִי אֱלֹהַ֗י כִּֽי־הִכִּ֣יתָ אֶת־כָּל־אֹיְבַ֣י לֶ֑חִי שִׁנֵּ֖י רְשָׁעִ֣ים שִׁבַּֽרְתָּ׃ Psalms Psa 3:7 Auf, HERR, hilf mir, mein Gott! denn du schlägst alle meine Feinde auf den Backen und zerschmetterst der Gottlosen Zähne.(dhs) Psa 3:7 Arise, O Lord; Save me, O my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheekbone; You have broken the teeth of the ungodly.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 3:8 ============ Psa 3:8 Salvation belongs to the Lord; Your blessing be upon Your people!
