Today's Date: ======= Psalm 19:1 ============ Psa 19:1 The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.(nas) Psa 19:1 εἰς τὸ τέλος ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυιδ (lxx) Psa 19:1 [Vulgate 18:1] victori canticum David [Vulgate 18:2] caeli enarrant gloriam Dei et opus manus eius adnuntiat firmamentum(vulgate) 1 ׃19 לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִֽד׃ 2 ׃19 הַשָּׁמַ֗יִם מְֽסַפְּרִ֥ים כְּבֽוֹד־אֵ֑ל וּֽמַעֲשֵׂ֥ה יָ֝דָ֗יו מַגִּ֥יד הָרָקִֽיעַ׃ Psalms Psa 19:1 (Ein Psa lm Davids, vorzusingen.) Die Himmel erzählen die Ehre Gottes, und die Feste verkündigt seiner Hände Werk.(dhs) Psa 19:1 To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 19:2 ============ Psa 19:2 Day to day pours forth speech, And night to night reveals knowledge.(nas) Psa 19:2 οἱ οὐρανοὶ διηγοῦνται δόξαν θεοῦ ποίησιν δὲ χειρῶν αὐτοῦ ἀναγγέλλει τὸ στερέωμα (lxx) Psa 19:2 [Vulgate 18:3] dies diei eructat verbum et nox nocti indicat scientiam(vulgate) 3 ׃19 י֣וֹם לְ֭יוֹם יַבִּ֣יעַֽ אֹ֑מֶר וְלַ֥יְלָה לְּ֝לַ֗יְלָה יְחַוֶּה־דָּֽעַת׃ Psalms Psa 19:2 Ein Tag sagt's dem andern, und eine Nacht tut's kund der andern.(dhs) Psa 19:2 Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 19:3 ============ Psa 19:3 There is no speech, nor are there words; Their voice is not heard.(nas) Psa 19:3 ἡμέρα τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐρεύγεται ῥῆμα καὶ νὺξ νυκτὶ ἀναγγέλλει γνῶσιν (lxx) Psa 19:3 [Vulgate 18:4] non est sermo et non sunt verba quibus non audiatur vox eorum(vulgate) 4 ׃19 אֵֽין־אֹ֭מֶר וְאֵ֣ין דְּבָרִ֑ים בְּ֝לִ֗י נִשְׁמָ֥ע קוֹלָֽם׃ Psalms Psa 19:3 Es ist keine Sprache noch Rede, da man nicht ihre Stimme höre.(dhs) Psa 19:3 There is no speech nor language Where their voice is not heard.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 19:4 ============ Psa 19:4 Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their utterances to the end of the world. In them He has placed a tent for the sun,(nas) Psa 19:4 οὐκ εἰσὶν λαλιαὶ οὐδὲ λόγοι ὧν οὐχὶ ἀκούονται αἱ φωναὶ αὐτῶν (lxx) Psa 19:4 [Vulgate 18:5] in universam terram exivit sonus eorum et in finibus orbis verba eorum(vulgate) 5 ׃19 בְּכָל־הָאָ֨רֶץ ׀ יָ֘צָ֤א קַוָּ֗ם וּבִקְצֵ֣ה תֵ֭בֵל מִלֵּיהֶ֑ם לַ֝שֶּׁ֗מֶשׁ שָֽׂם־אֹ֥הֶל בָּהֶֽם׃ Psalms Psa 19:4 Ihre Schnur geht aus in alle Lande und ihre Rede an der Welt Ende. Er hat der Sonne eine Hütte an ihnen gemacht;(dhs) Psa 19:4 Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 19:5 ============ Psa 19:5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber; It rejoices as a strong man to run his course.(nas) Psa 19:5 εἰς πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν ἐξῆλθεν ὁ φθόγγος αὐτῶν καὶ εἰς τὰ πέρατα τῆς οἰκουμένης τὰ ῥήματα αὐτῶν ἐν τῷ ἡλίῳ ἔθετο τὸ σκήνωμα αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 19:5 [Vulgate 18:6] soli posuit tabernaculum in eis et ipse quasi sponsus procedens de thalamo suo exultavit ut fortis ad currendam viam(vulgate) 6 ׃19 וְה֗וּא כְּ֭חָתָן יֹצֵ֣א מֵחֻפָּת֑וֹ יָשִׂ֥ישׂ כְּ֝גִבּ֗וֹר לָר֥וּץ אֹֽרַח׃ Psalms Psa 19:5 und dieselbe geht heraus wie ein Bräutigam aus seiner Kammer und freut sich wie ein Held zu laufen den Weg.(dhs) Psa 19:5 Which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And rejoices like a strong man to run its race.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 19:6 ============ Psa 19:6 Its rising is from one end of the heavens, And its circuit to the other end of them; And there is nothing hidden from its heat.(nas) Psa 19:6 καὶ αὐτὸς ὡς νυμφίος ἐκπορευόμενος ἐκ παστοῦ αὐτοῦ ἀγαλλιάσεται ὡς γίγας δραμεῖν ὁδὸν αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 19:6 [Vulgate 18:7] a summitate caeli egressus eius et cursus eius usque ad summitatem illius nec est qui se abscondat a calore eius(vulgate) 7 ׃19 מִקְצֵ֤ה הַשָּׁמַ֨יִם ׀ מֽוֹצָא֗וֹ וּתְקוּפָת֥וֹ עַל־קְצוֹתָ֑ם וְאֵ֥ין נִ֝סְתָּ֗ר מֵֽחַמָּתוֹ׃ Psalms Psa 19:6 Sie geht auf an einem Ende des Himmels und läuft um bis wieder an sein Ende, und bleibt nichts vor ihrer Hitze verborgen.(dhs) Psa 19:6 Its rising is from one end of heaven, And its circuit to the other end; die Gebote des HERRN sind lauter und erleuchten die Augen.(dhs) Psa 19:8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;(nkjv) ======= Psalm 19:9 ============ Psa 19:9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true; they are righteous altogether.(nas) Psa 19:9 τὰ δικαιώματα κυρίου εὐθεῖα εὐφραίνοντα καρδίαν ἡ ἐντολὴ κυρίου τηλαυγής φωτίζουσα ὀφθαλμούς (lxx) Psa 19:9 [Vulgate 18:10] timor Domini mundus perseverans in saecula iudicia Domini vera iustificata in semet ipsis(vulgate) 10 ׃19 יִרְאַ֤ת יְהוָ֨ה ׀ טְהוֹרָה֮ עוֹמֶ֢דֶת לָ֫עַ֥ד מִֽשְׁפְּטֵי־יְהוָ֥ה אֱמֶ֑ת צָֽדְק֥וּ יַחְדָּֽו׃ Psalms Psa 19:9 Die Furcht des HERRN ist rein und bleibt ewiglich; die Rechte des HERRN sind wahrhaftig, allesamt gerecht.(dhs) Psa 19:9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 19:10 ============ Psa 19:10 They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb.(nas) Psa 19:10 ὁ φόβος κυρίου ἁγνός διαμένων εἰς αἰῶνα αἰῶνος τὰ κρίματα κυρίου ἀληθινά δεδικαιωμένα ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτό (lxx) Psa 19:10 [Vulgate 18:11] desiderabilia super aurum et lapidem pretiosum multum et dulciora super mel et favum redundantem(vulgate) 11 ׃19 הַֽנֶּחֱמָדִ֗ים מִ֭זָּהָב וּמִפַּ֣ז רָ֑ב וּמְתוּקִ֥ים מִ֝דְּבַ֗שׁ וְנֹ֣פֶת צוּפִֽים׃ Psalms Psa 19:10 Sie sind köstlicher denn Gold und viel feines Gold; In keeping them there is great reward.(nas) Psa 19:11 ἐπιθυμητὰ ὑπὲρ χρυσίον καὶ λίθον τίμιον πολὺν καὶ γλυκύτερα ὑπὲρ μέλι καὶ κηρίον (lxx) Psa 19:11 [Vulgate 18:12] unde et servus tuus docebit ea in custodiendis eis fructus multus(vulgate) 12 ׃19 גַּֽם־עַ֭בְדְּךָ נִזְהָ֣ר בָּהֶ֑ם בְּ֝שָׁמְרָ֗ם עֵ֣קֶב רָֽב׃ Psalms Psa 19:11 Auch wird dein Knecht durch sie erinnert; und wer sie hält, der hat großen Lohn.(dhs) Psa 19:11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned, And in keeping them there is great reward.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 19:12 ============ Psa 19:12 Who can discern his errors? Acquit me of hidden faults.(nas) Psa 19:12 καὶ γὰρ ὁ δοῦλός σου φυλάσσει αὐτά ἐν τῷ φυλάσσειν αὐτὰ ἀνταπόδοσις πολλή (lxx) Psa 19:12 [Vulgate 18:13] errores quis intelleget ab occultis munda me(vulgate) 13 ׃19 שְׁגִיא֥וֹת מִֽי־יָבִ֑ין מִֽנִּסְתָּר֥וֹת נַקֵּֽנִי׃ Psalms Psa 19:12 Wer kann merken, wie oft er fehlet? Verzeihe mir die verborgenen Fehle!(dhs) Psa 19:12 Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 19:13 ============ Psa 19:13 Also keep back Your servant from presumptuous sins; Let them not rule over me; Then I will be blameless, And I shall be acquitted of great transgression.(nas) Psa 19:13 παραπτώματα τίς συνήσει ἐκ τῶν κρυφίων μου καθάρισόν με (lxx) Psa 19:13 [Vulgate 18:14] a superbis quoque libera servum tuum si non fuerint dominati mei tunc inmaculatus ero et mundabor a delicto maximo(vulgate) 14 ׃19 גַּ֤ם מִזֵּדִ֨ים ׀ חֲשֹׂ֬ךְ עַבְדֶּ֗ךָ אַֽל־יִמְשְׁלוּ־בִ֣י אָ֣ז אֵיתָ֑ם וְ֝נִקֵּ֗יתִי מִפֶּ֥שַֽׁע רָֽב׃ Psalms Psa 19:13 Bewahre auch deinen Knecht vor den Stolzen, daß sie nicht über mich herrschen, so werde ich ohne Tadel sein und unschuldig bleiben großer Missetat.(dhs) Psa 19:13 Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me.
