The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 23:2 ============ Psa 23:2 He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters.(nas) Psa 23:2 εἰς τόπον χλόης ἐκεῖ με κατεσκήνωσεν ἐπὶ ὕδατος ἀναπαύσεως ἐξέθρεψέν με (lxx) Psa 23:2 [Vulgate 22:2] in pascuis herbarum adclinavit me super aquas refectionis enutrivit me(vulgate) 2 ׃23 בִּנְא֣וֹת דֶּ֭שֶׁא יַרְבִּיצֵ֑נִי עַל־מֵ֖י מְנֻח֣וֹת יְנַהֲלֵֽנִי׃ Psalms Psa 23:2 Er weidet mich auf grüner Aue und führet mich zum frischen Wasser.(dhs) Psa 23:2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 23:3 ============ Psa 23:3 He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.(nas) Psa 23:3 τὴν ψυχήν μου ἐπέστρεψεν ὡδήγησέν με ἐπὶ τρίβους δικαιοσύνης ἕνεκεν τοῦ ὀνόματος αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 23:3 [Vulgate 22:3] animam meam refecit duxit me per semitas iustitiae propter nomen suum(vulgate) 3 ׃23 נַפְשִׁ֥י יְשׁוֹבֵ֑ב יַֽנְחֵ֥נִי בְמַעְגְּלֵי־צֶ֝֗דֶק לְמַ֣עַן שְׁמֽוֹ׃ Psalms Psa 23:3 Er erquicket meine Seele; er führet mich auf rechter Straße um seines Namens willen.(dhs) Psa 23:3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 23:4 ============ Psa 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.(nas) Psa 23:4 ἐὰν γὰρ καὶ πορευθῶ ἐν μέσῳ σκιᾶς θανάτου οὐ φοβηθήσομαι κακά ὅτι σὺ μετ᾽ ἐμοῦ εἶ ἡ ῥάβδος σου καὶ ἡ βακτηρία σου αὐταί με παρεκάλεσαν (lxx) Psa 23:4 [Vulgate 22:4] sed et si ambulavero in valle mortis non timebo malum quoniam tu mecum es virga tua et baculus tuus ipsa consolabuntur me(vulgate) 4 ׃23 גַּ֤ם כִּֽי־אֵלֵ֨ךְ בְּגֵ֪יא צַלְמָ֡וֶת לֹא־אִ֘ירָ֤א רָ֗ע כִּי־אַתָּ֥ה עִמָּדִ֑י שִׁבְטְךָ֥ וּ֝מִשְׁעַנְתֶּ֗ךָ הֵ֣מָּה יְנַֽחֲמֻֽנִי׃ Psalms Psa 23:4 Und ob ich schon wanderte im finstern Tal, fürchte ich kein Unglück; denn du bist bei mir, dein Stecken und dein Stab trösten mich.(dhs) Psa 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me(nkjv) ======= Psalm 23:5 ============ Psa 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows.(nas) Psa 23:5 ἡτοίμασας ἐνώπιόν μου τράπεζαν ἐξ ἐναντίας τῶν θλιβόντων με ἐλίπανας ἐν ἐλαίῳ τὴν κεφαλήν μου καὶ τὸ ποτήριόν σου μεθύσκον ὡς κράτιστον (lxx) Psa 23:5 [Vulgate 22:5] pones coram me mensam ex adverso hostium meorum inpinguasti oleo caput meum calix meus inebrians(vulgate) 5 ׃23 תַּעֲרֹ֬ךְ לְפָנַ֨י ׀ שֻׁלְחָ֗ן נֶ֥גֶד צֹרְרָ֑י דִּשַּׁ֖נְתָּ בַשֶּׁ֥מֶן רֹ֝אשִׁ֗י כּוֹסִ֥י רְוָיָֽה׃ Psalms Psa 23:5 Du bereitest vor mir einen Tisch im Angesicht meiner Feinde. Du salbest mein Haupt mit Öl und schenkest mir voll ein.(dhs) Psa 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 23:6 ============ Psa 23:6 Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.(nas) Psa 23:6 καὶ τὸ ἔλεός σου καταδιώξεταί με πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τῆς ζωῆς μου καὶ τὸ κατοικεῖν με ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου εἰς μακρότητα ἡμερῶν (lxx) Psa 23:6 [Vulgate 22:6] sed et benignitas et misericordia subsequetur me omnibus diebus vitae meae et habitabo in domo Domini in longitudine dierum(vulgate) 6 ׃23 אַ֤ךְ ׀ ט֤וֹב וָחֶ֣סֶד יִ֭רְדְּפוּנִי כָּל־יְמֵ֣י חַיָּ֑י וְשַׁבְתִּ֥י בְּבֵית־יְ֝הוָ֗ה לְאֹ֣רֶךְ יָמִֽים׃ Psalms Psa 23:6 Gutes und Barmherzigkeit werden mir folgen mein Leben lang, und ich werde bleiben im Hause des HERRN immerdar.(dhs) Psa 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 24:1 ============ top of the page
