Nach dir, HERR, verlangt mich.(dhs) Psa 25:1 A Psalm of David. To You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 25:2 ============ Psa 25:2 O my God, in You I trust, Do not let me be ashamed; Do not let my enemies exult over me.(nas) Psa 25:2 ἐπὶ σοὶ πέποιθα μὴ καταισχυνθείην μηδὲ καταγελασάτωσάν μου οἱ ἐχθροί μου (lxx) Psa 25:2 [Vulgate 24:2] Deus meus in te confisus sum ne confundar(vulgate) 2 ׃25 אֱֽלֹהַ֗י בְּךָ֣ בָ֭טַחְתִּי אַל־אֵב֑וֹשָׁה אַל־יַֽעַלְצ֖וּ אֹיְבַ֣י לִֽי׃ Psalms Psa 25:2 Mein Gott, ich hoffe auf dich; laß mich nicht zu Schanden werden, daß sich meine Feinde nicht freuen über mich.(dhs) Psa 25:2 O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 25:3 ============ Psa 25:3 Indeed, none of those who wait for You will be ashamed; Those who deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed.(nas) Psa 25:3 καὶ γὰρ πάντες οἱ ὑπομένοντές σε οὐ μὴ καταισχυνθῶσιν αἰσχυνθήτωσαν πάντες οἱ ἀνομοῦντες διὰ κενῆς (lxx) Psa 25:3 [Vulgate 24:3] ne laetentur inimici mei sed et universi qui sperant in te non confundantur(vulgate) 3 ׃25 גַּ֣ם כָּל־ק֭וֹיֶ[t]ךָ לֹ֣א יֵבֹ֑שׁוּ יֵ֝בֹ֗שׁוּ הַבּוֹגְדִ֥ים רֵיקָֽם׃ Psalms Psa 25:3 Denn keiner wird zu Schanden, der dein harret; aber zu Schanden müssen sie werden, die leichtfertigen Verächter.(dhs) Psa 25:3 Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 25:4 ============ Psa 25:4 Make me know Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths.(nas) Psa 25:4 τὰς ὁδούς σου κύριε γνώρισόν μοι καὶ τὰς τρίβους σου δίδαξόν με (lxx) Psa 25:4 [Vulgate 24:4] confundantur qui iniqua gerunt frustra vias tuas Domine ostende mihi semitas tuas doce me(vulgate) 4 ׃25 דְּרָכֶ֣יךָ יְ֭הוָה הוֹדִיעֵ֑נִי אֹ֖רְחוֹתֶ֣יךָ לַמְּדֵֽנִי׃ Psalms Psa 25:4 HERR, zeige mir deine Wege und lehre mich deine Steige;(dhs) Psa 25:4 Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 25:5 ============ Psa 25:5 Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day.(nas) Psa 25:5 ὁδήγησόν με ἐπὶ τὴν ἀλήθειάν σου καὶ δίδαξόν με ὅτι σὺ εἶ ὁ θεὸς ὁ σωτήρ μου καὶ σὲ ὑπέμεινα ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν (lxx) Psa 25:5 [Vulgate 24:5] deduc me in veritate tua et doce me quia tu Deus salvator meus te expectavi tota die(vulgate) 5 ׃25 הַדְרִ֘יכֵ֤נִי בַאֲמִתֶּ֨ךָ ׀ וְֽלַמְּדֵ֗נִי כִּֽי־אַ֭תָּה אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׁעִ֑י אוֹתְךָ֥ קִ֝וִּ֗יתִי כָּל־הַיּֽוֹם׃ Psalms Psa 25:5 leite mich in deiner Wahrheit und lehre mich! Denn du bist der Gott, der mir hilft; täglich harre ich dein.(dhs) Psa 25:5 Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 25:6 ============ Psa 25:6 Remember, O Lord, Your compassion and Your lovingkindnesses, For they have been from of old.(nas) Psa 25:6 μνήσθητι τῶν οἰκτιρμῶν σου κύριε καὶ τὰ ἐλέη σου ὅτι ἀπὸ τοῦ αἰῶνός εἰσιν (lxx) Psa 25:6 [Vulgate 24:6] recordare miserationum tuarum Domine et misericordiarum tuarum quia ex sempiterno sunt(vulgate) 6 ׃25 זְכֹר־רַחֲמֶ֣יךָ יְ֭הוָה וַחֲסָדֶ֑יךָ כִּ֖י מֵעוֹלָ֣ם הֵֽמָּה׃ Psalms Psa 25:6 Gedenke, HERR, an deine Barmherzigkeit und an deine Güte, die von der Welt her gewesen ist.(dhs) Psa 25:6 Remember, O Lord, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses, For they are from of old.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 25:7 ============ Psa 25:7 Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions; According to Your lovingkindness remember me, For Your goodness' sake, O Lord.(nas) Psa 25:7 ἁμαρτίας νεότητός μου καὶ ἀγνοίας μου μὴ μνησθῇς κατὰ τὸ ἔλεός σου μνήσθητί μου σὺ ἕνεκα τῆς χρηστότητός σου κύριε (lxx) Psa 25:7 [Vulgate 24:7] peccatorum adulescentiae meae et scelerum meorum ne memineris secundum misericordiam tuam recordare mei propter bonitatem tuam Domine(vulgate) 7 ׃25 חַטֹּ֤אות נְעוּרַ֨י ׀ וּפְשָׁעַ֗י אַל־תִּ֫זְכֹּ֥ר כְּחַסְדְּךָ֥ זְכָר־לִי־אַ֑תָּה לְמַ֖עַן טוּבְךָ֣ יְהוָֽה׃ Psalms Psa 25:7 Gedenke nicht der Sünden meiner Jugend und meiner Übertretungen; gedenke aber mein nach deiner Barmherzigkeit um deiner Güte willen!(dhs) Psa 25:7 Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; According to Your mercy remember me, For Your goodness' sake, O Lord.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 25:8 ============ Psa 25:8 Good and upright is the Lord; Therefore He instructs sinners in the way.(nas) Psa 25:8 χρηστὸς καὶ εὐθὴς ὁ κύριος διὰ τοῦτο νομοθετήσει ἁμαρτάνοντας ἐν ὁδῷ (lxx) Psa 25:8 [Vulgate 24:8] bonus et rectus Dominus propterea docebit peccatores in via(vulgate) 8 ׃25 טוֹב־וְיָשָׁ֥ר יְהוָ֑ה עַל־כֵּ֤ן יוֹרֶ֖ה חַטָּאִ֣ים בַּדָּֽרֶךְ׃ Psalms Psa 25:8 Der HERR ist gut und fromm; darum unterweist er die Sünder auf dem Wege.(dhs) Psa 25:8 Good and upright is the Lord; Therefore He teaches sinners in the way.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 25:9 ============ Psa 25:9 He leads the humble in justice, And He teaches the humble His way.(nas) Psa 25:9 ὁδηγήσει πραεῖς ἐν κρίσει διδάξει πραεῖς ὁδοὺς αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 25:9 [Vulgate 24:9] deducet mansuetos in iudicio et docebit modestos viam suam(vulgate) 9 ׃25 יַדְרֵ֣ךְ עֲ֭נָוִים בַּמִּשְׁפָּ֑ט וִֽילַמֵּ֖ד עֲנָוִ֣ים דַּרְכּֽוֹ׃ Psalms Psa 25:9 Er leitet die Elenden recht und lehrt die Elenden seinen Weg.(dhs) Psa 25:9 The humble He guides in justice, And the humble He teaches His way.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 25:10 ============ Psa 25:10 All the paths of the Lord are lovingkindness and truth To those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.(nas) Psa 25:10 πᾶσαι αἱ ὁδοὶ κυρίου ἔλεος καὶ ἀλήθεια τοῖς ἐκζητοῦσιν τὴν διαθήκην αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ μαρτύρια αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 25:10 [Vulgate 24:10] omnes semitae Domini misericordia et veritas his qui custodiunt pactum eius et testificationem eius(vulgate) 10 ׃25 כָּל־אָרְח֣וֹת יְ֭הוָה חֶ֣סֶד וֶאֱמֶ֑ת לְנֹצְרֵ֥י בְ֝רִית֗וֹ וְעֵדֹתָֽיו׃ Psalms Psa 25:10 Die Wege des HERRN sind eitel Güte und Wahrheit denen, die seinen Bund und seine Zeugnisse halten.(dhs) Psa 25:10 All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth, To such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 25:11 ============ Psa 25:11 For Your name's sake, O Lord, Pardon my iniquity, for it is great.(nas) Psa 25:11 ἕνεκα τοῦ ὀνόματός σου κύριε καὶ ἱλάσῃ τῇ ἁμαρτίᾳ μου πολλὴ γάρ ἐστιν (lxx) Psa 25:11 [Vulgate 24:11] propter nomen tuum propitiare iniquitati meae quoniam grandis est(vulgate) 11 ׃25 לְמַֽעַן־שִׁמְךָ֥ יְהוָ֑ה וְֽסָלַחְתָּ֥ לַ֝עֲוֺנִ֗י כִּ֣י רַב־הֽוּא׃ Psalms Psa 25:11 Um deines Namens willen, HERR, sei gnädig meiner Missetat, die da groß ist.(dhs) Psa 25:11 For Your name's sake, O Lord, Pardon my iniquity, for it is great.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 25:12 ============ Psa 25:12 Who is the man who fears the Lord? He will instruct him in the way he should choose.(nas) Psa 25:12 τίς ἐστιν ἄνθρωπος ὁ φοβούμενος τὸν κύριον νομοθετήσει αὐτῷ ἐν ὁδῷ ᾗ ᾑρετίσατο (lxx) Psa 25:12 [Vulgate 24:12] quis est iste vir timens Dominum quem docebit in via quam elegerit(vulgate) 12 ׃25 מִי־זֶ֣ה הָ֭אִישׁ יְרֵ֣א יְהוָ֑ה י֝וֹרֶ֗נּוּ בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ יִבְחָֽר׃ Psalms Psa 25:12 Wer ist der, der den HERRN fürchtet? Er wird ihn unterweisen den besten Weg.(dhs) Psa 25:12 Who is the man that fears the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 25:13 ============ Psa 25:13 His soul will abide in prosperity, And his descendants will inherit the land.(nas) Psa 25:13 ἡ ψυχὴ αὐτοῦ ἐν ἀγαθοῖς αὐλισθήσεται καὶ τὸ σπέρμα αὐτοῦ κληρονομήσει γῆν (lxx) Psa 25:13 [Vulgate 24:13] anima eius in bono commorabitur et semen eius hereditabit terram(vulgate) 13 ׃25 נַ֭פְשׁוֹ בְּט֣וֹב תָּלִ֑ין וְ֝זַרְע֗וֹ יִ֣ירַשׁ אָֽרֶץ׃ Psalms Psa 25:13 Seine Seele wird im Guten wohnen, und sein Same wird das Land besitzen.(dhs) Psa 25:13 He himself shall dwell in prosperity, And his descendants shall inherit the earth.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 25:14 ============ Psa 25:14 The secret of the Lord is for those who fear Him, And He will make them know His covenant.(nas) Psa 25:14 κραταίωμα κύριος τῶν φοβουμένων αὐτόν καὶ τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου τῶν φοβουμένων αὐτόν καὶ ἡ διαθήκη αὐτοῦ τοῦ δηλῶσαι αὐτοῖς (lxx) Psa 25:14 [Vulgate 24:14] secretum Domini timentibus eum et pactum suum ostendet eis(vulgate) 14 ׃25 ס֣וֹד יְ֭הוָה לִירֵאָ֑יו וּ֝בְרִית֗וֹ לְהוֹדִיעָֽם׃ Psalms Psa 25:14 Das Geheimnis des HERRN ist unter denen, die ihn fürchten; und seinen Bund läßt er sie wissen.(dhs) Psa 25:14 The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 25:15 ============ Psa 25:15 My eyes are continually toward the Lord, For He will pluck my feet out of the net.(nas) Psa 25:15 οἱ ὀφθαλμοί μου διὰ παντὸς πρὸς τὸν κύριον ὅτι αὐτὸς ἐκσπάσει ἐκ παγίδος τοὺς πόδας μου (lxx) Psa 25:15 [Vulgate 24:15] oculi mei semper ad Dominum quia ipse educet de rete pedes meos(vulgate) 15 ׃25 עֵינַ֣י תָּ֭מִיד אֶל־יְהוָ֑ה כִּ֤י הֽוּא־יוֹצִ֖יא מֵרֶ֣שֶׁת רַגְלָֽי׃ Psalms Psa 25:15 Meine Augen sehen stets zu dem HERRN; denn er wird meinen Fuß aus dem Netze ziehen.(dhs) Psa 25:15 My eyes are ever toward the Lord, For He shall pluck my feet out of the net.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 25:16 ============ Psa 25:16 Turn to me and be gracious to me, For I am lonely and afflicted.(nas) Psa 25:16 ἐπίβλεψον ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ καὶ ἐλέησόν με ὅτι μονογενὴς καὶ πτωχός εἰμι ἐγώ (lxx) Psa 25:16 [Vulgate 24:16] respice in me et miserere mei quoniam solus et pauper sum ego(vulgate) 16 ׃25 פְּנֵה־אֵלַ֥י וְחָנֵּ֑נִי כִּֽי־יָחִ֖יד וְעָנִ֣י אָֽנִי׃ Psalms Psa 25:16 Wende dich zu mir und sei mir gnädig; denn ich bin einsam und elend.(dhs) Psa 25:16 Turn Yourself to me, and have mercy on me, For I am desolate and afflicted.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 25:17 ============ Psa 25:17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged; And they hate me with cruel hatred.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 25:20 ============ Psa 25:20 Guard my soul and deliver me; Do not let me be ashamed, for I take refuge in You.(nas) Psa 25:20 φύλαξον τὴν ψυχήν μου καὶ ῥῦσαί με μὴ καταισχυνθείην ὅτι ἤλπισα ἐπὶ σέ (lxx) Psa 25:20 [Vulgate 24:20] custodi animam meam et libera me non confundar quia speravi in te(vulgate) 20 ׃25 שָׁמְרָ֣ה נַ֭פְשִׁי וְהַצִּילֵ֑נִי אַל־אֵ֝ב֗וֹשׁ כִּֽי־חָסִ֥יתִי בָֽךְ׃ Psalms Psa 25:20 Bewahre meine Seele und errette mich, laß mich nicht zu Schanden werden; denn ich traue auf dich.(dhs) Psa 25:20 Keep my soul, and deliver me; Let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 25:21 ============ Psa 25:21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, For I wait for You.(nas) Psa 25:21 ἄκακοι καὶ εὐθεῖς ἐκολλῶντό μοι ὅτι ὑπέμεινά σε κύριε (lxx) Psa 25:21 [Vulgate 24:21] simplicitas et aequitas servabunt me quia expectavi te(vulgate) 21 ׃25 תֹּם־וָיֹ֥שֶׁר יִצְּר֑וּנִי כִּ֝֗י קִוִּיתִֽיךָ׃ Psalms Psa 25:21 Schlecht und Recht, das behüte mich;
