The earth is the Lord's, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 24:2 ============ Psa 24:2 For He has founded it upon the seas And established it upon the rivers.(nas) Psa 24:2 αὐτὸς ἐπὶ θαλασσῶν ἐθεμελίωσεν αὐτὴν καὶ ἐπὶ ποταμῶν ἡτοίμασεν αὐτήν (lxx) Psa 24:2 [Vulgate 23:2] quia ipse super maria fundavit eum et super flumina stabilivit illum(vulgate) 2 ׃24 כִּי־ה֭וּא עַל־יַמִּ֣ים יְסָדָ֑הּ וְעַל־נְ֝הָר֗וֹת יְכוֹנְנֶֽהָ׃ Psalms Psa 24:2 Denn er hat ihn an die Meere gegründet und an den Wassern bereitet.(dhs) Psa 24:2 For He has founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the waters.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 24:3 ============ Psa 24:3 Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? And who may stand in His holy place?(nas) Psa 24:3 τίς ἀναβήσεται εἰς τὸ ὄρος τοῦ κυρίου καὶ τίς στήσεται ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 24:3 [Vulgate 23:3] quis ascendet in montem Domini et quis stabit in loco sancto eius(vulgate) 3 ׃24 מִֽי־יַעֲלֶ֥ה בְהַר־יְהוָ֑ה וּמִי־יָ֝קוּם בִּמְק֥וֹם קָדְשֽׁוֹ׃ Psalms Psa 24:3 Wer wird auf des HERRN Berg gehen, und wer wird stehen an seiner heiligen Stätte?(dhs) Psa 24:3 Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place?(nkjv) ======= Psalm 24:4 ============ Psa 24:4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood And has not sworn deceitfully.(nas) Psa 24:4 ἀθῷος χερσὶν καὶ καθαρὸς τῇ καρδίᾳ ὃς οὐκ ἔλαβεν ἐπὶ ματαίῳ τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ καὶ οὐκ ὤμοσεν ἐπὶ δόλῳ τῷ πλησίον αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 24:4 [Vulgate 23:4] innocens manibus et mundo corde qui non exaltavit frustra animam suam et non iuravit dolose(vulgate) 4 ׃24 נְקִ֥י כַפַּ֗יִם וּֽבַר־לֵ֫בָ֥ב אֲשֶׁ֤ר ׀ לֹא־נָשָׂ֣א לַשָּׁ֣וְא נַפְשִׁ֑י וְלֹ֖א נִשְׁבַּ֣ע לְמִרְמָֽה׃ Psalms Psa 24:4 Der unschuldige Hände hat und reines Herzens ist; der nicht Lust hat zu loser Lehre und schwört nicht fälschlich:(dhs) Psa 24:4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 24:5 ============ Psa 24:5 He shall receive a blessing from the Lord And righteousness from the God of his salvation.(nas) Psa 24:5 οὗτος λήμψεται εὐλογίαν παρὰ κυρίου καὶ ἐλεημοσύνην παρὰ θεοῦ σωτῆρος αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 24:5 [Vulgate 23:5] accipiet benedictionem a Domino et iustitiam a Deo salutari suo(vulgate) 5 ׃24 יִשָּׂ֣א בְ֭רָכָה מֵאֵ֣ת יְהוָ֑ה וּ֝צְדָקָ֗ה מֵאֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׁעֽוֹ׃ Psalms Psa 24:5 der wird den Segen vom HERRN empfangen und Gerechtigkeit von dem Gott seines Heils.(dhs) Psa 24:5 He shall receive blessing from the Lord, And righteousness from the God of his salvation.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 24:6 ============ Psa 24:6 This is the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face--even Jacob. Selah.(nas) Psa 24:6 αὕτη ἡ γενεὰ ζητούντων αὐτόν ζητούντων τὸ πρόσωπον τοῦ θεοῦ Ιακωβ διάψαλμα (lxx) Psa 24:6 [Vulgate 23:6] haec generatio quaerentium eum quaerentium faciem tuam Iacob semper(vulgate) 6 ׃24 זֶ֭ה דּ֣וֹר *דרשו **דֹּרְשָׁ֑יו מְבַקְשֵׁ֨י פָנֶ֖יךָ יַעֲקֹ֣ב סֶֽלָה׃ Psalms Psa 24:6 Das ist das Geschlecht, das nach ihm fragt, das da sucht dein Antlitz, Gott Jakobs. Selah(nkjv) ======= Psalm 24:7 ============ Psa 24:7 Lift up your heads, O gates, And be lifted up, O ancient doors, That the King of glory may come in!(nas) Psa 24:7 ἄρατε πύλας οἱ ἄρχοντες ὑμῶν καὶ ἐπάρθητε πύλαι αἰώνιοι καὶ εἰσελεύσεται ὁ βασιλεὺς τῆς δόξης (lxx) Psa 24:7 [Vulgate 23:7] levate portae capita vestra et elevamini ianuae sempiternae et ingrediatur rex gloriae(vulgate) 7 ׃24 שְׂא֤וּ שְׁעָרִ֨ים ׀ רָֽאשֵׁיכֶ֗ם וְֽ֭הִנָּשְׂאוּ פִּתְחֵ֣י עוֹלָ֑ם וְ֝יָב֗וֹא מֶ֣לֶךְ הַכָּבֽוֹד׃ Psalms Psa 24:7 Machet die Tore weit und die Türen in der Welt hoch, daß der König der Ehren einziehe!(dhs) Psa 24:7 Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 24:8 ============ Psa 24:8 Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle.(nas) Psa 24:8 τίς ἐστιν οὗτος ὁ βασιλεὺς τῆς δόξης κύριος κραταιὸς καὶ δυνατός κύριος δυνατὸς ἐν πολέμῳ (lxx) Psa 24:8 [Vulgate 23:8] quis est iste rex gloriae Dominus fortis et potens Dominus fortis in proelio(vulgate) 8 ׃24 מִ֥י זֶה֮ מֶ֤לֶךְ הַכָּ֫ב֥וֹד יְ֭הוָה עִזּ֣וּז וְגִבּ֑וֹר יְ֝הוָ֗ה גִּבּ֥וֹר מִלְחָמָֽה׃ Psalms Psa 24:8 Wer ist derselbe König der Ehren? Es ist der HERR, stark und mächtig, der HERR, mächtig im Streit.(dhs) Psa 24:8 Who is this King of glory?
