May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble; May the name of the God of Jacob defend you;(nkjv) ======= Psalm 20:2 ============ Psa 20:2 May He send you help from the sanctuary And support you from Zion!(nas) Psa 20:2 ἐπακούσαι σου κύριος ἐν ἡμέρᾳ θλίψεως ὑπερασπίσαι σου τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ θεοῦ Ιακωβ (lxx) Psa 20:2 [Vulgate 19:3] mittat tibi auxilium de sancto et de Sion roboret te(vulgate) 3 ׃20 יִשְׁלַֽח־עֶזְרְךָ֥ מִקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וּ֝מִצִיּ֗וֹן יִסְעָדֶֽךָּ׃ Psalms Psa 20:2 Er sende dir Hilfe vom Heiligtum und stärke dich aus Zion.(dhs) Psa 20:2 May He send you help from the sanctuary, And strengthen you out of Zion;(nkjv) ======= Psalm 20:3 ============ Psa 20:3 May He remember all your meal offerings And find your burnt offering acceptable! Selah.(nas) Psa 20:3 ἐξαποστείλαι σοι βοήθειαν ἐξ ἁγίου καὶ ἐκ Σιων ἀντιλάβοιτό σου (lxx) Psa 20:3 [Vulgate 19:4] memor sit omnis sacrificii tui et holocaustum tuum pingue fiat semper(vulgate) 4 ׃20 יִזְכֹּ֥ר כָּל־מִנְחֹתֶ֑ךָ וְעוֹלָתְךָ֖ יְדַשְּׁנֶ֣ה סֶֽלָה׃ Psalms Psa 20:3 Er gedenke all deines Speisopfers, und dein Brandopfer müsse vor ihm fett sein. (Sela.)(dhs) Psa 20:3 May He remember all your offerings, And accept your burnt sacrifice. Selah(nkjv) ======= Psalm 20:4 ============ Psa 20:4 May He grant you your heart's desire And fulfill all your counsel!(nas) Psa 20:4 μνησθείη πάσης θυσίας σου καὶ τὸ ὁλοκαύτωμά σου πιανάτω διάψαλμα (lxx) Psa 20:4 [Vulgate 19:5] det tibi secundum cor tuum et omnem voluntatem tuam impleat(vulgate) 5 ׃20 יִֽתֶּן־לְךָ֥ כִלְבָבֶ֑ךָ וְֽכָל־עֲצָתְךָ֥ יְמַלֵּֽא׃ Psalms Psa 20:4 Er gebe dir was dein Herz begehrt, und erfülle alle deine Anschläge.(dhs) Psa 20:4 May He grant you according to your heart's desire, And fulfill all your purpose.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 20:5 ============ Psa 20:5 We will sing for joy over your victory, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners. May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.(nas) Psa 20:5 δῴη σοι κατὰ τὴν καρδίαν σου καὶ πᾶσαν τὴν βουλήν σου πληρώσαι (lxx) Psa 20:5 [Vulgate 19:6] laudabimus in salutari tuo et in nomine Dei nostri ducemus choros(vulgate) 6 ׃20 נְרַנְּנָ֤ה ׀ בִּ֘ישׁ֤וּעָתֶ֗ךָ וּבְשֵֽׁם־אֱלֹהֵ֥ינוּ נִדְגֹּ֑ל יְמַלֵּ֥א יְ֝הוָ֗ה כָּל־מִשְׁאֲלוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ Psalms Psa 20:5 Wir rühmen, daß du uns hilfst, und im Namen unsres Gottes werfen wir Panier auf. Der HERR gewähre dir alle deine Bitten!(dhs) Psa 20:5 We will rejoice in your salvation, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 20:6 ============ Psa 20:6 Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven With the saving strength of His right hand.(nas) Psa 20:6 ἀγαλλιασόμεθα ἐν τῷ σωτηρίῳ σου καὶ ἐν ὀνόματι θεοῦ ἡμῶν μεγαλυνθησόμεθα πληρώσαι κύριος πάντα τὰ αἰτήματά σου (lxx) Psa 20:6 [Vulgate 19:7] impleat Dominus omnes petitiones tuas nunc scio quoniam salvabit Dominus christum suum exaudiet eum de caelo sancto suo in fortitudine salutis dexterae suae(vulgate) 7 ׃20 עַתָּ֤ה יָדַ֗עְתִּי כִּ֤י הוֹשִׁ֥יעַ ׀ יְהוָ֗ה מְשִׁ֫יח֥וֹ יַ֭עֲנֵהוּ מִשְּׁמֵ֣י קָדְשׁ֑וֹ בִּ֝גְבֻר֗וֹת יֵ֣שַׁע יְמִינֽוֹ׃ Psalms Psa 20:6 Nun merke ich, daß der HERR seinem Gesalbten hilft und erhöht ihn in seinen heiligen Himmel; seine rechte Hand hilft mit Macht.(dhs) Psa 20:6 Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven With the saving strength of His right hand.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 20:7 ============ Psa 20:7 Some boast in chariots and some in horses, But we will boast in the name of the Lord, our God.(nas) Psa 20:7 νῦν ἔγνων ὅτι ἔσωσεν κύριος τὸν χριστὸν αὐτοῦ ἐπακούσεται αὐτοῦ ἐξ οὐρανοῦ ἁγίου αὐτοῦ ἐν δυναστείαις ἡ σωτηρία τῆς δεξιᾶς αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 20:7 [Vulgate 19:8] hii in curribus et hii in equis nos autem nominis Domini Dei nostri recordabimur(vulgate) 8 ׃20 אֵ֣לֶּה בָ֭רֶכֶב וְאֵ֣לֶּה בַסּוּסִ֑ים וַאֲנַ֓חְנוּ ׀ בְּשֵׁם־יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֣ינוּ נַזְכִּֽיר׃ Psalms Psa 20:7 Jene verlassen sich auf Wagen und Rosse; wir aber denken an den Namen des HERRN, unsers Gottes.(dhs) Psa 20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 20:8 ============ Psa 20:8 They have bowed down and fallen, But we have risen and stood upright.(nas) Psa 20:8 οὗτοι ἐν ἅρμασιν καὶ οὗτοι ἐν ἵπποις ἡμεῖς δὲ ἐν ὀνόματι κυρίου θεοῦ ἡμῶν μεγαλυνθησόμεθα (lxx) Psa 20:8 [Vulgate 19:9] ipsi incurvati sunt et ceciderunt nos autem resurreximus et erecti sumus(vulgate) 9 ׃20 הֵ֭מָּה כָּרְע֣וּ וְנָפָ֑לוּ וַאֲנַ֥חְנוּ קַּ֝֗מְנוּ וַנִּתְעוֹדָֽד׃ Psalms Psa 20:8 Sie sind niedergestürzt und gefallen; wir aber stehen aufgerichtet.(dhs) Psa 20:8 They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 20:9 ============ Psa 20:9 Save, O Lord; May the King answer us in the day we call.(nas) Psa 20:9 κύριε σῶσον τὸν βασιλέα σου καὶ ἐπάκουσον ἡμῶν ἐν ᾗ ἂν ἡμέρᾳ ἐπικαλεσώμεθά σε (lxx) Psa 20:9 [Vulgate 19:10] Domine salva rex exaudiet nos in die qua invocaverimus(vulgate) 10 ׃20 יְהוָ֥ה הוֹשִׁ֑יעָה הַ֝מֶּ֗לֶךְ יַעֲנֵ֥נוּ בְיוֹם־קָרְאֵֽנוּ׃ Psalms Psa 20:9 Hilf, HERR, dem König und erhöre uns wenn wir rufen!(dhs) Psa 20:9 Save, Lord!
