Today's Date: 4/9/2025 ======= Psalm 26:1 ============ Psa 26:1 Vindicate me, O Lord, for I have walked in my integrity, And I have trusted in the Lord without wavering.(nas) Psa 26:1 τοῦ Δαυιδ κρῖνόν με κύριε ὅτι ἐγὼ ἐν ἀκακίᾳ μου ἐπορεύθην καὶ ἐπὶ τῷ κυρίῳ ἐλπίζων οὐ μὴ ἀσθενήσω (lxx) Psa 26:1 [Vulgate 25:1] David iudica me Deus quoniam ego in simplicitate mea ambulavi et in Domino confidens non deficiam(vulgate) 1 ׃26 לְדָוִ֨ד ׀ שָׁפְטֵ֤נִי יְהוָ֗ה כִּֽי־אֲ֭נִי בְּתֻמִּ֣י הָלַ֑כְתִּי וּבַיהוָ֥ה בָּ֝טַ֗חְתִּי לֹ֣א אֶמְעָֽד׃ Psalms Psa 26:1 (Ein Psa lm Davids.) HERR, schaffe mir Recht; denn ich bin unschuldig! Ich hoffe auf den HERRN; darum werde ich nicht fallen.(dhs) Psa 26:1 A Psalm of David. Vindicate me, O Lord, For I have walked in my integrity. I have also trusted in the Lord; I shall not slip.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 26:2 ============ Psa 26:2 Examine me, O Lord, and try me; Test my mind and my heart.(nas) Psa 26:2 δοκίμασόν με κύριε καὶ πείρασόν με πύρωσον τοὺς νεφρούς μου καὶ τὴν καρδίαν μου (lxx) Psa 26:2 [Vulgate 25:2] proba me Domine et tempta me ure renes meos et cor meum(vulgate) 2 ׃26 בְּחָנֵ֣נִי יְהוָ֣ה וְנַסֵּ֑נִי *צרופה **צָרְפָ֖ה כִלְיוֹתַ֣י וְלִבִּֽי׃ Psalms Psa 26:2 Prüfe mich, HERR, und versuche mich; läutere meine Nieren und mein Herz.(dhs) Psa 26:2 Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; Try my mind and my heart.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 26:3 ============ Psa 26:3 For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes, And I have walked in Your truth.(nas) Psa 26:3 ὅτι τὸ ἔλεός σου κατέναντι τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν μού ἐστιν καὶ εὐηρέστησα ἐν τῇ ἀληθείᾳ σου (lxx) Psa 26:3 [Vulgate 25:3] quia misericordia tua in conspectu oculorum meorum est et ambulabo in veritate tua(vulgate) 3 ׃26 כִּֽי־חַ֭סְדְּךָ לְנֶ֣גֶד עֵינָ֑י וְ֝הִתְהַלַּ֗כְתִּי בַּאֲמִתֶּֽךָ׃ Psalms Psa 26:3 Denn deine Güte ist vor meinen Augen, und ich wandle in deiner Wahrheit.(dhs) Psa 26:3 For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes, And I have walked in Your truth.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 26:4 ============ Psa 26:4 I do not sit with deceitful men, Nor will I go with pretenders.(nas) Psa 26:4 οὐκ ἐκάθισα μετὰ συνεδρίου ματαιότητος καὶ μετὰ παρανομούντων οὐ μὴ εἰσέλθω (lxx) Psa 26:4 [Vulgate 25:4] non sedi cum viris vanitatis et cum superbis non ingrediar(vulgate) 4 ׃26 לֹא־יָ֭שַׁבְתִּי עִם־מְתֵי־שָׁ֑וא וְעִ֥ם נַ֝עֲלָמִ֗ים לֹ֣א אָבֽוֹא׃ Psalms Psa 26:4 Ich sitze nicht bei den eitlen Leuten und habe nicht Gemeinschaft mit den Falschen.(dhs) Psa 26:4 I have not sat with idolatrous mortals, Nor will I go in with hypocrites.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 26:5 ============ Psa 26:5 I hate the assembly of evildoers, And I will not sit with the wicked.(nas) Psa 26:5 ἐμίσησα ἐκκλησίαν πονηρευομένων καὶ μετὰ ἀσεβῶν οὐ μὴ καθίσω (lxx) Psa 26:5 [Vulgate 25:5] odivi ecclesiam pessimorum et cum iniquis non sedebo(vulgate) 5 ׃26 שָׂ֭נֵאתִי קְהַ֣ל מְרֵעִ֑ים וְעִם־רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים לֹ֣א אֵשֵֽׁב׃ Psalms Psa 26:5 Ich hasse die Versammlung der Boshaften und sitze nicht bei den Gottlosen.(dhs) Psa 26:5 I have hated the assembly of evildoers, And will not sit with the wicked.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 26:6 ============ Psa 26:6 I shall wash my hands in innocence, And I will go about Your altar, O Lord,(nas) Psa 26:6 νίψομαι ἐν ἀθῴοις τὰς χεῖράς μου καὶ κυκλώσω τὸ θυσιαστήριόν σου κύριε (lxx) Psa 26:6 [Vulgate 25:6] lavabo in innocentia manus meas et circuibo altare tuum Domine(vulgate) 6 ׃26 אֶרְחַ֣ץ בְּנִקָּי֣וֹן כַּפָּ֑י וַאֲסֹבְבָ֖ה אֶת־מִזְבַּחֲךָ֣ יְהוָֽה׃ Psalms Psa 26:6 Ich wasche meine Hände in Unschuld und halte mich, HERR, zu deinem Altar,(dhs) Psa 26:6 I will wash my hands in innocence; So I will go about Your altar, O Lord,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 26:7 ============ Psa 26:7 That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving And declare all Your wonders.(nas) Psa 26:7 τοῦ ἀκοῦσαι φωνὴν αἰνέσεως καὶ διηγήσασθαι πάντα τὰ θαυμάσιά σου (lxx) Psa 26:7 [Vulgate 25:7] ut clara voce praedicem laudem et narrem omnia mirabilia tua(vulgate) 7 ׃26 לַ֭שְׁמִעַ בְּק֣וֹל תּוֹדָ֑ה וּ֝לְסַפֵּ֗ר כָּל־נִפְלְאוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ Psalms Psa 26:7 da man hört die Stimme des Dankens, und da man predigt alle deine Wunder.(dhs) Psa 26:7 That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving, And tell of all Your wondrous works.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 26:8 ============ Psa 26:8 O Lord, I love the habitation of Your house And the place where Your glory dwells.(nas) Psa 26:8 κύριε ἠγάπησα εὐπρέπειαν οἴκου σου καὶ τόπον σκηνώματος δόξης σου (lxx) Psa 26:8 [Vulgate 25:8] Domine dilexi habitaculum domus tuae et locum tabernaculi gloriae tuae(vulgate) 8 ׃26 יְֽהוָ֗ה אָ֭הַבְתִּי מְע֣וֹן בֵּיתֶ֑ךָ וּ֝מְק֗וֹם מִשְׁכַּ֥ן כְּבוֹדֶֽךָ׃ Psalms Psa 26:8 HERR, ich habe lieb die Stätte deines Hauses und den Ort, da deine Ehre wohnt.(dhs) Psa 26:8 Lord, I have loved the habitation of Your house, And the place where Your glory dwells.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 26:9 ============ Psa 26:9 Do not take my soul away along with sinners, Nor my life with men of bloodshed,(nas) Psa 26:9 μὴ συναπολέσῃς μετὰ ἀσεβῶν τὴν ψυχήν μου καὶ μετὰ ἀνδρῶν αἱμάτων τὴν ζωήν μου (lxx) Psa 26:9 [Vulgate 25:9] ne auferas cum peccatoribus animam meam cum viris sanguinum vitam meam(vulgate) 9 ׃26 אַל־תֶּאֱסֹ֣ף עִם־חַטָּאִ֣ים נַפְשִׁ֑י וְעִם־אַנְשֵׁ֖י דָמִ֣ים חַיָּֽי׃ Psalms Psa 26:9 Raffe meine Seele nicht hin mit den Sündern noch mein Leben mit den Blutdürstigen,(dhs) Psa 26:9 Do not gather my soul with sinners, Nor my life with bloodthirsty men,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 26:10 ============ Psa 26:10 In whose hands is a wicked scheme, And whose right hand is full of bribes.(nas) Psa 26:10 ὧν ἐν χερσὶν ἀνομίαι ἡ δεξιὰ αὐτῶν ἐπλήσθη δώρων (lxx) Psa 26:10 [Vulgate 25:10] in quorum manibus scelus est et dextera eorum repleta est muneribus(vulgate) 10 ׃26 אֲשֶׁר־בִּידֵיהֶ֥ם זִמָּ֑ה וִֽ֝ימִינָ֗ם מָ֣לְאָה שֹּֽׁחַד׃ Psalms Psa 26:10 welche mit böser Tücke umgehen und nehmen gern Geschenke.(dhs) Psa 26:10 In whose hands is a sinister scheme, And whose right hand is full of bribes.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 26:11 ============ Psa 26:11 But as for me, I shall walk in my integrity; Redeem me, and be gracious to me.(nas) Psa 26:11 ἐγὼ δὲ ἐν ἀκακίᾳ μου ἐπορεύθην λύτρωσαί με καὶ ἐλέησόν με (lxx) Psa 26:11 [Vulgate 25:11] ego autem in simplicitate mea gradiar redime me et miserere mei(vulgate) 11 ׃26 וַ֭אֲנִי בְּתֻמִּ֥י אֵלֵ֗ךְ פְּדֵ֣נִי וְחָנֵּֽנִי׃ Psalms Psa 26:11 Ich aber wandle unschuldig. Erlöse mich und sei mir gnädig!(dhs) Psa 26:11 But as for me, I will walk in my integrity; Redeem me and be merciful to me.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 26:12 ============ Psa 26:12 My foot stands on a level place; In the congregations I shall bless the Lord.(nas) Psa 26:12 ὁ γὰρ πούς μου ἔστη ἐν εὐθύτητι ἐν ἐκκλησίαις εὐλογήσω σε κύριε (lxx) Psa 26:12 [Vulgate 25:12] pes meus stetit in recto in ecclesiis benedicam Domino(vulgate) 12 ׃26 רַ֭גְלִי עָֽמְדָ֣ה בְמִישׁ֑וֹר בְּ֝מַקְהֵלִ֗ים אֲבָרֵ֥ךְ יְהוָֽה׃ Psalms Psa 26:12 Mein Fuß geht richtig.
