Neither do I concern myself with great matters, Nor with things too profound for me.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 131:2 ============ Psa 131:2 Surely I have composed and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child rests against his mother, My soul is like a weaned child within me.(nas) Psa 131:2 εἰ μὴ ἐταπεινοφρόνουν ἀλλὰ ὕψωσα τὴν ψυχήν μου ὡς τὸ ἀπογεγαλακτισμένον ἐπὶ τὴν μητέρα αὐτοῦ ὡς ἀνταπόδοσις ἐπὶ τὴν ψυχήν μου (lxx) Psa 131:2 [Vulgate 130:2] si non proposui et silere feci animam meam sicut ablactatus ad matrem suam ita ablactata ad me anima mea(vulgate) 2 ׃131 אִם־לֹ֤א שִׁוִּ֨יתִי ׀ וְדוֹמַ֗מְתִּי נַ֫פְשִׁ֥י כְּ֭גָמֻל עֲלֵ֣י אִמּ֑וֹ כַּגָּמֻ֖ל עָלַ֣י נַפְשִֽׁי׃ Psalms Psa 131:2 Ja, ich habe meine Seele gesetzt und gestillt; so ist meine Seele in mir wie ein entwöhntes Kind bei seiner Mutter.(dhs) Psa 131:2 Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, Like a weaned child with his mother; Like a weaned child is my soul within me.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 131:3 ============ Psa 131:3 O Israel, hope in the Lord From this time forth and forever.(nas) Psa 131:3 ἐλπισάτω Ισραηλ ἐπὶ τὸν κύριον ἀπὸ τοῦ νῦν καὶ ἕως τοῦ αἰῶνος (lxx) Psa 131:3 [Vulgate 130:3] expecta Israhel Dominum amodo et usque in aeternum(vulgate) 3 ׃131 יַחֵ֣ל יִ֭שְׂרָאֵל אֶל־יְהוָ֑ה מֵֽ֝עַתָּ֗ה וְעַד־עוֹלָֽם׃ Psalms Psa 131:3 Israel, hoffe auf den HERRN von nun an bis in Ewigkeit!(dhs) Psa 131:3 O Israel, hope in the Lord From this time forth and forever.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 132:1 ============ top of the page
