Lord, remember David And all his afflictions;(nkjv) ======= Psalm 132:2 ============ Psa 132:2 How he swore to the Lord And vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob,(nas) Psa 132:2 ὡς ὤμοσεν τῷ κυρίῳ ηὔξατο τῷ θεῷ Ιακωβ (lxx) Psa 132:2 [Vulgate 131:2] qui iuravit Domino votum vovit Deo Iacob(vulgate) 2 ׃132 אֲשֶׁ֣ר נִ֭שְׁבַּע לַיהוָ֑ה נָ֝דַ֗ר לַאֲבִ֥יר יַעֲקֹֽב׃ Psalms Psa 132:2 der dem HERRN schwur und gelobte dem Mächtigen Jakobs:(dhs) Psa 132:2 How he swore to the Lord, And vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:(nkjv) ======= Psalm 132:3 ============ Psa 132:3 "Surely I will not enter my house, Nor lie on my bed;(nas) Psa 132:3 εἰ εἰσελεύσομαι εἰς σκήνωμα οἴκου μου εἰ ἀναβήσομαι ἐπὶ κλίνης στρωμνῆς μου (lxx) Psa 132:3 [Vulgate 131:3] si intravero in tabernaculum domus meae si adsedero super lectum straminis mei(vulgate) 3 ׃132 אִם־אָ֭בֹא בְּאֹ֣הֶל בֵּיתִ֑י אִם־אֶ֝עֱלֶ֗ה עַל־עֶ֥רֶשׂ יְצוּעָֽי׃ Psalms Psa 132:3 "Ich will nicht in die Hütte meines Hauses gehen noch mich aufs Lager meines Bettes legen,(dhs) Psa 132:3 "Surely I will not go into the chamber of my house, Or go up to the comfort of my bed;(nkjv) ======= Psalm 132:4 ============ Psa 132:4 I will not give sleep to my eyes Or slumber to my eyelids,(nas) Psa 132:4 εἰ δώσω ὕπνον τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς μου καὶ τοῖς βλεφάροις μου νυσταγμὸν καὶ ἀνάπαυσιν τοῖς κροτάφοις μου (lxx) Psa 132:4 [Vulgate 131:4] si dedero somnum oculis meis et palpebris dormitationem(vulgate) 4 ׃132 אִם־אֶתֵּ֣ן שְׁנַ֣ת לְעֵינָ֑י לְֽעַפְעַפַּ֥י תְּנוּמָֽה׃ Psalms Psa 132:4 ich will meine Augen nicht schlafen lassen noch meine Augenlider schlummern,(dhs) Psa 132:4 I will not give sleep to my eyes Or slumber to my eyelids,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 132:5 ============ Psa 132:5 Until I find a place for the Lord, A dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob."(nas) Psa 132:5 ἕως οὗ εὕρω τόπον τῷ κυρίῳ σκήνωμα τῷ θεῷ Ιακωβ (lxx) Psa 132:5 [Vulgate 131:5] donec inveniam locum Domino tabernacula Deo Iacob(vulgate) 5 ׃132 עַד־אֶמְצָ֣א מָ֭קוֹם לַיהוָ֑ה מִ֝שְׁכָּנ֗וֹת לַאֲבִ֥יר יַעֲקֹֽב׃ Psalms Psa 132:5 bis ich eine Stätte finde für den HERRN, zur Wohnung des Mächtigen Jakobs."(dhs) Psa 132:5 Until I find a place for the Lord, A dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob."(nkjv) ======= Psalm 132:6 ============ Psa 132:6 Behold, we heard of it in Ephrathah, We found it in the field of Jaar.(nas) Psa 132:6 ἰδοὺ ἠκούσαμεν αὐτὴν ἐν Εφραθα εὕρομεν αὐτὴν ἐν τοῖς πεδίοις τοῦ δρυμοῦ (lxx) Psa 132:6 [Vulgate 131:6] ecce audivimus illum in Ephrata invenimus illum in regione saltus(vulgate) 6 ׃132 הִנֵּֽה־שְׁמַֽעֲנ֥וּהָ בְאֶפְרָ֑תָה מְ֝צָאנ֗וּהָ בִּשְׂדֵי־יָֽעַר׃ Psalms Psa 132:6 Siehe, wir hörten von ihr in Ephratha; wir haben sie gefunden auf dem Felde des Waldes.(dhs) Psa 132:6 Behold, we heard of it in Ephrathah; We found it in the fields of the woods.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 132:7 ============ Psa 132:7 Let us go into His dwelling place; Let us worship at His footstool.(nas) Psa 132:7 εἰσελευσόμεθα εἰς τὰ σκηνώματα αὐτοῦ προσκυνήσομεν εἰς τὸν τόπον οὗ ἔστησαν οἱ πόδες αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 132:7 [Vulgate 131:7] intremus in tabernacula eius adoremus scabillum pedum eius(vulgate) 7 ׃132 נָב֥וֹאָה לְמִשְׁכְּנוֹתָ֑יו נִ֝שְׁתַּחֲוֶ֗ה לַהֲדֹ֥ם רַגְלָֽיו׃ Psalms Psa 132:7 Wir wollen in seine Wohnung gehen und anbeten vor seinem Fußschemel.(dhs) Psa 132:7 Let us go into His tabernacle; Let us worship at His footstool.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 132:8 ============ Psa 132:8 Arise, O Lord, to Your resting place, You and the ark of Your strength.(nas) Psa 132:8 ἀνάστηθι κύριε εἰς τὴν ἀνάπαυσίν σου σὺ καὶ ἡ κιβωτὸς τοῦ ἁγιάσματός σου (lxx) Psa 132:8 [Vulgate 131:8] surge Domine in requiem tuam tu et arca fortitudinis tuae(vulgate) 8 ׃132 קוּמָ֣ה יְ֭הוָה לִמְנוּחָתֶ֑ךָ אַ֝תָּ֗ה וַאֲר֥וֹן עֻזֶּֽךָ׃ Psalms Psa 132:8 HERR, mache dich auf zu deiner Ruhe, du und die Lade deiner Macht!(dhs) Psa 132:8 Arise, O Lord, to Your resting place, You and the ark of Your strength.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 132:9 ============ Psa 132:9 Let Your priests be clothed with righteousness, And let Your godly ones sing for joy.(nas) Psa 132:9 οἱ ἱερεῖς σου ἐνδύσονται δικαιοσύνην καὶ οἱ ὅσιοί σου ἀγαλλιάσονται (lxx) Psa 132:9 [Vulgate 131:9] sacerdotes tui induantur iustitia et sancti tui laudent(vulgate) 9 ׃132 כֹּהֲנֶ֥יךָ יִלְבְּשׁוּ־צֶ֑דֶק וַחֲסִידֶ֥יךָ יְרַנֵּֽנוּ׃ Psalms Psa 132:9 Deine Priester laß sich kleiden mit Gerechtigkeit und deine Heiligen sich freuen.(dhs) Psa 132:9 Let Your priests be clothed with righteousness, And let Your saints shout for joy.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 132:10 ============ Psa 132:10 For the sake of David Your servant, Do not turn away the face of Your anointed.(nas) Psa 132:10 ἕνεκεν Δαυιδ τοῦ δούλου σου μὴ ἀποστρέψῃς τὸ πρόσωπον τοῦ χριστοῦ σου (lxx) Psa 132:10 [Vulgate 131:10] propter David servum tuum ne avertas faciem christi tui(vulgate) 10 ׃132 בַּ֭עֲבוּר דָּוִ֣ד עַבְדֶּ֑ךָ אַל־תָּ֝שֵׁ֗ב פְּנֵ֣י מְשִׁיחֶֽךָ׃ Psalms Psa 132:10 Wende nicht weg das Antlitz deines Gesalbten um deines Knechtes David willen.(dhs) Psa 132:10 For Your servant David's sake, Do not turn away the face of Your Anointed.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 132:11 ============ Psa 132:11 The Lord has sworn to David A truth from which He will not turn back: "Of the fruit of your body I will set upon your throne.(nas) Psa 132:11 ὤμοσεν κύριος τῷ Δαυιδ ἀλήθειαν καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀθετήσει αὐτήν ἐκ καρποῦ τῆς κοιλίας σου θήσομαι ἐπὶ τὸν θρόνον σου (lxx) Psa 132:11 [Vulgate 131:11] iuravit Dominus David veritatem non avertetur ab ea de fructu ventris tui ponam super sedem tuam(vulgate) 11 ׃132 נִשְׁבַּֽע־יְהוָ֨ה ׀ לְדָוִ֡ד אֱמֶת֮ לֹֽא־יָשׁ֢וּב מִ֫מֶּ֥נָּה מִפְּרִ֥י בִטְנְךָ֑ אָ֝שִׁ֗ית לְכִסֵּא־לָֽךְ׃ Psalms Psa 132:11 Der HERR hat David einen wahren Eid geschworen, davon wird er sich nicht wenden: "Ich will dir auf deinen Stuhl setzen die Frucht deines Leibes.(dhs) Psa 132:11 The Lord has sworn in truth to David; He will not turn from it: "I will set upon your throne the fruit of your body.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 132:12 ============ Psa 132:12 "If your sons will keep My covenant And My testimony which I will teach them, Their sons also shall sit upon your throne forever."(nas) Psa 132:12 ἐὰν φυλάξωνται οἱ υἱοί σου τὴν διαθήκην μου καὶ τὰ μαρτύριά μου ταῦτα ἃ διδάξω αὐτούς καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτῶν ἕως τοῦ αἰῶνος καθιοῦνται ἐπὶ τοῦ θρόνου σου (lxx) Psa 132:12 [Vulgate 131:12] si custodierint filii tui pactum meum et testificationem meam quam docuero eos et filii eorum usque in aeternum sedebunt super thronum tuum(vulgate) 12 ׃132 אִֽם־יִשְׁמְר֬וּ בָנֶ֨יךָ ׀ בְּרִיתִי֮ וְעֵדֹתִ֥י ז֗וֹ אֲלַ֫מְּדֵ֥ם גַּם־בְּנֵיהֶ֥ם עֲדֵי־עַ֑ד יֵ֝שְׁב֗וּ לְכִסֵּא־לָֽךְ׃ Psalms Psa 132:12 Werden deine Kinder meinen Bund halten und mein Zeugnis, das ich sie lehren werde, so sollen auch ihre Kinder auf deinem Stuhl sitzen ewiglich."(dhs) Psa 132:12 If your sons will keep My covenant And My testimony which I shall teach them, Their sons also shall sit upon your throne forevermore."(nkjv) ======= Psalm 132:13 ============ Psa 132:13 For the Lord has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His habitation.(nas) Psa 132:13 ὅτι ἐξελέξατο κύριος τὴν Σιων ᾑρετίσατο αὐτὴν εἰς κατοικίαν ἑαυτῷ (lxx) Psa 132:13 [Vulgate 131:13] quia elegit Dominus Sion desideravit eam in habitaculum suum(vulgate) 13 ׃132 כִּֽי־בָחַ֣ר יְהוָ֣ה בְּצִיּ֑וֹן אִ֝וָּ֗הּ לְמוֹשָׁ֥ב לֽוֹ׃ Psalms Psa 132:13 Denn der HERR hat Zion erwählt und hat Lust, daselbst zu wohnen.(dhs) Psa 132:13 For the Lord has chosen Zion; denn es gefällt mir wohl.(dhs) Psa 132:14 "This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 132:15 ============ Psa 132:15 "I will abundantly bless her provision; I will satisfy her needy with bread.(nas) Psa 132:15 τὴν θήραν αὐτῆς εὐλογῶν εὐλογήσω τοὺς πτωχοὺς αὐτῆς χορτάσω ἄρτων (lxx) Psa 132:15 [Vulgate 131:15] venationem eius benedicens benedicam pauperes eius saturabo pane(vulgate) 15 ׃132 צֵ֭ידָהּ בָּרֵ֣ךְ אֲבָרֵ֑ךְ אֶ֝בְיוֹנֶ֗יהָ אַשְׂבִּ֥יעַֽ לָֽחֶם׃ Psalms Psa 132:15 Ich will ihre Speise segnen und ihren Armen Brot genug geben.(dhs) Psa 132:15 I will abundantly bless her provision; I will satisfy her poor with bread.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 132:16 ============ Psa 132:16 "Her priests also I will clothe with salvation, And her godly ones will sing aloud for joy.(nas) Psa 132:16 τοὺς ἱερεῖς αὐτῆς ἐνδύσω σωτηρίαν καὶ οἱ ὅσιοι αὐτῆς ἀγαλλιάσει ἀγαλλιάσονται (lxx) Psa 132:16 [Vulgate 131:16] sacerdotes eius induam salutari et sancti eius laude laudabunt(vulgate) 16 ׃132 וְֽ֭כֹהֲנֶיהָ אַלְבִּ֣ישׁ יֶ֑שַׁע וַ֝חֲסִידֶ֗יהָ רַנֵּ֥ן יְרַנֵּֽנוּ׃ Psalms Psa 132:16 Ihre Priester will ich mit Heil kleiden, und ihre Heiligen sollen fröhlich sein.(dhs) Psa 132:16 I will also clothe her priests with salvation, And her saints shall shout aloud for joy.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 132:17 ============ Psa 132:17 "There I will cause the horn of David to spring forth; I have prepared a lamp for Mine anointed.(nas) Psa 132:17 ἐκεῖ ἐξανατελῶ κέρας τῷ Δαυιδ ἡτοίμασα λύχνον τῷ χριστῷ μου (lxx) Psa 132:17 [Vulgate 131:17] ibi oriri faciam cornu David paravi lucernam christo meo(vulgate) 17 ׃132 שָׁ֤ם אַצְמִ֣יחַ קֶ֣רֶן לְדָוִ֑ד עָרַ֥כְתִּי נֵ֝֗ר לִמְשִׁיחִֽי׃ Psalms Psa 132:17 Daselbst soll aufgehen das Horn Davids;
