Today's Date: ======= Psalm 142:1 ============ Psa 142:1 I cry aloud with my voice to the Lord; I make supplication with my voice to the Lord.(nas) Psa 142:1 συνέσεως τῷ Δαυιδ ἐν τῷ εἶναι αὐτὸν ἐν τῷ σπηλαίῳ προσευχή (lxx) Psa 142:1 [Vulgate 141:1] eruditio David cum esset in spelunca oratio [Vulgate 141:2] voce mea ad Dominum clamavi voce mea ad Dominum deprecatus sum(vulgate) 1 ׃142 מַשְׂכִּ֥יל לְדָוִ֑ד בִּהְיוֹת֖וֹ בַמְּעָרָ֣ה תְפִלָּֽה׃ 2 ׃142 ק֭וֹלִי אֶל־יְהוָ֣ה אֶזְעָ֑ק ק֝וֹלִ֗י אֶל־יְהוָ֥ה אֶתְחַנָּֽן׃ Psalms Psa 142:1 (Eine Unterweisung Davids, ein Gebet, da er in der Höhle war.) Ich schreie zum HERRN mit meiner Stimme; ich flehe zum HERRN mit meiner Stimme;(dhs) Psa 142:1 A Contemplation of David. A Prayer when he was in the cave. I cry out to the Lord with my voice; With my voice to the Lord I make my supplication.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 142:2 ============ Psa 142:2 I pour out my complaint before Him; I declare my trouble before Him.(nas) Psa 142:2 φωνῇ μου πρὸς κύριον ἐκέκραξα φωνῇ μου πρὸς κύριον ἐδεήθην (lxx) Psa 142:2 [Vulgate 141:3] effundam in conspectu eius eloquium meum tribulationem meam coram illo adnuntiabo(vulgate) 3 ׃142 אֶשְׁפֹּ֣ךְ לְפָנָ֣יו שִׂיחִ֑י צָ֝רָתִ֗י לְפָנָ֥יו אַגִּֽיד׃ Psalms Psa 142:2 ich schütte meine Rede vor ihm aus und zeige an vor ihm meine Not.(dhs) Psa 142:2 I pour out my complaint before Him; I declare before Him my trouble.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 142:3 ============ Psa 142:3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, You knew my path. In the way where I walk They have hidden a trap for me.(nas) Psa 142:3 ἐκχεῶ ἐναντίον αὐτοῦ τὴν δέησίν μου τὴν θλῖψίν μου ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ ἀπαγγελῶ (lxx) Psa 142:3 [Vulgate 141:4] cum anxius in me fuerit spiritus meus tu enim nosti semitam meam in via hac qua ambulabo absconderunt laqueum mihi(vulgate) 4 ׃142 בְּהִתְעַטֵּ֬ף עָלַ֨י ׀ רוּחִ֗י וְאַתָּה֮ יָדַ֢עְתָּ נְֽתִיבָ֫תִ֥י בְּאֹֽרַח־ז֥וּ אֲהַלֵּ֑ךְ טָמְנ֖וּ פַ֣ח לִֽי׃ Psalms Psa 142:3 Wenn mein Geist in Ängsten ist, so nimmst du dich meiner an. Sie legen mir Stricke auf dem Wege, darauf ich gehe.(dhs) Psa 142:3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, Then You knew my path. In the way in which I walk They have secretly set a snare for me.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 142:4 ============ Psa 142:4 Look to the right and see; For there is no one who regards me; There is no escape for me; No one cares for my soul.(nas) Psa 142:4 ἐν τῷ ἐκλείπειν ἐξ ἐμοῦ τὸ πνεῦμά μου καὶ σὺ ἔγνως τὰς τρίβους μου ἐν ὁδῷ ταύτῃ ᾗ ἐπορευόμην ἔκρυψαν παγίδα μοι (lxx) Psa 142:4 [Vulgate 141:5] respice ad dexteram et vide quia non sit qui cognoscat me periit fuga a me non est qui quaerat animam meam(vulgate) 5 ׃142 הַבֵּ֤יט יָמִ֨ין ׀ וּרְאֵה֮ וְאֵֽין־לִ֢י מַ֫כִּ֥יר אָבַ֣ד מָנ֣וֹס מִמֶּ֑נִּי אֵ֖ין דּוֹרֵ֣שׁ לְנַפְשִֽׁי׃ Psalms Psa 142:4 Schaue zur Rechten und siehe! da will mich niemand kennen. Ich kann nicht entfliehen; niemand nimmt sich meiner Seele an.(dhs) Psa 142:4 Look on my right hand and see, For there is no one who acknowledges me; Refuge has failed me; No one cares for my soul.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 142:5 ============ Psa 142:5 I cried out to You, O Lord; I said, "You are my refuge, My portion in the land of the living.(nas) Psa 142:5 κατενόουν εἰς τὰ δεξιὰ καὶ ἐπέβλεπον ὅτι οὐκ ἦν ὁ ἐπιγινώσκων με ἀπώλετο φυγὴ ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ὁ ἐκζητῶν τὴν ψυχήν μου (lxx) Psa 142:5 [Vulgate 141:6] clamavi ad te Domine dixi tu spes mea pars mea in terra viventium(vulgate) 6 ׃142 זָעַ֥קְתִּי אֵלֶ֗יךָ יְה֫וָ֥ה אָ֭מַרְתִּי אַתָּ֣ה מַחְסִ֑י חֶ֝לְקִ֗י בְּאֶ֣רֶץ הַֽחַיִּים׃ Psalms Psa 142:5 HERR, zu dir schreie ich und sage: Du bist meine Zuversicht, mein Teil im Lande der Lebendigen.(dhs) Psa 142:5 I cried out to You, O Lord: I said, "You are my refuge, My portion in the land of the living.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 142:6 ============ Psa 142:6 "Give heed to my cry, For I am brought very low; Deliver me from my persecutors, For they are too strong for me.(nas) Psa 142:6 ἐκέκραξα πρὸς σέ κύριε εἶπα σὺ εἶ ἡ ἐλπίς μου μερίς μου ἐν γῇ ζώντων (lxx) Psa 142:6 [Vulgate 141:7] ausculta deprecationem meam quoniam infirmatus sum nimis libera me a persecutoribus quoniam confortati sunt super me(vulgate) 7 ׃142 הַקְשִׁ֤יבָה ׀ אֶֽל־רִנָּתִי֮ כִּֽי־דַלּ֢וֹתִ֫י מְאֹ֥ד הַצִּילֵ֥נִי מֵרֹדְפַ֑י כִּ֖י אָמְצ֣וּ מִמֶּֽנִּי׃ Psalms Psa 142:6 Merke auf meine Klage, denn ich werde sehr geplagt; errette mich von meinen Verfolgern, denn sie sind mir zu mächtig.(dhs) Psa 142:6 Attend to my cry, For I am brought very low; Deliver me from my persecutors, For they are stronger than I.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 142:7 ============ Psa 142:7 "Bring my soul out of prison, So that I may give thanks to Your name; The righteous will surround me, For You will deal bountifully with me."(nas) Psa 142:7 ἐξάγαγε ἐκ φυλακῆς τὴν ψυχήν μου τοῦ ἐξομολογήσασθαι τῷ ὀνόματί σου κύριε ἐμὲ ὑπομενοῦσιν δίκαιοι ἕως οὗ ἀνταποδῷς μοι (lxx) Psa 142:7 [Vulgate 141:8] educ de carcere animam meam ut confiteatur nomini tuo me expectant iusti cum retribueris mihi(vulgate) 8 ׃142 ה֘וֹצִ֤יאָה מִמַּסְגֵּ֨ר ׀ נַפְשִׁי֮ לְהוֹד֢וֹת אֶת־שְׁ֫מֶ֥ךָ בִּ֭י יַכְתִּ֣רוּ צַדִּיקִ֑ים כִּ֖י תִגְמֹ֣ל עָלֽ͏ָי׃ Psalms Psa 142:7 Führe meine Seele aus dem Kerker, daß ich danke deinem Namen.
