καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ τετάρτῳ ἔτει ἐπὶ Δαρείου τοῦ βασιλέως ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρὸς Ζαχαριαν τετράδι τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ ἐνάτου ὅς ἐστιν Χασελευ (lxx) Zec 7:1 Et factum est in anno quarto Darii regis, factum est verbum Domini ad Zachariam, in quarta mensis noni, qui est Casleu.(vulgate) 1 ׃7 וַֽיְהִי֙ בִּשְׁנַ֣ת אַרְבַּ֔ע לְדָרְיָ֖וֶשׁ הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ הָיָ֨ה דְבַר־יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־זְכַרְיָ֗ה בְּאַרְבָּעָ֛ה לַחֹ֥דֶשׁ הַתְּשִׁעִ֖י בְּכִסְלֵֽו׃ Zechariah Zec 7:1 Und es geschah im vierten Jahr des Königs Darius, daß des HERRN Wort geschah zu Sacharja am vierten Tage des neunten Monats, welcher heißt Chislev,(dhs) Zec 7:1 Now in the fourth year of King Darius it came to pass that the word of the Lord came to Zechariah, on the fourth day of the ninth month, Chislev,(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:2 ============ Zec 7:2 Now the town of Bethel had sent Sharezer and Regemmelech and their men to seek the favor of the Lord,(nas) Zec 7:2 καὶ ἐξαπέστειλεν εἰς Βαιθηλ Σαρασαρ καὶ Αρβεσεερ ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ οἱ ἄνδρες αὐτοῦ τοῦ ἐξιλάσασθαι τὸν κύριον (lxx) Zec 7:2 Et miserunt ad domum Dei Sarasar et Rogommelech, et viri qui erant cum eo, ad deprecandam faciem Domini:(vulgate) 2 ׃7 וַיִּשְׁלַח֙ בֵּֽית־אֵ֔ל שַׂר־אֶ֕צֶר וְרֶ֥גֶם מֶ֖לֶךְ וַֽאֲנָשָׁ֑יו לְחַלּ֖וֹת אֶת־פְּנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ Zechariah Zec 7:2 da die zu Beth-El, nämlich Sarezer und Regem-Melech samt ihren Leuten, sandten, zu bitten vor dem HERRN,(dhs) Zec 7:2 when the people sent Sherezer, with Regem-Melech and his men, to the house of God, to pray before the Lord,(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:3 ============ Zec 7:3 speaking to the priests who belong to the house of the Lord of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, "Shall I weep in the fifth month and abstain, as I have done these many years?"(nas) Zec 7:3 λέγων πρὸς τοὺς ἱερεῖς τοὺς ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ κυρίου παντοκράτορος καὶ πρὸς τοὺς προφήτας λέγων εἰσελήλυθεν ὧδε ἐν τῷ μηνὶ τῷ πέμπτῳ τὸ ἁγίασμα καθότι ἐποίησα ἤδη ἱκανὰ ἔτη (lxx) Zec 7:3 ut dicerent sacerdotibus domus Domini exercituum, et prophetis, loquentes: Numquid flendum est mihi in quinto mense, vel sanctificare me debeo, sicut jam feci multis annis?(vulgate) 3 ׃7 לֵאמֹ֗ר אֶל־הַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ אֲשֶׁר֙ לְבֵית־יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת וְאֶל־הַנְּבִיאִ֖ים לֵאמֹ֑ר הַֽאֶבְכֶּה֙ בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ הַחֲמִשִׁ֔י הִנָּזֵ֕ר כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשִׂ֔יתִי זֶ֖ה כַּמֶּ֥ה שָׁנִֽים׃ פ Zechariah Zec 7:3 und ließen sagen den Priestern, die da waren um das Haus des HERRN Zebaoth, und den Propheten: Muß ich auch noch weinen im fünften Monat und mich enthalten, wie ich solches getan habe nun so viele Jahre?(dhs) Zec 7:3 and to ask the priests who were in the house of the Lord of hosts, and the prophets, saying, "Should I weep in the fifth month and fast as I have done for so many years?"(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:4 ============ Zec 7:4 Then the word of the Lord of hosts came to me, saying,(nas) Zec 7:4 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου τῶν δυνάμεων πρός με λέγων (lxx) Zec 7:4 Et factum est verbum Domini exercituum ad me, dicens:(vulgate) 4 ׃7 וַיְהִ֛י דְּבַר־יְהוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃ Zechariah Zec 7:4 Und des HERRN Zebaoth Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:(dhs) Zec 7:4 Then the word of the Lord of hosts came to me, saying,(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:5 ============ Zec 7:5 "Say to all the people of the land and to the priests, 'When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months these seventy years, was it actually for Me that you fasted?(nas) Zec 7:5 εἰπὸν πρὸς ἅπαντα τὸν λαὸν τῆς γῆς καὶ πρὸς τοὺς ἱερεῖς λέγων ἐὰν νηστεύσητε ἢ κόψησθε ἐν ταῖς πέμπταις ἢ ἐν ταῖς ἑβδόμαις καὶ ἰδοὺ ἑβδομήκοντα ἔτη μὴ νηστείαν νενηστεύκατέ μοι (lxx) Zec 7:5 Loquere ad omnem populum terræ, et ad sacerdotes, dicens: Cum jejunaretis, et plangeretis in quinto et septimo per hos septuaginta annos, numquid jejunium jejunastis mihi?(vulgate) 5 ׃7 אֱמֹר֙ אֶל־כָּל־עַ֣ם הָאָ֔רֶץ וְאֶל־הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים לֵאמֹ֑ר כִּֽי־צַמְתֶּ֨ם וְסָפ֜וֹד בַּחֲמִישִׁ֣י וּבַשְּׁבִיעִ֗י וְזֶה֙ שִׁבְעִ֣ים שָׁנָ֔ה הֲצ֥וֹם צַמְתֻּ֖נִי אָֽנִי׃ Zechariah Zec 7:5 Sage allem Volk im Lande und den Priestern und sprich: Da ihr fastetet und Leid truget im fünften Monat und siebenten Monat diese siebzig Jahre lang, habt ihr mir so gefastet?(dhs) Zec 7:5 "Say to all the people of the land, and to the priests: 'When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months during those seventy years, did you really fast for Me--for Me?(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:6 ============ Zec 7:6 When you eat and drink, do you not eat for yourselves and do you not drink for yourselves?(nas) Zec 7:6 καὶ ἐὰν φάγητε ἢ πίητε οὐχ ὑμεῖς ἔσθετε καὶ ὑμεῖς πίνετε (lxx) Zec 7:6 et cum comedistis et bibistis, numquid non vobis comedistis et vobismetipsis bibistis?(vulgate) 6 ׃7 וְכִ֥י תֹאכְל֖וּ וְכִ֣י תִשְׁתּ֑וּ הֲל֤וֹא אַתֶּם֙ הָאֹ֣כְלִ֔ים וְאַתֶּ֖ם הַשֹּׁתִֽים׃ Zechariah Zec 7:6 Oder da ihr aßet und tranket, habt ihr nicht für euch selbst gegessen und getrunken?(dhs) Zec 7:6 When you eat and when you drink, do you not eat and drink for yourselves?(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:7 ============ Zec 7:7 Are not these the words which the Lord proclaimed by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and prosperous along with its cities around it, and the Negev and the foothills were inhabited?'"(nas) Zec 7:7 οὐχ οὗτοι οἱ λόγοι εἰσίν οὓς ἐλάλησεν κύριος ἐν χερσὶν τῶν προφητῶν τῶν ἔμπροσθεν ὅτε ἦν Ιερουσαλημ κατοικουμένη καὶ εὐθηνοῦσα καὶ αἱ πόλεις αὐτῆς κυκλόθεν καὶ ἡ ὀρεινὴ καὶ ἡ πεδινὴ κατῳκεῖτο (lxx) Zec 7:7 numquid non sunt verba quæ locutus est Dominus in manu prophetarum priorum, cum adhuc Jerusalem habitaretur ut esset opulenta, ipsa et urbes in circuitu ejus, et ad austrum, et in campestribus habitaretur?(vulgate) 7 ׃7 הֲל֣וֹא אֶת־הַדְּבָרִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר קָרָ֤א יְהוָה֙ בְּיַד֙ הַנְּבִיאִ֣ים הָרִֽאשֹׁנִ֔ים בִּהְי֤וֹת יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ יֹשֶׁ֣בֶת וּשְׁלֵוָ֔ה וְעָרֶ֖יהָ סְבִיבֹתֶ֑יהָ וְהַנֶּ֥גֶב וְהַשְּׁפֵלָ֖ה יֹשֵֽׁב׃ פ Zechariah Zec 7:7 Ist's nicht das, was der HERR predigen ließ durch die vorigen Propheten, da Jerusalem bewohnt war und hatte die Fülle samt ihren Städten umher und Leute wohnen gegen Mittag und in den Gründen?(dhs) Zec 7:7 Should you not have obeyed the words which the Lord proclaimed through the former prophets when Jerusalem and the cities around it were inhabited and prosperous, and the South and the Lowland were inhabited?' "(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:8 ============ Zec 7:8 Then the word of the Lord came to Zechariah saying,(nas) Zec 7:8 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρὸς Ζαχαριαν λέγων (lxx) Zec 7:8 Et factum est verbum Domini ad Zachariam, dicens:(vulgate) 8 ׃7 וַֽיְהִי֙ דְּבַר־יְהוָ֔ה אֶל־זְכַרְיָ֖ה לֵאמֹֽר׃ Zechariah Zec 7:8 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu Sacharja und sprach:(dhs) Zec 7:8 Then the word of the Lord came to Zechariah, saying,(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:9 ============ Zec 7:9 "Thus has the Lord of hosts said, 'Dispense true justice and practice kindness and compassion each to his brother;(nas) Zec 7:9 τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ κρίμα δίκαιον κρίνατε καὶ ἔλεος καὶ οἰκτιρμὸν ποιεῖτε ἕκαστος πρὸς τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτοῦ (lxx) Zec 7:9 Hæc ait Dominus exercituum, dicens: Judicium verum judicate, et misericordiam et miserationes facite, unusquisque cum fratre suo.(vulgate) 9 ׃7 כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֛ר יְהוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת לֵאמֹ֑ר מִשְׁפַּ֤ט אֱמֶת֙ שְׁפֹ֔טוּ וְחֶ֣סֶד וְרַֽחֲמִ֔ים עֲשׂ֖וּ אִ֥ישׁ אֶת־אָחִֽיו׃ Zechariah Zec 7:9 Also sprach der HERR Zebaoth: Richtet recht, und ein jeglicher beweise an seinem Bruder Güte und Barmherzigkeit;(dhs) Zec 7:9 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Execute true justice, Show mercy and compassion Everyone to his brother.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:10 ============ Zec 7:10 and do not oppress the widow or the orphan, the stranger or the poor; and do not devise evil in your hearts against one another.'(nas) Zec 7:10 καὶ χήραν καὶ ὀρφανὸν καὶ προσήλυτον καὶ πένητα μὴ καταδυναστεύετε καὶ κακίαν ἕκαστος τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ αὐτοῦ μὴ μνησικακείτω ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις ὑμῶν (lxx) Zec 7:10 Et viduam, et pupillum, et advenam, et pauperem nolite calumniari: et malum vir fratri suo non cogitet in corde suo.(vulgate) 10 ׃7 וְאַלְמָנָ֧ה וְיָת֛וֹם גֵּ֥ר וְעָנִ֖י אַֽל־תַּעֲשֹׁ֑קוּ וְרָעַת֙ אִ֣ישׁ אָחִ֔יו אַֽל־תַּחְשְׁב֖וּ בִּלְבַבְכֶֽם׃ Zechariah Zec 7:10 und tut nicht unrecht den Witwen, Fremdlingen und Armen; und denke keiner wider seinen Bruder etwas Arges in seinem Herzen!(dhs) Zec 7:10 Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, The alien or the poor. Let none of you plan evil in his heart Against his brother.'(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:11 ============ Zec 7:11 But they refused to pay attention and turned a stubborn shoulder and stopped their ears from hearing.(nas) Zec 7:11 καὶ ἠπείθησαν τοῦ προσέχειν καὶ ἔδωκαν νῶτον παραφρονοῦντα καὶ τὰ ὦτα αὐτῶν ἐβάρυναν τοῦ μὴ εἰσακούειν (lxx) Zec 7:11 Et noluerunt attendere, et averterunt scapulam recedentem, et aures suas aggravaverunt ne audirent.(vulgate) 11 ׃7 וַיְמָאֲנ֣וּ לְהַקְשִׁ֔יב וַיִּתְּנ֥וּ כָתֵ֖ף סֹרָ֑רֶת וְאָזְנֵיהֶ֖ם הִכְבִּ֥ידוּ מִשְּׁמֽוֹעַ׃ Zechariah Zec 7:11 Aber sie wollten nicht aufmerken und kehrten mir den Rücken zu und verstockten ihre Ohren, daß sie nicht hörten,(dhs) Zec 7:11 "But they refused to heed, shrugged their shoulders, and stopped their ears so that they could not hear.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:12 ============ Zec 7:12 They made their hearts like flint so that they could not hear the law and the words which the Lord of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets; therefore great wrath came from the Lord of hosts.(nas) Zec 7:12 καὶ τὴν καρδίαν αὐτῶν ἔταξαν ἀπειθῆ τοῦ μὴ εἰσακούειν τοῦ νόμου μου καὶ τοὺς λόγους οὓς ἐξαπέστειλεν κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἐν πνεύματι αὐτοῦ ἐν χερσὶν τῶν προφητῶν τῶν ἔμπροσθεν καὶ ἐγένετο ὀργὴ μεγάλη παρὰ κυρίου παντοκράτορος (lxx) Zec 7:12 Et cor suum posuerunt ut adamantem, ne audirent legem, et verba quæ misit Dominus exercituum in spiritu suo per manum prophetarum priorum: et facta est indignatio magna a Domino exercituum.(vulgate) 12 ׃7 וְלִבָּ֞ם שָׂ֣מוּ שָׁמִ֗יר מִ֠שְּׁמוֹעַ אֶת־הַתּוֹרָ֤ה וְאֶת־הַדְּבָרִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֨ר שָׁלַ֜ח יְהוָ֤ה צְבָאוֹת֙ בְּרוּח֔וֹ בְּיַ֖ד הַנְּבִיאִ֣ים הָרִֽאשֹׁנִ֑ים וַֽיְהִי֙ קֶ֣צֶף גָּד֔וֹל מֵאֵ֖ת יְהוָ֥ה צְבָאֽוֹת׃ Zechariah Zec 7:12 und machten ihre Herzen wie ein Demant, daß sie nicht hörten das Gesetz und die Worte, welche der HERR Zebaoth sandte in seinem Geiste durch die vorigen Propheten. Daher so großer Zorn vom HERRN Zebaoth gekommen ist;(dhs) Zec 7:12 Yes, they made their hearts like flint, refusing to hear the law and the words which the Lord of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets. Thus great wrath came from the Lord of hosts.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:13 ============ Zec 7:13 And just as He called and they would not listen, so they called and I would not listen," says the Lord of hosts;(nas) Zec 7:13 καὶ ἔσται ὃν τρόπον εἶπεν καὶ οὐκ εἰσήκουσαν αὐτοῦ οὕτως κεκράξονται καὶ οὐ μὴ εἰσακούσω λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ (lxx) Zec 7:13 Et factum est sicut locutus est, et non audierunt: sic clamabunt et non exaudiam, dicit Dominus exercituum.(vulgate) 13 ׃7 וַיְהִ֥י כַאֲשֶׁר־קָרָ֖א וְלֹ֣א שָׁמֵ֑עוּ כֵּ֤ן יִקְרְאוּ֙ וְלֹ֣א אֶשְׁמָ֔ע אָמַ֖ר יְהוָ֥ה צְבָאֽוֹת׃ Zechariah Zec 7:13 und es ist also ergangen; gleichwie gepredigt ward, und sie nicht hörten, so wollte ich auch nicht hören, da sie riefen, spricht der HERR Zebaoth.(dhs) Zec 7:13 Therefore it happened, that just as He proclaimed and they would not hear, so they called out and I would not listen," says the Lord of hosts.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:14 ============ Zec 7:14 "but I scattered them with a storm wind among all the nations whom they have not known. Thus the land is desolated behind them so that no one went back and forth, for they made the pleasant land desolate."(nas) Zec 7:14 καὶ ἐκβαλῶ αὐτοὺς εἰς πάντα τὰ ἔθνη ἃ οὐκ ἔγνωσαν καὶ ἡ γῆ ἀφανισθήσεται κατόπισθεν αὐτῶν ἐκ διοδεύοντος καὶ ἐξ ἀναστρέφοντος καὶ ἔταξαν γῆν ἐκλεκτὴν εἰς ἀφανισμόν (lxx) Zec 7:14 Et dispersi eos per omnia regna quæ nesciunt: et terra desolata est ab eis, eo quod non esset transiens et revertens: et posuerunt terram desiderabilem in desertum.(vulgate) 14 ׃7 וְאֵ֣סָעֲרֵ֗ם עַ֤ל כָּל־הַגּוֹיִם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא־יְדָע֔וּם וְהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ נָשַׁ֣מָּה אַֽחֲרֵיהֶ֔ם מֵֽעֹבֵ֖ר וּמִשָּׁ֑ב וַיָּשִׂ֥ימוּ אֶֽרֶץ־חֶמְדָּ֖ה לְשַׁמָּֽה׃ פ Zechariah Zec 7:14 Also habe ich sie zerstreut unter alle Heiden, die sie nicht kannten, und ist das Land hinter ihnen Wüst geblieben, daß niemand darin wandelt noch wohnt, und ist das edle Land zur Wüstung gemacht.(dhs) Zec 7:14 "But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations which they had not known.
