Today's Date: ======= Zechariah 3:1 ============ Zec 3:1 Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him.(nas) Zec 3:1 καὶ ἔδειξέν μοι Ἰησοῦν τὸν ἱερέα τὸν μέγαν ἑστῶτα πρὸ προσώπου ἀγγέλου κυρίου καὶ ὁ διάβολος εἱστήκει ἐκ δεξιῶν αὐτοῦ τοῦ ἀντικεῖσθαι αὐτῷ (lxx) Zec 3:1 Et ostendit mihi Dominus Jesum sacerdotem magnum, stantem coram angelo Domini: et Satan stabat a dextris ejus ut adversaretur ei.(vulgate) 1 ׃3 וַיַּרְאֵ֗נִי אֶת־יְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙ הַכֹּהֵ֣ן הַגָּד֔וֹל עֹמֵ֕ד לִפְנֵ֖י מַלְאַ֣ךְ יְהוָ֑ה וְהַשָּׂטָ֛ן עֹמֵ֥ד עַל־יְמִינ֖וֹ לְשִׂטְנֽוֹ׃ Zechariah Zec 3:1 Und mir ward gezeigt der Hohepriester Josua, stehend vor dem Engel des HERRN; und der Satan stand zu seiner Rechten, daß er ihm widerstünde.(dhs) Zec 3:1 Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 3:2 ============ Zec 3:2 The Lord said to Satan, "The Lord rebuke you, Satan! Indeed, the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?"(nas) Zec 3:2 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς τὸν διάβολον ἐπιτιμήσαι κύριος ἐν σοί διάβολε καὶ ἐπιτιμήσαι κύριος ἐν σοὶ ὁ ἐκλεξάμενος τὴν Ιερουσαλημ οὐκ ἰδοὺ τοῦτο ὡς δαλὸς ἐξεσπασμένος ἐκ πυρός (lxx) Zec 3:2 Et dixit Dominus ad Satan: Increpet Dominus in te, Satan! et increpet Dominus in te, qui elegit Jerusalem! numquid non iste torris est erutus de igne?(vulgate) 2 ׃3 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־הַשָּׂטָ֗ן יִגְעַ֨ר יְהוָ֤ה בְּךָ֙ הַשָּׂטָ֔ן וְיִגְעַ֤ר יְהוָה֙ בְּךָ֔ הַבֹּחֵ֖ר בִּירֽוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם הֲל֧וֹא זֶ֦ה א֖וּד מֻצָּ֥ל מֵאֵֽשׁ׃ Zechariah Zec 3:2 Und der HERR sprach zu dem Satan: Der HERR schelte dich du Satan! ja, der HERR schelte dich, der Jerusalem erwählt hat! Ist dieser nicht ein Brand, der aus dem Feuer errettet ist?(dhs) Zec 3:2 And the Lord said to Satan, "The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?"(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 3:3 ============ Zec 3:3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments and standing before the angel.(nas) Zec 3:3 καὶ Ἰησοῦς ἦν ἐνδεδυμένος ἱμάτια ῥυπαρὰ καὶ εἱστήκει πρὸ προσώπου τοῦ ἀγγέλου (lxx) Zec 3:3 Et Jesus erat indutus vestibus sordidis, et stabat ante faciem angeli.(vulgate) 3 ׃3 וִיהוֹשֻׁ֕עַ הָיָ֥ה לָבֻ֖שׁ בְּגָדִ֣ים צוֹאִ֑ים וְעֹמֵ֖ד לִפְנֵ֥י הַמַּלְאָֽךְ׃ Zechariah Zec 3:3 Und Josua hatte unreine Kleider an und stand vor dem Engel,(dhs) Zec 3:3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 3:4 ============ Zec 3:4 He spoke and said to those who were standing before him, saying, "Remove the filthy garments from him." Again he said to him, "See, I have taken your iniquity away from you and will clothe you with festal robes."(nas) Zec 3:4 καὶ ἀπεκρίθη καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς τοὺς ἑστηκότας πρὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ λέγων ἀφέλετε τὰ ἱμάτια τὰ ῥυπαρὰ ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτόν ἰδοὺ ἀφῄρηκα τὰς ἀνομίας σου καὶ ἐνδύσατε αὐτὸν ποδήρη (lxx) Zec 3:4 Qui respondit, et ait ad eos qui stabant coram se, dicens: Auferte vestimenta sordida ab eo. Et dixit ad eum: Ecce abstuli a te iniquitatem tuam, et indui te mutatoriis.(vulgate) 4 ׃3 וַיַּ֣עַן וַיֹּ֗אמֶר אֶל־הָעֹמְדִ֤ים לְפָנָיו֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר הָסִ֛ירוּ הַבְּגָדִ֥ים הַצֹּאִ֖ים מֵעָלָ֑יו וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלָ֗יו רְאֵ֨ה הֶעֱבַ֤רְתִּי מֵעָלֶ֙יךָ֙ עֲוֺנֶ֔ךָ וְהַלְבֵּ֥שׁ אֹתְךָ֖ מַחֲלָצֽוֹת׃ Zechariah Zec 3:4 welcher antwortete und sprach zu denen, die vor ihm standen: Tut die unreinen Kleider von ihm! Und er sprach zu ihm: Siehe, ich habe deine Sünde von dir genommen und habe dich mit Feierkleidern angezogen.(dhs) Zec 3:4 Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, "Take away the filthy garments from him." And to him He said, "See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes."(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 3:5 ============ Zec 3:5 Then I said, "Let them put a clean turban on his head." So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him with garments, while the angel of the Lord was standing by.(nas) Zec 3:5 καὶ ἐπίθετε κίδαριν καθαρὰν ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ καὶ περιέβαλον αὐτὸν ἱμάτια καὶ ἐπέθηκαν κίδαριν καθαρὰν ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ καὶ ὁ ἄγγελος κυρίου εἱστήκει (lxx) Zec 3:5 Et dixit: Ponite cidarim mundam super caput ejus. Et posuerunt cidarim mundam super caput ejus, et induerunt eum vestibus: et angelus Domini stabat.(vulgate) 5 ׃3 וָאֹמַ֕ר יָשִׂ֛ימוּ צָנִ֥יף טָה֖וֹר עַל־רֹאשׁ֑וֹ וַיָּשִׂימוּ֩ הַצָּנִ֨יף הַטָּה֜וֹר עַל־רֹאשׁ֗וֹ וַיַּלְבִּשֻׁ֙הוּ֙ בְּגָדִ֔ים וּמַלְאַ֥ךְ יְהוָ֖ה עֹמֵֽד׃ Zechariah Zec 3:5 Und er sprach: Setzt einen reinen Hut auf sein Haupt! Und sie setzten einen reinen Hut auf sein Haupt und zogen ihm Kleider an, und der Engel des HERRN stand da.(dhs) Zec 3:5 And I said, "Let them put a clean turban on his head." So they put a clean turban on his head, and they put the clothes on him. And the Angel of the Lord stood by.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 3:6 ============ Zec 3:6 And the angel of the Lord admonished Joshua, saying,(nas) Zec 3:6 καὶ διεμαρτύρατο ὁ ἄγγελος κυρίου πρὸς Ἰησοῦν λέγων (lxx) Zec 3:6 Et contestabatur angelus Domini Jesum, dicens:(vulgate) 6 ׃3 וַיָּ֙עַד֙ מַלְאַ֣ךְ יְהוָ֔ה בִּיהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ לֵאמֹֽר׃ Zechariah Zec 3:6 Und der Engel des HERRN bezeugte Josua und sprach:(dhs) Zec 3:6 Then the Angel of the Lord admonished Joshua, saying,(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 3:7 ============ Zec 3:7 "Thus says the Lord of hosts, 'If you will walk in My ways and if you will perform My service, then you will also govern My house and also have charge of My courts, and I will grant you free access among these who are standing here.(nas) Zec 3:7 τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἐὰν ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς μου πορεύῃ καὶ ἐὰν τὰ προστάγματά μου φυλάξῃς καὶ σὺ διακρινεῖς τὸν οἶκόν μου καὶ ἐὰν διαφυλάξῃς καί γε τὴν αὐλήν μου καὶ δώσω σοι ἀναστρεφομένους ἐν μέσῳ τῶν ἑστηκότων τούτων (lxx) Zec 3:7 [Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum: Si in viis meis ambulaveris, et custodiam meam custodieris, tu quoque judicabis domum meam, et custodies atria mea, et dabo tibi ambulantes de his qui nunc hic assistunt.(vulgate) 7 ׃3 כֹּה־אָמַ֞ר יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֗וֹת אִם־בִּדְרָכַ֤י תֵּלֵךְ֙ וְאִ֣ם אֶת־מִשְׁמַרְתִּ֣י תִשְׁמֹ֔ר וְגַם־אַתָּה֙ תָּדִ֣ין אֶת־בֵּיתִ֔י וְגַ֖ם תִּשְׁמֹ֣ר אֶת־חֲצֵרָ֑י וְנָתַתִּ֤י לְךָ֙ מַהְלְכִ֔ים בֵּ֥ין הָעֹמְדִ֖ים הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ Zechariah Zec 3:7 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Wirst du in meinen Wegen wandeln und meines Dienstes warten, so sollst du regieren mein Haus und meine Höfe bewahren; und ich will dir geben von diesen, die hier stehen, daß sie dich geleiten sollen.(dhs) Zec 3:7 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'If you will walk in My ways, And if you will keep My command, Then you shall also judge My house, And likewise have charge of My courts; I will give you places to walk Among these who stand here.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 3:8 ============ Zec 3:8 Now listen, Joshua the high priest, you and your friends who are sitting in front of you"indeed they are men who are a symbol, for behold, I am going to bring in My servant the Branch.(nas) Zec 3:8 ἄκουε δή Ἰησοῦ ὁ ἱερεὺς ὁ μέγας σὺ καὶ οἱ πλησίον σου οἱ καθήμενοι πρὸ προσώπου σου διότι ἄνδρες τερατοσκόποι εἰσί διότι ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἄγω τὸν δοῦλόν μου Ἀνατολήν (lxx) Zec 3:8 Audi, Jesu sacerdos magne, tu et amici tui, qui habitant coram te, quia viri portendentes sunt: ecce enim ego adducam servum meum Orientem.(vulgate) 8 ׃3 שְֽׁמַֽע־נָ֞א יְהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ ׀ הַכֹּהֵ֣ן הַגָּד֗וֹל אַתָּה֙ וְרֵעֶ֙יךָ֙ הַיֹּשְׁבִ֣ים לְפָנֶ֔יךָ כִּֽי־אַנְשֵׁ֥י מוֹפֵ֖ת הֵ֑מָּה כִּֽי־הִנְנִ֥י מֵבִ֛יא אֶת־עַבְדִּ֖י צֶֽמַח׃ Zechariah Zec 3:8 Höre zu, Josua, du Hoherpriester, du und deine Freunde, die vor dir sitzen; denn sie sind miteinander ein Wahrzeichen. Denn siehe, ich will meinen Knecht Zemach kommen lassen.(dhs) Zec 3:8 'Hear, O Joshua, the high priest, You and your companions who sit before you, For they are a wondrous sign; For behold, I am bringing forth My Servant the BRANCH.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 3:9 ============ Zec 3:9 For behold, the stone that I have set before Joshua; on one stone are seven eyes. Behold, I will engrave an inscription on it,' declares the Lord of hosts, 'and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.(nas) Zec 3:9 διότι ὁ λίθος ὃν ἔδωκα πρὸ προσώπου Ἰησοῦ ἐπὶ τὸν λίθον τὸν ἕνα ἑπτὰ ὀφθαλμοί εἰσιν ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ὀρύσσω βόθρον λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ καὶ ψηλαφήσω πᾶσαν τὴν ἀδικίαν τῆς γῆς ἐκείνης ἐν ἡμέρᾳ μιᾷ (lxx) Zec 3:9 Quia ecce lapis quem dedi coram Jesu: super lapidem unum septem oculi sunt: ecce ego cælabo sculpturam ejus, ait Dominus exercituum, et auferam iniquitatem terræ illius in die una.(vulgate) 9 ׃3 כִּ֣י ׀ הִנֵּ֣ה הָאֶ֗בֶן אֲשֶׁ֤ר נָתַ֙תִּי֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ עַל־אֶ֥בֶן אַחַ֖ת שִׁבְעָ֣ה עֵינָ֑יִם הִנְנִ֧י מְפַתֵּ֣חַ פִּתֻּחָ֗הּ נְאֻם֙ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת וּמַשְׁתִּ֛י אֶת־עֲוֺ֥ן הָאָֽרֶץ־הַהִ֖יא בְּי֥וֹם אֶחָֽד׃ Zechariah Zec 3:9 Denn siehe, auf dem einen Stein, den ich vor Josua gelegt habe, sollen sieben Augen sein. Siehe, ich will ihn aushauen, spricht der HERR Zebaoth, und will die Sünde des Landes wegnehmen auf einen Tag.(dhs) Zec 3:9 For behold, the stone That I have laid before Joshua: Upon the stone are seven eyes. Behold, I will engrave its inscription,' Says the Lord of hosts, 'And I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 3:10 ============ Zec 3:10 'In that day,' declares the Lord of hosts, 'every one of you will invite his neighbor to sit under his vine and under his fig tree.'"(nas) Zec 3:10 ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ συγκαλέσετε ἕκαστος τὸν πλησίον αὐτοῦ ὑποκάτω ἀμπέλου καὶ ὑποκάτω συκῆς (lxx) Zec 3:10 In die illa, dicit Dominus exercituum, vocabit vir amicum suum subter vitem et subter ficum.](vulgate) 10 ׃3 בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא נְאֻם֙ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת תִּקְרְא֖וּ אִ֣ישׁ לְרֵעֵ֑הוּ אֶל־תַּ֥חַת גֶּ֖פֶן וְאֶל־תַּ֥חַת תְּאֵנָֽה׃ Zechariah Zec 3:10 Zu derselben Zeit, spricht der HERR Zebaoth, wird einer den andern laden unter den Weinstock und unter den Feigenbaum.(dhs) Zec 3:10 In that day,' says the Lord of hosts, 'Everyone will invite his neighbor Under his vine and under his fig tree.'
