(Nestle-Aland) Mat 5:6 Beati qui esuriunt et sitiunt justitiam: quoniam ipsi saturabuntur.(vulgate) אַשְׁרֵי הָרְעֵבִים וְהַצְּמֵאִים לִצְדָקָה כִּי־הֵם יִרְוָיֻן׃ ו Matthew Mat 5:6 Selig sind, die da hungert und dürstet nach der Gerechtigkeit; denn sie sollen satt werden.(dhs) Mat 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.(nkjv) ======= Matthew 5:7 ============ Mat 5:7 "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.(nas) Mat 5:7 μακάριοι οἱ ἐλεήμονες, ὅτι αὐτοὶ ἐλεηθήσονται. (Nestle-Aland) Mat 5:10 Beati qui persecutionem patiuntur propter justitiam: quoniam ipsorum est regnum cælorum.(vulgate) אַשְׁרֵי הַנִּרְדָּפִים עֵקֶב צִדְקָתָם כִּי לָהֶם מַלְכוּת הַשָּׁמָיִם׃ י Matthew Mat 5:10 Selig sind, die um Gerechtigkeit willen verfolgt werden; denn das Himmelreich ist ihr.(dhs) Mat 5:10 Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.(nkjv) ======= Matthew 5:11 ============ Mat 5:11 "Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.(nas) Mat 5:11 μακάριοί ἐστε ὅταν ὀνειδίσωσιν ὑμᾶς καὶ διώξωσιν καὶ εἴπωσιν πᾶν πονηρὸν καθ᾽ ὑμῶν [ψευδόμενοι] ἕνεκεν ἐμοῦ· (Nestle-Aland) Mat 5:11 Beati estis cum maledixerint vobis, et persecuti vos fuerint, et dixerint omne malum adversum vos mentientes, propter me:(vulgate) אַשְׁרֵיכֶם אִם־יְחָרְפוּ אִם־יִרְדְּפוּ אֶתְכֶם וּבַשֶּׁקֶר יָבִיאוּ דִבַּתְכֶם רָעָה בַּעֲבוּר שְׁמִי׃ יא Matthew Mat 5:11 Selig seid ihr, wenn euch die Menschen um meinetwillen schmähen und verfolgen und reden allerlei Übles gegen euch, so sie daran lügen.(dhs) Mat 5:11 "Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.(nkjv) ======= Matthew 5:12 ============ Mat 5:12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.(nas) Mat 5:12 χαίρετε καὶ ἀγαλλιᾶσθε, ὅτι ὁ μισθὸς ὑμῶν πολὺς ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς· οὕτως γὰρ ἐδίωξαν τοὺς προφήτας τοὺς πρὸ ὑμῶν. (Nestle-Aland) Mat 5:12 gaudete, et exsultate, quoniam merces vestra copiosa est in cælis. Sic enim persecuti sunt prophetas, qui fuerunt ante vos.~(vulgate) שִׂישׂוּ וְגִילוּ כִּי שְׂכַרְכֶם הַרְבֶּה מְאֹד בַּשָּׁמָיִם כִּי־כֵן רָדְפוּ אֶת־הַנְּבִיאִים אֲשֶׁר הָיוּ לִפְנֵיכֶם׃ יב Matthew Mat 5:12 Seid fröhlich und getrost; es wird euch im Himmel wohl belohnt werden. Denn also haben sie verfolgt die Propheten, die vor euch gewesen sind.(dhs) Mat 5:12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.(nkjv) ======= Matthew 5:13 ============ Mat 5:13 "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men.(nas) Mat 5:13 ὑμεῖς ἐστε τὸ ἅλας τῆς γῆς· ἐὰν δὲ τὸ ἅλας μωρανθῇ, ἐν τίνι ἁλισθήσεται; εἰς οὐδὲν ἰσχύει ἔτι εἰ μὴ βληθὲν ἔξω καταπατεῖσθαι ὑπὸ τῶν ἀνθρώπων. (Nestle-Aland) Mat 5:13 Vos estis sal terræ. Quod si sal evanuerit, in quo salietur? ad nihilum valet ultra, nisi ut mittatur foras, et conculcetur ab hominibus.(vulgate) אַתֶּם מֶלַח הָאָרֶץ וְאִם־הַמֶּלַח יָפוּג טַעְמוֹ בַּמֶּה יָמְלָח תָּפֵל לֹא־יִצְלַח לַכֹּל כִּי אִם־יְזֹרֶה הַחוּצָה וְהָיָה לְמִרְמַס רָגֶל׃ יג Matthew Mat 5:13 Ihr seid das Salz der Erde. Wo nun das Salz dumm wird, womit soll man's salzen? Es ist hinfort zu nichts nütze, denn das man es hinausschütte und lasse es die Leute zertreten.(dhs) Mat 5:13 "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.(nkjv) ======= Matthew 5:14 ============ Mat 5:14 "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden;(nas) Mat 5:14 ὑμεῖς ἐστε τὸ φῶς τοῦ κόσμου. οὐ δύναται πόλις κρυβῆναι ἐπάνω ὄρους κειμένη· (Nestle-Aland) Mat 5:14 Vos estis lux mundi. Non potest civitas abscondi supra montem posita,(vulgate) אַתֶּם אוֹר הָעוֹלָם עִיר יֹשֶׁבֶת עַל־הָהָר לֹא תוּכַל לְהִסָּתֵר׃ יד Matthew Mat 5:14 Ihr seid das Licht der Welt. Es kann die Stadt, die auf einem Berge liegt, nicht verborgen sein.(dhs) Mat 5:14 You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.(nkjv) ======= Matthew 5:15 ============ Mat 5:15 nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.(nas) Mat 5:15 οὐδὲ καίουσιν λύχνον καὶ τιθέασιν αὐτὸν ὑπὸ τὸν μόδιον ἀλλ᾽ ἐπὶ τὴν λυχνίαν, καὶ λάμπει πᾶσιν τοῖς ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ. (Nestle-Aland) Mat 5:16 Sic luceat lux vestra coram hominibus: ut videant opera vestra bona, et glorificent Patrem vestrum, qui in cælis est.~(vulgate) כֹּה יָאֵר אוֹרְכֶם לְעֵנֵי בְנֵי־הָאָדָם וְרָאוּ מַעֲשֵׂיכֶם הַטּוֹבִים וְאֶת־אֲבִיכֶם בַּשָּׁמַיִם יְכַבֵּדוּ׃ טז Matthew Mat 5:16 Also laßt euer Licht leuchten vor den Leuten, daß sie eure guten Werke sehen und euren Vater im Himmel preisen.(dhs) Mat 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.(nkjv) ======= Matthew 5:17 ============ Mat 5:17 "Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill.(nas) Mat 5:17 μὴ νομίσητε ὅτι ἦλθον καταλῦσαι τὸν νόμον ἢ τοὺς προφήτας· οὐκ ἦλθον καταλῦσαι ἀλλὰ πληρῶσαι. (Nestle-Aland) Mat 5:17 Nolite putare quoniam veni solvere legem aut prophetas: non veni solvere, sed adimplere.(vulgate) אַל תַּחְשְׁבוּ כִּי בָאתִי לְהָפֵר הַתּוֹרָה אוֹ הַנְּבִיאִים לֹא לְהָפֵר בָּאתִי כִּי אִם־לְמַלְּאֹת׃ יז Matthew Mat 5:17 Ihr sollt nicht wähnen, daß ich gekommen bin, das Gesetz oder die Propheten aufzulösen; ich bin nicht gekommen, aufzulösen, sondern zu erfüllen.(dhs) Mat 5:17 "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.(nkjv) ======= Matthew 5:18 ============ Mat 5:18 For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.(nas) Mat 5:18 ἀμὴν γὰρ λέγω ὑμῖν, ἕως ἂν παρέλθῃ ὁ οὐρανὸς καὶ ἡ γῆ, ἰῶτα ἓν ἢ μία κεραία οὐ μὴ παρέλθῃ ἀπὸ τοῦ νόμου ἕως ἂν πάντα γένηται. (Nestle-Aland) Mat 5:18 Amen quippe dico vobis, donec transeat cælum et terra, jota unum aut unus apex non præteribit a lege, donec omnia fiant.(vulgate) כִּי הֵן אָמֵן אָנֹכִי מַגִּיד לָכֶם עַד אֲשֶׁר הַשָּׁמַיִם וְהָאָרֶץ יַעֲבֹרוּן לֹא תַעֲבֹר יוּד אַחַת מִן־הַתּוֹרָה אַף לֹא קוֹץ אֶחָד עַד כִּי־כֻלָּם יָקוּמוּ׃ יח Matthew Mat 5:18 Denn ich sage euch wahrlich: Bis daß Himmel und Erde zergehe, wird nicht zergehen der kleinste Buchstabe noch ein Tüttel vom Gesetz, bis daß es alles geschehe.(dhs) Mat 5:18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.(nkjv) ======= Matthew 5:19 ============ Mat 5:19 Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.(nas) Mat 5:19 ὃς ἐὰν οὗν λύσῃ μίαν τῶν ἐντολῶν τούτων τῶν ἐλαχίστων καὶ διδάξῃ οὕτως τοὺς ἀνθρώπους, ἐλάχιστος κληθήσεται ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τῶν οὐρανῶν· ὃς δ᾽ ἂν ποιήσῃ καὶ διδάξῃ, οὖτος μέγας κληθήσεται ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τῶν οὐρανῶν. (Nestle-Aland) Mat 5:19 Qui ergo solverit unum de mandatis istis minimis, et docuerit sic homines, minimus vocabitur in regno cælorum: qui autem fecerit et docuerit, hic magnus vocabitur in regno cælorum.(vulgate) לָכֵן כָּל־הַמֵּפִיר אַחַת מִמִּצְוֹת קְטַנּוֹת אֵלֶּה וְהוֹרָה כָזֹאת לַאֲנָשִׁים נִקְלֶה יִקָּרֵא בְּמַלְכוּת הַשָּׁמַיִם וְהָעֹשֶׂה אֹתָן וּמְלַמֵּד לַעֲשׂוֹתָן נִכְבָּד יִקָּרֵא בְּמַלְכוּת הַשָּׁמָיִם׃ יט Matthew Mat 5:19 Wer nun eines von diesen kleinsten Geboten auflöst und lehrt die Leute also, der wird der Kleinste heißen im Himmelreich; wer es aber tut und lehrt, der wird groß heißen im Himmelreich.(dhs) Mat 5:19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.(nkjv) ======= Matthew 5:20 ============ Mat 5:20 "For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.(nas) Mat 5:20 λέγω γὰρ ὑμῖν ὅτι ἐὰν μὴ περισσεύσῃ ὑμῶν ἡ δικαιοσύνη πλεῖον τῶν γραμματέων καὶ φαρισαίων, οὐ μὴ εἰσέλθητε εἰς τὴν βασιλείαν τῶν οὐρανῶν. (Nestle-Aland) Mat 5:20 Dico enim vobis, quia nisi abundaverit justitia vestra plus quam scribarum et pharisæorum, non intrabitis in regnum cælorum.~(vulgate) וַאֲנִי אֹמֵר לָכֶם אִם לֹא־תִגְדַּל צִדְקַתְכֶם מִצִּדְקַת הַסּוֹפְרִים וְהַפְּרוּשִׁים לֹא תָבֹאוּ לְמַלְכוּת הַשָּׁמָיִם׃ כ Matthew Mat 5:20 Denn ich sage euch: Es sei denn eure Gerechtigkeit besser als der Schriftgelehrten und Pharisäer, so werdet ihr nicht in das Himmelreich kommen.(dhs) Mat 5:20 For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.(nkjv) ======= Matthew 5:21 ============ Mat 5:21 "You have heard that the ancients were told, 'You shall not commit murder' and 'Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.'(nas) Mat 5:21 ἠκούσατε ὅτι ἐρρέθη τοῖς ἀρχαίοις, οὐ φονεύσεις· ὃς δ᾽ ἂν φονεύσῃ, ἔνοχος ἔσται τῇ κρίσει. (Nestle-Aland) Mat 5:21 Audistis quia dictum est antiquis: Non occides: qui autem occiderit, reus erit judicio.(vulgate) שְׁמַעְתֶּם אֵת אֲשֶׁר נֶאֱמַר לַקַּדְמֹנִים לֹא תִּרְצָח וְהָאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִרְצַח יִנָּתֵן לַמִּשְׁפָּט בִּפְלִלִים׃ כא Matthew Mat 5:21 Ihr habt gehört, daß zu den Alten gesagt ist: "Du sollst nicht töten; wer aber tötet, der soll des Gerichts schuldig sein."(dhs) Mat 5:21 "You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.'(nkjv) ======= Matthew 5:22 ============ Mat 5:22 But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, 'You good-for-nothing, 'shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, 'You fool, 'shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.(nas) Mat 5:22 ἐγὼ δὲ λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι πᾶς ὁ ὀργιζόμενος τῶ ἀδελφῶ αὐτοῦ ἔνοχος ἔσται τῇ κρίσει· ὃς δ᾽ ἂν εἴπῃ τῶ ἀδελφῶ αὐτοῦ, ῥακά, ἔνοχος ἔσται τῶ συνεδρίῳ· ὃς δ᾽ ἂν εἴπῃ, μωρέ, ἔνοχος ἔσται εἰς τὴν γέενναν τοῦ πυρός. (Nestle-Aland) Mat 5:22 Ego autem dico vobis: quia omnis qui irascitur fratri suo, reus erit judicio. Qui autem dixerit fratri suo, raca: reus erit concilio. Qui autem dixerit, fatue: reus erit gehennæ ignis.(vulgate) וַאֲנִי אֹמֵר לָכֶם הַמִּתְעַבֵּר בְּאָחִיו חִנָּם יִנָּתֵן לַמִּשְׁפָּט בִּפְלִלִים וְהַקֹּרֵא לְאָחִיו רֵיקָה יִנָּתֵן בִּידֵי הַסַּנְהֶדְרִין וְאִם נָבָל יִקְרָא־לוֹ יִפֹּל לְאֵשׁ גֵּיהִנֹּם׃ כב Matthew Mat 5:22 Ich aber sage euch: Wer mit seinem Bruder zürnet, der ist des Gerichts schuldig; wer aber zu seinem Bruder sagt: Racha! der ist des Rats schuldig; wer aber sagt: Du Narr! der ist des höllischen Feuers schuldig.(dhs) Mat 5:22 But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, 'Raca!' shall be in danger of the council.
