Salvation and glory and power belong to our God;(nas) Rev 19:1 μετὰ ταῦτα ἤκουσα ὡς φωνὴν μεγάλην ὄχλου πολλοῦ ἐν τῶ οὐρανῶ λεγόντων, ἁλληλουϊά· ἡ σωτηρία καὶ ἡ δόξα καὶ ἡ δύναμις τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμῶν, (Nestle-Aland) Rev 19:1 Post hæc audivi quasi vocem turbarum multarum in cælo dicentium: Alleluja: salus, et gloria, et virtus Deo nostro est:(vulgate) וְאַחֲרֵי־כֵן שָׁמַעְתִּי קוֹל גָּדוֹל כְּקוֹל הָמוֹן רַב בַּשָּׁמַיִם קֹרִאים הַלֲלוּיָהּ הַתְּשׁוּעָה וְהַתִּפְאֶרֶת וְהָעֹז לַיהוָֹה אֱלֹהֵינוּ׃ א Revelation Rev 19:1 Darnach hörte ich eine Stimme großer Scharen im Himmel, die sprachen: Halleluja! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God!(nkjv) ======= Revelation 19:2 ============ Rev 19:2 BECAUSE HIS JUDGMENTS ARE TRUE AND RIGHTEOUS; for He has judged the great harlot who was corrupting the earth with her immorality, and HE HAS AVENGED THE BLOOD OF HIS BOND-SERVANTS ON HER."(nas) Rev 19:2 ὅτι ἀληθιναὶ καὶ δίκαιαι αἱ κρίσεις αὐτοῦ· ὅτι ἔκρινεν τὴν πόρνην τὴν μεγάλην ἥτις ἔφθειρεν τὴν γῆν ἐν τῇ πορνείᾳ αὐτῆς, καὶ ἐξεδίκησεν τὸ αἷμα τῶν δούλων αὐτοῦ ἐκ χειρὸς αὐτῆς. (Nestle-Aland) Rev 19:2 quia vera et justa judicia sunt ejus, qui judicavit de meretrice magna, quæ corrupit terram in prostitutione sua, et vindicavit sanguinem servorum suorum de manibus ejus.(vulgate) אֱמֶת וָצֶדֶק מִשְׁפָּטוֹ כִּי־שָׁפַט אֶת־הַזּוֹנָה הַגְּדוֹלָה אֲשֶׁר־הִשְׁחִיתָה אֶת־הָאָרֶץ בְּתַזְנֻתָהּ וַיִּדְרשׁ מִיָּדָה אֶת־דַּם עֲבָדָיו הַשָּׁפוּךְ׃ ב Revelation Rev 19:2 Denn wahrhaftig und gerecht sind seine Gerichte, daß er die große Hure verurteilt hat, welche die Erde mit ihrer Hurerei verderbte, und hat das Blut seiner Knechte von ihrer Hand gefordert.(dhs) Rev 19:2 For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her."(nkjv) ======= Revelation 19:3 ============ Rev 19:3 And a second time they said, "Hallelujah! HER SMOKE RISES UP FOREVER AND EVER."(nas) Rev 19:3 καὶ δεύτερον εἴρηκαν, ἁλληλουϊά· καὶ ὁ καπνὸς αὐτῆς ἀναβαίνει εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων. (Nestle-Aland) Rev 19:3 Et iterum dixerunt: Alleluja. Et fumus ejus ascendit in sæcula sæculorum.(vulgate) וַיַּעֲנוּ שֵׁנִית הַלֲלוּיָהּ עַד־עוֹלְמֵי עוֹלָמִים יַעֲלֶה עֲשָׁנָהּ׃ ג Revelation Rev 19:3 Und sie sprachen zum andernmal: Halleluja! und der Rauch geht auf ewiglich.(dhs) Rev 19:3 Again they said, "Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!"(nkjv) ======= Revelation 19:4 ============ Rev 19:4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sits on the throne saying, "Amen. Hallelujah!"(nas) Rev 19:4 καὶ ἔπεσαν οἱ πρεσβύτεροι οἱ εἴκοσι τέσσαρες καὶ τὰ τέσσαρα ζῶα, καὶ προσεκύνησαν τῶ θεῶ τῶ καθημένῳ ἐπὶ τῶ θρόνῳ, λέγοντες, ἀμήν, ἁλληλουϊά. (Nestle-Aland) Rev 19:4 Et ceciderunt seniores viginti quatuor, et quatuor animalia, et adoraverunt Deum sedentem super thronum, dicentes: Amen: alleluja.(vulgate) וְעֶשְׂרִים וְאַרְבָּעָה הַזְּקֵנִים וְאַרְבַּע הַחַיּוֹת נָפְלוּ עַל־פְּנֵיהֶם וַיִּשְׁתַּחֲווּ לֵאלֹהִים הַיּשֵׁב עַל־הַכִּסֵּא וַיֹּאמְרוּ אָמֵן הַלֲלוּיָהּ׃ ד Revelation Rev 19:4 Und die vierundzwanzig Ältesten und die vier Tiere fielen nieder und beteten an Gott, der auf dem Stuhl saß, und sprachen: AMEN, Halleluja!(dhs) Rev 19:4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, "Amen! (Nestle-Aland) Rev 19:5 Et vox de throno exivit, dicens: Laudem dicite Deo nostro omnes servi ejus: et qui timetis eum pusilli et magni.(vulgate) וְקוֹל קֹרֵא יָצָא מִן־הַכִּסֵּא לֵאמֹר הַלֲלוּ אֶת־אֱלֹהֵינוּ כָּל־עֲבָדָיו וִירֵאָיו הַקְּטַנִּים עִם־הַגְּדוֹלִים׃ ה Revelation Rev 19:5 Und eine Stimme ging aus von dem Stuhl: Lobt unsern Gott, alle seine Knechte und die ihn fürchten, beide, klein und groß!(dhs) Rev 19:5 Then a voice came from the throne, saying, "Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!"(nkjv) ======= Revelation 19:6 ============ Rev 19:6 Then I heard something like the voice of a great multitude and like the sound of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, saying, "Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns.(nas) Rev 19:6 καὶ ἤκουσα ὡς φωνὴν ὄχλου πολλοῦ καὶ ὡς φωνὴν ὑδάτων πολλῶν καὶ ὡς φωνὴν βροντῶν ἰσχυρῶν λεγόντων, ἁλληλουϊά, ὅτι ἐβασίλευσεν κύριος ὁ θεὸς [ἡμῶν] ὁ παντοκράτωρ. (Nestle-Aland) Rev 19:6 Et audivi quasi vocem turbæ magnæ, et sicut vocem aquarum multarum, et sicut vocem tonitruorum magnorum, dicentium: Alleluja: quoniam regnavit Dominus Deus noster omnipotens.(vulgate) וָאֶשְׁמַע כְּקוֹל הָמוֹן רַב וּכְקוֹל מַיִם רַבִּים וְכִשְׁאוֹן רַעַם חָזָק קֹרֵא הַלֲלוּיָהּ כִּי־מָלַךְ יְהוָֹה אֱלֹהֵי צְבָאוֹת׃ ו Revelation Rev 19:6 Und ich hörte wie eine Stimme einer großen Schar und wie eine Stimme großer Wasser und wie eine Stimme starker Donner, die sprachen: Halleluja! denn der allmächtige Gott hat das Reich eingenommen.(dhs) Rev 19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!(nkjv) ======= Revelation 19:7 ============ Rev 19:7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready."(nas) Rev 19:7 χαίρωμεν καὶ ἀγαλλιῶμεν, καὶ δώσωμεν τὴν δόξαν αὐτῶ, ὅτι ἦλθεν ὁ γάμος τοῦ ἀρνίου, καὶ ἡ γυνὴ αὐτοῦ ἡτοίμασεν ἑαυτήν· (Nestle-Aland) Rev 19:7 Gaudeamus, et exsultemus: et demus gloriam ei: quia venerunt nuptiæ Agni, et uxor ejus præparavit se.(vulgate) לְכוּ וְנִשְׂמְחָה וְנָגִילָה וְנִתְּנָה לּוֹ כָבוֹד כִּי בָאָה חֲתֻנַּת הַשֶּׂה וְכַלָּתוֹ עֲרוּכָה בַכֹּל׃ ז Revelation Rev 19:7 Lasset uns freuen und fröhlich sein und ihm die Ehre geben! denn die Hochzeit des Lammes ist gekommen, und sein Weib hat sich bereitet.(dhs) Rev 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."(nkjv) ======= Revelation 19:8 ============ Rev 19:8 It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.(nas) Rev 19:8 καὶ ἐδόθη αὐτῇ ἵνα περιβάληται βύσσινον λαμπρὸν καθαρόν, τὸ γὰρ βύσσινον τὰ δικαιώματα τῶν ἁγίων ἐστίν. (Nestle-Aland) Rev 19:8 Et datum est illi ut cooperiat se byssino splendenti et candido. Byssinum enim justificationes sunt sanctorum.(vulgate) וַיֻּתַּן לָהּ לִלְבּשׁ בּוּץ זַךְ וְנָקִי כִּי בוּץ הוּא צִדְקַת הַקְּדוֹשִׁים׃ ח Revelation Rev 19:8 Und es ward ihr gegeben, sich anzutun mit reiner und schöner Leinwand. (Die köstliche Leinwand aber ist die Gerechtigkeit der Heiligen.)(dhs) Rev 19:8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.(nkjv) ======= Revelation 19:9 ============ Rev 19:9 Then he said to me, "Write, 'Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.'" And he said to me, "These are true words of God."(nas) Rev 19:9 καὶ λέγει μοι, γράψον· μακάριοι οἱ εἰς τὸ δεῖπνον τοῦ γάμου τοῦ ἀρνίου κεκλημένοι. καὶ λέγει μοι, οὖτοι οἱ λόγοι ἀληθινοὶ τοῦ θεοῦ εἰσιν. (Nestle-Aland) Rev 19:9 Et dixit mihi: Scribe: Beati qui ad cœnam nuptiarum Agni vocati sunt; et dixit mihi: Hæc verba Dei vera sunt.(vulgate) וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלַי כְּתֹב אַשְׁרֵי הַקִּרֻאִים אֶל־הַמִּשְׁתֶּה לַחֲתֻנַּת הַשֶּׂה וַיּוֹסֶף וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלֶּה דִבְרֵי אֱלֹהִים אֱמֶת׃ ט Revelation Rev 19:9 Und er sprach zu mir: Schreibe: Selig sind, die zum Abendmahl des Lammes berufen sind. Und er sprach zu mir: Dies sind wahrhaftige Worte Gottes.(dhs) Rev 19:9 Then he said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!' " And he said to me, "These are the true sayings of God."(nkjv) ======= Revelation 19:10 ============ Rev 19:10 Then I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "Do not do that; I am a fellow servant of yours and your brethren who hold the testimony of Jesus; worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."(nas) Rev 19:10 καὶ ἔπεσα ἔμπροσθεν τῶν ποδῶν αὐτοῦ προσκυνῆσαι αὐτῶ. καὶ λέγει μοι, ὅρα μή· σύνδουλός σού εἰμι καὶ τῶν ἀδελφῶν σου τῶν ἐχόντων τὴν μαρτυρίαν ἰησοῦ· τῶ θεῶ προσκύνησον. ἡ γὰρ μαρτυρία ἰησοῦ ἐστιν τὸ πνεῦμα τῆς προφητείας. (Nestle-Aland) Rev 19:10 Et cecidi ante pedes ejus, ut adorarem eum. Et dicit mihi: Vide ne feceris: conservus tuus sum, et fratrum tuorum habentium testimonium Jesu. Deum adora. Testimonium enim Jesu est spiritus prophetiæ.~(vulgate) וַאֲנִי נָפַלְתִּי לְרַגְלָיו לְהִשְׁתַּחֲוֹת לוֹ וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלַי לֹא־כֵן רְאֵה אָנֹכִי עֶבֶד כָּמוֹךָ וְחָבֵר אֲנִי לְךָ וּלְאַחֶיךָ הַמַּחֲזִיקִים בְּעֵדוּת יֵשׁוּעַ לֵאלֹהִים תִּשְׁתַּחֲוֶה כִּי עֵדוּת יֵשׁוּעַ הִיא רוּחַ הַנְּבוּאָה׃ י Revelation Rev 19:10 Und ich fiel vor ihn zu seinen Füßen, ihn anzubeten. Und er sprach zu mir: Siehe zu, tu es nicht! Ich bin dein Mitknecht und deiner Brüder, die das Zeugnis Jesu haben. Bete Gott an! (Das Zeugnis aber Jesu ist der Geist der Weissagung.)(dhs) Rev 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "See that you do not do that! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."(nkjv) ======= Revelation 19:11 ============ Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war.(nas) Rev 19:11 καὶ εἶδον τὸν οὐρανὸν ἠνεῳγμένον, καὶ ἰδοὺ ἵππος λευκός, καὶ ὁ καθήμενος ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν [καλούμενος] πιστὸς καὶ ἀληθινός, καὶ ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ κρίνει καὶ πολεμεῖ. (Nestle-Aland) Rev 19:11 Et vidi cælum apertum, et ecce equus albus, et qui sedebat super eum, vocabatur Fidelis, et Verax, et cum justitia judicat et pugnat.(vulgate) וָאֵרֶא אֶת־הַשָׁמַיִם נִפְתָּחִים וְהִנֵּה־סוּס לָבָן וְהָרֹכֵב עָלָיו נִקְרָא נֶאֱמָן וְיָשָׁר וּמִשְׁפָּטוֹ וּמִלְחַמְתּוֹ בְּמֵישָׁרִים׃ יא Revelation Rev 19:11 Und ich sah den Himmel aufgetan; und siehe, ein weißes Pferd. Und der daraufsaß, hieß Treu und Wahrhaftig, und er richtet und streitet mit Gerechtigkeit.(dhs) Rev 19:11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.(nkjv) ======= Revelation 19:12 ============ Rev 19:12 His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself.(nas) Rev 19:12 οἱ δὲ ὀφθαλμοὶ αὐτοῦ [ὡς] φλὸξ πυρός, καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ διαδήματα πολλά, ἔχων ὄνομα γεγραμμένον ὃ οὐδεὶς οἶδεν εἰ μὴ αὐτός, (Nestle-Aland) Rev 19:12 Oculi autem ejus sicut flamma ignis, et in capite ejus diademata multa, habens nomen scriptum, quod nemo novit nisi ipse.(vulgate) עֵינָיו כְּלַהֲבוֹת אֵשׁ וַעֲטָרוֹת רַבּוֹת עַל־רֹאשׁוֹ וְעָלָיו שֵׁם חָקוּק אֲשֶׁר לֹא־יֵדַע אֹתוֹ אִישׁ מִלְּבַדּוֹ׃ יב Revelation Rev 19:12 Seine Augen sind wie eine Feuerflamme, und auf seinem Haupt viele Kronen; und er hatte einen Namen geschrieben, den niemand wußte denn er selbst.(dhs) Rev 19:12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself.(nkjv) ======= Revelation 19:13 ============ Rev 19:13 He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.(nas) Rev 19:13 καὶ περιβεβλημένος ἱμάτιον βεβαμμένον αἵματι, καὶ κέκληται τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ ὁ λόγος τοῦ θεοῦ. (Nestle-Aland) Rev 19:13 Et vestitus erat veste aspersa sanguine: et vocatur nomen ejus: Verbum Dei.(vulgate) וְהוּא עֹטֶה לְבוּשׁ מְאָדָּם בְּדָם וּשְׁמוֹ נִקְרָא דְּבַר הָאֱלֹהִים׃ יג Revelation Rev 19:13 Und war angetan mit einem Kleide, das mit Blut besprengt war; und sein Name heißt "das Wort Gottes".(dhs) Rev 19:13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.(nkjv) ======= Revelation 19:14 ============ Rev 19:14 And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses.(nas) Rev 19:14 καὶ τὰ στρατεύματα [τὰ] ἐν τῶ οὐρανῶ ἠκολούθει αὐτῶ ἐφ᾽ ἵπποις λευκοῖς, ἐνδεδυμένοι βύσσινον λευκὸν καθαρόν. (Nestle-Aland) Rev 19:14 Et exercitus qui sunt in cælo, sequebantur eum in equis albis, vestiti byssino albo et mundo.(vulgate) וּצְבָא הַשָּׁמַיִם רֹכְבִים אַחֲרָיו עַל־סוּסִים לְבָנִים מְלֻבָּשִׁים בִּגְדֵי־בוּץ זַךְ וְנָקִי׃ יד Revelation Rev 19:14 Und ihm folgte nach das Heer im Himmel auf weißen Pferden, angetan mit weißer und reiner Leinwand.(dhs) Rev 19:14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.(nkjv) ======= Revelation 19:15 ============ Rev 19:15 From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty.(nas) Rev 19:15 καὶ ἐκ τοῦ στόματος αὐτοῦ ἐκπορεύεται ῥομφαία ὀξεῖα, ἵνα ἐν αὐτῇ πατάξῃ τὰ ἔθνη, καὶ αὐτὸς ποιμανεῖ αὐτοὺς ἐν ῥάβδῳ σιδηρᾷ· καὶ αὐτὸς πατεῖ τὴν ληνὸν τοῦ οἴνου τοῦ θυμοῦ τῆς ὀργῆς τοῦ θεοῦ τοῦ παντοκράτορος. (Nestle-Aland) Rev 19:15 Et de ore ejus procedit gladius ex utraque parte acutus, ut in ipso percutiat gentes. Et ipse reget eas in virga ferrea: et ipse calcat torcular vini furoris iræ Dei omnipotentis.(vulgate) וְחֶרֶב חַדָּה יֹצֵאת מִפִּיו לְהַכּוֹת בָּהּ אֶת־הַגּוֹיִם וּלְרֹעֵם בְּשֵׁבֶט בַּרְזֶל וְהוּא דֹרֵךְ בְּגַת יֵין הַחֵמָה וְהַזַּעַף אֱלֹהֵי הַצְּבָאוֹת׃ טו Revelation Rev 19:15 Und aus seinem Munde ging ein scharfes Schwert, daß er damit die Heiden schlüge; und er wird sie regieren mit eisernem Stabe; und er tritt die Kelter des Weins des grimmigen Zorns Gottes, des Allmächtigen.(dhs) Rev 19:15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.(nkjv) ======= Revelation 19:16 ============ Rev 19:16 And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written,"KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."(nas) Rev 19:16 καὶ ἔχει ἐπὶ τὸ ἱμάτιον καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν μηρὸν αὐτοῦ ὄνομα γεγραμμένον· βασιλεὺς βασιλέων καὶ κύριος κυρίων.
