Today's Date: ======= Ezekiel 28:1 ============ Eze 28:1 The word of the Lord came again to me, saying, (nas) Eze 28:1 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (lxx) Eze 28:1 Et factus est sermo Domini ad me, dicens:(vulgate) Ezekiel 28:1 The woorde of the Lorde came againe vnto me, saying,(Geneva) Eze 28:1 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:(dhs) Eze 28:1 The word of the Lord came to me again, saying,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:2 ============ Eze 28:2 "Son of man, say to the leader of Tyre, 'Thus says the Lord God, "Because your heart is lifted up And you have said, 'I am a god, I sit in the seat of gods In the heart of the seas'; Yet you are a man and not God, Although you make your heart like the heart of God"(nas) Eze 28:2 καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου εἰπὸν τῷ ἄρχοντι Τύρου τάδε λέγει κύριος ἀνθ᾽ ὧν ὑψώθη σου ἡ καρδία καὶ εἶπας θεός εἰμι ἐγώ κατοικίαν θεοῦ κατῴκηκα ἐν καρδίᾳ θαλάσσης σὺ δὲ εἶ ἄνθρωπος καὶ οὐ θεὸς καὶ ἔδωκας τὴν καρδίαν σου ὡς καρδίαν θεοῦ (lxx) Eze 28:2 Fili hominis, dic principi Tyri: [Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Eo quod elevatum est cor tuum, et dixisti: Deus ego sum, et in cathedra Dei sedi in corde maris, cum sis homo, et non deus: et dedisti cor tuum quasi cor Dei:(vulgate) Ezekiel 28:2 Sonne of ma, say vnto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saieth the Lord God, Because thine heart is exalted, & thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God in ye mids of the sea, yet thou art but a man & not God, and though thou didest thinke in thine heart, that thou wast equall with God,(Geneva) Eze 28:2 Du Menschenkind, sage dem Fürsten zu Tyrus: So spricht der HERR HERR: Darum daß sich dein Herz erhebt und spricht: "Ich bin Gott, ich sitze auf dem Thron Gottes mitten im Meer", so du doch ein Mensch und nicht Gott bist, doch erhebt sich dein Herz, als wäre es eines Gottes Herz:(dhs) Eze 28:2 "Son of man, say to the prince of Tyre, 'Thus says the Lord God: "Because your heart is lifted up, And you say, 'I am a god, I sit in the seat of gods, In the midst of the seas,' Yet you are a man, and not a god, Though you set your heart as the heart of a god(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:3 ============ Eze 28:3 Behold, you are wiser than Daniel; There is no secret that is a match for you. (nas) Eze 28:3 μὴ σοφώτερος εἶ σὺ τοῦ Δανιηλ σοφοὶ οὐκ ἐπαίδευσάν σε τῇ ἐπιστήμῃ αὐτῶν (lxx) Eze 28:3 ecce sapientior es tu Daniele: omne secretum non est absconditum a te:(vulgate) Ezekiel 28:3 Behold, thou art wiser then Daniel: there is no secrete, that they can hide from thee.(Geneva) Eze 28:3 siehe, du hältst dich für klüger denn Daniel, daß dir nichts verborgen sei(dhs) Eze 28:3 (Behold, you are wiser than Daniel! There is no secret that can be hidden from you!(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:4 ============ Eze 28:4 "By your wisdom and understanding You have acquired riches for yourself And have acquired gold and silver for your treasuries. (nas) Eze 28:4 μὴ ἐν τῇ ἐπιστήμῃ σου ἢ ἐν τῇ φρονήσει σου ἐποίησας σεαυτῷ δύναμιν καὶ χρυσίον καὶ ἀργύριον ἐν τοῖς θησαυροῖς σου (lxx) Eze 28:4 in sapientia et prudentia tua fecisti tibi fortitudinem, et acquisisti aurum et argentum in thesauris tuis:(vulgate) Ezekiel 28:4 With thy wisedome and thine vnderstanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten golde and siluer into thy treasures.(Geneva) Eze 28:4 und habest durch deine Klugheit und deinen Verstand solche Macht zuwege gebracht und Schätze von Gold und Silber gesammelt(dhs) Eze 28:4 With your wisdom and your understanding You have gained riches for yourself, And gathered gold and silver into your treasuries;(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:5 ============ Eze 28:5 "By your great wisdom, by your trade You have increased your riches And your heart is lifted up because of your riches"(nas) Eze 28:5 ἐν τῇ πολλῇ ἐπιστήμῃ σου καὶ ἐμπορίᾳ σου ἐπλήθυνας δύναμίν σου ὑψώθη ἡ καρδία σου ἐν τῇ δυνάμει σου (lxx) Eze 28:5 in multitudine sapientiæ tuæ, et in negotiatione tua multiplicasti tibi fortitudinem, et elevatum est cor tuum in robore tuo:(vulgate) Ezekiel 28:5 By thy great wisedome and by thine occupying hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted vp because of thy riches.(Geneva) Eze 28:5 und habest durch deine große Weisheit und Hantierung so große Macht überkommen; davon bist du so stolz geworden, daß du so mächtig bist;(dhs) Eze 28:5 By your great wisdom in trade you have increased your riches, And your heart is lifted up because of your riches),"(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:6 ============ Eze 28:6 Therefore thus says the Lord God, 'Because you have made your heart Like the heart of God, (nas) Eze 28:6 διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐπειδὴ δέδωκας τὴν καρδίαν σου ὡς καρδίαν θεοῦ (lxx) Eze 28:6 propterea hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Eo quod elevatum est cor tuum quasi cor dei,(vulgate) Ezekiel 28:6 Therefore thus sayeth the Lorde God, Because thou didest thinke in thine heart, that thou wast equall with God,(Geneva) Eze 28:6 darum spricht der HERR HERR also: Weil sich denn dein Herz erhebt, als wäre es eines Gottes Herz,(dhs) Eze 28:6 'Therefore thus says the Lord God: "Because you have set your heart as the heart of a god,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:7 ============ Eze 28:7 Therefore, behold, I will bring strangers upon you, The most ruthless of the nations. And they will draw their swords Against the beauty of your wisdom And defile your splendor. (nas) Eze 28:7 ἀντὶ τούτου ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπάγω ἐπὶ σὲ ἀλλοτρίους λοιμοὺς ἀπὸ ἐθνῶν καὶ ἐκκενώσουσιν τὰς μαχαίρας αὐτῶν ἐπὶ σὲ καὶ ἐπὶ τὸ κάλλος τῆς ἐπιστήμης σου καὶ στρώσουσιν τὸ κάλλος σου εἰς ἀπώλειαν (lxx) Eze 28:7 idcirco ecce ego adducam super te alienos, robustissimos gentium: et nudabunt gladios suos super pulchritudinem sapientiæ tuæ, et polluent decorem tuum.(vulgate) Ezekiel 28:7 Behold, therefore I wil bring strangers vpon thee, euen the terrible nations: and they shall drawe their swordes against the beautie of thy wisedome, and they shall defile thy brightnes.(Geneva) Eze 28:7 darum, siehe, ich will Fremde über dich schicken, nämlich die Tyrannen der Heiden; die sollen ihr Schwert zücken über deine schöne Weisheit und deine große Ehre zu Schanden machen.(dhs) Eze 28:7 Behold, therefore, I will bring strangers against you, The most terrible of the nations; And they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom, And defile your splendor.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:8 ============ Eze 28:8 'They will bring you down to the pit, And you will die the death of those who are slain In the heart of the seas. (nas) Eze 28:8 καὶ καταβιβάσουσίν σε καὶ ἀποθανῇ θανάτῳ τραυματιῶν ἐν καρδίᾳ θαλάσσης (lxx) Eze 28:8 Interficient, et detrahent te: et morieris in interitu occisorum in corde maris.(vulgate) Ezekiel 28:8 They shall cast thee downe to the pit, and thou shalt die the death of them, that are slaine in the middes of the sea.(Geneva) Eze 28:8 Sie sollen dich hinunter in die Grube stoßen, daß du mitten auf dem Meer stirbst wie die Erschlagenen.(dhs) Eze 28:8 They shall throw you down into the Pit, And you shall die the death of the slain In the midst of the seas.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:9 ============ Eze 28:9 'Will you still say, "I am a god," In the presence of your slayer, Though you are a man and not God, In the hands of those who wound you? (nas) Eze 28:12 υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου λαβὲ θρῆνον ἐπὶ τὸν ἄρχοντα Τύρου καὶ εἰπὸν αὐτῷ τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος σὺ ἀποσφράγισμα ὁμοιώσεως καὶ στέφανος κάλλους (lxx) Eze 28:12 et dices ei: [Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Tu signaculum similitudinis, plenus sapientia, et perfectus decore.(vulgate) Ezekiel 28:12 Sonne of man, take vp a lamentation vpon the King of Tyrus, and say vnto him, Thus sayeth the Lorde God, Thou sealest vp the summe, and art full of wisedome and perfite in beautie.(Geneva) Eze 28:12 Du Menschenkind, mache eine Wehklage über den König zu Tyrus und sprich von Ihm: So spricht der HERR HERR: Du bist ein reinliches Siegel, voller Weisheit und aus der Maßen schön.(dhs) Eze 28:12 "Son of man, take up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, and say to him, 'Thus says the Lord God: "You were the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:13 ============ Eze 28:13 "You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The ruby, the topaz and the diamond; The beryl, the onyx and the jasper; The lapis lazuli, the turquoise and the emerald; And the gold, the workmanship of your settings and sockets, Was in you. On the day that you were created They were prepared. (nas) Eze 28:13 ἐν τῇ τρυφῇ τοῦ παραδείσου τοῦ θεοῦ ἐγενήθης πᾶν λίθον χρηστὸν ἐνδέδεσαι σάρδιον καὶ τοπάζιον καὶ σμάραγδον καὶ ἄνθρακα καὶ σάπφειρον καὶ ἴασπιν καὶ ἀργύριον καὶ χρυσίον καὶ λιγύριον καὶ ἀχάτην καὶ ἀμέθυστον καὶ χρυσόλιθον καὶ βηρύλλιον καὶ ὀνύχιον καὶ χρυσίου ἐνέπλησας τοὺς θησαυρούς σου καὶ τὰς ἀποθήκας σου ἐν σοὶ ἀφ᾽ ἧς ἡμέρας ἐκτίσθης σύ (lxx) Eze 28:13 In deliciis paradisi Dei fuisti: omnis lapis pretiosus operimentum tuum, sardius, topazius, et jaspis, chrysolithus, et onyx, et beryllus, sapphirus, et carbunculus, et smaragdus: aurum, opus decoris tui: et foramina tua, in die qua conditus es, præparata sunt.(vulgate) Ezekiel 28:13 Thou hast ben in Eden the garden of God: euery precious stone was in thy garment, the rubie, the topaze and the diamonde, the chrysolite, the onix, and the iasper, the saphir, emeraude, and the carbuncle and golde: the woorkemanship of thy timbrels, & of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.(Geneva) Eze 28:13 Du bist im Lustgarten Gottes und mit allerlei Edelsteinen geschmückt: mit Sarder, Topas, Demant, Türkis, Onyx, Jaspis, Saphir, Amethyst, Smaragd und Gold. (nas) Eze 28:16 ἀπὸ πλήθους τῆς ἐμπορίας σου ἔπλησας τὰ ταμίειά σου ἀνομίας καὶ ἥμαρτες καὶ ἐτραυματίσθης ἀπὸ ὄρους τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ ἤγαγέν σε τὸ χερουβ ἐκ μέσου λίθων πυρίνων (lxx) Eze 28:16 In multitudine negotiationis tuæ repleta sunt interiora tua iniquitate, et peccasti: et ejeci te de monte Dei, et perdidi te, o cherub protegens, de medio lapidum ignitorum.(vulgate) Ezekiel 28:16 By the multitude of thy marchandise, they haue filled the middes of thee with crueltie, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as prophane out of the mountaine of God: and I will destroy thee, O couering Cherub from the mids of the stones of fire.(Geneva) Eze 28:16 Denn du bist inwendig voll Frevels geworden vor deiner großen Hantierung und hast dich versündigt. I cast you to the ground; I put you before kings, That they may see you. (nas) Eze 28:17 ὑψώθη ἡ καρδία σου ἐπὶ τῷ κάλλει σου διεφθάρη ἡ ἐπιστήμη σου μετὰ τοῦ κάλλους σου διὰ πλῆθος ἁμαρτιῶν σου ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν ἔρριψά σε ἐναντίον βασιλέων ἔδωκά σε παραδειγματισθῆναι (lxx) Eze 28:17 Et elevatum est cor tuum in decore tuo; perdidisti sapientiam tuam in decore tuo: in terram projeci te; ante faciem regum dedi te ut cernerent te.(vulgate) Ezekiel 28:17 Thine heart was lifted vp because of thy beautie, and thou hast corrupted thy wisedome by reason of thy brightnes: I wil cast thee to ye grounde: I will lay thee before Kinges that they may beholde thee.(Geneva) Eze 28:17 Und weil sich dein Herz erhebt, daß du so schön bist, und hast dich deine Klugheit lassen betrügen in deiner Pracht, darum will ich dich zu Boden stürzen und ein Schauspiel aus dir machen vor den Königen.(dhs) Eze 28:17 "Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, That they might gaze at you.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:18 ============ Eze 28:18 "By the multitude of your iniquities, In the unrighteousness of your trade You profaned your sanctuaries. Therefore I have brought fire from the midst of you; It has consumed you, And I have turned you to ashes on the earth In the eyes of all who see you. (nas) Eze 28:18 διὰ τὸ πλῆθος τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν σου καὶ τῶν ἀδικιῶν τῆς ἐμπορίας σου ἐβεβήλωσας τὰ ἱερά σου καὶ ἐξάξω πῦρ ἐκ μέσου σου τοῦτο καταφάγεταί σε καὶ δώσω σε εἰς σποδὸν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς σου ἐναντίον πάντων τῶν ὁρώντων σε (lxx) Eze 28:18 In multitudine iniquitatum tuarum, et iniquitate negotiationis tuæ, polluisti sanctificationem tuam: producam ergo ignem de medio tui, qui comedat te, et dabo te in cinerem super terram, in conspectu omnium videntium te.(vulgate) Ezekiel 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctification by the multitude of thine iniquities, & by the iniquitie of thy marchandise: therefore wil I bring forth a fire from the mids of thee, which shall deuoure thee: and I wil bring thee to ashes vpon the earth, in the sight of all them that beholde thee.(Geneva) Eze 28:18 Denn du hast dein Heiligtum verderbt mit deiner großen Missetat und unrechtem Handel. ' "(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:20 ============ Eze 28:20 And the word of the Lord came to me saying, (nas) Eze 28:20 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (lxx) Eze 28:20 Et factus est sermo Domini ad me, dicens:(vulgate) Ezekiel 28:20 Againe, the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,(Geneva) Eze 28:20 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:(dhs) Eze 28:20 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:21 ============ Eze 28:21 "Son of man, set your face toward Sidon, prophesy against her(nas) Eze 28:21 υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου στήρισον τὸ πρόσωπόν σου ἐπὶ Σιδῶνα καὶ προφήτευσον ἐπ᾽ αὐτὴν (lxx) Eze 28:21 Fili hominis, pone faciem tuam contra Sidonem, et prophetabis de ea:(vulgate) Ezekiel 28:21 Sonne of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesie against it,(Geneva) Eze 28:21 Du Menschenkind, richte dein Angesicht wider Sidon und weissage wider sie(dhs) Eze 28:21 "Son of man, set your face toward Sidon, and prophesy against her,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:22 ============ Eze 28:22 and say, 'Thus says the Lord God, "Behold, I am against you, O Sidon, And I will be glorified in your midst. Then they will know that I am the Lord when I execute judgments in her, And I will manifest My holiness in her. Und sie sollen wohnen in ihrem Lande, das ich meinem Knecht Jakob gegeben habe;(dhs) Eze 28:25 'Thus says the Lord God: "When I have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and am hallowed in them in the sight of the Gentiles, then they will dwell in their own land which I gave to My servant Jacob.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:26 ============ Eze 28:26 They will live in it securely; and they will build houses, plant vineyards and live securely when I execute judgments upon all who scorn them round about them. Then they will know that I am the Lord their God."'"
