(nas) Mic 7:2 ὅτι ἀπόλωλεν εὐλαβὴς ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς καὶ κατορθῶν ἐν ἀνθρώποις οὐχ ὑπάρχει πάντες εἰς αἵματα δικάζονται ἕκαστος τὸν πλησίον αὐτοῦ ἐκθλίβουσιν ἐκθλιβῇ (lxx) Mic 7:2 Periit sanctus de terra, et rectus in hominibus non est: omnes in sanguine insidiantur; vir fratrem suum ad mortem venatur.(vulgate) Micah 7:2 The good man is perished out of the earth, and there is none righteous among men: they all lye in wayte for blood: euery man hunteth his brother with a net.(Geneva) Mic 7:2 Die frommen Leute sind weg in diesem Lande, und die Gerechten sind nicht mehr unter den Leuten. The prince asks, also the judge, for a bribe, And a great man speaks the desire of his soul; So they weave it together. (nas) Mic 7:3 ἐπὶ τὸ κακὸν τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῶν ἑτοιμάζουσιν ὁ ἄρχων αἰτεῖ καὶ ὁ κριτὴς εἰρηνικοὺς λόγους ἐλάλησεν καταθύμιον ψυχῆς αὐτοῦ ἐστιν καὶ ἐξελοῦμαι (lxx) Mic 7:3 Malum manuum suarum dicunt bonum: princeps postulat, et judex in reddendo est; et magnus locutus est desiderium animæ suæ, et conturbaverunt eam.(vulgate) Micah 7:3 To make good for the euil of their hands, the prince asked, and the iudge iudgeth for a reward: therefore the great man he speaketh out the corruption of his soule: so they wrapt it vp.(Geneva) Mic 7:3 und meinen, sie tun wohl daran, wenn sie Böses tun. Die Gewaltigen raten nach ihrem Mutwillen, Schaden zu tun, und drehen's wie sie wollen.(dhs) Mic 7:3 That they may successfully do evil with both hands-- The prince asks for gifts, The judge seeks a bribe, And the great man utters his evil desire; So they scheme together.(nkjv) ======= Micah 7:4 ============ Mic 7:4 The best of them is like a briar, The most upright like a thorn hedge. The day when you post your watchmen, Your punishment will come. Then their confusion will occur. (nas) Mic 7:4 τὰ ἀγαθὰ αὐτῶν ὡς σὴς ἐκτρώγων καὶ βαδίζων ἐπὶ κανόνος ἐν ἡμέρᾳ σκοπιᾶς οὐαὶ οὐαί αἱ ἐκδικήσεις σου ἥκασιν νῦν ἔσονται κλαυθμοὶ αὐτῶν (lxx) Mic 7:4 Qui optimus in eis est, quasi paliurus, et qui rectus, quasi spina de sepe. Dies speculationis tuæ, visitatio tua venit: nunc erit vastitas eorum.(vulgate) Micah 7:4 The best of them is as a brier, and the most righteous of them is sharper then a thorne hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation commeth: then shalbe their confusion.(Geneva) Mic 7:4 Der Beste unter ihnen ist wie ein Dorn und der Redlichste wie eine Hecke. From her who lies in your bosom Guard your lips. My God will hear me. He will bring me out to the light, And I will see His righteousness. (nas) Mic 7:9 ὀργὴν κυρίου ὑποίσω ὅτι ἥμαρτον αὐτῷ ἕως τοῦ δικαιῶσαι αὐτὸν τὴν δίκην μου καὶ ποιήσει τὸ κρίμα μου καὶ ἐξάξει με εἰς τὸ φῶς ὄψομαι τὴν δικαιοσύνην αὐτοῦ (lxx) Mic 7:9 Iram Domini portabo, quoniam peccavi ei, donec causam meam judicet, et faciat judicium meum. Educet me in lucem: videbo justitiam ejus.(vulgate) Micah 7:9 I will beare the wrath of the Lord because I haue sinned against him, vntill he pleade my cause, and execute iudgement for me: then will he bring me foorth to the light, and I shall see his righteousnesse.(Geneva) Mic 7:9 Ich will des HERRN Zorn tragen, denn ich habe wider ihn gesündigt, bis er meine Sache ausführe und mir Recht schaffe; er wird mich ans Licht bringen, daß ich meine Lust an seiner Gnade sehe.(dhs) Mic 7:9 I will bear the indignation of the Lord, Because I have sinned against Him, Until He pleads my case And executes justice for me. (nas) Mic 7:10 καὶ ὄψεται ἡ ἐχθρά μου καὶ περιβαλεῖται αἰσχύνην ἡ λέγουσα πρός με ποῦ κύριος ὁ θεός σου οἱ ὀφθαλμοί μου ἐπόψονται αὐτήν νῦν ἔσται εἰς καταπάτημα ὡς πηλὸς ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς (lxx) Mic 7:10 Et aspiciet inimica mea, et operietur confusione, quæ dicit ad me: Ubi est Dominus Deus tuus? Oculi mei videbunt in eam: nunc erit in conculcationem ut lutum platearum.(vulgate) Micah 7:10 Then she that is mine enemie, shall looke vpon it, and shame shall couer her, which said vnto me, Where is the Lorde thy God? Mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be troden downe as the myre of the streetes.(Geneva) Mic 7:10 Meine Feindin wird's sehen müssen und mit aller Schande bestehen, die jetzt zu mir sagt: Wo ist der HERR, dein Gott? On that day will your boundary be extended. (nas) Mic 7:11 ἡμέρας ἀλοιφῆς πλίνθου ἐξάλειψίς σου ἡ ἡμέρα ἐκείνη καὶ ἀποτρίψεται νόμιμά σου (lxx) Mic 7:11 Dies, ut ædificentur maceriæ tuæ; in die illa longe fiet lex.(vulgate) Micah 7:11 This is ye day, that thy walles shalbe built: this day shall driue farre away the decree.(Geneva) Mic 7:11 Zu der Zeit werden deine Mauern gebaut werden, und Gottes Wort wird weit auskommen.(dhs) Mic 7:11 In the day when your walls are to be built, In that day the decree shall go far and wide.(nkjv) ======= Micah 7:12 ============ Mic 7:12 It will be a day when they will come to you From Assyria and the cities of Egypt, From Egypt even to the Euphrates, Even from sea to sea and mountain to mountain. (nas) Mic 7:12 ἡ ἡμέρα ἐκείνη καὶ αἱ πόλεις σου ἥξουσιν εἰς ὁμαλισμὸν καὶ εἰς διαμερισμὸν Ἀσσυρίων καὶ αἱ πόλεις σου αἱ ὀχυραὶ εἰς διαμερισμὸν ἀπὸ Τύρου ἕως τοῦ ποταμοῦ Συρίας ἡμέρα ὕδατος καὶ θορύβου (lxx) Mic 7:12 In die illa et usque ad te veniet de Assur, et usque ad civitates munitas, et a civitatibus munitis usque ad flumen, et ad mare de mari, et ad montem de monte.(vulgate) Micah 7:12 In this day also they shall come vnto thee from Asshur, and from the strong cities, and from the strong holdes euen vnto the riuer, and from Sea to Sea, and from mountaine to mountaine.(Geneva) Mic 7:12 Und zur selben Zeit werden sie von Assur und von den Städten Ägyptens zu dir kommen, von Ägypten bis an den Strom, von einem Meer zum andern, von einem Gebirge zum andern.(dhs) Mic 7:12 In that day they shall come to you From Assyria and the fortified cities, From the fortress to the River, From sea to sea, And mountain to mountain.(nkjv) ======= Micah 7:13 ============ Mic 7:13 And the earth will become desolate because of her inhabitants, On account of the fruit of their deeds. They will put their hand on their mouth, Their ears will be deaf. (nas) Mic 7:16 ὄψονται ἔθνη καὶ καταισχυνθήσονται ἐκ πάσης τῆς ἰσχύος αὐτῶν ἐπιθήσουσιν χεῖρας ἐπὶ τὸ στόμα αὐτῶν τὰ ὦτα αὐτῶν ἀποκωφωθήσονται (lxx) Mic 7:16 Videbunt gentes, et confundentur super omni fortitudine sua. (nas) Mic 7:17 λείξουσιν χοῦν ὡς ὄφεις σύροντες γῆν συγχυθήσονται ἐν συγκλεισμῷ αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τῷ κυρίῳ θεῷ ἡμῶν ἐκστήσονται καὶ φοβηθήσονται ἀπὸ σοῦ (lxx) Mic 7:17 Lingent pulverem sicut serpentes; velut reptilia terræ perturbabuntur in ædibus suis. Dominum Deum nostrum formidabunt, et timebunt te.(vulgate) Micah 7:17 They shall licke the dust like a serpent: they shall mooue out of their holes like wormes: they shalbe afraide of the Lord our God, & shall feare because of thee.(Geneva) Mic 7:17 Sie sollen Staub lecken wie die Schlangen und wie das Gewürm auf Erden zitternd hervorkommen aus ihren Burgen; sie werden sich fürchten vor dem HERRN, unserm Gott, und vor dir sich entsetzen.(dhs) Mic 7:17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent; They shall crawl from their holes like snakes of the earth. They shall be afraid of the Lord our God, And shall fear because of You.(nkjv) ======= Micah 7:18 ============ Mic 7:18 Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity And passes over the rebellious act of the remnant of His possession? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in unchanging love. (nas) Mic 7:18 τίς θεὸς ὥσπερ σύ ἐξαίρων ἀδικίας καὶ ὑπερβαίνων ἀσεβείας τοῖς καταλοίποις τῆς κληρονομίας αὐτοῦ καὶ οὐ συνέσχεν εἰς μαρτύριον ὀργὴν αὐτοῦ ὅτι θελητὴς ἐλέους ἐστίν (lxx) Mic 7:18 Quis, Deus, similis tui, qui aufers iniquitatem, et transis peccatum reliquiarum hæreditatis tuæ? Non immittet ultra furorem suum, quoniam volens misericordiam est.(vulgate) Micah 7:18 Who is a God like vnto thee, that taketh away iniquitie, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage! He reteineth not his wrath for euer, because mercie pleaseth him.(Geneva) Mic 7:18 Wo ist solch ein Gott, wie du bist, der die Sünde vergibt und erläßt die Missetat den übrigen seines Erbteils, der seinen Zorn nicht ewiglich behält! denn er ist barmherzig.(dhs) Mic 7:18 Who is a God like You, Pardoning iniquity And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? (nas) Mic 7:19 αὐτὸς ἐπιστρέψει καὶ οἰκτιρήσει ἡμᾶς καταδύσει τὰς ἀδικίας ἡμῶν καὶ ἀπορριφήσονται εἰς τὰ βάθη τῆς θαλάσσης πάσας τὰς ἁμαρτίας ἡμῶν (lxx) Mic 7:19 Revertetur, et miserebitur nostri; deponet iniquitates nostras, et projiciet in profundum maris omnia peccata nostra.(vulgate) Micah 7:19 He will turne againe, and haue compassion vpon vs: he will subdue our iniquities, and cast all their sinnes into the bottome of the sea.(Geneva) Mic 7:19 Er wird sich unser wieder erbarmen, unsere Missetaten dämpfen und alle unsre Sünden in die Tiefen des Meeres werfen.(dhs) Mic 7:19 He will again have compassion on us, And will subdue our iniquities.
