Do You not know that I have power to crucify You, and power to release You?"(nkjv) ======= John 19:11 ============ Jn 19:11 Jesus answered, "You would have no authority over Me, unless it had been given you from above; for this reason he who delivered Me to you has the greater sin."(nas) Jn 19:11 ἀπεκρίθη [αὐτῶ] ἰησοῦς, οὐκ εἶχες ἐξουσίαν κατ᾽ ἐμοῦ οὐδεμίαν εἰ μὴ ἦν δεδομένον σοι ἄνωθεν· διὰ τοῦτο ὁ παραδούς μέ σοι μείζονα ἁμαρτίαν ἔχει. Therefore the one who delivered Me to you has the greater sin."(nkjv) ======= John 19:12 ============ Jn 19:12 As a result of this Pilate made efforts to release Him, but the Jews cried out saying, "If you release this Man, you are no friend of Caesar; everyone who makes himself out to be a king opposes Caesar."(nas) Jn 19:12 ἐκ τούτου ὁ πιλᾶτος ἐζήτει ἀπολῦσαι αὐτόν· οἱ δὲ ἰουδαῖοι ἐκραύγασαν λέγοντες, ἐὰν τοῦτον ἀπολύσῃς, οὐκ εἶ φίλος τοῦ καίσαρος· πᾶς ὁ βασιλέα ἑαυτὸν ποιῶν ἀντιλέγει τῶ καίσαρι. Whoever makes himself a king speaks against Caesar."(nkjv) ======= John 19:13 ============ Jn 19:13 Therefore when Pilate heard these words, he brought Jesus out, and sat down on the judgment seat at a place called The Pavement, but in Hebrew, Gabbatha. (nas) Jn 19:13 ὁ οὗν πιλᾶτος ἀκούσας τῶν λόγων τούτων ἤγαγεν ἔξω τὸν ἰησοῦν, καὶ ἐκάθισεν ἐπὶ βήματος εἰς τόπον λεγόμενον λιθόστρωτον, ἑβραϊστὶ δὲ γαββαθα.
