So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put his outer garment on (for he was stripped for work), and threw himself into the sea. When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lorde, he girded his coate to him (for he was naked) and cast himselfe into the sea.(Geneva) Jn 21:7 Da spricht der Jünger, welchen Jesus liebhatte, zu Petrus: Es ist der HERR! Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and plunged into the sea.(nkjv) ======= John 21:8 ============ Jn 21:8 But the other disciples came in the little boat, for they were not far from the land, but about one hundred yards away, dragging the net full of fish. (nas) Jn 21:8 οἱ δὲ ἄλλοι μαθηταὶ τῶ πλοιαρίῳ ἦλθον, οὐ γὰρ ἦσαν μακρὰν ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς ἀλλὰ ὡς ἀπὸ πηχῶν διακοσίων, σύροντες τὸ δίκτυον τῶν ἰχθύων. None of the disciples ventured to question Him, "Who are You?" knowing that it was the Lord. (nas) Jn 21:13 ἔρχεται ἰησοῦς καὶ λαμβάνει τὸν ἄρτον καὶ δίδωσιν αὐτοῖς, καὶ τὸ ὀψάριον ὁμοίως. He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Tend My lambs."(nas) Jn 21:15 ὅτε οὗν ἠρίστησαν λέγει τῶ σίμωνι πέτρῳ ὁ ἰησοῦς, σίμων ἰωάννου, ἀγαπᾷς με πλέον τούτων; λέγει αὐτῶ, ναί, κύριε, σὺ οἶδας ὅτι φιλῶ σε. λέγει αὐτῶ, βόσκε τὰ ἀρνία μου. He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Feed My lambs."(nkjv) ======= John 21:16 ============ Jn 21:16 He said to him again a second time, "Simon, son of John, do you love Me?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Shepherd My sheep."(nas) Jn 21:16 λέγει αὐτῶ πάλιν δεύτερον, σίμων ἰωάννου, ἀγαπᾷς με; λέγει αὐτῶ, ναί, κύριε, σὺ οἶδας ὅτι φιλῶ σε. λέγει αὐτῶ, ποίμαινε τὰ πρόβατά μου.
