And if you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you. (nasb) 2Ch 15:2 And he went out to meet Asa, and said to him: "Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin. The Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you. (nkjv) 2Ch 15:2 Der ging hinaus Asa entgegen und sprach zu ihm: Höret mir zu, Asa und ganz Juda und Benjamin. Der HERR ist mit euch, weil ihr mit ihm seid; und wenn ihr ihn sucht, wird er sich von euch finden lassen. (nasb) 2Ch 15:3 For a long time Israel has been without the true God, without a teaching priest, and without law; (nkjv) 2Ch 15:3 Es werden aber viel Tage sein in Israel, daß kein rechter Gott, kein Priester, der da lehrt, und kein Gesetz sein wird.(dhs) 2Ch 15:3 καὶ ἡμέραι πολλαὶ τῷ Ισραηλ ἐν οὐ θεῷ ἀληθινῷ καὶ οὐχ ἱερέως ὑποδεικνύοντος καὶ ἐν οὐ νόμῳ (lxx) ======= 2 Chronicles 15:4 ============ 2Ch 15:4 But in their distress they turned to the Lord God of Israel, and they sought Him, and He let them find Him. (nasb) 2Ch 15:5 And in those times there was no peace to the one who went out, nor to the one who came in, but great turmoil was on all the inhabitants of the lands. (nkjv) 2Ch 15:5 Zu der Zeit wird's nicht wohl gehen dem, der aus und ein geht; denn es werden große Getümmel sein über alle, die auf Erden wohnen.(dhs) 2Ch 15:5 καὶ ἐν ἐκείνῳ τῷ καιρῷ οὐκ ἔστιν εἰρήνη τῷ ἐκπορευομένῳ καὶ τῷ εἰσπορευομένῳ ὅτι ἔκστασις κυρίου ἐπὶ πάντας τοὺς κατοικοῦντας τὰς χώρας (lxx) ======= 2 Chronicles 15:6 ============ 2Ch 15:6 Nation was crushed by nation, and city by city, for God troubled them with every kind of distress. (nasb) 2Ch 15:6 So nation was destroyed by nation, and city by city, for God troubled them with every adversity. (nkjv) 2Ch 15:6 Denn ein Volk wird das andere zerschlagen und eine Stadt die andere; denn Gott wird sie erschrecken mit allerlei Angst.(dhs) 2Ch 15:6 καὶ πολεμήσει ἔθνος πρὸς ἔθνος καὶ πόλις πρὸς πόλιν ὅτι ὁ θεὸς ἐξέστησεν αὐτοὺς ἐν πάσῃ θλίψει (lxx) ======= 2 Chronicles 15:7 ============ 2Ch 15:7 But you, be strong and do not lose courage, for there is reward for your work." (nasb) 2Ch 15:7 But you, be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded!" (nkjv) 2Ch 15:7 Ihr aber seid getrost und tut eure Hände nicht ab; denn euer Werk hat seinen Lohn.(dhs) 2Ch 15:7 καὶ ὑμεῖς ἰσχύσατε καὶ μὴ ἐκλυέσθωσαν αἱ χεῖρες ὑμῶν ὅτι ἔστιν μισθὸς τῇ ἐργασίᾳ ὑμῶν (lxx) ======= 2 Chronicles 15:8 ============ 2Ch 15:8 Now when Asa heard these words and the prophecy which Azariah the son of Oded the prophet spoke, he took courage and removed the abominable idols from all the land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities which he had captured in the hill country of Ephraim. He then restored the altar of the Lord which was in front of the porch of the Lord. (nasb) 2Ch 15:8 And when Asa heard these words and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and removed the abominable idols from all the land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities which he had taken in the mountains of Ephraim; and he restored the altar of the Lord that was before the vestibule of the Lord. (nkjv) 2Ch 15:8 Da aber Asa hörte diese Worte und die Weissagung Odeds, des Propheten, ward er getrost und tat weg die Greuel aus dem ganzen Lande Juda und Benjamin uns aus den Städten, die er gewonnen hatte auf dem Gebirge Ephraim, und erneuerte den Altar des HERRN, der vor der Halle des HERRN stand,(dhs) 2Ch 15:8 καὶ ἐν τῷ ἀκοῦσαι τοὺς λόγους τούτους καὶ τὴν προφητείαν Αδαδ τοῦ προφήτου καὶ κατίσχυσεν καὶ ἐξέβαλεν τὰ βδελύγματα ἀπὸ πάσης τῆς γῆς Ιουδα καὶ Βενιαμιν καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν πόλεων ὧν κατέσχεν ἐν ὄρει Εφραιμ καὶ ἐνεκαίνισεν τὸ θυσιαστήριον κυρίου ὃ ἦν ἔμπροσθεν τοῦ ναοῦ κυρίου (lxx) ======= 2 Chronicles 15:9 ============ 2Ch 15:9 He gathered all Judah and Benjamin and those from Ephraim, Manasseh and Simeon who resided with them, for many defected to him from Israel when they saw that the Lord his God was with him. (nasb) 2Ch 15:9 Then he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those who dwelt with them from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon, for they came over to him in great numbers from Israel when they saw that the Lord his God was with him. (nkjv) 2Ch 15:9 und versammelte das ganze Juda und Benjamin und die Fremdlinge bei ihnen aus Ephraim, Manasse und Simeon. (nkjv) 2Ch 15:14 Und sie schwuren dem HERRN mit lauter Stimme, mit Freudengeschrei, mit Drommeten und Posaunen.(dhs) 2Ch 15:14 καὶ ὤμοσαν ἐν τῷ κυρίῳ ἐν φωνῇ μεγάλῃ καὶ ἐν σάλπιγξιν καὶ ἐν κερατίναις (lxx) ======= 2 Chronicles 15:15 ============ 2Ch 15:15 All Judah rejoiced concerning the oath, for they had sworn with their whole heart and had sought Him earnestly, and He let them find Him. So the Lord gave them rest on every side. (nasb) 2Ch 15:15 And all Judah rejoiced at the oath, for they had sworn with all their heart and sought Him with all their soul; and He was found by them, and the Lord gave them rest all around. (nkjv) 2Ch 15:15 Und das ganze Juda war fröhlich über dem Eide; denn sie hatten geschworen von ganzen Herzen, und suchten ihn mit ganzem Willen. Und er ließ sich finden, und der HERR gab ihnen Ruhe umher.(dhs) 2Ch 15:15 καὶ ηὐφράνθησαν πᾶς Ιουδα περὶ τοῦ ὅρκου ὅτι ἐξ ὅλης τῆς ψυχῆς ὤμοσαν καὶ ἐν πάσῃ θελήσει ἐζήτησαν αὐτόν καὶ εὑρέθη αὐτοῖς καὶ κατέπαυσεν αὐτοῖς κύριος κυκλόθεν (lxx) ======= 2 Chronicles 15:16 ============ 2Ch 15:16 He also removed Maacah, the mother of King Asa, from the position of queen mother, because she had made a horrid image as an Asherah, and Asa cut down her horrid image, crushed it and burned it at the brook Kidron. (nasb) 2Ch 15:16 Also he removed Maachah, the mother of Asa the king, from being queen mother, because she had made an obscene image of Asherah; and Asa cut down her obscene image, then crushed and burned it by the Brook Kidron. (nkjv) 2Ch 15:16 Auch setzte Asa, der König, ab Maacha, seine Mutter, daß sie nicht mehr Herrin war, weil sie der Ascherah ein Greuelbild gestiftet hatte. Und Asa rottete ihr Greuelbild aus und zerstieß es und verbrannte es am Bach Kidron.(dhs) 2Ch 15:16 καὶ τὴν Μααχα τὴν μητέρα αὐτοῦ μετέστησεν τοῦ μὴ εἶναι τῇ Ἀστάρτῃ λειτουργοῦσαν καὶ κατέκοψεν τὸ εἴδωλον καὶ κατέκαυσεν ἐν χειμάρρῳ Κεδρων (lxx) ======= 2 Chronicles 15:17 ============ 2Ch 15:17 But the high places were not removed from Israel; nevertheless Asa's heart was blameless all his days.
