Today's Date: ======= 2 Chronicles 16:1 ============ 2Ch 16:1 In the thirty-sixth year of Asa's reign Baasha king of Israel came up against Judah and fortified Ramah in order to prevent anyone from going out or coming in to Asa king of Judah. (nasb) 2Ch 16:1 In the thirty-sixth year of the reign of Asa, Baasha king of Israel came up against Judah and built Ramah, that he might let none go out or come in to Asa king of Judah. (nkjv) 2Ch 16:3 Es ist ein Bund zwischen mir und dir, zwischen meinem Vater und deinem Vater; darum habe ich dir Silber und Gold gesandt, daß du den Bund mit Baesa, dem König Israels fahren läßt, daß er von mir abziehe.(dhs) 2Ch 16:3 διάθου διαθήκην ἀνὰ μέσον ἐμοῦ καὶ σοῦ καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τοῦ πατρός μου καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τοῦ πατρός σου ἰδοὺ ἀπέσταλκά σοι χρυσίον καὶ ἀργύριον δεῦρο καὶ διασκέδασον ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ τὸν Βαασα βασιλέα Ισραηλ καὶ ἀπελθέτω ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ (lxx) ======= 2 Chronicles 16:4 ============ 2Ch 16:4 So Ben-hadad listened to King Asa and sent the commanders of his armies against the cities of Israel, and they conquered Ijon, Dan, Abel-maim and all the store cities of Naphtali. (nasb) 2Ch 16:4 So Ben-Hadad heeded King Asa, and sent the captains of his armies against the cities of Israel. They attacked Ijon, Dan, Abel Maim, and all the storage cities of Naphtali. (nkjv) 2Ch 16:4 Benhadad gehorchte dem König Asa und sandte seine Heerfürsten wider die Städte Israels; die schlugen Ijon, Dan und Abel-Maim und alle Kornstädte Naphthalis.(dhs) 2Ch 16:4 καὶ ἤκουσεν υἱὸς Αδερ τοῦ βασιλέως Ασα καὶ ἀπέστειλεν τοὺς ἄρχοντας τῆς δυνάμεως αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὰς πόλεις Ισραηλ καὶ ἐπάταξεν τὴν Ιων καὶ τὴν Δαν καὶ τὴν Αβελμαιν καὶ πάσας τὰς περιχώρους Νεφθαλι (lxx) ======= 2 Chronicles 16:5 ============ 2Ch 16:5 When Baasha heard of it, he ceased fortifying Ramah and stopped his work. (nasb) 2Ch 16:5 Now it happened, when Baasha heard it, that he stopped building Ramah and ceased his work. (nkjv) 2Ch 16:5 Da Baesa das hörte, ließ er ab Rama zu bauen, und hörte auf von seinem Werk.(dhs) 2Ch 16:5 καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ ἀκοῦσαι Βαασα ἀπέλιπεν τοῦ μηκέτι οἰκοδομεῖν τὴν Ραμα καὶ κατέπαυσεν τὸ ἔργον αὐτοῦ (lxx) ======= 2 Chronicles 16:6 ============ 2Ch 16:6 Then King Asa brought all Judah, and they carried away the stones of Ramah and its timber with which Baasha had been building, and with them he fortified Geba and Mizpah. (nasb) 2Ch 16:6 Then King Asa took all Judah, and they carried away the stones and timber of Ramah, which Baasha had used for building; and with them he built Geba and Mizpah. (nkjv) 2Ch 16:6 Aber der König Asa nahm zu sich das ganze Juda, und sie trugen die Steine und das Holz von Rama, womit Baesa baute; und er baute damit Geba und Mizpa.(dhs) 2Ch 16:6 καὶ Ασα ὁ βασιλεὺς ἔλαβεν πάντα τὸν Ιουδαν καὶ ἔλαβεν τοὺς λίθους τῆς Ραμα καὶ τὰ ξύλα αὐτῆς ἃ ᾠκοδόμησεν Βαασα καὶ ᾠκοδόμησεν ἐν αὐτοῖς τὴν Γαβαε καὶ τὴν Μασφα (lxx) ======= 2 Chronicles 16:7 ============ 2Ch 16:7 At that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah and said to him, "Because you have relied on the king of Aram and have not relied on the Lord your God, therefore the army of the king of Aram has escaped out of your hand. (nasb) 2Ch 16:7 And at that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah, and said to him: "Because you have relied on the king of Syria, and have not relied on the Lord your God, therefore the army of the king of Syria has escaped from your hand. (nkjv) 2Ch 16:7 Zu der Zeit kam Hanani, der Seher, zu Asa, dem König Juda's, und sprach zu ihm: Daß du dich auf den König von Syrien verlassen hast und hast dich nicht auf den HERRN, deinen Gott, verlassen, darum ist die Macht des Königs von Syrien deiner Hand entronnen.(dhs) 2Ch 16:7 καὶ ἐν τῷ καιρῷ ἐκείνῳ ἦλθεν Ανανι ὁ προφήτης πρὸς Ασα βασιλέα Ιουδα καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ ἐν τῷ πεποιθέναι σε ἐπὶ βασιλέα Συρίας καὶ μὴ πεποιθέναι σε ἐπὶ κύριον θεόν σου διὰ τοῦτο ἐσώθη δύναμις Συρίας ἀπὸ τῆς χειρός σου (lxx) ======= 2 Chronicles 16:8 ============ 2Ch 16:8 Were not the Ethiopians and the Lubim an immense army with very many chariots and horsemen? You have acted foolishly in this. Indeed, from now on you will surely have wars."
