He will devour the nations who are his adversaries, And will crush their bones in pieces, And shatter them with his arrows.(nasb) ======= Numbers 24:9 ============ Num 24:9 He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed is everyone who blesses you, And cursed is everyone who curses you."(nasb) ======= Numbers 24:10 ============ Num 24:10 And Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times.(KJV) Numbers 24:10 Then Balak was very angry with Balaam, and smote his handes together: so Balak sayde vnto Balaam, I sent for thee to curse mine enemies, and beholde, thou hast blessed them nowe three times.(Geneva) Nombres 24:10 La colère de Balak s'enflamma contre Balaam; il frappa des mains, et dit à Balaam: C'est pour maudire mes ennemis que je t'ai appelé, et voici, tu les as bénis déjà trois fois.(FR) 10 ׃24 וַיִּֽחַר־אַ֤ף בָּלָק֙ אֶל־בִּלְעָ֔ם וַיִּסְפֹּ֖ק אֶת־כַּפָּ֑יו וַיֹּ֨אמֶר בָּלָ֜ק אֶל־בִּלְעָ֗ם לָקֹ֤ב אֹֽיְבַי֙ קְרָאתִ֔יךָ וְהִנֵּה֙ בֵּרַ֣כְתָּ בָרֵ֔ךְ זֶ֖ה שָׁלֹ֥שׁ פְּעָמִֽים׃ Numbers Num 24:10 Then Balak's anger burned against Balaam, and he struck his hands together; and Balak said to Balaam, "I called you to curse my enemies, but behold, you have persisted in blessing them these three times!(nasb) ======= Numbers 24:11 ============ Num 24:11 Therefore now flee thou to thy place: I thought to promote thee unto great honour; but, lo, the LORD hath kept thee back from honour.(KJV) Numbers 24:11 Therefore nowe flee vnto thy place: I thought surely to promote thee vnto honour, but loe, the Lorde hath kept thee backe from honour.(Geneva) Nombres 24:11 Fuis maintenant, va-t'en chez toi! J'avais dit que je te rendrais des honneurs, mais l'Eternel t'empêche de les recevoir.(FR) 11 ׃24 וְעַתָּ֖ה בְּרַח־לְךָ֣ אֶל־מְקוֹמֶ֑ךָ אָמַ֙רְתִּי֙ כַּבֵּ֣ד אֲכַבֶּדְךָ֔ וְהִנֵּ֛ה מְנָעֲךָ֥ יְהוָ֖ה מִכָּבֽוֹד׃ Numbers Num 24:11 Therefore, flee to your place now. I said I would honor you greatly, but behold, the Lord has held you back from honor."(nasb) ======= Numbers 24:12 ============ Num 24:12 And Balaam said unto Balak, Spake I not also to thy messengers which thou sentest unto me, saying,(KJV) Numbers 24:12 Then Balaam answered Balak, Tolde I not also thy messengers, which thou sentest vnto me, saying,(Geneva) Nombres 24:12 Balaam répondit à Balak: Eh! n'ai-je pas dit aux messagers que tu m'as envoyés:(FR) 12 ׃24 וַיֹּ֥אמֶר בִּלְעָ֖ם אֶל־בָּלָ֑ק הֲלֹ֗א גַּ֧ם אֶל־מַלְאָכֶ֛יךָ אֲשֶׁר־שָׁלַ֥חְתָּ אֵלַ֖י דִּבַּ֥רְתִּי לֵאמֹֽר׃ Numbers Num 24:12 Balaam said to Balak, "Did I not tell your messengers whom you had sent to me, saying,(nasb) ======= Numbers 24:13 ============ Num 24:13 If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of the LORD, to do either good or bad of mine own mind; but what the LORD saith, that will I speak?(KJV) Numbers 24:13 If Balak would giue me his house ful of siluer and gold, I can not passe the commandement of the Lorde, to doe either good or bad of mine owne minde? what the Lord shall commaunde, the same will I speake.(Geneva) Nombres 24:13 Quand Balak me donnerait sa maison pleine d'argent et d'or, je ne pourrais faire de moi-même ni bien ni mal contre l'ordre de l'Eternel; je répéterai ce que dira l'Eternel?(FR) 13 ׃24 אִם־יִתֶּן־לִ֨י בָלָ֜ק מְלֹ֣א בֵיתוֹ֮ כֶּ֣סֶף וְזָהָב֒ לֹ֣א אוּכַ֗ל לַעֲבֹר֙ אֶת־פִּ֣י יְהוָ֔ה לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת טוֹבָ֛ה א֥וֹ רָעָ֖ה מִלִבִּ֑י אֲשֶׁר־יְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֹת֥וֹ אֲדַבֵּֽר׃ Numbers Num 24:13 'Though Balak were to give me his house full of silver and gold, I could not do anything contrary to the command of the Lord, either good or bad, of my own accord. What the Lord speaks, that I will speak'?(nasb) ======= Numbers 24:14 ============ Num 24:14 And now, behold, I go unto my people: come therefore, and I will advertise thee what this people shall do to thy people in the latter days.(KJV) Numbers 24:14 And nowe behold, I goe vnto my people: come, I will aduertise thee what this people shall doe to thy folke in the later dayes.(Geneva) Nombres 24:14 Et maintenant voici, je m'en vais vers mon peuple.
