So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.(KJV) Numbers 25:8 And followed ye man of Israel into the tent, and thrust them both through: to wit, the man of Israel, and the woman, through her belly: so the plague ceased from the children of Israel.(Geneva) Nombres 25:8 Il suivit l'homme d'Israël dans sa tente, et il les perça tous les deux, l'homme d'Israël, puis la femme, par le bas-ventre. Et la plaie s'arrêta parmi les enfants d'Israël.(FR) 8 ׃25 וַ֠יָּבֹא אַחַ֨ר אִֽישׁ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל אֶל־הַקֻּבָּ֗ה וַיִּדְקֹר֙ אֶת־שְׁנֵיהֶ֔ם אֵ֚ת אִ֣ישׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְאֶת־הָאִשָּׁ֖ה אֶל־קֳבָתָ֑הּ וַתֵּֽעָצַר֙ הַמַּגֵּפָ֔ה מֵעַ֖ל בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Numbers Num 25:8 and he went after the man of Israel into the tent and pierced both of them through, the man of Israel and the woman, through the body. et je n'ai point, dans ma colère, consumé les enfants d'Israël.(FR) 11 ׃25 פִּֽינְחָ֨ס בֶּן־אֶלְעָזָ֜ר בֶּן־אַהֲרֹ֣ן הַכֹּהֵ֗ן הֵשִׁ֤יב אֶת־חֲמָתִי֙ מֵעַ֣ל בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בְּקַנְא֥וֹ אֶת־קִנְאָתִ֖י בְּתוֹכָ֑ם וְלֹא־כִלִּ֥יתִי אֶת־בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בְּקִנְאָתִֽי׃ Numbers Num 25:11 "Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned away My wrath from the sons of Israel in that he was jealous with My jealousy among them, so that I did not destroy the sons of Israel in My jealousy.(nasb) ======= Numbers 25:12 ============ Num 25:12 Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace:(KJV) Numbers 25:12 Wherefore say to him, Beholde, I giue vnto him my couenant of peace,(Geneva) Nombres 25:12 C'est pourquoi tu diras que je traite avec lui une alliance de paix.(FR) 12 ׃25 לָכֵ֖ן אֱמֹ֑ר הִנְנִ֨י נֹתֵ֥ן ל֛וֹ אֶת־בְּרִיתִ֖י שָׁלֽוֹ[c]ם׃ Numbers Num 25:12 Therefore say, 'Behold, I give him My covenant of peace;(nasb) ======= Numbers 25:13 ============ Num 25:13 And he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous for his God, and made an atonement for the children of Israel.(KJV) Numbers 25:13 And he shal haue it, and his seede after him, euen the couenant of the priestes office for euer, because he was zealous for his God, & hath made an atonement for the children of Israel.(Geneva) Nombres 25:13 Ce sera pour lui et pour sa postérité après lui l'alliance d'un sacerdoce perpétuel, parce qu'il a été zélé pour son Dieu, et qu'il a fait l'expiation pour les enfants d'Israël.(FR) 13 ׃25 וְהָ֤יְתָה לּוֹ֙ וּלְזַרְע֣וֹ אַחֲרָ֔יו בְּרִ֖ית כְּהֻנַּ֣ת עוֹלָ֑ם תַּ֗חַת אֲשֶׁ֤ר קִנֵּא֙ לֵֽאלֹהָ֔יו וַיְכַפֵּ֖ר עַל־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Numbers Num 25:13 and it shall be for him and his descendants after him, a covenant of a perpetual priesthood, because he was jealous for his God and made atonement for the sons of Israel.'"(nasb) ======= Numbers 25:14 ============ Num 25:14 Now the name of the Israelite that was slain, even that was slain with the Midianitish woman, was Zimri, the son of Salu, a prince of a chief house among the Simeonites.(KJV) Numbers 25:14 And the name of the Israelite thus slayne, which was killed with the Midianitish woman, was Zimri the sonne of Salu, prince of the familie of the Simeonites.(Geneva) Nombres 25:14 L'homme d'Israël, qui fut tué avec la Madianite, s'appelait Zimri, fils de Salu;
