Today's Date: Job 26:14 "Behold, these are the fringes of His ways; And how faint a word we hear of Him! But His mighty thunder, who can understand?" (nasb) ======= Job 27:1 ============ Job 27:1 Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,(KJV) Job 27:1 Moreouer Iob proceeded and continued his parable, saying,(Geneva) Job 27:1 Job prit de nouveau la parole sous forme sentencieuse et dit:(FR) 1 ׃27 וַיֹּ֣סֶף אִ֭יּוֹב שְׂאֵ֥ת מְשָׁל֗וֹ וַיֹּאמַֽר׃ Job Job 27:1 Then Job continued his discourse and said, (nasb) ======= Job 27:2 ============ Job 27:2 As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul;(KJV) Job 27:2 The liuing God hath taken away my iudgement: for the Almightie hath put my soule in bitternesse.(Geneva) Job 27:2 Dieu qui me refuse justice est vivant! Le Tout-Puissant qui remplit mon âme d'amertume est vivant!(FR) 2 ׃27 חַי אֵ֭ל הֵסִ֣יר מִשְׁפָּטִ֑י וְ֝שַׁדַּ֗י הֵמַ֥ר נַפְשִֽׁי׃ Job Job 27:2 "As God lives, who has taken away my right, And the Almighty, who has embittered my soul, (nasb) ======= Job 27:3 ============ Job 27:3 All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils;(KJV) Job 27:3 Yet so long as my breath is in me, and the Spirit of God in my nostrels,(Geneva) Job 27:3 Aussi longtemps que j'aurai ma respiration, Et que le souffle de Dieu sera dans mes narines,(FR) 3 ׃27 כִּֽי־כָל־ע֣וֹד נִשְׁמָתִ֣י בִ֑י וְר֖וּחַ אֱל֣וֹהַּ בְּאַפִּֽי׃ Job Job 27:3 For as long as life is in me, And the breath of God is in my nostrils, (nasb) ======= Job 27:4 ============ Job 27:4 My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.(KJV) Job 27:4 My lips surely shall speake no wickednesse, and my tongue shall vtter no deceite.(Geneva) Job 27:4 Mes lèvres ne prononceront rien d'injuste, Ma langue ne dira rien de faux.(FR) 4 ׃27 אִם־תְּדַבֵּ֣רְנָה שְׂפָתַ֣י עַוְלָ֑ה וּ֝לְשׁוֹנִ֗י אִם־יֶהְגֶּ֥ה רְמִיָּֽה׃ Job Job 27:4 My lips certainly will not speak unjustly, Nor will my tongue mutter deceit.(nasb) ======= Job 27:5 ============ Job 27:5 God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.(KJV) Job 27:5 God forbid, that I should iustifie you: vntill I dye, I will neuer take away mine innocencie from my selfe.(Geneva) Job 27:5 Loin de moi la pensée de vous donner raison! Jusqu'à mon dernier soupir je défendrai mon innocence;(FR) 5 ׃27 חָלִ֣ילָה לִּי֮ אִם־אַצְדִּ֢יק אֶ֫תְכֶ֥ם עַד־אֶגְוָ֑ע לֹא־אָסִ֖יר תֻּמָּתִ֣י מִמֶּֽנִּי׃ Job Job 27:5 "Far be it from me that I should declare you right; Till I die I will not put away my integrity from me.(nasb) ======= Job 27:6 ============ Job 27:6 My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.(KJV) Job 27:6 I will keepe my righteousnesse, and wil not forsake it: mine heart shall not reprooue me of my dayes.(Geneva) Job 27:6 Je tiens à me justifier, et je ne faiblirai pas; Mon coeur ne me fait de reproche sur aucun de mes jours.(FR) 6 ׃27 בְּצִדְקָתִ֣י הֶ֭חֱזַקְתִּי וְלֹ֣א אַרְפֶּ֑הָ לֹֽא־יֶחֱרַ֥ף לְ֝בָבִ֗י מִיָּמָֽי׃ Job Job 27:6 "I hold fast my righteousness and will not let it go. My heart does not reproach any of my days. (nasb) ======= Job 27:7 ============ Job 27:7 Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous.(KJV) Job 27:7 Mine enemie shal be as the wicked, and he that riseth against me, as the vnrighteous.(Geneva) Job 27:7 Que mon ennemi soit comme le méchant, Et mon adversaire comme l'impie!(FR) 7 ׃27 יְהִ֣י כְ֭רָשָׁע אֹ֣יְבִ֑י וּמִתְקוֹמְמִ֥י כְעַוָּֽל׃ Job Job 27:7 "May my enemy be as the wicked And my opponent as the unjust.(nasb) ======= Job 27:8 ============ Job 27:8 For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?(KJV) Job 27:8 For what hope hath the hypocrite when he hath heaped vp riches, if God take away his soule?(Geneva) Job 27:8 Quelle espérance reste-t-il à l'impie, Quand Dieu coupe le fil de sa vie, Quand il lui retire son âme?(FR) 8 ׃27 כִּ֤י מַה־תִּקְוַ֣ת חָ֭נֵף כִּ֣י יִבְצָ֑ע כִּ֤י יֵ֖שֶׁל אֱל֣וֹהַּ נַפְשֽׁוֹ׃ Job Job 27:8 "For what is the hope of the godless when he is cut off, When God requires his life?(nasb) ======= Job 27:9 ============ Job 27:9 Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him?(KJV) Job 27:9 Will God heare his cry, when trouble commeth vpon him?(Geneva) Job 27:9 Est-ce que Dieu écoute ses cris, Quand l'angoisse vient l'assaillir?(FR) 9 ׃27 הַֽ֭צַעֲקָתוֹ יִשְׁמַ֥ע ׀ אֵ֑ל כִּֽי־תָב֖וֹא עָלָ֣יו צָרָֽה׃ Job Job 27:9 "Will God hear his cry When distress comes upon him?(nasb) ======= Job 27:10 ============ Job 27:10 Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God?(KJV) Job 27:10 Will he set his delight on the Almightie? will he call vpon God at all times?(Geneva) Job 27:10 Fait-il du Tout-Puissant ses délices? Adresse-t-il en tout temps ses prières à Dieu?(FR) 10 ׃27 אִם־עַל־שַׁדַּ֥י יִתְעַנָּ֑ג יִקְרָ֖א אֱל֣וֹהַּ בְּכָל־עֵֽת׃ Job Job 27:10 "Will he take delight in the Almighty? Will he call on God at all times?(nasb) ======= Job 27:11 ============ Job 27:11 I will teach you by the hand of God: that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.(KJV) Job 27:11 I will teache you what is in the hande of God, and I wil not conceale that which is with the Almightie.(Geneva) Job 27:11 Je vous enseignerai les voies de Dieu, Je ne vous cacherai pas les desseins du Tout-Puissant.(FR) 11 ׃27 אוֹרֶ֣ה אֶתְכֶ֣ם בְּיַד־אֵ֑ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר עִם־שַׁ֝דַּ֗י לֹ֣א אֲכַחֵֽד׃ Job Job 27:11 "I will instruct you in the power of God; What is with the Almighty I will not conceal.(nasb) ======= Job 27:12 ============ Job 27:12 Behold, all ye yourselves have seen it; why then are ye thus altogether vain?(KJV) Job 27:12 Beholde, all ye your selues haue seene it: why then doe you thus vanish in vanitie?(Geneva) Job 27:12 Mais vous les connaissez, et vous êtes d'accord; Pourquoi donc vous laisser aller à de vaines pensées?(FR) 12 ׃27 הֵן־אַתֶּ֣ם כֻּלְּכֶ֣ם חֲזִיתֶ֑ם וְלָמָּה־זֶּ֝֗ה הֶ֣בֶל תֶּהְבָּֽלוּ׃ Job Job 27:12 "Behold, all of you have seen it; Why then do you act foolishly?(nasb) ======= Job 27:13 ============ Job 27:13 This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty.(KJV) Job 27:13 This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of tyrants, which they shal receiue of the Almightie.(Geneva) Job 27:13 Voici la part que Dieu réserve au méchant, L'héritage que le Tout-Puissant destine à l'impie.(FR) 13 ׃27 זֶ֤ה ׀ חֵֽלֶק־אָדָ֖ם רָשָׁ֥ע ׀ עִם־אֵ֑ל וְֽנַחֲלַ֥ת עָ֝רִיצִ֗ים מִשַׁדַּ֥י יִקָּֽחוּ׃ Job Job 27:13 "This is the portion of a wicked man from God, And the inheritance which tyrants receive from the Almighty.(nasb) ======= Job 27:14 ============ Job 27:14 If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.(KJV) Job 27:14 If his children be in great nomber, the sworde shall destroy them, and his posteritie shall not be satisfied with bread.(Geneva) Job 27:14 S'il a des fils en grand nombre, c'est pour le glaive, Et ses rejetons manquent de pain;(FR) 14 ׃27 אִם־יִרְבּ֣וּ בָנָ֣יו לְמוֹ־חָ֑רֶב וְ֝צֶאֱצָאָ֗יו לֹ֣א יִשְׂבְּעוּ־לָֽחֶם׃ Job Job 27:14 "Though his sons are many, they are destined for the sword; And his descendants will not be satisfied with bread.(nasb) ======= Job 27:15 ============ Job 27:15 Those that remain of him shall be buried in death: and his widows shall not weep.(KJV) Job 27:15 His remnant shall be buried in death, and his widowes shall not weepe.(Geneva) Job 27:15 Ceux qui échappent sont enterrés par la peste, Et leurs veuves ne les pleurent pas.(FR) 15 ׃27 *שרידו **שְׂ֭רִידָיו בַּמָּ֣וֶת יִקָּבֵ֑רוּ וְ֝אַלְמְנֹתָ֗יו לֹ֣א תִבְכֶּֽינָה׃ Job Job 27:15 "His survivors will be buried because of the plague, And their widows will not be able to weep.(nasb) ======= Job 27:16 ============ Job 27:16 Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;(KJV) Job 27:16 Though he shoulde heape vp siluer as the dust, and prepare rayment as the clay,(Geneva) Job 27:16 S'il amasse l'argent comme la poussière, S'il entasse les vêtements comme la boue,(FR) 16 ׃27 אִם־יִצְבֹּ֣ר כֶּעָפָ֣ר כָּ֑סֶף וְ֝כַחֹ֗מֶר יָכִ֥ין מַלְבּֽוּשׁ׃ Job Job 27:16 "Though he piles up silver like dust And prepares garments as plentiful as the clay, (nasb) ======= Job 27:17 ============ Job 27:17 He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.(KJV) Job 27:17 He may prepare it, but the iust shall put it on, and the innocent shall deuide the siluer.(Geneva) Job 27:17 C'est lui qui entasse, mais c'est le juste qui se revêt, C'est l'homme intègre qui a l'argent en partage.(FR) 17 ׃27 יָ֭כִין וְצַדִּ֣יק יִלְבָּ֑שׁ וְ֝כֶ֗סֶף נָקִ֥י יַחֲלֹֽק׃ Job Job 27:17 He may prepare it, but the just will wear it And the innocent will divide the silver.(nasb) ======= Job 27:18 ============ Job 27:18 He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth that the keeper maketh.(KJV) Job 27:18 He buildeth his house as the moth, and as a lodge that the watchman maketh.(Geneva) Job 27:18 Sa maison est comme celle que bâtit la teigne, Comme la cabane que fait un gardien.(FR) 18 ׃27 בָּנָ֣ה כָעָ֣שׁ בֵּית֑וֹ וּ֝כְסֻכָּ֗ה עָשָׂ֥ה נֹצֵֽר׃ Job Job 27:18 "He has built his house like the spider's web, Or as a hut which the watchman has made.(nasb) ======= Job 27:19 ============ Job 27:19 The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not.(KJV) Job 27:19 When the rich man sleepeth, he shal not be gathered to his fathers: they opened their eyes, and he was gone.(Geneva) Job 27:19 Il se couche riche, et il meurt dépouillé;
