(nasb) ======= Job 29:4 ============ Job 29:4 As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle;(KJV) Job 29:4 As I was in the dayes of my youth: when Gods prouidence was vpon my tabernacle:(Geneva) Job 29:4 Que ne suis-je comme aux jours de ma vigueur, Où Dieu veillait en ami sur ma tente,(FR) 4 ׃29 כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר הָ֭יִיתִי בִּימֵ֣י חָרְפִּ֑י בְּס֥וֹד אֱ֝ל֗וֹהַּ עֲלֵ֣י אָהֳלִֽי׃ Job Job 29:4 As I was in the prime of my days, When the friendship of God was over my tent; (nasb) ======= Job 29:5 ============ Job 29:5 When the Almighty was yet with me, when my children were about me;(KJV) Job 29:5 When the almightie was yet with me, and my children round about me.(Geneva) Job 29:5 Quand le Tout-Puissant était encore avec moi, Et que mes enfants m'entouraient;(FR) 5 ׃29 בְּע֣וֹד שַׁ֭דַּי עִמָּדִ֑י סְבִ֖יבוֹתַ֣י נְעָרָֽי׃ Job Job 29:5 When the Almighty was yet with me, And my children were around me; (nasb) ======= Job 29:6 ============ Job 29:6 When I washed my steps with butter, and the rock poured me out rivers of oil;(KJV) Job 29:6 When I washed my pathes with butter, & when the rocke powred me out riuers of oyle:(Geneva) Job 29:6 Quand mes pieds se baignaient dans la crème Et que le rocher répandait près de moi des ruisseaux d'huile!(FR) 6 ׃29 בִּרְחֹ֣ץ הֲלִיכַ֣י בְּחֵמָ֑ה וְצ֥וּר יָצ֥וּק עִ֝מָּדִ֗י פַּלְגֵי־שָֽׁמֶן׃ Job Job 29:6 When my steps were bathed in butter, And the rock poured out for me streams of oil!(nasb) ======= Job 29:7 ============ Job 29:7 When I went out to the gate through the city, when I prepared my seat in the street!(KJV) Job 29:7 When I went out to the gate, euen to the iudgement seat, and when I caused them to prepare my seate in the streete.(Geneva) Job 29:7 Si je sortais pour aller à la porte de la ville, Et si je me faisais préparer un siège dans la place,(FR) 7 ׃29 בְּצֵ֣אתִי שַׁ֣עַר עֲלֵי־קָ֑רֶת בָּ֝רְח֗וֹב אָכִ֥ין מוֹשָׁבִֽי׃ Job Job 29:7 "When I went out to the gate of the city, When I took my seat in the square, (nasb) ======= Job 29:8 ============ Job 29:8 The young men saw me, and hid themselves: and the aged arose, and stood up.(KJV) Job 29:8 The yong men saw me, & hid themselues, and the aged arose, and stood vp.(Geneva) Job 29:8 Les jeunes gens se retiraient à mon approche, Les vieillards se levaient et se tenaient debout.(FR) 8 ׃29 רָא֣וּנִי נְעָרִ֣ים וְנֶחְבָּ֑אוּ וִֽ֝ישִׁישִׁים קָ֣מוּ עָמָֽדוּ׃ Job Job 29:8 The young men saw me and hid themselves, And the old men arose and stood.(nasb) ======= Job 29:9 ============ Job 29:9 The princes refrained talking, and laid their hand on their mouth.(KJV) Job 29:9 The princes stayed talke, and layde their hand on their mouth.(Geneva) Job 29:9 Les princes arrêtaient leurs discours, Et mettaient la main sur leur bouche;(FR) 9 ׃29 שָׂ֭רִים עָצְר֣וּ בְמִלִּ֑ים וְ֝כַ֗ף יָשִׂ֥ימוּ לְפִיהֶֽם׃ Job Job 29:9 "The princes stopped talking And put their hands on their mouths; (nasb) ======= Job 29:10 ============ Job 29:10 The nobles held their peace, and their tongue cleaved to the roof of their mouth.(KJV) Job 29:10 The voyce of princes was hidde, and their tongue cleaued to the roofe of their mouth.(Geneva) Job 29:10 La voix des chefs se taisait, Et leur langue s'attachait à leur palais.(FR) 10 ׃29 קוֹל־נְגִידִ֥ים נֶחְבָּ֑אוּ וּ֝לְשׁוֹנָ֗ם לְחִכָּ֥ם דָּבֵֽקָה׃ Job Job 29:10 The voice of the nobles was hushed, And their tongue stuck to their palate.(nasb) ======= Job 29:11 ============ Job 29:11 When the ear heard me, then it blessed me;
